Rad Air came highly recommended, and I am so pleased to experience why.I truly appreciated the turn-around time, full explanation of services rendered, and suggestion of other services necessary for my car’s health.Understandably, the use of a loaner car was an enormous convenience and I was fortunate that Rob secured/reserved the one he had available.I cannot sing enough praises concerning Rad Air, but I will be certain to not only trust my vehicle to them for further necessary repairs, but also to recommend them to my family and friends!

Came in woth a fuel line leak that was really bad. Expected it to take 2 days to fix, which I was fine with. They heard I was on vacation and was able to fix it that day for a fair price. Even explained the reason the line leaked and made sure it wouldnt happen again. Super nice, super professional, and super fair

Took my ford here for some brake, exhaust, and caliper work and Rob was an outstanding individual. He goes above and beyond the customers needs and is always in a good mood. The repairs were done in a timely manner and done well. Very good group of people.

The customer service was great at both offering unsolicited information and answering all our questions. I took my BMW 330 Xi there because it was leaking radiator fluid. They said it needed a coolant reservoir. They wanted $600 to fix the coolant reservoir. I normally take my car to Autobahn for repairs. This price seemed excessive to me. I checked with Autobahn it was $385. Autobahn is a certified German repair shop that works on nothing but German cars. They were trying to charge me for pressurizing flushing the system etc. which was not necessary.They have completely lost my business. I did have my Lexus service there and was happy the first time but this experience completely soured me on the shop and I would not recommend it to anyone

Both Quenton & Roby were very professional and welcoming. They repaired my car because I was having issues with it not wanting to start all the time. They put a brand new battery in my car after they did an inspection to make sure The car did not have electrical issues. If I have issues in the future I will be a return customer. I took my Dodge truck here for a power steering leak, they said it was a hose leaking. 500$ repair. 30 days later (looked at the invoices) leaking the same fluid. No surprise it’s a different hose. Another 500$. Took it to another shop bc yet again after the 1,000$ i spent on this leak, it was never the hoses but a totally different part! This shop is a scam STAY CLEAR OF RAD AIR IN THE VALLEY SAVE YOUR MONEY. DONT TRUST THESE SCAMMERS

Roby hooked me up! Calipers failed on the way home at rush hour of course! I was 20 miles away in a panic on the highway! I called Roby, said bring it in . He reserved their last loaner car for me! Next day car was finished. So far so good! I recommend these guys! Not the cheapest in town , but great quality work,! You get what you pay for is what I believe! They washed my car as well! Rad air is quick and knowledgeable; theyre always very thorough. I was happy to see the plexiglass and only allowing 2 customers in the showroom at a time. Quinton has been helpful and they will even offer to ride along and listen to any noises. They replaced my fluids (transmission, oil, brake, and washer) and recently redid my tie rods and front end issues. They offer rides and a vehicle if you need it in the meantime. I always take my car here for oil changes and will continue!! They also asked me if I wanted to keep my 10 yr old car or if I was planning on getting a new car - because this helps them determine how much money I still wanted to put into it. The repairs are still cheaper than a new vehicle so I appreciate them helping me maintain my 10 yr old car !

$2150!!! It should never cost that much to have brakes, sway bar links and tie rods replaced. Any decent mechanic would have never taxed like that. Better off going to a shop that does not price gauge. Someone should have noticed and a deal should have been made but they wanted arms and legs and they are out for blood

Wow!!! They completed a full vehicle inspection. Did 100,000 mile maintenance service. Answered all my questions and concerns. I will definitely be back.

Out $3,000 and still have the original problem. Highly suggest NOT choosing this auto service. Replaced the wrong part, provided poor workmanship 2X on another part and when there still was a oil problem after the second try I was told nothing is wrong with their work. Heres the details:Took it in for an oil leak, air not working and engine noise. They replaced AC compressor, alternator and valve cover gasket which I paid $3,000Still had an oil leak and noise. A friend who owns a shop said the noise was coming from the water pump and the oil from the valve cover gasket. Returned where Radair said they needed to redo the valve gasket and after 2 discussions eventually admitted the noise was coming from the water pump and made an excuse for the first misdiagnosis. I then asked maybe the alternator didnt need replaced and was told, No, it did. (oh, OK). They replaced the gasket (I had the alternator done elsewhere). Oil still leaking on the floor. Took it back to my friend where he put it on his lift and I saw with my own eyes oil AND an oil droplet on the bottom front corner of the valve cover gasket. When I took it back to Radair they said it was the oil pan gasket leaking. I asked, then how oil and a drop of oil would get to the corner of the valve gasket and was told I dont know and was not provided any more service.

