Went in to just get my toe nails clipped. I was met by a short answered Asian woman who looked at me as if I was crazy for just wanting a toe clipping? It is a nail salon right? She said she would only do a full pedicure for 30 some dollars. Her attitude was cold and rude. Went down the street where I was welcomed.

I came to Wasilla for vacation. I went and searched a place to get a pedicure and found foxy nails. This shop is amazing. Great amenities such as soda, water, and snacks. The quality of work they did on my feet was amazing. Very quiet and low key. I highly recommend this shop for all services!

I liked my nails alot. But prices were more then i used to pay so i just learned to do my own nails but they are the best in valley not that they are the best.... valley doesnt have many options.

So when I first got there everyone was nice and helpful and they I sat down at my table and i sat there waiting for an hour before someone finally started working on my nails.. the man was super nice and friendly... but they ended up all different shapes and sizes and he didn’t paint the back of my nails so they look like there’s grow out when I just got them an hour ago.. so the people were great but I honestly wouldn’t recommend it for anyone

This is my go-to nail salon I have been a client here for over years and receive services here every 2 weeks or so. Most of the nail technicians are excellent. Recently Ive been seeing because she is very attentive and does a superb job. They have great hours, including Sundays. Although they take walk-ins, I find it more convenient to make an appointment. They have an extensive selection of colors.❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Love this place! Everyone is amazing. Its always clean! Tools are in those sterilized packets and the pedicure baths have the individual plastic covers. Opens at 10 am which is great for a quick mani before work! Definitely a frequent visitor here!

They really go the extra mile. This is the first nail salon I have ever had a wax treatment and hot stone treatment included in pedicure. A little pricey but worth every penny for how you feel when you leave. Made same day appointment; got in within about an hour and a half. Best pedicure I ever had, I would definitely recommend foxy nails.

I just went to Foxy Nails yesterday for the first time ever and am thrilled with my experience. Having moved to Wasilla just a week ago, I thought I would have to spend some time testing out salons to find the perfect place. There is a reason this place is highly reviewed--the salon is clean, the color selection is out of control, the nail technicians are talented and attentive, and management is very invested in their clientele (the owner herself checks your nails to ensure they look impeccable). The atmosphere is fun, friendly, and welcoming. I am so happy with how my nails look and I cant wait to go back :) Thank you Foxy Nails!

This is the only place I will come to. All of them are amazing and take their time to make your nails perfect. The owner does my nails and they always come out perfect!

All salons were booked so I thought I’d just stop in and quickly get a full set done. I showed the owner a picture of what I wanted and he instantly starts bashing the job done on my friends nails (the pic I showed him). I was having surgery the next day so I just wanted to hurry and get them done to pamper myself. I sat down and the guy doing my nails had obviously just smoked a cigarette because his hands stunk! He starts pushing my cuticles up with his OWN nail. Gross! I asked how long it would take and he assured me not long. After bragging about how amazing my nails would look, they were finished with uneven coloring, lumps and WAY OVERPRICED!! I went to go wash my hands and asked where the soap was. Owner tells me “no soap! Here two paper towels”. Ummmm GROSS AGAIN! The salon was so dusty and dirty. With as dead as it was, they had plenty of time to clean but obviously customer service and cleanliness ISNT a concern of the owners and staff at FOXY NAIL.NEVER EVER will I go in there again and I’ll be sharing with everyone the unpleasant experience I received and how I was RIPPED OFF! Please, PLEASE do not go there!

This place has to be the best nail salon in Alaska. They take their time and have great attention to detail. After a full set they also give your hands and arms a deep massage with lotion.

Foxy Nails & Tanning is great, quick service, amazing attention to detail and very sweet. I dont do my nails very often and when I do, Im very picky. I went in for a shellac mani and regular pedi. Im very picky with colors, but with Foxy Nails & Tannings huge color selection and helpful advice I was able to select a color that wont bore me after a few days. I have very thin skin and very thick cuticles, which usually results in a few nicks throughout the manicure and pedicure. I was shocked to see tech get in there and clean up my cuticles so well without so much as one nick! I also get very antsy, seeing as I always have somewhere to be or something to do and never have time for myself. She was very quick, very detailed in her work and left this picky client extremely happy and ready to go in no time! Needless to say, I think I have found my go-to manicurist!

Me and my best friend got our nails done and mine turned out great. Hers were good but had little imperfections. It cost $130 for a full set of Acryllics and a fill in with new shape and color. All and all not worth the price. They are way to expensive.

Today was my first time visiting Foxy Nails & Tanning after reading countless amazing reviews, so I decided to try it for myself during my lunch break. Other places did a horrible job or were unprofessional or unsanitary, I was starting to give up. I have to say I am so happy! The salon is beautiful and clean. I was so relaxed, she did a beyond fabulous job. I have definitely found my permanent home for as long as I live here at Wasilla.

