It is an organized mess. Trying to avoid the peak times because it gets backed up pretty quick. Over all the doing the best they can with what they have. No complaints

Good experience, fast dump load, but id recommend to wear a mask because of the particles is the air from the trash being moved, not to mention covid 19 particles from other peoples trash. Stay safe and clean

I recycled a 75” TV box worth of STYROFOAM and a few other flat pieces from another furniture box. It cost $11.60 which is pretty steep in my opinion. I think more people would recycle it if it wasn’t so expensive and a long wait in line. I did find out that it is indeed recycled, melted down and repurposed so that’s good for Mother Earth.

The ladies at the pay booth are always nice and very friendly. Guys that guide you are nice as well. So as far as having to go to the dump goes it aint all that bad. Huge and I mean HUGE lines waiting to get in most of the time. Dont plan on a quick 20 min trip to the dump cause youll be disappointed.

Recycling is completely dysfunctional! Regulations restrict the disposal of electronic devices in the trash, but when I brought several such items to central transfer, I was informed by the attendant that most were not acceptable. No VCR, DVD, printers, remote controls, wire allowed.

The people that work there are wonderful, very friendly and very nice. The only bad thing is that there is 2 ways to enter and it causes a huge back up if you are turning left from the turning lane. It should only be one way to get in from the main road. Its very upsetting that people get rude and try to cut in when so many others have been waiting. Its a very busy place but they are quick to get people in and out. Thank you guys for all the work you do.

Always a good time to take items to the dump. They do a good job there. Friendly staff and everyone working to get people in and out.

It is dangerous as hell to get in or out of the transfer station on SR503. Our pickup and utility trailer were totalled by a kid with an iPhone ABD iPad on his front seat. Hit us at 50mph as we were turning into the transfer station, with no skid marks or braking.

Great staff/employees, and pretty cheap, with a full truck bed it cost me just over $15.

Staff is great. Its a weird environment. But, they navigate you through it. Im glad they are here.

Just dont show up close to closing time and you will I have an easy time with lines. The staff are on task and polite.

Full service municipal recycling station. Hardly ever a line to reach the free recycling hanger. Keep to right Lane at entrance. Among pesky recyclables, only colored styrofoam is refused here. Metals, glass, household oils, paints, and solvents all welcome. Huge depot to drop off cardboard. All at no charge.

Went about 2:30pm and there was no wait. In and out in a jiffy

It went fast. I transferred but did not recycle. Throwing things on the ground was hella fun!

Quick and efficient even with limited staff

I load the night before and head in before 7. Can get busy at times but has a live video stream online of the traffic. If it is just recycling you can drive on the right past the garbage line.

Good facility and great staff. I especially like that they added the live stream camera at the entrance so that I can check their website and see how big the line is before I start heading that way.

As of this posting, theyre doing driveway work, etc. and there is NO SIGNAGE on the Street. Drove.Right.By...

Easy peasy. Make sure you check the website or call ahead to ensure you can drop off what you have. It is more affordable without surprises. I dropped off old kitchen cabinets, pretty much the whole kitchen. Plus some metal as well. The line wasnt too bad, and the wait was normal about 20 minutes. But once I was in the warehouse it was a quick dump and drive out. Staff were friendly and made it a smooth experience. I will return as needs arise!!

Self Serve Trash & Recycling Center for Clark County. Well laid out. Bring your trash and recycling in separate trips since they route you to separate buildings.

Friendly/helpful staff at the recycling area!

Very crowded this morning, long line both directions, but if your patient and take turns youll get in. The directed people through as fast as possible. Not everyone wanted to take turns though.

Line moves quickly, just remember right lane is for recylce.

It is very busy most of the time. Although they do manage to keep traffic moving at a reasonable pace, they love to do things quickly, safely, and in a orderly manner. I have never had any struggles or problems with this Central. No need to hesitate or feel skeptical about leaving your garbage here, youll be in and out in a flash.

Dropped off some cardboard and Styrofoam at the recycling area. After I got past the line to get in it was quick. It would be great if they could add a turn lane off of 503. Otherwise, pretty fast.

They are always busy with the line going into the street all the way to the Winco sometimes. But the staff are really cool 😎

Need 2 lanes open as busy as they were. Employees very polite and helpful.

