Terrible service at this location. I reserved a truck a week ahead of time and when I arrived to pick it up they did not have the truck I reserved. They never bothered to call to let me know or arrange for one at an alternate location. Then we were told it was available at another location 30 minutes away and it would take 5 minutes to transfer the reservation. After driving 30 minutes to the new location we were told the reservation hadn’t transferred yet and it could take up to 45 minutes to transfer. Poor service by company overall to manage the transfer quickly.

DON’T EVER RENT FROM BUDGET TRUCK RENTAL!!It was a miserable experience.The truck was filthy. There were no pads or hand truck as paid for. They charged me for an underage driver instead of an extra driver. Before I left home, Customer service said the drop offsite had to fix it. When I drove 1,200 miles, the drop off site said the pick up site had to change stuff and now it was too late. I have now spent 2 1/2 hours on five different calls ( one hung up on me). I think I got my money back but I won’t know for 5 or 6 days when I can check the credit to my account. Horrible Experience!!!!

I ordered a truck a week in advance of needing it and when I went to pick it up I found out that it wasnt there because the person using it never returned it. There was no backup truck to use and no solution besides having to drive far into Portland. The only solution they could provide was to cover the gas to the trip to Portland and even then I seemed petty for not just dealing with it.I decided to go to the Andresen Uhaul instead. It was the same price and they had multiple trucks left to rent and were professional. Uhaul had multiple workers available and didnt seem depressing like Budget either.Listen to the other 1 stars too for this Budget. Other issues are that there hours are terrible and they have nobody available for most of the day and all the weekend. My issue came from having a truck that was for a pickup on a Monday and the person who had the truck I was going to use was supposed to return it the Friday before. If they would have had someone working on the weekend or some way to notify me somehow that the truck wasnt returned it would have saved me a lot of time and stress.You can also tell that the people working there just dont care at all. Again, save yourself problems and avoid this place.

Was pretty excited to find this good deal online plus a first time users discount! I set my reservation for 1pm, the last available slot, and when I showed up at 1:11, oh the location is actually closed! So that’s weird, right? Why set a pickup time for when the location is closing? I decided to call customer service to see if I could switch the reservation to a location that was open, but they couldn’t find my reservation! Not under the confirmation number, not under my full name which was used to make the reservation, not under my phone number. Okay, so I just won’t use you guys. But two days later there’s a $50 charge on my credit card? How? No reservation right? Didn’t use the truck right? So I call customer service and guess what? This time they can find my reservation no problem, and yes they can see I have a $50 charge for not canceling the reservation. WHAT THE ACTUAL F*CK DUDE. This place is a scam, the employees should find new jobs and be ashamed they worked for the company in the first place.

There were 3 employees in the office. They had no other customers.  They had no cargo van for me. I confirmed 3 days prior that all was a go with my reservation,  which I was confirmed it was. I originally made the reservation April 15th. The 3 men in the Vancouver WA office had no acceptable alternative for me. They would not help me by calling another location.  They were rude by saying, you call. They made remarks that they dont build cargo vans. They told me  not to tell them what to do, when I ask them to call National. It was the worst treatment I have ever experienced from any company. They refused to help me reschedule.  I flew in from Kansas City for this cargo van. My brother drove me from another  town into Vancouver WA to retrieve the cargo van. This is a mess. Made reservations for a truck and dolly and dolly wasnt available. I had to walk out to the truck alone..There were a lot of trucks on the lot and he made me search for the truck. I also looked in the back and realized the dolly wasnt there! Customer service rep was very uneducated, didnt go over any paperwork, didnt walk out to the truck. Cancelled reservation because he said Id have to drive to a location almost an hour away!!! He also said he asked for carts days ago and never got them. I should have been told in advance they were out!! Awful company and customer service, go anywhere else!!!! Do not go here!!!!!! Waste of time!!

Great for the price

Decent rental price and initial customer service was “ok”. However, I had multiple people moving items in and out of the truck. A mattress we were not using was left in truck. Rather than calling and letting me know (I live right down the road) so I could go get it, they charged me $108 “cleaning” fee.When I called about the charge, not even knowing what it was for, Austin, who argued about giving me his name and claiming he was manager, thought it would be smart to be rude and sarcastic with me about it.I ended up calling customer service, got $45 back and he’s being talked to by management.Will never go to that location again.

