Quick but very quality service. Owner has been cutting for over 25 years. Like a true artist he was able to look at my mop and pull out the masterpiece hidden within. I’m letting my hair go long for the first time in my life and it has been hard to find not just a good looking cut, but also someone who can see how everything will keep growing (and still look good). They are doing beards. Good price.

Brought my two boys in and myself for haircuts, they were great with my kids, quick and the haircuts are just amazing! Even used an old school straight razor to line me up, which is not common these days. Great job Genesis!

I brought my two year old son in for his first haircut. The barber did a fantastic job of entertaining my son, while also giving him a great haircut. What a tough job, but the barber mastered it beautifully. Very impressed! Not only did my son receive a fun balloon for entertainment, but also a fisher price barber tool set as a gift. A wonderful first haircut experience!

Today I ask for a taper fade it was good but when I ask the barber to line me up he pushed my side back hard

The haircut overall is not bad but not what was asked for. My 9 year old is now in tears because the white guy on the left hand side of the front room. Cut it how he wanted and not what was asked for. My bf gets his hair cut here and the Puerto rican guys are the only ones I will let cut my little boys hair here from now on because they do a great job everyone. If I had wanted just a fohawk cut into my sons head I would have just taken him to great clips. Very disappointed after having had great experiences with the other barbers In this shop.

Would not recommend for people with long hair. Shows pictures of people with fades and yet they would not do mine because my hair is long. Very unprofessional. I waited for 20 min to find out that they couldnt give me a fade

More expensive than other places around but your paying for the quality of the cut here. You can wait four hours in the queue at the chair hair hackers down by Fred meyers or you can walk in here wait 15-20 mins enjoy the game and get a quality cut/trim or shave.

Very skilled Barbers, The place is almost always packed with people waiting to get their or their sons hair cut. Regardless theres hardly any wait they have 6 chairs and theres Almost always all 6 stations going so they keep the line moving, I love that they specialize in only men and boys I have 5 sons so it is perfect they can do any and all styles for boys and men. They also offer designs they can do some cool ones, and they can do it very fast although it never looked rushed, I dont think theyve ever made a mistake on any of my boys (unlike great clips total disaster) the prices are competitive and everyone is very friendly I tell everyone I know that has boys to try Genisis

THEY ARE LITERALLY OPEN EVERY DAY 6 days a week come down and get a amazing hair cut even very kid friendly!!! I take my son here all the time

Genesis Barber Studio is a comfortable atmosphere, very clean. Elvis and his staff are friendly, welcoming and efficient. The wait list is expected but not crazy long. They have pride in their work, definitely some talented barbers! We love this shop.

Outstanding cuts and most barbers will trip up with an old school straight shave. All they need are hot towels and the menthol alcohol rub.

Been coming here for 6 months now, hands down best barber shop in the area. The staff is super friendly and professional. I’ve always gotten the exact cut I want from each of the team. They even did a great job on my son’s hair. I’ve never waited in line for more than 15 mins even with a few people in front of me. Highly recommend!

This place is THE BEST barbershop in the valley by a mile. The guys there actually know what they are doing and do it well. The gave me exactly what I wanted and did it well so for that this is where I will go for the rest of my cuts. Im really impressed and cant wait to go there again.

Only place I go to get my hair did, if the wait is five hours... Its worth it to sit there and suffer the packed house for a clean cut. Theyve got it right Everytime. Lifes too short for a shaved head caused by no skills.

My son wanted a star shaved into his head and the guy did an awesome job! Super quick and very talented group. I definitely recommend them if you like clean lines.

Ive had trouble getting barbers in the valley to give me the haircut that I asked for since I moved back to valley. Hence, I had been just using clippers on my head for over a year. I hadnt known this place existed until recently. I went in, sat down, and a great guy with a large gold chain and a boom box gave me the best haircut Ive had in the 13 years since I left Kodiak and the barber I used to go to there (Sue). Absolutely pleased and will be back.

Thank you Miranda! I got a great cut that even my wife liked and she stayed open just for me. My search for a regular barber in the valley took exactly one stop. I would say that the cost is super reasonable, but dont want to be indirectly responsible for a price hike.

I tried this place for the first time today after hearing many recommendations. The service was quick and friendly and it was by far the best and most thorough cut Ive ever had. Will definitely be going back in the future.

Place is very clean and organized and the two cuts ive received are detailed and done well. They dis a great job on trimming my beard. Will be back again I feel as ive finally found a good place in my new Palmer, AK home.

Mens haircuts done right. You can bs about hunting, fishing, or sports if you want. I stoically sat in silence. Would go back and get haircut again.

Crappy service. The owner gave me a bunch of lines on the side of my head by accident than refused to fix them. I’m a hair perfectionist and I look at detail. I wouldn’t recommend anyone going here if they want a decent fade. Drive to anchorage instead.

I go in to this barber studio and as soon as I took a step inside I was told to leave because they were closed, they still had 50 min before they closed. Ill never go there again. Worst barber studio around.
