I went there to test drive a jeep I saw online...Everyone was super nice, I drive the vehicle I wanted...I was never told that they primarily sell vehicles with SALVAGE TITLES...I found that out AFTER I returned home to consider the vehicle and looked up the VIN number...Not only did I see what they paid for it at auction, but I saw the before pics from what evidently was a pretty bad accident the jeep was involved in, and of course that it had a salvage title. I was extremely disappointed because I really had wanted the jeep until I saw all that. Only 4 stars because they didnt volunteer that information to me while I was there...they were nice....Obviously theres a market for the cars with salvage titles but not for me when I was taking my life savings to buy my dream vehicle.....Ill be going to a reputable dealership from now on.

I flew in from out of state for a family event and at the last minute was able to squeeze in a visit to Road Runner for a test drive. Omar graciously stuck around late on a Saturday to give me some seat time in a CT6-V, then gave me a full background on where they had acquired the car and what I could expect if I bought it. He even offered to arrange shipping out west if Id made the purchase. Although we were not able to arrive at an agreed on value for the car and I ended up purchasing another one closer to home, I was very comfortable dealing with Omar and I appreciated the time he spent showing me the vehicle and trying to reach a deal. I would have no issues shopping at Road Runner again if they had a vehicle I was in the market for. 4 stars instead of 5 for the inability to move on the price. :)

I bought a car from this place 4 years ago. 2 weeks after buying... the transmission went out. Contacted them and they kept claiming the vehicle was in perfect condition when they had it. If it was... I wouldn’t have had to replace the transmission. Used cars and auto dealers... don’t trust anybody! People will screw you over big time, especially here because every penny came out of my pocket, not theirs. DO NOT buy from here!!!

Went in looking at a vehicle, the salesman was very open sharing the Car Facts. Because of the report, I didn’t want that car. He offered to put me in something else, asked my budget and criteria and put me in a Jeep $3,000 OVER my budget. With no explanation. There were some issues with the Jeep that I asked for more info on and never received it. Followed up a couple weeks later and he said he would email me that missing information and I still haven’t heard from him weeks later. Poor business, unhelpful, just seems like a big scam. Omar was the representative.

This place is horrible they know nothing about cars all they know how to do is take your money and promise to fix things 10 years from now Ali is very unprofessional I bought a truck from there and pointed out the problems before I drove off the lot he told me he would fix it when I bought the truck up there they kept it and tried to make me pay for it I said I’m not paying for what I asked you to fix it was like that when i bought it. In other words they did not help me so I walked away from it this place is the worst in the word beware and do not depend on them to fix anything.

Everything checked out and we made the deal.A couple of days after I got the car I noticed a few minor issue with it so I called up Omar, he was incredibly helpful and got me in right away and fixed all the issues no problem. A salesman named Sam, sold me my Jeep Wrangler in October while leaving the day before I bought it I asked for a couple things to be fixed in the vehicle. Dashboard wasn’t flush and the clips are broken, the carpeting needed cleaning, an oil change and various other things. The day I picked it up he said everything was done and most of the things that were very small jobs ( cleaning and oil were done) I left and was excited to have my new vehicle. Except a day later when I realized that the dash board was still broke I called and they said you already left the lot. And then a week after that they called me because they failed to also charge me for registration of a new plate while I was purchasing the vehicle so I had to come back here and pay for new plates while they wouldn’t even look at my dash. Very poor service. If I would’ve known about the things people have complained about road runner I wouldn’t have done business with them.

Don’t go here, they may seem professional but they are only professional in scamming. They filled out fake paper work and I’m really considering consulting with a attorney. They charged me $2000 than what was agreed, as-well as a longer pay period to pay off the vehicle because of the extra charge. They basically took my down payment and ran. Not to mention I have to put out $1400 more to fix a broken radio. I’ll 100% admit I got taken advantage of. Haram what these people are doing. Please don’t go here, and end up where I am.