Everyone working at transfer station try there best to keep traffic moving in and out. I dont know if is COVID-19 or Clark County growth but the last three times May - September 2020 on either Friday, Saturday or Sunday around 10:00 am. the line has been long and extends out into road traffic blocking south bound, right lane, traffic. Be careful if you decide to go during these days and time. Each time, in line, it was about 40 minutes wait before I spent 5 minutes unloading garbage and materials from back of my truck. Five stars for employees doing the work. Two stars to the organization running the transfer station for not addressing and planning to accommodate the increase in demand.

Not too bad getting it. Very efficient once you were in to the dump area. Getting out was a little more difficult because of more traffic. They really need two entries and two exits.

If the line wasnt always so long I guess Id give them a 5 star... They take your junk...you pay by weight. They allow you to recycle stuff no charge. Period..... Everyone seems helpful and respectful.

Always go there with the expectation for a wait. Very busy. But very well run. Vehicles are moved through as fast as possible. No complaints.

I was pleasantly surprised this morning. There were only 3 vehicles in line when I arrived at 8 am. Thats unheard of. I just had a few items and was out of there and back home in 20 min. I hit the jackpot this morning for sure!!

I was able to get in and out quickly, very organized and well managed operation. Good price to dump waste.

They need to work on traffic control.

Been here two days in a row and both days were fairly quick and consistent. Staff was friendly and helpful with questions. Hopefully I dont have more trash to take but if I do Ill be back again.

About the only thing that would be better is shorter lines. Also, at the entrance, they should paint the driveway with lanes and perhaps a 30 yellow diagonal striped area to designate a no stopping area so people dont turn in to the line until enough space to clear the sidewalk with their vehicles!

Always a good time! Got a good Pokémon here while my husband unloaded the trash. The people are nice here.

This is our local dump. The people are friendly, its never too crowded, and its easy to use.

Pretty good. Office ladies are always nice.

Pro tip - take plastic grocery bags to tie on your shoes before you get out of your rig, unload your junk then hop back in and their them on the ground, clean shoes!

Not a long line today. Had to bring back one or two things, not recycle able and could not dump with the oil still in it.

Its a transfer station so not much can be said other than the staff is quick and very nice.

Depending on when you go, be prepared to wait in line. I went at 11am on a Friday and waited on line for about 20 minutes before actually pulling inside the building to offload. Bring your credit card... they dont take cash. Also, bring disposable shoe covers to prevent tracking the unbelievably smelly liquid grime from the floor back inside your vehicle. Very helpful, friendly staff.

Fast and clean

With all the new families moving in to Clark County, you need to add some facilities , so you can accommodate all of the influx of people. An hour and 45 minutes in line.

The staff is great. In and out within 15 minutes most of the time. I usually go 2-3 times per year. Reasonable prices and the wait usually is short.

I love that you dont have to wait in the line to recycle.

Typically well orchestrated during busy times. Free tv, BBQ, and PC monitor recycling is a big bonus! No complaints from this returning customer

Had a trailer full of leaves, pine needles and such. At the booth was told it’s good for yard debris. After unloading and coming back to booth I was told nothing but given the fee of garbage, until I asked why it’s so much.... only then did she tell me “oh....yeah, you were charged for garbage because they found some dirt in there”I talked to the supervisor and he said I can’t help you in any way. It’s ridiculous

Just another dump that is designed very poorly and over crowded. This place is overpriced like crazy.

The place is a dump (literally) but the staff are professional. Gets crowded sometimes and traffic can be a pain but they do what they can to keep it moving.

Had to get rid of an older fridge and stove and it was much cheaper then locating someone and then they charge three times as much...have to load your own and off load as well...truck is a prerequisite as well.Good times as well...

Huge line so I was worried it would be a long wait. Not long wait at all and staff was nice.

Employees taking money wearing masks, talking thru glass expects u to hear what they are saying and then become smartasses when u couldn’t hear and then start talking about u when behind the glass, real professionals!!! Never friendly when u go thru and I go thru a lot. Wish there was another place to go close to me!! Lame customer service

The waiting was not massive, it was a breeze.

Does the job and havent had a bad experience there. The people had been professional as well.

Wish they had two entrances one got real the other for recycling. Sucks to wait for all the trash people to weigh when you just need to drive past them.

Thankful we still have somewhere to take waste during these changing times.
