Great barber! Im surprised he doesnt have more business, but maybe he doesnt want more. He has five or six chairs but Ive never seen another barber working with him. Jolyn might not look like your typical barber, but dont be fooled. She is a pro and can cut classic, as well as modern cuts. My usual is a fade and it is always clean. She also cuts my twin four your old boys and they both are very comfortable with her. Highly recommend. The back of the shop also has a manicure/pedicure space if youre going for the full pamper session but I have not yet tried.

I have started going here since my nail shop on Lincoln Ave has closed down. When I got my nails done the first time i was so pleased i decided to go back. The gel i get on my nails lasts longer at this place and i can grown them easier without them breaking like with other nail shop gel. They spend money on quality products and charge 8-12 dollars less than i am used to for paying for a low quality service. i recommend them to EVERYONE

So honestly I dont know why more people dont use this barber shop in Alameda. No one is ever in there when I go. I mean absolutely no one. And the nice man, who I assume owns the store, just sits there and waits for customers. Everytime I go in he hops right up and asks me to sit down. It might be a deterrent to some because he doesnt speak English very well but the man knows how to fade. And you cant beat the price! Best fade Ive gotten on the island for under 25 bucks. He takes his time and gives you a great cut Everytime! Little hidden gem on Park St.

A decent haircut, but the best factor is the price. I go for a pretty simple cut, so I cant speak to how they do on more elaborate styles, but Ive gotten good, quick service every time I visit, at a very reasonable price.

I have been following Jolyn for a while. My son is autistic and he wont get a hair cut from no one else. My second , kid loves her to.....as well as me. Shes awesome with kids....and the hair cuts are great. Why go somewhere else.....you wont regret it. Call in before coming in or if you are lucky walk in. She really busy , and why not she great.

Jolyn is very good at what she does. She has yet to disappoint and pays very close attention to detail. Shes also very nice, friendly, and loves kids.

We have been coming to Jolyn for about three years, at this shop as well as her previous shop. She is very friendly and does a great job with our haircuts. She does not accept appointments but it has been very rare for us to ever have to wait long to be seen.

This place ******* sucks. I asked him for a taper and a line and the dude gave me the worst fade I’ve ever had. It’s not even a taper it’s a basic fade. He then cut my beard down to a one and didn’t even LINE ME UP! Are you even a barber dude??!! I’m literally on my way to another barber to HOPEFULLY salvage this POS hair cut.
