TCA is the worst of the worst, all in one place!It is a company which has been operating simultaneously two kinds of business, one as property management and the other one as a general contractor .Since they are conducting two businesses at the same time, I thought Id be in good hands and theyd take great care of my rental properties, but indeed I was totally wrong.I have had several properties managed by TCA since 2015 and mostly were under rental. TCA would selected any renters and allowed them to rent anywhere between 6 - 10 months did not carefully scan the tenants; This led to breach of rental agreements and unpaid rents of 2 -3 months. In addition, a large balance of unpaid water bills up to $1500. Let alone with above mentioned items, I had to pay out of my pocket more than 10 grand for each renovation when tenants moved out.Moreover, during their leasing period, I had to pay constantly for repairs, including one time almost $400 that was paid just for toilet fixing, instead of $280 if a new replacement was installed by Lowes or Home Depot.During the whole time doing business with TCA, I have my own experience which Id love to share with homeowners out there:In order to get more in house improvement business from property management business, TCA is willing to accept any renters applications even though the renters do not meet all of the criteria. All TCAs concern was to get tenants moved in immediately without conducting a full evaluation.I was a victim and hopefully this message goes out to all homeowners who are thinking about use TCA for their investments.

This is an absolutely horrible company to rent from and I would highly advise people to stay away from them. Aparently they believe that the best practice is to belittle their tenants over the phone. They have their maintenance performed by a sub-par contractors who only perform half of what their are there to do, leave with the project uncomplete, send you a fee even though the work was not done, and never come back to finish it.

I am a renter for this company. They have unexperienced employees that work for them. I have asked to have 4 different things fixed in the home at 4 different times. They have to come back at least 2-3 times for everything that I have asked to have fixed. The last time I made sure I was home to inspect before they left to make sure it didnt happen again. He left without inspection and didnt fix the issue. I called to complain to the owner of TCA. Mr. Curray stated that he would have someone out the next day. Got a text earlier this morning that it would not be completed due to someone testing positive for covid and that everyone had to quarantined. Why is there a Currayy Van across the street and the gentleman driving is not wearing a mask and not quarantined. I will not renew my lease and will never rent from TCA again. Just say you dont want to fix it. Whats terrible is the home owner has no clue on who is poorly managing his home.

I had leased a property from TCA Property Management Company a while ago, and am very happy now because the house owner just switched to another management company.TCA is just a rip off! My grandkid accidentally dropped some napkins in the toilet and got it stuck. I was aware of the tenants responsibilities due to the negligence. I called TCA. They sent their own maintenance tech to come over; but instead of installing the new toilet that would be easier, with the average cost just less than $300 (labor & materials) in Home Depot or Lowes, TCA later billed me $375 just for getting the napkins out of the toilet. I still used the same old toilet afterwards.Then I found out later about TCA besides being a property management company, they are also a home improvement company. It explains everything to me now!

This review is specifically for Holly Circle Townhouses under TCA. I know nothing about the rest of the company.I lived in one of the 1000 sq. ft. townhouses for ~18 months at $900/month (rent has since gone up but not by much). Patrick McGrady the owner was always easy to talk to, as was Debbie at the front desk and the maintenance men I met (several of whom were relatives of Patrick. its a family business). I could tell that Patrick cared about making Aberdeen a nicer place to live (hes the mayor). Sometimes maintenance requests I put in would fall by the wayside, but this has happened to me at much more expensive apartments too, and if I asked again they were nice about it and came within a few hours. We did not pay anything out of pocket when we had ants, they offered to clean our floors after a sewer leak (another tenant flushed kitty litter!), and they were always happy to take care of other problems. They really bent over backwards for us. Its because of this that I felt I got my moneys worth. More rental companies should act like this toward renters.The properties themselves, however, are old and some of them were not well taken care of by previous tenants, but mine did meet my standard of cleanliness after I moved in. I first saw it while the maintenance team was cleaning up from a previous tenant, so when I moved in I could tell how hard they worked to clean it up. But if you are sensitive to noise or a light sleeper, make sure you tell the staff this when you are looking for a place to live, as most of their properties are near the railroad or major roads. We left because of the railroad noise, as I am a light sleeper.If you want a place thats cheap but not the bottom of the barrel, and noise doesnt bother you, I would highly recommend Holly Circle Townhouses.

Ive been living in my house for almost 5 years and havent had any major problems. Tom the maintenance guy is always nice and fixes things in a timely fashion.

Don is great to deal with. Very easy to communicate with and always took care of any issues when we had any. TCA Property Management has been very easy to work with. and are very professional.

