I went for the first time today and I had to post a review ASAP. The salon is beautiful and very clean, it’s a shame it’s in such a tight spot on portage crossing, I had no idea it was there until I got a gift card from someone. I believe her name is Leah, sweet young woman with short black hair and a strip or two of purple, I’m describing her appearance in case I have her name wrong because she is the one to go to for acrylics and design. I got a full set, coffin shaped, gel polish with a designed French tip AND a massage added from a different manicure service in 45mins!!! That’s the fastest I’ve ever had a full set done, I’m usually sitting for at least an hour and a half so that blew me away. She didn’t rush at all, she’s just THAT GOOD. She even free handed my design?! She was very delicate, a perfectionist and clearly showed a lot of experience. I usually have a bit of discomfort in my nails from new acrylics and get a fuss from whoever I asked for a design before, but not with Leah.Only criticism I have is that the additional massage I paid for was nice but not worth the cost. I think the woman who was working the front misunderstood which manicure spa service I was asking for. I just got a quick light hand massage and hot towel wrap for a minute or two.Based on previous reviews, I suggest scheduling an appointment, especially if you’re getting acrylics and/or mani/pedi and if your getting anything with a friend or more because they seem to be busy often and you’re more likely to wait a while as a walk in due to so many appointments. I saw the list of names and it was very long. I only waited 5-10 minutes after my set appointment.I’d say it’s considered a higher end nail salon with bar service that draws in a lot of traffic, so don’t be unrealistic people! Poor lady up front was so overwhelmed and there were people showing up with ridiculous expectations.

The place was very busy which was not the problem. My dip manicure took over two hours which is again, fine. I have had my manicure for five days and five nails are already broken off. The initial quality of the manicure was below average. The polish did not cover the entire nail and it looked rushed even though it took an extended period of time.

Love this place been going for 6yrs even though I would never get my nails done before. I always have MO do my nails. She always know something great for me if I cant figure out what I want. Reasonable price. They use every kind of nail, design product and tools. Let you take home your nail file they use if you want. Amazing nail file. Pay for what you get done any way you want but all tips have to be cash. Love this place check it out ask for MO I think shes the best there.

I swear to god I hate this Anthony Vince location.Im so annoyed that Im writing a google review. This is the first time they have turned me away for various reasons and this will be the very last time.If youre open until 7 then I should be able to get service until 7. Dont give me some absurd reason, that we take our last clients at 6 or until were at capacity. Honestly what does that really mean? If you take your last clients at 6 then to should close at 6 and not have hours posted until 7 or how about exclusively take appointments only. I wasnt asked what I wanted to get either. Which was a simple soak off. Minimal work needed be done. At least ask that or have this policy posted somewhere. Now off to Yelp and any other place I can leave a review. If you like Anthony Vince I would recommend going to you at the Cuyahoga Falls location because at least theyre willing to actually take client to do work.

I love this place. I go to Mary whenever i can and she never disappoints. she does quality work that doesn’t take hours and is very social so it’s never awkward when she’s doing my nails (you know how it can be). The only downside is this place can be very expensive. I do believe that you pay for what u get but there are a few techs there that aren’t as worth it.

Ive tried this location 3 or 4 times now and I will never use them again. The pedicure chairs are regularly dirty, and twice I was sat in a chair with my feet in cold, still water while waiting for a technician. I understand that waits are normal, especially when short-staffed, but nobody ever checked on me either time during the 30+ minute waits. Today, I waited 30 minutes for a mani pedi while sat in a pedicure chair and apparently the tech i spoke to didnt understand what I wanted, so he left me there and accepted customers who came in after me. The man at the front desk didnt notice until 15 minutes later when I asked what happened. He didnt apologize, just told me to wait 10 more minutes. 15 minutes after that, I walked out. It pains me to write a negative review, but this location is so consistently poorly managed I will never go there again.

