What a great company. I had another AC company come out to do a tune up and they told me that the coils needed to be replaced and a few other things. The cost to me was going to be $1000. I was referred to this E & G HVAC for a second opinion. They came out promptly, examined everything, and said that nothing.......NOTHING was wrong. They are so honest and did not even charge me a fee to examine the AC. Guess who will get all of my business and referrals from now on, E & G HVAC. Refreshing and rare to find honest business men in this day and age.

This is tough for me. I know Eithan and the crew work hard but they just completely missed the mark on my place. I blame it on the fact that their fleet of specialists are under trained.I had TWO jobs scheduled. 1.) seal leaking duct boots and 2.) pump insulation into the attic. Here are the issues I ran into.- The specialists did not know how to use the hopper which resulted in longer work and unprofessional behavior (caught on ring camera) banging of the machine and unfortunately chipped my tile.- After chilling the tile (which was caught on Ring camera) they proceeded to deny that it happened.- The workers also made a mess resulting in insulation all over clothes in our closet, bedroom, and living room. It was a sloppy clean up. They also left trash in the attic (water bottles, masks, and paper towels)- The workers covered up soffits, which is key to adequate roof ventilation. When asked about this, they were clueless on the terminology.- The amount of insulated charged VS the amount that was actually pumped in was miscalculated. I was told 1,000 sqft but what they did was about 440 sqft. This was because if they bought 20 bags of insulation then they would get the machine (that didn’t work) for free from Home Depot. They THEN returned the remaining bags instead of pumping resulting in a deal for them, and less insulation for me.- issue that was diagnosed is STILL not fixed. I imagine that when they diagnosed it, they didn’t know what the issue was, just sold some common solutions for older homes. (Reseal duct boots and insulation)- When following up with the owner, he has not contacted me about fixing my tile, checking the work etc. Therefore forgoing his responsibility in my property.Beware. I LOST more money on this job due to cleaners fees, tile repair and actual charge of service. I would recommend just going with another company. I figured a simple and minuscule job such as pumping insulation could be done with a company that had “14 years of experience”. However, I was proven wrong.Go with licensed contractor for the bigger HVAC jobs. Or maybe they’ll read this review and UP the training of their technicians. Regardless, pay the money.

Ethan, our E&G technician, was polite and personable. He explained the problem in easy to understand terms and was candid about our options for resolution with the pros, cons, and estimated cost of each option. His cost estimate was spot on.

I will be recommending this company to all my friends and family. Very professional and took the time out to explain what was wrong and what needed to be done to fix it. Answered all my questions and was quick to response after service was done months later to come look at the unit. Come to find out it was fine husband need to reset our nest. We had the work done aug 2019 and he was wiling to come out the same day or next day to look at the issue. Just amazing. This is what customer service is about. Definitely using them for any and every ac issue we have.

E&G is G.R.E.A.T Our business AC went down, they came same day, and fixed it. They could of easily said it was the coil freezing over, but they were honest, and replaced the fan. Few days later, our home AC went down, so called em up, they came next day, fixed it. These guys are honest, do an honest job, and are competitively priced. Glad I found them!

He doesn’t come out and tell you everything that is wrong at first, he just fixes everything and let’s your mind worry about your life. But if you do want to know what happened with your AC you can ask him and he will explain everything he did and why and even show you firsthand. Unlike the many mediocre and pricey AC servicing vendors in Central Florida, E&G are true pros who know how to troubleshoot and repair a broken or erratic AC system, at an affordable price.If I accepted the findings and suggested (erroneous) repairs made by two other techs from a reputable vendor, I would have been $2000 shorter and my AC would still be broken...I highly recommend E&G.
