Working with Cress for our kitchen remodel was a nightmare. They ended the project over budget and over the time estimate. They told us they estimated the project on the high end and assured us multiple times the actual numbers would come in lower. Imagine our surprise when the final cost was 70% higher than estimated. Heather was supposed to design a floor plan for the new kitchen layout but never did. Luckily our cabinet builders were able to create a floor plan for the entire project. We chose custom cabinets from a local business at a price point lower than what Cress wanted to charge us for pre-fab cabinets. I am giving them 2 stars because the independent tradesmen they hired were mostly great. The finishing work is sloppy (we have crooked tiles in our backsplash). Over budget, over time, and sloppy work means we are not considering Cress for our next project.

This was an amazing experience for a kitchen remodel. We contracted Cress to redo out small kitchen. Katie was wonderful. She listened to what we wanted, she worked within our budget. She was accessable and flexible. She took the time to help us create the kitchen that we wanted. Her cabinet installers are exceptional, her electrical and backsplash subs were wonderful. We highly recommend Cress Kitchen and Bath and would use them again.

We had Luxury vinyl installed throughout our entire main level. We did not look anywhere else for our floor because we have been working with Cress for many years They did our kitchen, a bathroom, updates on both and now our floor. We have always worked with Sue. She has so much experience and has shared her wealth of information in helping to make the many difficult decisions for these major projects. We have always been happy with quality products that last for many years.The floor is gorgeous. So happy with the excellent installation that was done with professionalism. The guys were courteous, attentive to requests and pleasant to have in our home.There are so many choices but we have been very happy with Cress.

Doing a kitchen remodel is a huge investment and can be stressful, especially when you don’t know where to begin choosing the best contractor(s) to do the work. We are so happy that we choose Cress Kitchen & Bath. From the beginning, our experience was great. Heather was our designer and listened to what our ideas were and she helped us select the perfect kitchen within our budget. Everyone we worked with from Cress exceeded our expectations. Cress employees are invested in doing good work and having reliable and professional staff represent their company on every level. Communication was excellent and Cress was easy to work with. Our only mistake was hiring our own plumbing and electrical work (thinking we could save money). Although, that piece of the job was done correctly by the other company we choose independently of Cress, we wished we would have had Cress do everything. Trust that Cress can competently do all work necessary to give you the best outcome possible. When we are ready to re-do our old outdated bathroom, we will definitely go through Cress.

Cress Kitchen & Bath transformed my old bathroom into a new awesome place. Due to Katies design my bathroom appears now larger and has the beach look I always wanted. The slab Katie picked for my countertop is truly a wonderful piece and all the elements in the bathroom come together beautifully. Everybody was very professional and cleaned up after themselves. Katie was very responsive throughout this process and addressed any questions or concerns I had. I definitely can recommend Cress Kitchen & Beth!

We put off remodeling our kitchen for some time due to the horror stories we heard over the years. In 2019 a business associate told my husband about the positive experience his mom had with Cress Kitchen & Bath. We decided to check out Cress and ended up using the company for a complete kitchen remodel. It was a great decision for a couple of reasons. First, we are absolutely THRILLED with the results! Additionally, Cress made the remodeling process as painless as possible. Everyone who worked in our home and on the project was professional, respectful and pleasant. If you have been thinking about a remodel, we encourage you to talk to Cress. We would use the company again in a heartbeat!

We hired Cress to provide a face lift to our kitchen, new countertops, back splash, sink and light fixtures. It was so nice to have a professional designer work hand in hand with us in selecting products that would meld with the other elements in the kitchen that werent changing. They worked with our budget and the entire project was laid out on a calendar and those deadlines were adhered to. Very professional from start to finish and we are very, very happy with how the kitchen turned out. Highly recommended!

We worked with Megan to update our kitchen with new cabinets, countertops and backsplash. Megan was extremely helpful in guiding us through the numerous option of material choices, listened to our needs and wants, and helped us create our dream kitchen. Cress has access to abundant choices of products as we discovered when visiting their suppliers’ showroom. Throughout the remodeling process, Heather and Kevin (on-site project manager) gave us daily updates while coordinating all the sub-contractors to make sure all work were completed with high quality and on-schedule. Marty, Joe, Jeff, Dan, and all others were courteous and professional. They even took time to explain how things well and make sure everything was cleaned up at the end of the work day. We had our master bath totally remodeled with additional room from a dressing area which now includes a nice roomy steam shower. Working with Cress was easy and comforting as we knew what to expect when and communication was key. Any and all concerns were addressed (radiant floor heat) and we love our bathroom now. Last summer we purchased a historical loft and chose Kristin and Cress to do the remodel. This was not the first time we have used Cress for updating and remodeling projects so we had high expectations. We are thrilled with the results.The kitchen is fantastic and Gary did an exceptional job with the install as he has in the past. We love the functionality and the storage space.The bathrooms are also great. The master bathroom was a huge project and we are very happy with the much larger shower and use of the existing space.We did have a mishap along the way and Kristin handled it with profession and as quickly as possible. If we happen to have any issues going forward I know that Cress will be there to correct or update as necessary.