I was a walk-in. I wrote my number down, I informed the young man that I was going to get cash for a tip. Upon my return I asked how long the wait was. I was informed, I tried to call you a couple of times but Verizon said your service was disconnected. He was rather loud while sharing this information with me. I informed him that I do t have Verizon service. I also asked what number he dialed. He told me and I informed him that wasnt my number. He looked SUPRISED and his face turned red. I asked him how long the wait would be and if they had other appointments. He informed me they were booked through the weekend. At this point, he walked over and said. I thought that was a 7, look at the line above.I wont be patronizing this salon anymore. This employee was trying to embarrass me with the level and tone of his voice and the information was incorrect. He NEVER ATTEMPTED TO APOLOGIZE or to accommodate me.

Loved it ! Sue is quick but gentle. With the social distancing it was not too crowded or loud. I was comfortable. $58 for a simple mani/pedi is the most affordable price Ive ever paid for such a great service. Cant wait to go back !

Had me waiting damn near 2 hrs instead just sayin they’re short staffed. By then they tried to have a dude do my manicure and I’m male. I don’t get down like that I was highly offended.

Anthony Vince Nail Spa is amazing! Angel did a fantastic job of my nails and was wonderful to chat with as well. I have gotten so many compliments on my nails since having them done. Below is a picture of them at the salon the day of, and another picture of them with almost 3 weeks growth (no damage)! I recommend getting dip polish and making an appointment with Angel.

I’ve been trying my hardest to stick with this chain, however, they have once again disappointed me.I walked in 15 mins before they opened for pedicure and fill in and I was told there wasn’t a wait.Right before I’m done getting my pedicure the receptionist walks up to me and tells me it will be an hour wait for my fill in…. How? I was the 5th client in the door. It just seem fishy when I was the only lady of color. Just sayingGot me out here looking basic with my nails and toes two different colors. This is the only free time I have from my family and some people don’t have an hour to wait. This is why they make sure they show up early.

Got my nails done 4 days ago and one came off. called and they said there would be no fee to get it repaired and they charged me 8 bucks.

I received a full set and a pedicure today and I don’t think I have ever been to a salon that treated me the way they did. My nails were perfect (it was really the shape and the way they laid for me) and my toes have never looked better. I received such great service even though I arrived at 4 something and they closed at 6. I have to say both these ladies were a perfectionist I left way before they closed and my wait times was only minute or so and you could definitely tell they were busy but I was never rushed such great service I had to make a future appointment. Also very clean environment and great layout honestly. Thank you for your services. Only thing I would change is being able to tip with your card but for future I know to bring cash thank you again

I got an infection from the pedicure I had here on Saturday, 5/30/2020. Went in for a pedicure around 11:30/12 and by that evening my toe was swollen, red and it hurt to bend. I called the salon to let them know and they could only say Im sorry.The salon looks beautiful, and the tech was friendly but at the end of the day getting an infection means they are not sanitizing like they should be. Beware!

It’s a cool place! Very upscale feeling and the people are nice. You have to wait a while though if you’re a walk on client but they are still nice and speedy but thorough.

My first visit was with my Mother. I spent about $97 for our services, which I was very pleased with. We returned today (some 3 weeks later) and somehow my Mothers services alone equated to $97; and my color change was $35. When I questioned this, I was informed that the person who cashed me out from my first visit (which happens to be the Manager) must not have charged me correctly...thats right, the MANAGER charged me incorrectly. (Confused face). Ill take my business elsewhere - at least they know their prices and I am charged the same fee(s) for service consistently w/ every visit.

The salon is very nice but the service is AWFUL. Save your $

Ive been coming to Anthony Vince nails for several years now (first to the Portage crossings location and then to this one-which is closer to my house) and Ive ALWAYS had a great experience. What prompted me to post a review today was my exceptional service from Tom. Again, Ive always had a great experience here, but he was phenomenal. Super personable and per usual Im walking out looking and feeling great. I bartend and Im on my feet for crazy hours and definitely need to get a pedi pretty regularly to maintain my feet. They always have my feet baby soft and looking beautiful!

I love this salon so much. I go to Trang and have been for years. She’s a class act and the best with acrylics and I’m very picky! Highly recommend not only her but anyone here!

