This is the worst tire place I have been to in my entire life! First time I go there I request 2 bigger tires on the front which they provide me with even though its obvious they are far too close to the suspension(less than 3 mm). This quickly resulted in 2 flat tires 6 months later. Luckily I had been going only 25 miles an hour so it did not result in injury. A tire company should not be putting on tires if they can result in such a dangerous situation. I return expecting to get my tires replaced free of charge this time the correct size, but am forced to pay ANOTHER 250 dollars. That brings the total to $500, poor service, and 2 correctly sized tires. I dont know what kind of scam they are running here where anyone can walk in and request any size tire and they will do it for them without checking basic safety measures. I tried disputing the charges on my credit card, but not to my surprise Mavis Discount Tire lied on their letter about giving me free tires(I have yet to receive anything free from them) so of course the credit card company sided with them. I come to this well known, highly rated business expecting professionals to be handling my car, but I was mistaken. I do NOT recommend this tire company. There is one shortly up the road called ETD tires and Im sure they would treat you much better.

Got out of work to find a flat. Worst feeling after a long day. Came to Mavis with no appointment and they helped me with no hesitation! Found the leak and plugged it up within one hour. Usually I’d have to leave my car over night and as a nurse, I don’t have time for that. Sweetest guys ever and they did a fantastic job! THANK YOU SO MUCH.

Second time I dropped off my car they told me it would be an hour I come back two hours later and they havent even touched it yet. And all they can say is Im sorry were just backed up. My day was great like usual walking into mavis and being greeted by Charlie felt relaxing. I was seen right away and my car was taken care Whittington 15 mins of my arrival. I was out within one hour. I truly recommend this location because of the great service and the beautiful atmosphere. Still waiting for the company to install a Coffee machine. 😄

I got an $800.00 quote to replace the passenger side axle and to replace the axel Seal on the drivers side from Corey and was told most of the cost is for the parts. To save a few bucks I purchased the parts myself From autozone and called Mavis back for a new quote. I was told I’d be getting a call back with a new quote but never received a phone call back. I guess I wasn’t important enough !!! Thanks for the great customer service Corey and team !I’ve called many auto shops around the area and they’ve all told me that $800.00 for this service is way overpriced. I even asked how they cameUp with an even 800.00. I asked for a breakdown of parts and labor on the receipt and did not even get that.Ive been going to valvoline for oil changes but switched to Mavis just because the Manager there was super helpful and an awesome guy. I wish I remembered his name. Not sure if he still works there Bc I haven’t seen him in a while but I will not be returning to Mavis for any type of service.I ended up getting my car repairedFor HALF THE PRICE MAVIS QUOTED ME AND THEY WEREAWESOME !!!Go somewhere else !!

Very positive experience. Easily made an appointment online for an oil change. Upon arrival was greeted by very friendly staff who were knowledgeable and welcoming. The place is very clean and I saw everyone following COVID protocol. Very reasonably priced and was in and out in a good amount of time. I would definitely recommend.

I blew a tire on a trip south to DC, where we live. I went to Mavis, and they told me I also needed brakes done. It was a good price, and I was happy when I drove my car home.The brakes started squeaking on the drive home. I let Mavis know, and they suggested I come in. I wouldnt be there for a couple months, so they said corporate would call me. They called me, got the same information and said the manager would reach out. Someone from the shop called, and got the same information from me, and said the manager would call.The manager finally called and suggested I come in, I told him there wasnt one close to me. He said hed call me back. He called back and said I could go to the one in York, Pennsylvania. I told him that was 70 miles from me, and he said that wouldnt work for me and that he would call back.He never called back.I dropped off my car next time I was in the area. They cleaned it, and it seemed to fix the problem.A week later, it started squeaking again.Its not a safety issue, but the experience has been bad. I wouldnt recommend this place.