We had our Kitchen remodeled under previous management. There were a couple of issues that needed follow up. Sue Boltz, the current CEO, made sure everything was taken care of to our satisfaction and in a timely manner. I highly recommend Sue and her team!

Cress did a fabulous job helping us transform our kitchen into a spectacular award-winning masterpiece. Sues eye for design was perfect as she first worked to understand our style and vision for what we wanted, then she made design and finish suggestions that complemented our vision perfectly. I had the kitchen, laundry and bathroom remodeled and I am very happy with the sevice they provided and also with the products they used. My home looks great!. They responded quickly to my questions and spent lots of time reviewing with me the orders, design, and products. I will highly recommend this company.

We could not be happier with our new kitchen, designed and constructed by Cress Kitchen & Bath! We didnt have a clue how to best maximize our space, or put together a cohesive color scheme that would update but still match the rest of our home. Many thanks to Katie McConnell, a Cress co-owner and project manager for the new design which now allows at least three people to comfortably work in the kitchen at the same time (we were lucky to be able to accommodate ONE before the remodel!), and who walked us through our choices in colors, hardware, and textiles. Katie also coordinated contractors--each of whom was top-notch in their craft--and each of whom was exceptional in cleaning up the mess at the end of each day. (Id note here that Cress also provided a spectacular new tile floor in the kitchen and living room that included a difficult but beautifully constructed half-round tile cut out). All contractors were 99% on time, and when there was a short delay on the horizon, Katie let us know to expect it. Our kitchens completion went only a bit beyond schedule, due not to Cress but to the hardware manufacturer shorting our order by three drawer handles--no big deal! We would absolutely and highly recommend Cress Kitchen & Bath to anyone planning a remodel.

We used Cress for the recent remodel of our kitchen/family room. From our first meeting with Sue Boltz to the final building inspection we were completely satisfied with the professionalism of the team who worked in our home. Sue guided us as we pick out all the materials needed for the job as well as providing a detailed design plan so we could visualize how the new layout would look. Gary, the job foreman, was very meticulous every step of the way, from tear out to adding the final touches. He was dependable, followed through on all requests and cleaned up after every days work so we could still use the construction space until the very end. All the people involved, electrician, plumber, hardwood floor people and stain people were exceptional in their own area of work. All were considerate of us and our home. The construction calendar that Sue gave us initially was pretty much right on schedule with the work. Considering what an impact this type of large remodel can have on a home, we were very pleased with how smoothly it all went and absolutely love our new kitchen!Linda and Norm Finfrock

We really enjoyed working with Katie and Keith at Cress Kitchen & Bath. They were flexible with us and helped us get to a solution that we really liked but was within our budget. Definitely recommend!

I am actually quite disappointed in Cress. My project is semi-simple, my budget is modest but well within the neighborhood of a decent bathroom of a very small size (10k or so). So, they come back with an estimate 9000 over, 19000 total for my 5 foot by 7/8 foot bathroom. Frankly, I did not like the snobbishness of the employee I worked with, and felt no sense of individualized treatment. I have actually never written a review for any product before, but in this case, its warranted. Something about these people really turned me off. I went to Cress in the first place becasue I have long history in Wheatridge and Arvada and really wanted to support my local citizens. But these peoples attitudes sucked in my opinion. They do not represent the community I know as far as I could tell. If they did not want my small business they should have just told me instead of pricing me out. And, it is clear they did not want my business since they have never followed up with me or offered some alternative proposal, So, I say, screw you guys. I am a total pro in what I do, and you are not. You are average performers as far as pre-sales. Also, maybe hire a guy or two in sales, show some diversity that we are all supposed to bow down to these days. Better yet, hire people who are direct, honest, and actually listen to the needs of the client. And, if you cant accommodate the client and their budget, just say so.