Beautiful place. But my wait was long. And my acrylics are already coming off (lost 2) I just got them Friday (its now Wednesday) paid 53$ they should definitely stay on a little longer than 5 days. I ended up paying 120 for 2 sets of acrylics. Never have I ever paid that much for 2 sets. Very disappointed.

I would definitely not go to this place if you are looking to get acrylics. I got mine done 1 day before vacation and 5 of them fell off during my trip. When I called them they told me I must of been hitting my nails on things. I said no, Im on vacation and have been doing nothing but laying around. The manager told me I could come in and they would fix them. I told her absolutely not after this. I do not want your services, I want my money back. She refused and said we dont refund for services weve already done. I told her 5 of them came off within a week! She did not care and refused a refund and said they would fix them. Why? So they can fall off again? Im like you guys really want another bad review? They really dont care. Ill never be back and Ill definitely let others know also.

Went to A.Vince Nail Spa and I got a whole lot more for my money! Beautiful facility, friendly staff, AND they SANITIZE their supplies!!! Paid $35 for just a polish change. Two days later the polish was pulling up and chipped. Called and was told to come back in and they would redo my polish. When I arrived, the manager said he would just touch up several spots. I said that’s not acceptable since the sides were coming up and that I’d rather just have the polish fixed on all of them. When I showed him where it was coming up he basically said I was the one ruining them. He said I would have to pay more to have them all fixed. HORRIBLE customer service. I was embarrassed to have even been talked to the way I was in front of everyone there. Over priced and poor quality service.

Manicure with gel polish was perfect! Pedicure was horrible left with my feet still rough, went back for a fix they told me they dont get all of the dead skin off the 1st time, which I call BS!! Not my 1st I know how my feet are supposed to feel!

VERY rude customer service. Being good nail technicians is nothing without respect and good treatment from the employees. Also, if the manager makes a deal with a customer (for example says he wont charge extra for certain things) out of courtesy, there should be communication between them and the nail technician working on the nails. The agreement on prices is never what was initially discussed. Extra charges are tacked on at the end without notice/warning. I was not treated fairly and would appreciate a more pleasant customer experience. First and last try

Sam is the best! He has such a keen eye for detail. Best place to go for dip/SNS. They work hard to make sure you like what you are getting. Had to wait a bit despite making an appointment but they were short staffed. I was impressed day 1 and still impressed!

I just got a pedicure today from Toni, and it was fabulous!! I have had major toe nail issues for years, and she built out acrylics on both my big toes. Very meticulous with so much attention to detail. My feet looks and feel so good. I consistently go here for dip or shellac on my nails as well, and occasionally take my daughters. The service is always consistent, professional and friendly, and I would highly recommend them!

Tonya and Tony are fabulous! I have been going to this location since they opened. It is always clean and the people who work there are very friendly. They recommended dip polish. My granddaughter had her nails done the cost was more than double what she was told it would be. I believe she was taken advantage of as she is only fifteen and went into the shop alone. Having just come from Seattle where the cost of living is triple the cost of living here and being charged double what she would have paid in Seattle for less service than she have received there I believe the technician ripped her off. She was in tears when I picked her up as she was also told she had to Venmo a tip. Bad business and horrible customer service to take advantage of a teenager.

I got my nails done there this Wednesday for a wedding on a Sunday. It’s Saturday night (three nights later) and the gel manicure is lifting already on half of my nails. It did look nice but it should really last longer than a few days.

Ive been to various Anthony Vince locations and theyre always very nice and produce great results, however I would recommend making an appointment. I went in today as a walk-in and waited an hour before leaving, the receptionist didnt inform me it would be a longer wait and I couldnt help but notice that there was another walk-in who came in after me and was serviced before me. I still recommend them to everyone, but definitely make an appointment with them.

I’ve tried many of the Anthony Vince locations and recently tried this one and it’s become my favorite. Johnny the manager here is very down to earth, easy to talk to, professional and does what you ask him to do unlike many nail salons where they act upset that you request your nails be done the way you like them not the way that’s fastest to get your money and get you out the door. The location is great, with a lovely design. However, the location is in need of some serious dusting and overall cleanliness. I understand dust accumulates because of the work done. I dont believe this shop is doing a good job in that area....i.e each desk, hand rests, floor, big nail dryer up front etc.

