I recently used this company for air duct cleaning. After the service the outside of the vents and ceiling were full of black marks. The paint was chipped on the ceiling of many of the ducts and I was left with quite a mess. As for the dryer vent I am not really sure if anything was done at all. The heating unit door was left off and powered off. When I turned on the air conditioner it was not working but then I realized how he left the unit. I emailed the owner and sent pictures of the mess I was left with and there has been no response. I had to pay at painter $350 to fix all of the damage.

The technicians are good BUT the CUSTOMER SERVICE guy, JOE, is HOPELESS !I have been told that there are multiple partners. I hope the OTHER partner reads this ( and many other reviews ) and does somethign about it.Firstly, they double-booked me despite them telling me that date in the first place. When i moved it out, then the technician never arrived in between the 12-3 slot. I understand that because oif traffic of prev work delayed etc but the guy on the fone, Joe, was behaving as if he is the only guy in the world providing service. He said when u give take a 12-3 appointment, that does not mean they will arrive on time.. I was like H-UH, what is that supposed to mean .But then, he put me on hold & then cut off the fone.When i called back to reschedule because the technician did not arrive, he is like let him arrive and we will reschedule... and then again cut the fone on me. After that, he wasnt man enough to call me again.. no surprise there.I say the technicians are good because they did my work last year but joe is a disaster. I am not going here again.

Got an AC duct / vent cleaning done through them. Oh what an ordeal it was. They first have me a quote on the phone of $178/- then when the technician came in, he said it would be $308/- after taxes. I asked him why the increase and he said that is because of the sanitizing. Sanitizing was just spraying some disinfectant on the vent brush. I asked him not to do that just clean the vents. After some recalc they brought it down to $218/-Then the tech spent quite some time figuring out some drill issues, after about an hour, he said he needs to go to the Home Depot to get some batteries. Understandable, but took an entire 70 minutes to bring the part from a Home Depot which is 5 mins away.Then the technician cleaned 3 of the 11 vents in that floor and started saying I am almost done on this floor. I showed him all the vents one by one. I could see him lose patience. He even argued that he already did the laundry vent though I never saw him go in there. (See attached picture of the dirty vent). I let this pass.Finally after cleaning rest of the vents, he said only main trunk is left. Main trunk is usually the most dirty and which is why they charge a little more for that. So i was hoping to watch him closely. Instead he packed up everything, went to the furnace, opened it and started giving me recommendations, UV light = $595, motor fan cleaning = $250, sanitizing = $125, etc. Est. $1300/-By now i knew what he was up to, so i declined it all. Then he calls his boss who explains the seriousness of the recommendations and it needs to be done urgently. What bs!! Same AC had been running for a year without any problem, and now it is urgent? Anyways, after all this he just started leaving. I asked him about the main trunk, he said that he already cleaned it. How, when??After a lot of arguing, i decided to call the owner instead. The owner said that, even without looking at the furnace area, without looking at the main trunk, we can clean the main trunk through the vents inside the house. Literally his words.They are a bunch of frauds, stay away!

Do not bother to have them do the work. Miserable customer service, missed appointments, they will work to up-sell you for needless other work.I had them install a Electrostatic Replacement Furnace Filter that is metal. I cannot get it out for cleaning and they will not come back to fix it. Missed numerous appointments after I waited 5 hours this week.

Terrible company, they changed the scheduled arrival time and still did NOT SHOW UP!They texted me with an apology and asked me if they could come on another date. I replied yes and they never replied back. I reached out one more time and they still NEVER got back to me.Very unprofessional!

This company is the worse service ever. Stay away!I have never seen a service that terrible. They cleaned ducts and didnt want to give and show us pictures until we signed and they spent most of their time trying to sell us more services.Extremely dissatisfied customer!

Person I spoke to on the phone had no people skills, technician tore Sheetrock off the wall, I emailed about this and didn’t even get a response. Considering this is a no skill service and there are tons of them out there, dont use this one.

We called because we received a coupon in the mail, and realized that our new (old) home was probably in need of a vent cleaning. Daniel was prompt and friendly. Our vents were indeed quite filthy, the before/after photos proved it. He did upsell us a bit, which unlike some other reviewers we did not have a problem with - we could have said no, but the services offered felt warranted, especially when the ventilation system has gone so long without attention. Overall very happy with the service.

The price for the duct cleaning was fair, but at the end they asked if I wanted something. It took less than five minutes and added about $250 to the bill. This left me with a very bad feeling about this company.

Just received a service, had no issues, basic cleaning of air duct has reasonable price. Service provided on time as scheduled, price was as given estimate. Extra services had been offered and as well as recommendation, but its optional and no obligation.