Customer service at the desk could be better and the trucks are average. I chose them because I got a great discount through Budget Costco Truck rental being a Costco Executive member.

I had a very high profile move to do and relied on Budget in Vancouver. I rented 2 trucks and even received a confirmation letter. As a highly recommended moving company, my customers have high expectations. When I showed up to get my 2 trucks.... not a single truck in the parking lot. When I went in to talk to the man at the counter I had to wait for him to finish his personal phone call before finally helping me and then was very short with me, telling me that he had no trucks for me. Even when I showed him the confirmation letter, he smirked and said that there was nothing he could do. He gave me a card with the managers number. I called and called and left voicemail after voice mail. Ghosted!! These guys are crooks and dont care. Do yourself a favor and rent from a company who actually has trucks. And what ever management reads this,.... dont send me a customer service number or an email to write a letter because thats a joke too!!! You guys are complete idiots.

Never, ever had a problem with this location. You need to realize that this store does NOT own its fleet of trucks. They rely on customers returning the units on time and in rentable condition. They also rely on a dispatch center located out of state to make sure the trucks reserved are on site and ready to go. This is virtually impossible to do efficiently. Hence the fact that people show up with reservations and no truck. Its not like the guy behind the counter doesnt care, this is his lively hood. You dont rent, he doesnt get paid. Its a stupid system but thats how they do business. Like I said, I have never had an issue with this location.

Waiting for call. Could not fill gas due too leaking gas line to tank. Cost me gas to spill it at the GAS station on the ground. Leaky celling drenched several boxes. Had to make 3 trips because size of truck not what we reserved or asked for. Height much lower. Broke several tall shelve units because of height difference from what we needed.

Giving them one more chance only because the pick up and drop off center makes it easier for me but so far this company has been terrible. I have had three reservations now cancelled by this company with basically no notice. Last time I received a call the night prior to the pick up and the reason was mechanical issues. The person who called seemed to not care and was highly unprofessional. Then later I see on my credit card statement that I was charged a No Show fee even though they cancelled my reservation. I have been on hold now on the phone for several minutes trying to get this resolved.Adding another update to my review. This company should have negative stars. I gave them another chance and went to pick up our truck today 6/9/17. Guess what!?! No truck available. No warning, no nothing. A complete waste of our time and money, Worst customer service ever.

This place called to let me know they didn’t have my truck ready not only once but twice, the first time I didn’t mind so much and moved my moving date a week later, the 2nd time I absolutely had to be out by that day in order to turn in the keys to the unit I was renting. I called customer service and the supervisor was rude and inconsiderate, said I’d get a call back in 2 hours or less and I never got a call back. Thankfully uhaul was able to get me a truck the same day. Will never use budget again. I also know of another person that had something similar happen..

Sadly I am unable to give this store zero stars. This budget franchise needs to be seriously investigated to determine if it needs to be shut down or be placed under new management. I called this location at 8 am (opening hours) to confirm a drop off, 47 minutes later Chris answered with an impertinent tone. After getting the information I needed, I told Chris their customer service could use improvement compared to the other locations Ive used. Chris literally laughed and said word for word oh well what can I say were just a local store. Sadly he was wrong. Ive used budget for years and even moved my family to Washington from Texas using one. But after today with Chriss poor attitude, Im sorry to say Budget has lost a loyal customer that will never return under any circumstances. Chris needs to be fired and replaced with someone who actually cares about their customers instead of having an I dont care attitude.

Terrible customer service. Told me on moving day that there was no truck available and they could not honor my confirmed reservation. Buyer beware.

FRAUD! returned the rental on time, they are charging EXTRA DAY. have plane tickets showing I wasnt even in the state at acclaimed time, wont refund.

While budget truck rental system is garbage. It allows you to rent a truck even when there are none available. I got stranded with confirmation letter with the agent saying we are all booked, you are out of luck. Stick with u-haul.