I have spent a lot of money at this establishment for myself, my two girls and a few friends.I too can relate with all the positive and negative reviews. I got to know my nail technician pretty well, and typically pay with a credit card.My last visit I gave her a $20 tip and told her to make sure she got the tip (her husband was laid off), so I was helping her family get through this hurdle, with the tip along with what I paid.My technician called me and stated my comment got her in trouble. Mrs. owner immediately felt that I was talking trash about them. I was informed she was going to have words with me the next time I came in.I told my nail technician, let her have wordswith me. She will not dictate where or how I spend my money. That tip was meant for you.The following day I got a phone call from my nail technician telling me she got fired. I said for what, you’re the best technician I found.So I go in today for a pedicure, there were only two people in the salon, both being worked on for their nails. I asked do you have time for a pedicure today to which he replied, not today. I asked my question again and he said not today. Mrs Owner who “was going to have words with me”, didn’t even look at me.I had my daughter call to find out about a fill and a pedicure and she was informed she can come at 4 o’clock.Very poor customer service, business practice, lack of communication, no visible pricing so the visits are getting more and more expensive and if you take a look around, The owners are the only two that are still left there working.Thank You for refusing my business. I will gladly take it someplace else!

I have been going to Foxy Nails for about 3 years now and absolutely love them! Always so friendly and never pushy. They have cute kids chairs for kiddie pedicures to!

The quality is great! Very friendly and nice. Only thing remotely bad is they are pricey. But quality is high. I wish I could afford them. I would never go anywhere else if I could.

These people dont finished your pedicure, they move on to other customers and dont complete your service. They tried charging me an extra 20 dollars for wax I didnt even ask for when my sister and I went for a standard pedicure. They also wouldnt let me put my own flip flops on because they said I dont know how to put flip flops on without ruining my nails. My response was I put shoes on to get here and my nails are dry. They screwed up my sisters French tips and a 5 year old could have done a better job. They wouldnt even tell us the prices when we came in! They said just pick out a color and sit down and I told them to fix their attitude. What kind of nail salon doesnt have a price list you can look at?! They dont even try to hide the fact they talk about you while they sit in front of you. The only reason I left it 1 star is to comment, these people dont deserve any stars. Find a different place to get your nails done.

After two weeks my nails still looked shiny and new. They didnt chip and my cuticles havent torn at all. They were gentle, I didnt flinch. I will definitely be going back. In fact I cannot wait :)

My daught and myself had our nails done today we payed 98$ for a full set of acrylic nails for myself and a mini for my 6 year old daughters natural tiny nails. My nail already popped off and my daughters nail polish has already chipped almost completely off. Not worth money at all.

Dont go here unless you want to wait over an hour past your appointment time to even start getting your nails done. And when they start they will suddenly stop get up and start doing someone elses nails making you wait even longer before its your turn to be worked on again.

This place is inconsistent and will gouge you at a moments no-notice. My sister had been here before and no complaints. $60 for herself.Now she and mother go for a pre-wedding ManiPedi and she mentions its her wedding, next thing you know, Wham!, $300 bill plus a $50 tip for the techs. (shes a most sweet women) Nothing different was done.I speak with the manager and all she can explain is gel Polish cost more, quoted $60, $70 & $80. Says they explain everything.... But if this is the case why is a customer walking out feeling raped!Please do not waste your time here, there are finer places, even save your money and fly somewhere nice, that has salons who know what they are doing. Salons that will pamper you out of your dollar.

I called and made an appointment for myself and a friend for mani pedis. We get there and are promptly put at pedi chairs and ignored for 10 minutes. Then without saying anything, one guy starts doing my friends feet. He gets to the point where he wraps her feet in the hot wax and towels, then does the same to my feet, then goes and starts working on some other woman and ignores us again for awhile. Then awhile later a different girl comes over and finishes my feet, then my friends feet. If they didnt have people to do our feet at the same time, they should have told me when I called. All in all with the pedicure, it was very slow but they did a decent job. Then the manicure.. again, one at a time. And it was the quickest, most basic manicure Ive ever had. She basically filed my nails and trimmed my cuticles then painted my nails. No lotion, no hand massage, nothing. And I was not given options for different levels of manicures. And then, less than 24 hours later.. ALL of my fingernails were chipped. Every single one. The polish was terrible. And I should mention this mani pedi cost me a ridiculous $92.00. Will never go back.

Most expensive Mani Pedi I’ve ever gotten! I wish I had asked for prices before I stuck my feet in the water. They don’t really understand English either. I asked the one doing my mani 4 or 5 times to please take off my old polish. She just started right up with filing and cuticles and was about ready to put polish on when the main guy came over to tell her what I was saying. Maybe I got them on a bad day, but they weren’t busy and I got right in. Not a fan.

Best place in town to get your nails done

Ive been there 3 times now. First experience, I just got a pedicure. Great experience. Second time, I went to get a mani pedi and I asked for a design on my toes. The design looked like my 9 year old son did it. It was terrible. Third time, I went back for a medi pedi and got a french manicure on my nails and it was terrible. I asked her to fix some of the nails and she wasnt really fixing the problem and just apologized. I was so upset at the bad nail job on my hand, I didnt even notice that there were smudges on my toe nails before I left the place. It was supposed to be a birthday gift for me but turned out to be a waste of $130. I wont be going back.

Im done with Foxy Nails. Smoke break during my pedicure. Charging me an extra $20.00 for a parafin wax that I did not ask for. They are so rude and unprofessional they also put an extra $20.00 on my card that was not authorized. Scammers! I will be getting this back.