Matt came by and gave me a quick estimate on my home and I was glad to have him do the mold removal and full under home “crawl space “ removal and wrapping up of the crawl space under my home and fixing the holes in my concrete and closing all the vents under my home and also setting up a dehumidifier under my home in the crawl space to keep the temperature nice which it still is to this day. They did a great job cleaning all the walls, floors and ceilings in my home due to a crawl space and house full of mold. I was quoted almost $19000 by another business to do 3/4 of the job that Matt and his team completed at my home for under $9k . It was a long job and some unexpected problems came up but I’m very glad with the end result because now we have a super healthy home and my wife and I are not sick from the mold anymore because it has all been removed. Thanks !

I hired them to clean my air ducts. Similarly to the reviews posted by others they also tried to sell so many adds on which was annoying. The real issue though is that after few days from the time they did the cleaning my husband checked the drip pan of the cooling system in the basement and it was full of water to the point that he had to drain it to avoid further damage. This never happened before and we have had this cooling system for a few years now. We called envirogreen and they said that this might have been caused by a clog that was created as a result of the cleaning. They sent the same technician to take a look. That technician seemed to resolve the problem in that it seemed that there was a clog and that he removed it. Incredibly so he still tried to sell me additional services while trying to fix something he should have checked for when he came the first time. A few hours after his second visit our cooling system stopped working completely and we are waiting for the Hvac (not envirogreen) technician to come and repair it. Thus, we went from a cooling system that was working perfectly to pay envirogreen to basically break it and pay another technician to fix it. In the meantime we are without a/c and it is quite hot. If you are considering hiring them think twice as who knows how many other damages they are capable of causing.

This whole company are scam artists. I used them to clean my vents for the $88 and they quoted me on the phone a little more for a few more vents and my dryer. The Technician continuously tried to sell me more services. He showed me pictures of my dirty vents but who even knows if those pictures were mine or someone elses? Told me that I had water in my air conditioner pan that could cause mold so he needed to add an anti mold cleaning for all my vents. He went on and on telling me all these other things I needed for my vents. He even convinced me I needed a better air filter for $150. I wound up spending over $1,000 thinking at the time I needed all these things. I can’t believe now that I fell for it all. I was watching inside edition a few days ago and there was my technician on TV trying to scam a lady In a similar fashion and I was blown away. They didn’t say the name of the company but I am sure he was my technician from Envirogreen It was the same company I am sure. DO NOT use this company unless you want to be scammed by these guys either selling you services they never do or trying to sell you unwanted services!!!!

Got my vents cleaned out and entire unit restored from previous owners who took no care whatsoever of it. Freddy V was very courteous, informative and cute if we being honest! Haha, great experience and made sure everything was cleaned and in working order before leaving. FYI you can relay this to him but I purposely loosened up the dryer cap just so he can stay a little longer! I highly recommend Freddy V for all services. Also the bosses work with you to make sure you are getting a thorough full service if needed at reasonable price.

Do not use this company for anything else than duct cleaning!!! At your own peril!! The guy was sweet , then we needed the air conditioner cleaned. Came back 10 minutes later to give me a quote!! That would have cost another $500 for another hour of work!!!Another scam!!! Very sad! Very disappointed! Yes Envirogreen. I almost always give good reviews. I’ll make sure my friends never use you. !!!!!

Excellent cleaning of vents! Rodney did an awesome job. Very professional! As always there is a marketing pitch at the end, we however declined. I would recommend.

Had them in my home yesterday to clean out my ducts and unit and David, the Tech, did an awesome job. Great communication and on time for my appointment. Dave did the job efficiently, left the house the way he found it and showed as pictures of his work both before and after.Would welcome Envirogreen Restoration to anyone

My rep Sam was awesome. I was having respiratory issues and when Sam showed us what was happening in our vents we were shocked. Sam has great customer service skills , he was very knowledgeable about our system and he educated us on it. This guy takes pride in his work. Honestly, we almost did not choose this company based on another review we saw but hubby made the decision to try them out along with the coupon we got .The front end Joe was nice to us as well. Well we are so glad we did go with them.

The technician was extremely nice. He was polite and respectful. As for the rest of my experience, a nightmare. I received a coupon in the mail in Bergen County. I see this company is based out of NY. I called to schedule an appointment. I was specific in asking that there would be no commitment after the person came in for a “free estimate” as per the coupon. I was reassured that there would be no pressure to commit. On the date of the appointment, I received a higher estimate than expected. I politely declined service and asked if I could call back at another time to schedule now that I knew the price. The tech put me on the phone with Joe “the manger”. He was rude, obnoxious and acted like he was doing me a favor. He said things like, “you should know how to count your vents”. He told me he allocated hours for this. What happened to free estimate? Customer service was unbelievably lacking. He insisted I proceed or never call him back. He kept saying this service was discounted. Yea Joe, that’s why you send coupons? For a discounted service? Had I been dealing with the tech, I would have likely gone through with the service . Joe’s attitude was so deplorable, I can’t imagine what would have happen if I had any other issue. Wish I would have read the reviews before I booked.