I had a great experience today. We had a lot of snow coming down and we made the mistake of purchasing a new tire for the snow blower over the internet.. which came in separate pieces of course, doi. I brought the small tire in knowing that’s obviously not their specialty and they were incredibly helpful. I was in and out within a few minutes and staff was incredibly helpful and understanding. It can be very daunting to go into a shop as someone who has no idea what they’re doing but I absolutely recommend this store.

Probably one of the worst places to go..They will overcharge,they will definitely tell you things you need fixed, that actually dont need any fixing. They will tell you they can get you a specific tire you need then days later while waiting for that specific tire that never comes in..They also have fake tough guys who work there and threaten you..This dump of a place will never get any money from me anymore.. Theres tire stores all over the area,keep driving past this place...

Make sure you do your research about pricing for different parts. This place tried to overcharge a younger woman who was scared and unsure of what exactly was being done to her car, by over $500 for a part that I could buy way cheaper , and for the labor. Glad we did research and went somewhere else.

I’ve been getting brakes/ tires / alignments / oil changes at this location since I moved to Wayne almost 5 years ago. My point of contact has always been Charles. He has been fantastic in helping me decide which service is needed. He is very helpful with pricing and will give you different options. Charles was able to accommodate drop off of a vehicle due to conflicts I had for one of the services. If your looking for a honest and reliable car service this is the place to visit.

Excellent. I had a flat tire. We made an appointment around 10 PM for upcoming Sunday through online app (they work on Sundays which is extremely convenient). Wating time was about 15-20 minutes.

This is the best auto shop Ive ever used. The service is prompt and excellent, and there are no surprises when the bill comes, no add ons. For tires, tune-ups, oil changes, and the rest they are the best.

I had a nail in my tire and needed it repaired ASAP. I called around to a bunch of places in the area that all had long waits, and when I called STS they said it would be 20 min and $14.99. It took them about 20 min just to bring my car in (conveniently right when I was about to leave) and then the guy proceeded to tell me I needed over $500 worth of work. This car is a lease and didn’t even have 30k miles on it. I was brought into the back and though I insisted on not doing nearly as much work as they insisted I needed, I was pretty much scared into putting two new tires on, which they “discounted”. The nail that should’ve cost me $14.99 turned out to be $216. It also took me about three hours, and my car only came out when I asserted myself to the owner. Worst morning I’ve had in a while. When I drove home I noticed the hood of my car wasn’t fully latched down. Now tell me why they would need to go under the roof of my car for a tire issue? 🤔 It seems like they were searching for “problems”. STEER CLEAR-this place obviously was taking advantage of me. I also weirdly got a Mavis receipt, even though the place wasn’t advertised as anything but STS. My brother had a major issue with Mavis after they spent 8 hours and charged him $900 to put tires on his car. My mother in law also had a paperwork issue with Mavis. Had I known this place was really Mavis I would’ve never come here. SAVE YOURSELVES and don’t ever come here.

Battery was replaced that invalidated warranty on Triple A battery. No call was made from Mavis saying battery was the issue. They seemed to never heard of anything about warranties and Triple A batteries. When asking questions to guessing was manager he was rolling his eyes back at me like what I was saying was not important. Will think long and hard about going back there

The team that serviced my car was exceptional from start to finish.

STEER CLEAR OF STS. Very disappointed with my experience here today. I went in for 4 tires on my 2013 Honda Civic. Called ahead, got a price quote no problem. As I am sitting in the waiting room, Luise comes to me and explains my alignment is out of spec and says to protect my investment, I should get an alignment. They had just put my car in the bay, I had walked and looked and there was no alignment machine in that bay. When the car was finished, I asked for the print out of the alignment specs. It is standard practice to get a print out to verify the alignment before and after adjustment. They couldnt produce this. Mind you I know there wasnt enough time for them to do a proper alignment in the allotted time. I went and asked the mechanic on my own how did the alignment spec out, he proceeded to tell me there was no alignment done. At this point I was very upset. I didnt come here to get robbed for $70. I told Luise I wasnt paying for the alignment he adjust my receipt and I was off. In the alignment excitement, I failed to realize he put 205/65 16 tires on my car. My car requires 205/55 16 so now my speed do is off by 4 mph. Very upset, Steer Clear.