I got my nails done like a couple days ago and 2 of my nails fell off and I didn’t bump anything they literally came off if I knew that this place didn’t do good I would of got my nails done somewhere else

Currently getting a pedicure, i believe 5he woman is new. I had to request my heels be filed and a 5 years old could have sanded my feet better. No massage, hot towel treatment was stopped to file my heels, which were not sanded. I typically come to this location for convenience, never had a bad experience till now. Maybe you should have working interviews! 😡😠

Very happy with my Dip Powder nails!! Ive been to 4 other salons for dip nails, and none knew what they were doing. Johnny was experienced and did a great job on my nails. The salon is clean, and the staff friendly. They also have a good selection of colors.

This is a great place, with great employees. I take my 10 year old daughter for mani/pedis with me and we always have a great time. They do a wonderful job, and we always have a nice, relaxing time.

Very disappointed. My friend called and made an appointment for a certain time. When we got to the salon... the lady greeted us with an attitude and when we said we had appointments she told us we were late (we were not). She then proceeded to tell us they filled our spots in 10 mins from our supposed appointment time that we did not ask for. They then told us that we could leave and they would call us to tell us to come back. We are college students that made appointments early in the morning and showed up EARLY for our appointment. We do not have time to leave and come back. We will now be enjoying our pedicures at another salon down the street. This is the second time I have not been satisfied here. Something needs to be fixed.

I went today for the first time and my experience was amazing. Everyone was so nice and my nails look great. Ask for Sam, he’s very good and he takes his time to make sure everything looks right.

Its really hit and miss here. Ive gotten some great pedicures and some not so good ones. This time, my calluses werent smoothed out but the overall pedicure was fine. I got a manicure too, with paraffin wax for my hands. The woman comes out with two baggies of hot melted wax and she wanted me to stick my hand in and keep it submerged in the extremely hot wax. I felt like it was boiling my hands and I know from previous professional manicures that youre not supposed to keep your hands IN the wax, just dip in and out a few times and bag it up. I tried to continue with the wax but I couldnt. She half heatedly wiped it off with a towel and then started polishing my nails without wiping the wax residue or oil off my fingernails. Needless to say, polish didnt stay and the manicure was not good at all. Even some of my cuticles were bleeding afterwards. I probably wont return.

This place is absolutely awesome. I always go to Toni, she just does such a beautiful job! Johnny is great too. The place is immaculate and relaxing. I enjoy my visit every time I go. I HIGHLY recommend this place!!

I recently moved to Ohio from Pittsburgh. I happened to come across this salon while going to Wholefoods and decided to give it a try after my shopping was done, so I called to make an appointment. The person who scheduled for me was very very accommodating that it gave me a feeling of comfort, because I am very skeptical of trying a new place. When I got there, I was so impressed with the decorations. The salon is so beautiful, and it is cleanest salon I have ever been in. The staff attended to my needs accordingly, and they were very friendly. Luoc helped me picked out my colors, seated me, and got me water. He was very sweet. Andy gave me a pedicure with the best foot rub ever, and Toni gave me a dipping powder manicure that looked very natural. They both did an amazing job. I can not wait to tell people about this salon, and I definitely will be a returning often.

They always do such a wonderful job on my manicure at Anthony Vince. I always get the dip, and it easily lasts at least two weeks and my nails always grow long and strong during that time.

They have good customer service but my acrylics don’t stay on. They lift at the bottom and sides and just pop off. I got them done a week ago and I’m missing 3 nails now.

Ive gone to an Anthony Vince Nail Spa many times before and I realized theyre not all the same. Walking into this location there was no one to greet us at the front desk. One of the nail techs told us to pick out our colors after we signed in. She took my friend all the way in the back and then I had to wait up front for someone else to come take care of me. Throughout my entire time the nail tech and the receptionist were talking all the way across the room from one another and no one there acted like they wanted to be there. The nail tech that took care of me didnt even have acrylics all the way in the cuticles so they looked grown out after they were finished and she made them super thick. I will never go back to this location.