Gave the person in charge three chances to respond and pay me back for breaking my dryer. Even his own guy came out and said it was their faults. I had to pay an appliance person to come out and see that the motor was chipped and would not work anymore after the vent cleaning. Would cost $550 for parts and labor. I was told by technician they would reimburse me. The guy in change told me he had to talk to the appliance person- ridiculous. Called four times and he said he would get back to me. never didi. They lost about six referrals from me-

The individual who serviced our home tried to leave without putting the vents back on. We mentioned that if there was a problem or they didn’t fit to please leave them off. Instead he half hazardly screwed them back and bent several of them. What’s worse is that when i confronted him, he just walked away from me.

Don’t fall for 88$ coupon. You will easily end up spending 500$ for poor job. In addition you will be sold 1600$ of unnecessary services. 289$ for filter replacement, are you kidding me?The technician was a heavy smoker and it took more time to get rid of the smell than feeling of clean air. He did not have basic manners to remove his shoes or cover with booties before stepping on expensive carpets. DON’T TRUST THEM EVER!!!!

*TALK ABOUT A BAIT AND SWITCH OPERATION*It was that time again to have my air ducts cleaned so I decided to reach out to several different companies. Upon calling Envirogreen Restoration (located in Westchester County NY), I spoke to Kevin who informed me of same day availability. He asked how many vents I had in my house and I told him 15. He gave me a price of $160-$185. All was set and they were ready to come service. Kevin informed me the service tech would arrive between 12-3pm and then he called to let me know that they were caught up (understandable) and wont be here until approximately 4pm. The service tech Alfred arrives at 4:15pm goes throughout my home and then comes back and tells me that the price is $290.00. I asked why and was told that Kevin wasnt aware of the 2 units. First of all, I wasnt asked about any units (only vents). I said for argument sake go ahead with the work and so I signed off on this price even though I wasnt happy. Alfred (the tech) then comes downstairs to grab my attention and says he needs to show me something. He shows me the 2 units upstairs and tells me theres growth on one and black debris on the other. Alfred then states he has to get me new pricing. He goes outside for 5 minutes to call Kevin and he comes inside to inform me that THE NEW PRICING ALTOGETHER IS $1,300.00!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Not only was I given 3 different prices but I was told that Kevin was unaware of the 2 units which he didnt ask about to begin with. So what was the tech going to do to the 2 units for $100 extra? The cost was to clean and if it wasnt then that should have been made clear. IF YOURE COMFORTABLE RECEIVING 3 DIFFERENT PRICES AND BEING TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF THEN REACH OUT OTHERWISE STEAR CLEAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

$88 to simply give entry to your home to sell you on some crazy unnecessary services. So they came in with $88 and within 30mins they had the bill up to $2000! Yes $2000. Then after 4 times of me saying NO NO NO, he kept discounting and then a supervisor demanded to talk to me and I simply said this is unreal--I do not want anything other than the cleaning that mind you went from $88 to $400 ( as there was a increase # in vents ) I should have read the reviews.

What an ordeal, the owner of this company has no concept of customer service.First, the tech who performed the job was very friendly and professional, so the following review is not a reflection on the work he performed.I called to schedule a dryer vent & air duct cleaning. I was quoted $173.The job ended up being $70 more than what I was quoted. The tech also attempted to upsell me additional services. When I declined, he asked that I speak with his boss directly to explain why I chose not to have the additional services done. The person on the phone was less than pleasant when I turned down the additional services. I also mentioned that I am being charged considerably more than my original quote, to which he responded that I provided incorrect information to him when I made the appointment.To put that kind of pressure on your staff to upsell that the customers have to decline personally over the phone is an atrocious business practice. To accuse me of providing incorrect information about my own home is equally inappropriate.I will not deal with this company in the future.

They did a good job cleaning our dryer vents.

We decided to have our ducts and dryer vents cleaned. EnviroGreen is amazing. Kevin was very thorough, and showed me the craziness that is aggregating my families allergies/asthma. After almost 7 years, this is what he found living in our walls. I highly recommend them, ask for Kevin.

I Couldnt pass up on the offer of the 88 dollars to clean my air ducts its been over 25 years since I moved into my home and i dont know if they were even cleaned before then. The man joe on the phone was very nice and worked with my availability and had sent a very kind polite man who showed us before and after pictures of his work. I cant believe that was in my house I have very bad asthma. Thank for the great work joe!