I came in and was greeted by Chris. I explained how my front headlights were out, in which he took me in. An hour later, he apologized on why it is taking so long, and that it is not my headlights that were the issue, but the relay. Then, he came back 30 minutes later apologizing that he ordered the wrong part, and that it is on its way in about 20 minutes. About 20-30 minutes later, he explained how its an electricity problem, and that I need to go to a dealership. He also said that I needed new tires, which I got them done not even a year ago. Then, Patrick asked me to pay 54 and some change for labor and diagnostics. I went to my dealership the next day, took them at most 30 minutes to fix both my headlights. I even told them how STS said there was something wrong electrically with the wiring and that is why they couldnt fix it, they laughed. I also asked my dealership if I needed new tires in which they said theyre fine, just needed some air.If you guys do not know how to do a job properly and efficiently, tell me so I can save my money, and more importantly time.

Overall I am very disappointed with my experience at STS. While they were generally friendly in their customer service, I went to STS to have them investigate the source of a problem starting my car, was told the battery may be the issue. I expressed my hesitation as the battery perhaps not being the source of the problem, as it was replaced within the prior 12 months give or take a few. They then said that they would perform a test on the batterys performance, individual cells and their integrity, and the alternator.Car is then reviewed by one of their technicians and approaches me in the waiting area stating that the battery was the problem. I saw no test results, even after asking several STS employees to see them on more than one occasion. Later that day I encountered the same exact issue I had originally brought the car in for. End result problem is not fixed.I called STS back later that day describing all of these details above and then some, and they were in fact accomodating in the respect that over the phone they said to simply bring the car back and well take care of it and make you happy.Brought the car back a couple of days later and even confirmed that I would be doing so with the full expectation of them resolving the problem as they stated they would, or at the very least, refunding me for a battery I most likely did not need!End result-- the technician told me to let it ride as they couldnt address my problem or to bring it somewhere else-overpaid for supply and installation of a battery I DID NOT even require in the first place- numerous hours of my own time lost bringing the car in on multiple occasions with no resolution to the original problem or the test results I was promised in the first placeI will add one last thing and that is, while perhaps it is simply this location that appears to participate in borderline unethical business practices, STS is a part of the Mavis Brand and my past experiences with Mavis stores/service have been generally positive (at least for basic service and tires). I am not on here to bash the company hence my statement above, as unhappy as I am with my experience in the end.. its just the consequence of my honest review it appears that way.At this point writing me a refund check for double the amount is about all the more time I wish to spend dealing with this facility, which is of course highly unlikely and the reason in which I am not including personal details in this review

Very friendly staff who are very helpful and willing to give you a fair deal. They really seem to care about the customer, and they really come and tell you upfront what you are needing and what can wait. They will work to try to get your car or other vehicle done right and do try to get you out in a decent amount of time. I would recommend the staff here and the fact that there is an air-conditioned waiting room with TV and reading material, and there are decent rest rooms at this site.

I asked for the cooling flush. They truly did flush only drained radiator and refilled. Left heater core and block full of nasty stuff. Then they did a brake flush without me asking. A regional manager has contacted me now.

I have been here several times to get quotations on various issues with my car. Every time I ended receiving super high quotation for more issues than necessary and asked to apply for the credit card that they offer in house to help me to pay for the expense.It is almost like they are there to sell you a credit card, and the auto shop is there to just give you a reason to do so.Every time I was able to get my issues fixed at a reasonable price somewhere else for the price that was about 50 to 75% less.I would avoid this place like a plague.If all you need is simple issues like changing tires, oil change or inspect a used car before buying, then the place might be okay. But for issues needing a honest diagnosis and recommendations I will stay away because they are simply not honest.
