Great indoor and outdoor seating! Beautiful restaurant. On weekends there is a belly dancer. Music was great and kept us really entertained. Also a dance floor. They have hookah and a bar. Food wasn’t the best. Baklava was terrible and so hard to bite into. The waitress was great! Great vibe but food can definitely be better!

Not the first time I visited this place on a Friday but this time we didnt like it much - the food was average, service was poor and it seemed like the DJs played the same tracks (and probably in the same order) from when I visited couple of years ago during the Bollywood DJ night. They did not even coordinate on the setlist!!

If you like loud music and dance floor here is the place for you. They got really busy after 9. The owner is very friendly and wants to make sure you have really great night. Hookah is great. I would however rate food and drinks average . They don’t have any tap beer or making special cocktails . Have tasted better food at other Lebanese’s restaurant

Best place for weekends, we started visiting on every Friday recently, before 10 pm it’s free to enter, after 10 pm there is charge of $10 per person, I suggest to visit here with group of friends to have best time, Belly dance 💃 stood highlights 👌. Food is okay okay, Hookah is also available….! Car parking is a disaster here because the lot will fill in few minutes, We usual go with Vallet parking. We never satisfied with the customer service over here, especially the bar tenders will ask you for Tip every time you purchase, this happens for us most of the times, so better leave the card with them & collect when you leave. These are our experiences we faced in June & July 2021….!

I was too busy have fun here that I forgot to tale good pictures of the place. I gave it 4 star not 5 because I only have one complaint with this place, the bill. It was way to high for the food that we had ordered. Other than that this place is VIBES. And I mean major VIBES on the weekends.You will have hard time finding parking ao it’s better to do valet parking. I believe it’s only $10.There are 3 major themes here on the weekends. Friday is Bollywood Music, Saturday is International Music and Sunday is Latin Music. You will also see belly dances if you go early. And you will end up dancing and vibing like crazy if you go a little late. You want to drink and have fun and meet new people, this is the place for you, hands down.

Very different from I was expecting. The server was nice but the service very slow. Food came fast but they took too long to take our order and to come back later to check on us. We just ordered some appetizers and they were ok. I dont recommend ordering the cocktails here. The plates from the other table looked good though.

Im visting Dallas and I was looking for a nice hookah place, Im glad I found this place. Everyone is super friendly and the place is very welcoming.BILAL was helping us and he was one of the best servers I have seen, extremely friendly and had a big smile on his face all night.Definitely would go back and definitely would recommend.

Before Covid-19, It was the least expensive hangout place with Hookah, dancing floor and drinks. But after covid, they have increased the prices.

If you want to enjoy hookah with Dessi songs especially South Indian songs on every Friday go for it for sure but food won’t attract you much

The single worst experience I ever had at any place.This place requires you to give them your credit card before you can place your order for food. And they do not give you a receipt of all the items you order. They simply give you a credit card receipts that has the total amount charged to your order and forced 20% gratuity.The service was absolutely horrendous. The waiter brought terrible attitude and energy from the gecko. He did not bring us water for our meal. When I had asked him for the second time, he simply ignored me.The food is mediocre and overpriced.There are so many better options in the neighborhood with better food and service.

The food quality is mediocre. There is lots of smoke in the bar. People smoking cigarettes and hooka. I wish they limit the smoking to outdoors. Its nice that they play various music but DJ was at most 3 of 5 on a Saturday night. Groupon is not valid on weekend which considering the quality the food is pricy.

Worst experience ever had. on entrance they asked me to pay 10$. and this will be deducted from the total invoice. but when I paid they invoice they said no it’s entrance fees. I never saw restaurant with entrance fees. second the waiter ask my to keep my credit card with him. and said we can’t service you , you have to give me your credit card. I reject then the waiter said will be serving . strange how come asking to keep the card with him. Finally be careful on arch places

If you want to experience food and music from different countries this is the place to go! Been here on a Friday and on a Saturday and the vibe is different. Food? Food is good flavor is there and costumer service okay could be way better. Hookah is available if thats something you never done before! Plenty of flavors to choose. Forgot to say cover is only $10 few so not bad and Parking?get there early if not VIP parking it is.

The food was good but it would be nice if when you ordered the garlic chicken you knew you were getting half of a chicken on the bone. Not very easy or attractive to eat when on a date. I also found it odd that they were out if tea and didnt offer any cocktails. Only beer or wine for alcohol options. Others with me got the lamb and chicken kabobs which were also good snd much easier to eat while on a date.

Not the typical restaurant fair but a welcomed change. Good Lebanese food complimented by belly dancing will definitely make for a good experience. Plus, kids are welcome and big groups will be set up nicely.

As usual, alamir has best service bartenders lisbeth and Michele. A good variety of international music. Food is authentic, flavorful and excellent. Service is amazing.Biggest dance floor anywhere. Always a blast to be there on Saturday night and the new covered bar outside is a cool and awesome idea.