I am very impressed with the quality of work the tech named Caleb did! He not only cleaned as scheduled, but also promptly contacted the landlord for approval of further sanitations when he found spore growths inside the vents.The heating vents that were painted over and was hard just to open. Inside them were filled with animal furs, dusts mixed w/danders. The vents looked as though they were never been cleaned since the house was built.I explained to him about my allergies and reactions I have been getting since moving in. He was very attentive and conscientious; vaccumed thoroughly in and outside the worked areas and wiped down the inside. I washed each vent cover and dried before putting them back on.Caleb is extremely knowledgeable and courteous and kind. I couldnt have been happier to see how thorough it was done in person. It really helped set my mind at ease to know we will no longer be breathing in that filths former residents left and the landlord neglected to clean prior to our move-in.The sanitations after physical removal of junks, he used essential oils (thyme, lemongrass...) to kill away spores. It smelt amazing and most importantly, it was natural and non toxic. Never saw a worker with such a level of professionalism, knowledge, strong work ethic, and pleasant personality.Thanks to him, we now feel its safe to walk on bear foot and finally cook and eat food inside!! I would highly recommend Caleb for vent cleaning!! Especially for those with allergies, not everyone is sensitive and knowledgeable around allergies unless they suffer too. Caleb is! He takes it very seriously. I am so grateful!!!

I seen the ad for 88 dollars and thought why not thats cheap!! So I called envirogreen to come clean my air ducts since its been over 20 years since I moved in and it has never been clean. Joe the manager was very helpful on the phone and sent joseph the technician to my home in the morning. Joseph was very polite and just had a great aura about him that made me feel more relaxed because Im alone in the home so it can be nervous having a stranger in my home working. But joseph was great and respectful and did a great job and never left a mess behind him which I was hoping for because I just did the floors of my home. I would highly recommend getting your air ducts cleaned by envirogreen.

Joseph g was our technician and came right on time he was extremely nice and made us feel comfortable right away. He was respectful of our time and home and made sure we knew about the work hes doing by educating us as he works about the dangers of dust mites and how they could create their own allergies through time. I DIDNT KNOW THAT!!! he never tried to upsell us even though we thought that the company would. But not once!! The company honored their price and showed us before and after pictures of all Josephs work. I am going to reccomend joseph and envirogreen to my whole community because of the great service I got. I called envirogreen last week for my air ducts and dryer vent cleaning and got the estimate over the phone. It seemed pretty fair so I made an appt for them to come. Ive been suffering from asthma all my life and I feel like its been getting worst and maybe the dusty vents would be the reason for it. On the day of the appt I received a text saying joseph gamboa is on the way to my house and when he arrived he was very nice and he immediately seen all the dust in my vents and i told him about my asthma problem. He then got a face mask for myself to help me breathe better for the time being while he works to get all the dust out. It made me feel like he really cared about my situation and my health which was something that will always stand out to me. He was so great I tipped him 100$ . He showed me how much build up of dust was in my dryer and I couldnt believe it. I will call you guys every year to clean my vents. I hope joseph will still be with your company cause hes a keeper!!

I would not recommend Envirogreen for AC duct cleaning and would warn anyone considering using them. I paid nearly $600 for a job that should have been $88.00 to have my AC ducts cleaned because there was more work done which I had never requested.

Id give Sam the technician 5 stars if I could. He did a wonderful and thorough job cleaning the vents and ducts. He accurately provided a pre-approval work estimate, walked me through the optional add on services (which we declined), was polite and respectful. The two stars goes to Joe at the home office who requested to speak with me and tried to hard sell the optional add on services after Sam had communicated we declined. After removing the add on services, Joe informed me the pre-approval work estimate was incorrect as the Sales Tax wasnt applied to the duct cleaning portion - huh? Not one to nickle and dime but being pressured to pay for an inaccurate sales tax calculation isnt my problem. Its a software issue that should be corrected immediately. More importantly, the attitude coming across from Joe is rather unacceptable. However, he finally agreed tot accept the pre-approval estimate amount that Sam presented before starting the job. Good luck staying in business if the Home Office treats first time customers rudely.

I would not recommend Envirogreen for AC duct cleaning and would warn anyone considering using them. I paid nearly $300 to have my AC ducts cleaned and they were filthy after the cleaning. They spent more time trying to sell me unnecessary services for another $1,000. I declined the additional services and inspected the unit myself that evening. There was no mold and certainly not a need for a $1,000 cleaning. What I did discover was that return vents I did pay to have cleaned were filthy and covered in a thick layer of dust.