The gel polish they use does not last longer than 2 days before chipping. I just dont understand why. I dont know why they have to go in the back room to get to get the polish. Nobody else in the nail business does that. Very shady. I stopped patronizing them.

I absolutely love coming here! I travel all the way from South Euclid (45 minute drive) to have Johnny do my nails. Theyre very clean, professional and personable. This place has my highest recommendations. Ive referred so many of my friends and family to him and they also make the long drive for their excellent service!

I have been coming to this salon since they first opened. Johnny accommodates to me so well every time I walk through the door. His staff have my nails looking amazing. My eyebrows are always waxed nicely too. I have had almost a try with each and everyone in there. They are so attentive and professional. Everyone is so friendly. I absolutely love it all. If you want nice nails, and people to treat you good, go here.FYI: unfortunately when I first came, I was not able to leave a tip because they only take cash tips. I don’t ever have to worry that I’ll be treated like just a number or money in their pocket. I’ve gotten acrylics (fills and full sets), dip powder, and gel manicures here and I’ve honestly never been disappointed! I started going to Johnny when my nails were destroyed and not only did he educate me on what I need to watch out for but he took months to help me get back on track. He offered me free, personalized service and I’ll forever be grateful. I’ve also had great experiences with Tanya and Toni! I drive 20 minutes out of my way to go here and I would recommend this place to anyone!

This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced! I called at noon on a Sunday to make an appointment at 4:00 for myself and my friend that was driving in from Cleveland. I was told that they didnt except appointments on Sundays and that we could just walk right in with no problem. My friend and I showed up at 3:45 (thinking it would be plenty of time due to them closing at 6:00). We were told it would be a 45 minute wait. We left and were on our way back and was called at 4:45 to tell is that they couldnt take us due to other appointments running over. I informed the girl that called to cancel that my friend drove all the way from Cleveland and we arrived 2 hours and 15 minutes before they closed. I also asked her why she didnt tell us in person when we arrived or didnt call earlier to inform us. She responded well I just made the call now. I would not recommend this nail salon to anyone! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!

Ashley Kaye is the best!!! I followed Ashley from her old salon. I updated (still w 5 stars) to let everyone including the 1 star crazy lady, that Ashley is very professional. Most highly recommended nail salon in Akron! I walked in a few weeks ago and was accommodated wonderfully. I got a full set done by the manager and was beyond pleased with the results! The staff is very friendly and the shop is BEAUTIFUL

I love this place! First of all the service and the nail technicians are second to none! They are always fun, smiling, and happy while working really hard to make your experience a positive one. Toni at the salon is the best! She has a fun and easy demeanor and her skills are soooo amazing. She creates a perfect set of nails quickly and easily every single time I have had her work on my nails. Another thing I have noticed about her style is she has a gentle touch with her tools on my nails, nail beds and fingers it’s nice when it’s not painful to be beautiful. I would recommend her and this salon location to anyone.

Luc did a very good job on my toes. Prices are very reasonable, salon is very nice inside. Amber at the front desk was very nice.

Do yourself a favor: RUN, don’t walk, to this AV location!!! The service is TOP NOTCH. Everyone is nice and their work is absolutely impeccable. I’m super picky and I never leave disappointed. I won’t go anywhere else!!!

I love the environment here and the workers are always happy to help and are very talented. They have a huge range of colors to choose from. On top of that you can bring your own alcohol. What’s better than that. I highly recommended Anthony Vince Nail Spa ♥️

I had my nails dipped on 5/3 by Rae (not sure of spelling) and she did a wonderful job! My nails look amazing. She was very professional and made sure that my nails were perfect before I left.The concern that I have is that I have had my nails dipped here 3 times and each time the process was different. Shouldn’t the process be the same?

Toni and Johnny are amazing! The service here is so great and the people are down to earth and very friendly. This spot trumps the location in Cuyahoga Falls. If you’re looking for good nail service or a fun girls outing, call and book with them today! They have such a beautiful space for groups.