I currently bought a 2010 cobalt from them since my 03 Explorer trans went out and I have had no major problems (knock on wood). The windshield wipers didn’t work and they fixed them the next day in under 45 minutes along with my wheel barring before I even left the lot. My boyfriend has a code reader and we coded it when I got home and the only problem that came up was the o2 sensor, we called and they took my car in a couple days later and put in a new sensor and since I haven’t had any problems. The tires are dry rotted so I have made an appointment to put new ones on, but other than listed above, the car runs very well, the inside was dirty although and there is a dent from where the car was in an accident on the passenger side but cosmetics don’t really matter to me as long as I have a reliable car and this one seems to run very well considering I drive a lot and they’re long commutes. The car had very low mileage (43766) which was awesome as well. When buying used cars, you have to be aware that you are taking risks purchasing any used car but I am thankful that the salesman put me in something reliable for a good price.

Purchased a vehicle at this location. I also bought insurance. When I tried to buy new tabs for my vehicle secretary of state told me the insurance that I had purchased through roadrunner was only good for my vehicle.I called roadrunner 4 separate times and spoke to Zach was nice at first and stated he didnt believe they didnt accept the insurance. He also stated that he would call them and call me back when he figured out what was going on. I did not receive a call back, I had to call them back after two days of and he was EXTREMELY RUDE.

Great bang for the buck, as they fixed the car up magnificently. They even gave us enough gas to get back to the Lansing area. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a good used car.

I first visited Road Runner in 2015. I purchased a fair price vehicle. The salesperson Ali/manager and Zac was very helpful. On my last visit, my sales agent Joe was very helpful in securing the vehicle that I wanted. Im driving away with another nice vehicle and would recommend Road Runner Auto Sales in the future.

I was scammed out of my vehicle from these guys I would not refer nobody to them due to me having surgery I got behind in my note , I was One month behind and going on the second month late ..I still had six days to my Grace period days , before they came in took the car. Which led to some more issues later on down the line but if he would not have ever came and took my car when he didn’t have the right to come and take the car the first time I would still have the car . you are entitled to three months behind before they have the right to take your vehicle , they took it being one month, and when I called to get my items out of the car Omar picks up the phone and I hear him saying these very negative comments but then the phone hung up I do believe them comments were directed towards me I just don’t know right now to this day they would tell me one minute the car was up there and I can come and get my things out the car , then they will say that the car was not up there .. so not only did I lose my car, my money, and my items that were left in the car, I just took a very big loss won’t do that one again so be very careful with them make sure you ask all questions the when your payments are due how much time you have and how many months do they give you to be behind in your car note before they come and repo

I Originally posted a great review of the place, because they had asked me to and because at first they deserved it. However I have since had numerous mechanical issues which were a result of an accident that my car had been in before I purchased it when I was assured nothing ever happened to it. Any decent reputable establishment would do something to try and make up for the issues but when I came back with concerns they turned me away. Lies, and all about the sale is what you can expect from this company.

Overall, I must say that I am very satisfied with my service with Kyle today. He was very professional and productive and had me in and out in less than two hours.

Was promised a full tank of gas by Kyle in the process of paying cash for a vehicle. I was reassured multiple times that I would get the full tank. When I picked the car up it barely had a quarter tank. Not only that, within 2 months of purchasing the vehicle Im already experiencing transmission issues. I bought a 2018 GMC Terrain from them on Nov 15. I worked with Sam and Omar. I texted and spoke extensively with Sam and was assured the vehicle was in like new condition. He even said it still smells new. The vehicle showed up at my door and the interior was far from smelling like new and it had not been detailed. The dash had a gouge in it and the windshield had a chip. On top of all that, the Check Engine light came on the first time we drove it and it required a repair bill of just under $1100 (Roadrunner agreed to pay for $400). The first drive after the repair and the light came on again and it has been sitting at the Chevy dealer for repairs for 3 weeks as I still am waiting for the warranty paperwork for the vehicle that I was sold with the vehicle. I have called and texted numerous times requesting the paperwork. I spoke to Sam yesterday and he said he would have it to me by the end of the day. Still nothing. Just called and both Sam and Omar are busy but Kyle would have them call me just as soon as they are done with their customers. I am very close to filing a lawsuit for fraud. Very sketchy company. Like others have said, avoid this place at all cost and be wary of the good reviews posted as I feel they too might be fake, just like this business.*UPDATE* So I have put a total of about 300 miles on the vehicle. I had a $1000 repair initially for a new injector on cylinder #1. Check engine light came on again a day later. Took it to dealer and it needs a new engine at a cost of $7000. I called road runner and spoke with Omar. Basically, he told me to bad, this is your problem now. They are not willing to do anything. The warranty they sell you with the vehicle is worthless as well. Has a cap of $2900 and you have to pay for diagnosis to the point of failure. So in my case, it would cost me $3000 for them to tear the engine apart to show the warranty company that the engine is bad. Defeats purpose of warranty. Now on to the good stuff. I was guaranteed by my sales man, Sam, that this vehicle was not a flood damage vehicle. We are learning more as we go along. Good thing Sam texted me this information because it appears it was a flood damage vehicle. We will be taking this liar of a dealership to court. Run from the dealer. Do not buy from them. The photos attached to review show dried up sand and mud in door jams, caused by a flood, sand and dirt in and around airbox and MAP sensor. The number one rod is bent from water being in the engine.

