My favorite Peacock Alley Matelasse from Bloomingdales needed fraying stitches reinforced, across the scalloped perimeter. I might add that prior to consulting with Victor at Saveway, 3 other tailors stated that the stitches could not be repaired. Victor took on the difficult project and my matelasse looks perfect. Saveway Cleaners is a top-flight organization. I have used them since I moved to White Plains a couple of years ago. I was thinking that I would take my cleaning and dress shirts back to New Canaan where I had lived since 1993. I should have known that the cleaner I used in New Canaan was part of the Saveway Family! Its such a great feeling to have a local business that is so welcoming like the staff at Saveway. Every time I walk through those doors, everyone is so friendly and so accommodating. Today, a young lady from behind the counter ran to hold the door for me as I attempted to enter with my stroller. The quality is there but more importantly, the experience is really enjoyable. I always come home and tell my husband how nice the staff is there! Really a breath of fresh air and so appreciative! Keep up the great work!

On two occasions I had issues. One I arrived a day after the date listed and the clothes werent ready. Then within the next 5 weeks I show up on the due date and they dont have all the shirts cleaned, just a few. They claim a stain needed to be re-cleaned. Their were no apparent stains on any of my shirts. On both occasions I requested my clothes back outside of 3 full business days. I could understand if these were rush, but thats not the case. For the price I would go elsewhere.In Response:Thank you for the explanation , it is appreciated as is the concern over your business performance. To clarify, the credit wasnt offered nor provided as a solution to the July 3rd incident. I had to initiate the conversation and was met with objections from the staff. I dont want it to come across as if the first solution your staff has was to issue it. I had to not only initiate but build a case as to why. If the credit and apology had been offered the moment the mistake was made this would be a non issue.

I still go there but if there was more options for something more reliable and fast, Id probably switch. A few months ago they lost my clothes for 1 week. The gentlemen was sorry about the whole thing but at the end of the day not even a little discount after I had to go there 3 times. Prices are Pretty steep as well.

Everyone at Saveway was friendly and very helpful. Ive been a customer for several years and would recommend for anyone looking for another cleaner. They are a family run business and they make you feel like family when you go there. Great work, great people!

Very friendly staff who always attempt to greet you by your name. Especially for regular visitors, they begin to notice when you come and go. The tailor is also very friendly, and prices are quite reasonable. They apparently have gone green, but I still question all the plastic and metal hangers used in their dry-cleaning operation. Nevertheless, they do their jobs very well.

Great place! Took my shirt in to be pressed & steamed & they got it to me very quickly! & it was perfect. Def take your stuff here.

I agree with the previous review; stay away from this place. Just picked up a down coat which they ruined with the zipper going off the track which they refused to take responsibility for. Also didnt remove all the stains. I was furious! Never going back. After 30 years, they just lost a customer.