Absolutely wonderful experience very professional. Fixed my A/C issue for a fraction of the cost of other shops and there work came with a warranty. They also kept the inside of my vehicle clean with no greasy hand and foot prints . Highly recommend checking them out and I can guarantee you will go back for other services. My ugly, old car is very special to me because it’s the only thing I’ve ever owned. Roby was very honest, helpful, and the prices are very fair. He even possibly helped my fiancé to get a new engine in his car for free through Kia. We will definitely use RadAir for all of our car needs as long as we are in Akron!

Every time I’ve used them, both Rick and Quentin are great. They get the work done right the first time in a timely fashion. They have loaners available but have even offered to give me a ride home. What I like the best is that they do what’s needed and alert me to potential issues but do not try to fix things that aren’t broken. At times I’ve asked them to check specific things. They have reported back that everything is fine with no repairs needed. That speaks volumes about their integrity. I would recommend them to anyone!

Rad Air got me in next day for new brakes and finished them same day. My brakes are better than the day I bought the car, and Ive had it to three other shops and two dealerships in the three years Ive owned it! Will definitely return next time I need work. Robby was extremely kind and thorough as well.

Excellent, professional, and friendly service! A dealership quoted me over $1300 to replace the A/C compressor after a $150 diagnostic. RadAir diagnosed the real problem and fixed it for under $400. So happy I went to RadAir! :)

Great experience and staff. They made the process of getting the repairs and service done seem less. The place seems efficient and you can tell they care about their clients. That part is hard to find. Definitely stop here first for your vehicle service and maintenance. I’m thankful I trusted them during a very crucial weekend for me and my business. EDIT: My third time visiting Rad Air was an overall bad experience. They kept my vehicle for four days and said I wouldn’t get it back until i pay for the repairs in full, even though I told him to hold off on repairs (he claimed he had his guys get right on it anyway).The next week the adjuster inspected the vehicle and told me that NO repairs had been done on the vehicle!!I called back and told him that my adjuster was on the phone. He then confirmed that no repairs had been completed.My question is why keep my vehicle under false pretenses???Initially I was going to go through with the repairs even though the price was high, but after that debacle I opted against it. Yes, there are less expensive places, but my main concern is trust... which was lost.

I was disappointed that they took my appointment and when I got there they said they would not be able to get to me. I absolutely understand people get busy but they should not over book. Dont take appointments if you do not have time to do the work or at least make it clear that there are no guarantees the car will be done in time.

I appreciated them towing my car from my residence to their place in such a quick time. They were very punctual on getting back to me and letting me know what was wrong and how much it was going to be for my repairs. They were nice, understanding, and professional. Very overpriced though.

While the work that was done on my vehicle was fine, the professionalism in this place is definitely lacking. Given the current situation, not a single employee was observing the mask mandate which really frustrated me. I also noticed several employees smoking while on the job. I’ll definitely look elsewhere next time I need a repair.

I ran a whole bunch of please check this on my car stuff at him and he kindly checked everything on my list and gave me estimates for non essentials and replaced belts, battery cables and gave an oil change all in the same day. I needed complete new front break replacement done immediately (and more)on 2014 Honda CRV. Initial quotes pretty high from other repair shops and a friend recommended this place/location. Rick and his staff did an amazing job. Worked w me on scheduling (next day repair), a loaner car and pricing/budget so I could get all completed (front brakes, alignment, air filter etc.) the next day. Rick wanted to earn my business and his passion/commitment was felt and acknowledged plus the personal follow up the following day was truly appreciated. Give this shop a try, I am glad I did!

Rad Air is an awesome shop! Trustworthy and beyond friendly, they make sure that my car is roadworthy. The convenience of driving a loaner car while they work on mine, is a huge plus as well. They follow up on their work and if it’s not perfect take the time to make it right.

