They had posted on their signs they were open till 7 but online the latest appointment was for 4:45 so I booked it through their app after calling at 6 only to hear a voicemail that says they dont answer the phones after 6.I used their app to try to book an appointment I never got any confirmation when I called after work to try to speak to someone (3:30 in the afternoon) no one answered the phone.When I arrived I waited outside since they were working on someones hair the barber pretended I wasnt there for a good twenty minutes then when he noticed he said he could not take an appointment and to use the app after I told him I had already tried.Making people use a QR code or an app should be a violation of ADA compliance I am able bodied and still couldnt get it to work.

I’m excited and surprised to find an awesome barber shop like Juan’s in middle Alameda. The place is modern with a chill vibe and the barbers are welcoming. They take credit/debit which makes things very convenient. I’m happy to say I found my neighborhood barber I can count on!

I’ve been going here for probably two years now. Easy to schedule appointment. They follow all Covid protocols. Do a good job. Work recommend to go get cut there.

It was a great experience. I might come back but cmon, I came for a simple Clipper Cut and got charged an extra $10 because it turned into a Clipper cut w/beard trim combo for half of an inch on my sidebruns. It aint fair nor a good way to keep new customers.. If there is a next time, Ill be careful about that...Alright, thanks you for the answer. I didnt see it at first, otherweise Id have asked at the shop ! See you next time ! :)

Juan is the man and his shop is great. Dude is really a master of his craft, takes his time to make sure you look right and it shows when you walk out. Shop is super clean, temp checks at the door, nobody inside but staff and clients. Cant recommend it enough.

One of the best cutters/barbers Ive ever seen. Really. He understands hair and what you want. Also, I thought this was awesome, he takes the time! There is no rush and Juan is invested in doing a great cut. OH, and Juan is a great guy. I took my 5 year old and now Im heading over for my cut!

Now that I’ve gone here I don’t think I can willingly get my haircut anywhere else again. These guys, who are very welcoming, know what they’re doing and will offer advice which I can’t say about other barber shops. The place itself is very clean.

Hands down best barbershop experience I had in the Bay since I moved out here.Juan and Kay-Jay have been super friendly and welcoming they go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. Shop is always clean smelling good great vibes.. After a haircut they arent in a rush to kick you out if you got a few min to hang back.

Ive looking for a go to barber for over a year now since Ive moved back to the Bay and havent found one I really liked until this place. The online scheduler was clutch and fit in my schedule. I picked Kay Jay because he was open at 5:30 on the same day and glad I did. He started by finding out exactly how I liked my hair and asked a lot of questions on what I liked and not liked. Hes a cool funny dude in general and kept me laughing throughout with his stories. Also the shop is attached to a cool ass sneaker store. Definitely will be back every 3 weeks!

My barbershop for life. Before Juans I was just a janky cheap barbershop guy. But now Im here for the experience - and its worth every penny.Ive been coming here for years but the revamp will wow anyone coming in. I stop by once in a while even when Im not getting a cut!The main thing that differentiates this shop is the time and care that each barber puts into your cut. They definitely take 10-15 minutes more and the extra strokes count. I usually take my out of town friends here as a treat.
