Having a bad experience right now which is shocking. I so love Metronet and in the passed l have had such marvelous service. I had a bad experience today with one repair man that hopefully soon will be resolved.

My internet has been out for 4 days now. Cannot get answers over phone. Getting canned responses. Back in December they erroneously turned me over to a collection agency for a bill that wasn’t even due. No apology. Just grief. Problem is, they are probably the best provider which doesn’t say much for the rest of them.

Rude. Talks over top of you and will not listen to you because they cannot be at fault. I have tried since August to get my Internet working correctly and it wont. I called in at least 4 different times and tried to upgrade my service to no Avail. They were supposed to come out and upgrade my equipment so I could upgrade my service and still didnt do it. Then when I called in to finally get mad and complain about it I had two grown men yelling at me and telling me I was wrong and that they would not help me. The final guy I talked to was a supervisor and wouldnt give me his name and wouldnt let me talk to somebody else because of his rude behavior. I specifically asked to speak to another boss so that they would actually hear me and he told me if I called back I would be directed to him and he would not let me talk to anybody else. I kept telling both of them that this was already supposed to happen and they deleted the comments. There is no way that I had help from the nice guy a month ago to get this fixed and he didnt put any notes in as to what was going on. They intentionally are not honoring the deal they put forth. Do not go with metronet.

Very friendly and they would do anything to try to help you out. It would be nice if we could a got rid of about a 100 channels that we will never watch and just pay for the ones we liked.

Metro net is an excellent service. I had moved about a week ago and within that same week they had somebody here installing a new router box in my new apartment and he had lots of issues from the previous wiring and the technician was able to determine the error and correct it and I had internet by 5pm that day. 👍

Had my instalation canceled without any notification costing me my last vacation day and 5 hours of my day becuase my cousin owed them $94.

Omg service is terrible. Cable never stays on more than 15 minutes at a time then it freezes up. Their customer service is a joke. We asked for a extra 24 hours to pay our bill, in which was current and they refused to work with us and threatened to cut our service immediately. Internet is a joke. Do not do business with these people.

THEY HAVE A TECH WHO IS A THIEF!!!! Had a cable issue in my home a few weeks ago due to a nasty storm that moved through. They sent a tech to my home. He arrived an hour early and then stole $600.00 in cash from my sons bedroom. This after we moved to this area 2 years ago AND took a total of 7 weeks and 4 techs to get my cable hooked up in my living room and bedroom. They over charged me on my bill once.Customer service is a joke.Their high speed internet is terrible, it was constantly going out.Go with Satellite. I HAVE!!!

System completely out. Called the office and all you get is a busy sound. No leave a message or anything. Love paying for something you cant use. Seems to happen a lot.

Worst customer service Ive ever had, and Ive dealt with AT&T and Comcast. The auto payment charged nearly a week early and overdraws your account then they shut you off 36 hours before youre due date. Then charge you a reconnect fee. The wabash office manager is absolutely awful and talks down to you, she also called from a non company phone so the was no record of how I was talked to. They refused to let me contact upper management. Every time I email the company I get a call from the rude manager at wabash who seems to think its all a big joke. Shes actually right the jokes on them. I gladly went back to Comcast. Beware

I currently living in Indianapolis but looking to move to Rome City Indiana. I am looking at a particular property and I need to have good, reliable internet. It is to my understanding That reliable internet has been difficult to get to that home and neighborhood. My husband and I work from home, so if good internet is not available at a particular location, it’s a deal breaker. Period.My question for MetroNet, and other providers is: “your company advertises up to ‘XXX Mbps’ download speeds, can you tell me the minimum guaranteed download speed?”The answer I got from MetroNet was “up to 10MBPS.”I replied with: “OK fair enough, but I need to know the guaranteed Minimum, based on your network and hardware capabilities at connection point to my address, not considering the variables with my network hardware and so on, is your internet going to be able to push 10MBPS at my particular address and connection point?”The response I got was: “Sir, we’re the only internet provider in your area, we have a money back gurantee, so if it doesn’t work, you can send back the equipment and discontinue the services without pentalty.”Me: “OK, fair enough, but your website said internet wasn’t even able in my area, but you’re saying UP TO* 10MBPS, Mediacom’s website says they can offer, without even calling, 60MBPS for the same price, and 100MBPS for $10 more, so before I agree to anything, I will be calling them.”Metronet: “Well, again we’re the only internet provider, so let me get with my tech team to see what Mediacom is able to do.” Me: “OK, fair enough, but it’s not going to change the fact that I am calling mediacom before agreeing to anything with Metronet, so if your efforts are in attempt to close a deal during this call, I wish you wouldn’t waste your time.”Metronet: “CLICK” *hangs up*Not a “thank you, call us back if Mediacom cant provide service” or “we appreciate the opportunity, is there a day/time we can call you back,” NOTHING. Just hung up.Now, I’m looking forward to my Mediacom appointment with an install team to come meet me at my prospective home to tell me what exactly they can provide so I am able to decide if I am able to move forward with this property. What a difference in CUSTOMER SERICE.

I was lured by Metronets promise of !00 Mbs download speeds, great channel selection, and their DVR special. Especially the internet speeds, which would be critical for my household. The service was installed on January 5th, 2015. Between then and February 9th, in one month, I had three service calls to my house because the 100 Mbs internet speed was anywhere from non-existant to 4Mbs. The wireless router was replaced three times, with the same result. One technician spent two (2) hours at the house and replaced everything he could think of, and the service went down the next day. As far as the DVR went, every other day we would get a message that said it was unavailable - please try again later. When I told them I was changing services, and they could pick up my equipment, they said I would have to bring the equipment in. When I said that I felt that paying full price for that month of service was inappropriate, they offered to give me 6 months of free DVR service if I stayed with them. Terrible experience, terrible customer service, completely uncaring manager at the Wabash office. When I took off work to bring the equipment back during their 9 - 5 business hours so they would quit billing me, I ask the manager for the name of someone I could complain to. She would not give me a name or an email, but promised to contact that person and have them call me within the next several days. Needless to say, I never received a phone call.
