I am not sure what the other reviews are complaining about. I just had blood work done here; my experience was great. Easy check-in, was called up promptly and taken care of. The ladies at the front desk were kind and did an excellent job. They had to ruble finding my nursess fax order, but didnt give up until they found it. One of the ladies hadnt eaten lunch yet (it was about 1:40pm) I felt so bad, but she pushed through the rest of the patients before taking off for lunch. The nurse was kind and gentle. The blood draw was fast and painless. It was over before I knew it.

Came for a pre-employment drug screening. They open at 8am but don’t start testing until 9am. Hour of life wasted waiting and nowhere on the test form or their website does it indicate that I should wait until 9a. Took nearly 2 hours to get a test done.

The staff are not very competent. I took my 1 year old for blood work and they stuck a needle in without finding a vein. They kept prodding around my poor baby’s arm with the needle so I had to ask them to stop. I’ll have to find another place to get it done.

They are super understaffed. The person in the front is the person who does the blood work, drug screening, etc too. They need to hire more workers. The wait time is horrible.

This Labcorps is horrible. The employees are all incompetent and rude. They don’t know how to communicate or read the lab request from my doctor. They apparently only take faxes. Don’t waste your time with these incompetent people, go to a different Labcorps.

The woman at the desk was kind but the woman taking my sample was rude.

Trash customer service.

Small facility. The first time I got here the rep didnt allow me to use the rest room as she thought I would use the restroom to give my sample. Was rude. Other times the staff was friendly and kind.

They were honestly pretty rude and after checking and then waiting for over 30 min the person at the front claimed that I didn’t have an appointment and that it was going to be a much linger wait. After showing her my appointment confirmation she said “oh well we’ll call you up shortly.”

Everyone knows what they’re doing. No one is sitting around trying to waste your time. They apologize for the wait. But when you have one person working the desk coordinating everything (appointments, confirmations, insurance, processing orders, billing) and one person doing the lab samples/bloodwork (they will take turns!), with a dozen+ people waiting at any given time. you end up wasting a lot of time here. That just means the company doesn’t care about you the patient, or their staff. I wish employers and medical offices who uses them would understand this. After waiting 40 minutes, I had to take off.

Terrible facility. They apparently no longer have email and could therefore not receive consult orders electronically, and required a fax or paper copy of the orders. Here I thought we were in 2021, or at least the 1990s. Pathetic.

Their services for simple blood work were good and standard. I did not have to wait more than five minutes before I was called for insurance information and referral. And then not more than five minutes when my blood was taken. They were just fine. I think people expect hotel like welcome and customer service from a lab. The place was clean.

I went during the Covid crisis for a non Covid test. They took appropriate precautions and i was in and out in 5 minutes.

Terrible place. I waited then was told I had to go to another location. I left and didnt go back. Go to Quest Diagnostics 💯 better

I went there this morning for blood work and within 15 minutes i was done. When i searched for this location and read their reviews ,i was not sure if i should go there, but now they have a new management and they for sure have great customer service and in particular Alexa, she was very professional and held a great smile. Thank you for improving a Lab corp this location.

Slow unprofessional service. I have been here several times just for a simple drop off and each time I am amazed at how slow the service is and how rude the staff get. Location is convenient if you work in downtown but that’s the only positive thing about this place.

Nurse didn’t know what she was doing (based on conversations amongst staff that I overheard). I barely trusted her enough to let her stick me. On a positive note, she did an ok job at sticking me. Some of the staff here is unprofessional as everyone else has said though. I should not have heard some of the conversations I heard.

Theres perfect treatment for customers. I enjoyed the work of the fast lab service.

Don’t go to this location. I arrived 15 minutes before my appointment and there were only 2 other people in the waiting room. I wasn’t asked for my paperwork until more than 15 minutes after my appointment time had passed. And then 20 minutes later when I walked up to check on the status, the receptionist had just started keying in the codes for my tests. I ended up leaving when she indicated that she had no idea how much longer it would take.

This was the best medical facility I’ve visited in DC, by FAR. I recieved really fast service even despite arriving late, the receptionist was very professional and nice, and the tech who drew my blood did a great, efficient job, I would go back here in a heartbeat and really appreciate how kind and patient-oriented this facility is. Not sure why this place isn’t a solid five stars, it really is a great facility.

Took our two children for a blood test. Place was convenient for us, accessible to public transportation. It was in the afternoon, one person ahead of us. Welcome was swift and courteous. After the paper work done, we proceeded. I greatly appreciated how the nurse treated us and especially the children: instructions were clear, calm, with a smile. The children were not easy to handle but she remained focused and not let herself disturbed or irritated: professional and human.

So my wife had a standing order at this location for blood work every other Monday. On 12/7 she was home sick and needed it done at another location. After calling 8 times (you get 1:58 of Thank you for calling Labcorp. We appreciate your business. One of our representatives will be with you shortly and then they hang up on you) we finally got a real human being and they say that, sure, theyll fax my wifes standing order down to another location. This was a lie. They never did. And then once again you cant get them on the phone.So the people at this location are useless incompetent liars. Dont go here until they fire everybody that works there.

Everyone was very professional here. Alexandra was amazing! I’d definitely suggest going to this location.

Very efficient and friendly. Was worried about the low rating but walked in and was served in minutes. In and out in about 15 minutes. For standard lab work they were great!

We called to confirm that this office opened at 8am. We were told it did. Except it didnt, so we joined a long line at 8:18 a.m. (outside a closed door) with our 2 year old son. Mandated blood work that took one minute only occurred after a wait of approximately 25 minutes, despite having been assured on phone that we would be seen quickly.

People are just plain rude. Asides from slow service they operate on limited staff everyday. I have been here several times and I know I should not complaint about it but is the closest to me. Please spare yourself the trouble.

In one word ...... Horrible .... You get a better customer service in a third world country than in this ghetto operation. Just look at the ratings of others and you ll know .

Staff are great or mediocre at being helpful and personable, particularly with kids. When theyre great, its fast and great. When theyre mediocre, its maddening.

My fiancé tried to get a test done here. Scheduled an appointment online, then once she got there, was told she couldnt get the test done because it was too close to them closing (3:05 PM to be exact). The lady was rude and the reasoning was nonsensical. Just plain lazy incompetence. Do us all a favor, if you dont care about people, please dont work in health care.

I had a horrible and stressful experience at LabCorp today (December 1, 2016). They just need to draw my blood and FedEx it to Litholink Lab. I brought all the papers work and instructions given by Litholink. However, the receptionist was insisting that it was missing a tube for the blood. I had to call the litholink. I spent 20 mins on the phone to speak with Litholink customer service agent. This one also hanged up on me pretending she could not hear me. (called twice). Finally, they read the instructions saw I was right, they did not need a tube from Litholink, also they need to send both collections to Litholink Lab. I just hope they will ship it today, as any sample received after 96 hours from the start of collection will be rejected by Litholink. God help me!!!!Note: When I asked how much I will be charged for the blood draw collection I was told $1800 . WOW!!!!

After signing in, The staff at the K street office chatted away like hens for 20 minutes before I was acknowledged and assisted. Not sure who was supposed to be working and doing what for what was supposed to be a quick blood draw.

Bad Service: staff are very rude and takes forever.

The office staff is very rude and treats you like you personally offended them by coming in for service. If you can, try to go to ANY lab besides this one. Also, make an appointment, or go when you have a lot of time, because you will wait a long time before they take you into the exam room.

Very slooooooooow.