Garbage.Parking was a disaster. More than half the lot is blocked off for valet. For the size of the venue there should definitely be a bigger lot or partner with neighboring businesses to allow for extra parking especially on the weekends when there are theme nights, but ofcourse they wont do that because they can charge $10 for valet.Once inside, theres a cover charge of $10 per person even if you dont want to partake in the dance party. This is understandable because its not segregated and I believe they only charge after a certain time.Customer service is horrendous. Took 35 minutes just to be acknowledged by our server and then another 10 minutes before he came to get our order. Ordered a hookah, water and Kunafa. Took another 10 minutes before the water showed up. Another 10-15 mins before the hookah arrived. Then realized the Kunafa had not made it to the table yet. Had to wait for server to come back around because he was nowhere to be found just for him to tell us that they were out of the Kunafa. Fine whatever, ordered a different dessert. Trying to get coals changed on the hookah was a mission in itself.Then came the bill. We ordered a regular head hookah ($21), but were charged for the pineapple head ($36). When I confronted the server, he said he assumed I wanted the pineapple head (which was the same head EVERY SINGLE OTHER TABLE HAD). When I asked to speak to the manager, he said he was the manager and they couldnt do anything about it. To top it off, they charged $13.20 for gratuity. Understandable for a large party but we had 2 people in our party. Thats hardly fair. At this point it wasnt worth wasting my time and energy.Will never visit again and would strongly recommend against this place. Save your money, energy and time. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere.This review is for the Addison location.

Clean, happening, delicious food, amazing customer service , decent drinks, ambience, crowd, dancers... all in one package was great. We were visiting from California and had great time with friends at the restuarant. With covid restrictions in place the restuarant was placing customer with social distancing and everyone had a mask on. I would def visit this place when I visit Dallas again ...Lentil soup and chicken shawarma a must try.!!!

I went their to dance in Bollywood music and the DJ played popular Bollywood music. The DJ even played Nepali songs. The vibe is awesome. I have not tried their hookah or drinks, so I can’t say much about it.

They do play Bollywood songs which is awesome but they treat people like dogs after 2 am to get them out once they are about to close.

This place is by far the most amazing authentic Lebanese/ middle eastern restaurant in all Miami!! Even if you know nothing about Lebanese food, come anyway!! They will guide you and give you recommendations... I promise you, you can’t go wrong. Seating is outdoor, so no excuses.

Delicious food, awesome staff. Was there for Wednesday comedy show night and unfortunately the comedians did not put forth ANY effort to showcase their personal talents. Im assuming due to the small turn out. There was only about 25 guests. Lets give 100% even when you think no ones watching. You never know whos in the midst.

I have been to many clubs in Dallas mostly they charge 3x higher with great ambiance than al Amir. For an absolute vodka which costs 30 dollars they charged 250 dollars and didn’t serve anything but charged 90 for gratuity .They rob customers . DONT GO FOR DRINKS OUTSIDE THE MENU though servers push you .Be careful

One of the best places to hang out in Dallas with friends. Every Friday theres a Bollywood night, which almost every Indian will like. There are also belly dance shows. Make sure to go there before 10 pm otherwise you may have to pay a cover charge of $10. The place is a heaven for Hukkah lovers. Just be extra careful while going there. Wearing mask is not mandatory there and you will find hundreds of people crammed up in a small space without masks, dancing and getting drunk.

Awesome place especially Friday bollywood nights with hookah, Arabian dancers & Bollywood DJ. Food is not that great though.

One of the nights is an international night where they play Indian music and that’s when I went there. I guess it was a Friday. Good crowd, good food and great atmosphere.

This is a super place to be especially for bollywood lovers on Friday night. You have the Bollywood night with all your favourite hits. Apart from that food is good and I will suggest people to try hookah too. Get a good table and enjoy the evening with friends or your date. The belly dancers are great and you will definitely enjoy their performance.

They have rkved common parking spots, they gonna charge $10 for valet parking and $10 entry fee . Higer gratuity price. All prices are very expensive. Never try food, everything is dry

Food here is great! Went on a day when there wasnt any entertainment because I wanted to try the food and judge the place without being influenced by the fun of it also being a club. My party of three, the other two were Lebanese virgins, all greatly enjoyed the food and are looking forward to going back on a club night for the entertainment.We noticed as we were checking the place out there is an aerial acrobatics set-up over the dance floor, so at least one of their belly dancers has some serious acrobatic talent.Will definitely return.

Celebrating a birthday with a group of 14. We got there at ~ 8pm and were promptly seated, which I thought was awesome given the size of our group. The show was fun, included belly dancing with swords on fire! Later that evening the place gets lit...full on dance club. Oh, and the hummus and falafel were delightful!

The service was horrible. The bread was cold and the food was not fresh. I used to love to go there for a good food. Last week was the last time.

I usually do not write reviews anytime but this time I wanted to. Last night I had been to Al-Amir and that is the worst DJ experience I ever had at this place. I have been there yesterday (Friday 05/28) as it is Bollywood night but the DJ guy (probably DJ Sameer) do not have any idea which songs to play. He played almost all Hollywood songs with DJ mix and he thinks that is a bollywood night. I’m so unhappy with the last night experience but I will visit Al-Amir again for sure.