This is my first Google review, but this one bothered me so much, I want to make sure other people dont go through the same thing I did!I am moving to Maryland from out of state, and I came up for a week to look for rentals. On Monday, TCA showed me a lovely townhouse that I thought was perfect. I was told that if I applied, it would only take a few days to run the application and if approved, wed be good to go. That said, I applied as soon as I got home on Monday. I then called on Wednesday to check on the application and was told that itd probably be done by Friday or the next week. So I waited until Friday and called back, and it was only then that I was told someone else had applied and been approved. Basically, I had been waiting all week for nothing.This is frustrating because I came from out of state, and I had sort of stopped looking once I saw this place; it left me scrambling to see other places before I left. This is my fault, of course, for not taking TCAs implications (i.e., that I could sign a lease once they approved my app) with a grain of salt. That said, TCA was extremely misleading in having me think for a week that I was simply waiting for my application to be approved when in reality, someone else had already applied and was in fact approved. Not to mention the application fee (for me and my husband) was $80, which I might have thought twice about paying if Id known someone else had already applied before me.Overall, very unprofessional interaction with them. Ill give them the benefit of the doubt that they didnt do this on purpose just to get me to spend the $80 on the application fee, but I still have a very bad taste in my mouth because of all this. I would not recommend this company to any of my friends or family.

I am very unpleased with this facility as I should have read the reviews before inquiring on any of their properties as I see this has happened to others. I emailed them inquiring on one of their properties I received an email back from them 10 minutes before they close saying it was still available and to fill out an application online for pre approval I did so and received an email this morning telling me between yesterday when they emailed me and this morning someone had applied and already been approved, which to me is extremely hard to believe seeing as I was told to apply 10 minutes before closing and received and email this morning when they opened. The thing that makes me the most unhappy with this place is this is the second time they have done this exact same thing to me and I get the same excuse every time. They are unprofessional and I would not recommend.

I had and continue to have a great experience with TCA Property Management Inc. The manager is very hands on. Her and I are every close. We speak often and she is always helpful and addresses my concerns effectively and in a timely manner.

I had to move out of the apartment I was renting from TCA Property Management when I moved to another state but I was there for about a year and a half. I had a really good experience with them. No problems at all.

TCA Property Management made everything so easy for me. On every occasion that applies, they would give notice for walk-through. And when I had questions about maintenance, they got back to me in a reasonable amount of time. For sure rent from them.

The staff at TCA Property is great to get along with. However, when I moved in and had already given notice to my previous landlord I was not informed that the owner could not get to MD to make repairs to her property. I have now been renting the property for 5 months and the only maintenance that has been done were new blinds and Ive been emailing with no response as to when the maintenance will be done. I am very disappointed at this point.

THIs is the suckiest Management company I have ever came in contact with. First the took weeks to review my application for pre approval. They are organized. I don’t recommend renting for them or letting them manage your property!!!

I have dealt with a number of rental management organizations, and this is the WORST. I made several phone calls about an ant problem in our home, they wouldnt return my calls or they would just take a message. It took us over a year to get our AC fixed, and half the time the owner would just come out and make repairs himself because they are worthless. I paid $1225 a month for crappy customer service. The only way I could get things done was to physically go to their office and usually they said they would leave a message, or the office manager would be there but wouldnt have enough decency or respect to come out and speak to me she would just pass a message off. I never missed a payment and we live clean and decent you would think we would have a professional management company at that price, but no. AVOID AT ALL COST.

I was amazed with TCA Property Management when they fixed my heater so quickly over the weekend! They came right, evaluated, and installed a new water heater in a couple days. I am very impressed with the management.

This place gave us the chance we needed to get back on track. Jen Taylor is so sweet and we will be forever grateful to her.

TCA Property Management has played such a huge role and was great part in helping to make my rental home an investment success. I look forward to having many more years to do business with them I have had to move around often with military personnel in the family so it is a relief to have TCA Property Management to rely on.

Great communication and always timely with paperwork. Excellent management company.

Maintenance can be pricey, but you get what you pay for. To date,I havent had to call them back for the same problem twice, and it gets done ASAP. Professionalism wise, I dont see a better company to conduct business with.

Jennifer Taylor is very unprofessional and has made finding a home exhausting! As someone whos in property management to have someone hang up on me and be rude because I questioned being given the run around on filling out an app is downright disgusting! Please DO NOT patronize this company. Jennifer is very rude and does not represent the ethics property management stands for.

When I rented with TCA Property Management, everything about them was very good. I had o issues with them whatsoever.