Recently purchase a car for my daughter (Her First Car). I went in understanding Buy here Pay Here mentality and ASIS .They do a lot of salvage title sales (the body shop next door), my BIGGEST beef is that I was promised services that AT THE TIME were not provided.My Negative review is directed at Kyle , Since the time of my original post I did receive a personal call from the owner, he was very nice and made arrangement for me to get the items agreed to at purchase. I am satisfied with Road Runners solution and Have modified my rating accordingly. If it would have been resolved the first go around my rating would have been a 5.They did the right thing, made an honest attempt to correct and that says a LOT about this dealer. Give them a chance to earn your business !!

These guys are scam artists and thieves. Do not buy from them. They put vehicles back together using zip ties. They damage structural components of the vehicle just so they can cover up cosmetic issues to get the car off the lot. They outright lie about the condition of their vehicles. Most of the positive reviews are fakes made by Omar himself. These guys belong in prison.

This company customer service skills were horrible!!! Well car deal Kyle is. Dealer was not concern with issues with Vechicle once the Vechicle was purchased. Relative was sold a Vechicle that did not start within 24 hrs of purchase. When asked to speak to upper management dealer would not allow customer to do so. Dealer was basically laughing in customer face stating she signed a contract. Yes a contract was signed But within 24 hrs the Vechicle would only DRIVE when you put the Vechicle in Neutral . Please do your research before purchasing from this company. They don’t even give you car faxs on the vehicle which says a lot about this company. They are good for taking your money and selling you terrible Vechicle’s that looks good on the outside but is terrible on the inside.

Lets pretend for a moment you are looking to get a newer car financed. I want you to imagine the absolute worst case scenario that could happen to you as far as auto dealer fraud, customer service, and mechanic work. Imagine a truly jaw dropping situation where you are SEROUSLY taken advantage of and ripped off by professional CONS, owing thousands of dollars on a brand new used car loan for a car that is nearly mechanically useless. Imagine that in your mind. Now take that mental image and understand that it truly pales in comparison to a series of events and occurrences ACTUALLY happened to me in my dealings with Road Runner. Dont be fooled by the nice cars on their lot... For YOUR sake and sanity, go somewhere else. Go anywhere else. I loathe even the smell of the GM air fresheners these people put in their used cars, thats how horrible my experience was with them. What was once merely a mildly bad smell to me (the air fresheners) has now become a disgusting stench in my nostrils that sickens me. You have permission to laugh at that, but its true. That is all I have to say, thanks.

Dont really know how good they are was there for over 20 min and couldnt throw a hand grenade and hit an actual employee. Maybe they didnt want to sell me a truck. Probably cause they saw me pull up in my work beater and didnt want to waste their time with me. Either way missed out cause I hade cash in hand to purchase the Denali truck I called about yesterday. The owner is horrible. Showed them a GTS Mercedes that wasnt wrecked and very low miles and he said they didnt like them! While waiting to see a car that the owner just got done test riding, he said no one could look at it. Went to the other dealership on eureka road and they said they dont sell salvage vehicles like the michigan ave location. Said they werent under the same management just the same owners. I know an AJ whos awesome and this one sucks.

Terrible business. Wanted to look at a car so I emailed them to make sure it was still available. They said yes but wanted me to call an hour before I showed up so they could have it ready. I did just that, I drove the 40 minutes there. When I got there, the car had a deposit on it. The only other car they had in my price range was absolute TRASH. I’d be embarrassed to even show it to a customer. Do yourself a favor and find another dealership, any other dealership would be better than this place. I gave them one star just because the address was correct.