I actually had a great time! I had not been in a very very long time but came out on Saturday. I got there about 10ish pm and thought it was going to be a slow night . Had a couple of drinks at the bar and then decided to get a table. We were a party of 3 and sat there maybe half an hour before my friend had to stop the server that ,mind you ,kept passing us up and down and never assisted. We asked for menus and he gave us copies of the menu In super small print. I actually eneded up with a drinks menu , so I had to share someone elses to order.After a while he came back to ask Where did you get those drinks!? in a tone that sounded that we committed a crime . I told him at the bar and he ORDERED that we close out tab there otherwise we have to give up our table. Which we did because we wanted to eat ...but he never asked if we needed any more drinks either. Another 40 minutes before we had to haul him over (again going up and down without checking on us) so we could order. Their food is pricy ! I got the Spicy chicken cakes or whatever. Was served 3 on top of old lettuce ,pickles and that was it . 2 of them had a bone in them and they were $11 for 3. They were really tasty but damn that price is for a sandwich combo at other Lebanese locations!We ordered a hookah after a while ...and yet again had to stop him like EVERYTIME before to order it . As well as a Yeager bomb and another beer. FYI: The Yeager bomb as well and the tequila shots we were served were WATERED down.The music was ok but we did hear 2 sets of the same mix while we were there and we were there from 10p - 1:30a .We had a good time ,maybe because it was old friends catching up after a year of covid and shutdowns but I wouldnt go again and be served by the same person .I would like to try another night.. maybe Latin night and move to be served by someone else if need be. The busboy had to come and change our charcoal because he would take time to check in on us . I didnt catch his name but he was a bald guy .The ladies In the front, the guy from NY at the door , the bartender and busboy were amazing and courteous but our server was a straight up jackass . At times we wondered if this was a race issue or why he wouldnt serve us like he served all other tables? 🤔

I was here on Friday, and it was Bollywood night I guess. Music was really good ( if youre Indian) they have different types of music on weekends so plan accordingly. Food was okay. Overall enjoyed a lot.

Their beef shawarma is really good, best if you eat in the restaurant! The staff is really nice. & i ordered extra rice and they gave me in abundance

This place had a very negative vibe from the minute that an older man who was smoking a cigarette greeted me at the door with a grunt. The waiter sat me at a dirty sticky table and then took 20 minutes to return with a drink. There were several men smoking inside the restaurant and contributing to the all around feeling of uncleanliness of the place. The food tasted over cooked and old and the bread was cold. When the waiter returned with my bill he took it upon himself to add a 20% tip. What a scam! I wouldn’t recommend this hole in the wall to anyone.

Definitely a fun place to be on the weekend. Drinks are expensive but definitely a good time. You nhave to use valet to park if not you will be driving around for 30 mins. Valet is 10$ I believe. They blocked off 2/3 of parking lot for valet only. Its a busy place. They do have good hookah and sometimes decent belly dancers.

We have enjoyed delivery from this restaurant in the past via services. However, tonight, the pita was store bought in a bag, the delivery was incomplete, and the quality of the food was subpar. The total bill was $100, but the quality was lackluster. I did call and speak to the manager who said he did not not know what could be done. I would not recommend this establishment, at least for delivery. My family will be looking for better quality and value from another establishment from now on.

Its an awesome place to be on Fridays. I went here from the first time back in 2015 and again today my friends invited me to hang out with them for the Bollywood dance night. It was truly awesome. I loved every bit of it. The staff was cool and friendly. People were nice. Music was great. Id like to go back to Al-Amir every Friday.Visited today to eat food for the first time and it was absolutely freaking amazing. Loved everything that I ordered. One of the best Lebanese restaurants in town. And the best Lebanese food I have tasted.

No social distancing, none of the employees have their mask on. Not a great place to visit during the pandemic

Person claiming to be the manager of the place was very rude and asked us to leave since the place was very busy. They didn’t have enough servers and were not treating customers with respect. They said that they can’t serve water after 10 pm as it’s busy.

They charged 20 dollars per person at the door to get in. The vibe wasnt that great inside, and the DJ was less than entertaining.I gave 1 star however because the service was atrocious and completely lacking in any sense of hospitality. I also just realized today (and its why I went to leave this review) that they forged a number on the gratuity because I clearly remember tipping 1 dollar for 2 weak crown and cokes and awful service, yet my card was charged as if I tipped 8$. DO NOT COME HERE

This place is really awesome. They play all kinds of music and have belly dancers too sometimes. Food are tasty. They have wide variety of drinks and varieties of Hookah too. Pretty lively environment. Depending on days, they have entry fee sometimes. Sometimes its free to enter. Also, they have a dress code so anyone in their casual outfit with joggers, jordan is a no-go !

Hated the drinks, hated the music. The drinks were either watered down or was overpowered by cheap liquor. The Dj needs a better selection. He played 10 songs on repeat and changed beats every 30 seconds. My dude, please at least let the drop finish. We were there for about one and half hour. Please dont waste your time