My Cadillac needed its steering column replaced. Radair found ther best possible value for the replacement part and went above and beyond in making sure it retained its custom look and feel. They did an excellent job with my car and were exceptional in provision of customer service.

I took my vehicle to Rad Air that I had purchased from an auction, so I expected it to have issues.....Roby was super nice, but there were other concerns and miscommunications and the car ended up costing more than I anticipated, ...lesson learned on my part regarding doing due diligence when it comes to purchasing a vehicle and how much parts and labors cost.....as I would advise everyone to do before taking your car anywhere....Quenton & his wife were very nice and accommodating and went above and beyond to make sure that I was satisfied with the service I received.....which I greatly appreciated..

It was my first and last time at this repair shop. The mechanic who changed my oil left grimy oil all over my light tan drivers seat. When he was asked to clean it, his half-hearted efforts did not completely remove the stain. Two other gentlemen did finally get most of the dirt out; however the seat was wet for 24 hours.

I have a 2015 Subaru Forester with 190k miles. It looks great and runs great, hard to believe it has the miles that it does. On my way home from work one night, it decided that it just wasn’t going anywhere and I realized that my transmission just gave up on me.The closest place to the breakdown is where AAA had me towed and I wasn’t given any option other than an OEM transmission from Subaru. I made a few calls and Rick called me with multiple options and quickly worked with me to have my Forester brought in.A transmission with 40k miles on it was put in and I’m back on the road for less than half of my original quote and 2-3 weeks before the original shop would have had me on the road.Great job, RadAir!Douglas

Had a check engine light on and took the car to these guys. They charged me an astronomical price of $140 plus said the work it would take to fix the car would be over $1,000. This place is a huge rip off! When I confronted them he said oh well yeah I mark my parts up I ended up finding the parts and getting the work done with a better mechanic and all in cost me only $300. My new mechanic said he could check the light as a courtesy next time and that AutoZone also does check engine light checks for FREE. Also, the loaner they gave us was so dirty we had to open the windows to breath just disgusting. Stay far away!

I went there to get repair work done because they had been recommended to me. So I had several items taken care of and am very satisfied with the work that was done. I also feel confident that I was charged fairly for the services they did. I also am confident that if they tell you about a problem, its because there really is a problem. My husband and I have always gone to this Rad Air location since we moved to the area almost four years ago. Weve always trusted the staff. They have fair prices, they do good work, and they never seem like theyre trying to trick you or sell you on something thats not necessary. That seems to be so rare in car repair locations.However I just took my car in earlier this week, and when I got the car back, my iPod, my iPod cable, a USB adapter, and my phone charger cord had disappeared. I dont normally leave my iPod in when work is being done on my car, but I forgot about it until I was walking away as I dropped the car off, and I literally thought to myself, Itll be fine. I trust these guys, and it wont be in the way of the work theyre doing. It never occurred to me the cords and adapter could be in danger of being stolen as well. My husband picked up my car when it was done, so he didnt notice things were missing, but I noticed as soon as I got in the car the next day. I looked everywhere in the car and then called Rad Air, and the manager invited me to come down and have him look through the car for the items. I took him up on it, even though I knew it was a waste of time. Ive thought through every possibility, because I really dont want to believe the Rad Air staff is to blame, but there is literally no other way these items could have disappeared without signs of damage to the car. My husband and I are vigilant about locking the doors, and even if we had forgotten, the doors lock automatically within 30 seconds after they close.[Update: The manager says he spoke to every member of his staff individually to see if they knew anything about the missing items. I believe he did that, but they all told him they didnt know anything, and he believes them. To be fair, he has really bent over backwards to try to win me back as a customer. Thats why Im bumping this review up to three stars. He offered to refund the money for the work that was just done on my car, and he offered to buy me a new iPod. However, the fact remains that my items disappeared on Rad Airs watch, and I dont feel safe entrusting my possessions to this location anymore. Im really disappointed, but its not worth the future anxiety to me.]Additionally, none of the staff was wearing masks in the customer lobby or when they were in close proximity to customers, despite the statewide mask mandate that went into effect yesterday.

Went to Rad Air for the first time today (to get my car eCheck ready), and I couldn’t be happier.
