Top notch team! Each employee I’ve dealt with has been polite and professional and eager to help. Rates are competitive and you get a lot of service for your money. I highly recommend Blue Key!

It took them six days to send an electrician after lightning struck the second unit on the property. That unit had absolutely no power for those six days. The unit we rented through them was infested with ants. This is more so a judgement on the homeowners moral caliber but also a bit of blue keys fault for taking this unit on again after we left instead of fixing the issue. The next renters asked us what to do about the ant infestation so the 6 poisons we used only made them go away temporarily. It is a serious infestation. At the beginning it was very difficult to reach blue key, but thankfully they hired a new worker to combat that frustration. I’m also a homeowner landlord myself so the experience of renting under blue key was irritating. It’s definitely not how I would treat my tenants. It’s a good way to make money but not a good way to keep loyal tenants.

I rented through Blue Key for 2 years and then bought the home we were renting. Everyone I dealt with were very professional and helpful and Torsten was great to work with.I also dealt with Chris Holmgren when I was renting from time to time and he was very nice as well.Overall, Torsten was very on the ball and appreciated all of his help. He put in extra time and effort to help me out, and wanted to say thank you.

After reviewing a number of property management companies we decided to go with this company. I found the owner and his brother very flat, without personality, and retiring. His staff untrustworthy and liars. They denied that I had left messages and it got to a point I would only email them in order to creat a paper trail. We found the company slow to rent our properties after multiple calls. They were unresponsive to inquiries and essentially ignoring request. They would respond to inquiries with inquiries of their own, while disregarding our initial questions. A total disconnect of customer service. Regarding billing we found multiple errors which when we asked out them they were hard pressed to explain them and ultimately they reversed them. This lead us to believe they were totally untrustworthy. We got to the point of being so frustrated with them we opted for early termination after only 3 months. Warning, if are considering a PM company. Review how to choose a PM online. There they will warn you that this industry is full of incompetent shysters, which fits BK, but they will give you a framework to go on. Also be skeptical of reviews (ours too). One site has good reviews on BK others terrible. Reviews can be bought and manipulate.

Blue Key did an excellent job with the managing of our property. Unfortunately, halfway through our lease, the property owner sold the house, therefore we only got to experience Blue Key at the end of our lease, but they were very ethical, punctual, thorough, honest, and respectful. They were very thorough with the move-out checklist and it is too bad that they weren’t our property managers to begin with.They were timely in getting us back our security deposit, etc. as well.Again, you won’t go wrong with this company.

Very poor customer service. Non responsive to say the leas . Brenda was very unorganized and had very much lack of respect for our time window. Submitted an application 3 weeks ago and asked if any other applications had been submitted before us and they say n . Now almost a month later we get a random email after weeks of calling and leaving voicemails stating that they had leased it to someone else. I dont want to call them liars because it seems like its more of just a lack of being able to find decent employees but this was one of my worst experiences with any company ever.

PROPERTY OWNERS BEWARE!I found a listing that I loved and applied for the property. Chris contacted me and asked some general questions making sure we qualified for the home. I told him I wasnt 100% sure about my credit score because I have been a stay at home mom for the last 7 years but my husbands credit score is over 750. He just wanted to be sure mine was over 600 and I told him yes. Chris told me there was an applicant ahead of mine and he was giving them until Friday to make a decision. I havent heard from him since. The office wont answer my calls and advised me that Chis has a busy schedule and I need to keep trying. I left him a voicemail three days ago... We own a home and I would not recommend this company. If your home is vacant, this is probably why. Needless to say I have been approved through two other properties, Sun World and The Management Group, so our $2,000 a month in rent will be spent elsewhere.

Worst experience with a property management company we ever had. Home was dirty, broken window, broken blinds, half painted walls, missing hardware, inoperable electrical systems and much more that were never repaired after we moved in due to unqualified and unprepared maintetance personnel. Total lack of communication. Unanswered emails, phone calls and weeks waiting for repairs. They are always to busy to maintain the home properly. Over 2 years with no inspections. Worst of all they make excuses, lie and blame everyone else for their incompetence. We do not recommend this property management co.

I was a renter through Blue Key -- they were very professional, and did a good job managing what ended up being an acrimonious relationship with the owner of the house. They did right by me, even getting me a good portion of my deposit back when I moved out. Their maintenance and rental portals worked very well, and my requests were addressed within 24 hours of my posting them, every single time. Highly recommend.

I am writing to recommend the services of Blue Key Property Management. I recently signed with them to put my home on the rental market. As a detail oriented person I carefully checked out many of the other local management companies even going so far as to have them come out to my property for consultation appointments. I eventually chose Blue Key for many reasons. They have no upfront fees and are very prompt at returning phone calls and e-mail inquiries. This is in comparison to the other management companies taking at least a day or more to respond and then having upfront rates that ranged from $400.00 to $1200.00 dollars. With Blue Key my home was quickly listed and well advertised with many online venues. The paperwork I needed to complete was both comprehensive and designed to protect both my rights as an owner and the rights of my potential tenants. Blue Key had many showings in the first week and was great at giving me notice beforehand. My home was rented in less than 2 weeks. I am happy to recommend the services of Blue Key Property Management to anyone needing to get their home quickly on the market with the reassurance that it will be carefully managed from that point on.

Blue Key was very helpful getting us into a lease, helping us maintain it, and in closing it out. I really appreciated how they did both the check-in and check-out walk-throughs with us. They even pointed out things I might have missed.I also like their management portal. Its easy to set up rental payments and make maintenance requests.We didnt have many issues, but the few we did were answered promptly within about a day. If we ever move back to the area, well definitely check with them first.

Horrible service for landlords. They are too busy to help you, they dont check to make sure the tenants have paid their rent, they dont collect late fees. they told me not to rely on the rent to pay the mortgage. I ended my contract and then Chris told me he was to busy to give me the tenants money and he has 21 days legally, even though he told me he would do it within a week. Not good service, they also told me they have 500 properties so they cant track anything for me I have to track it. when I asked what I was paying them for Ashley said to maintain your property I said you arent though, all you are doing is making me pay you and not even collecting the rent. horrid service. they were also rude to me every time I called and Chris often avoided my calls and emails.

When you rent a property from them, theyre nice in the beginning. When it comes time to move out, you better hope you put everything down on the inspection form and take a million pictures. We got dinged for a tack size hole in a bedroom door, a small bald spot in the grass, wood trim that was coming off when we moved in, a screen that had a hole on it (when we moved in) The home is almost 30 years old and they were taking advantage of us and the fact that we had already moved out of state and could continue to come up with more things that were wrong with the home, and were already an existing issue. Thats probably how they make the bulk of their money. Their attitudes change when you move out and its time for them to make some money off of you.

We just moved into our second home through Blue Key. They had been so responsive to any maintenance calls etc during our first lease and just so easy to deal with in general that when we needed a bigger home we didnt even look anywhere else. We just waited until they had something we liked and rented that. Torsten, Chris, Lori, and the team at Blue Key are Great and will do what they say they will do.

These guys have been great! They worked with me in the beginning when I was in the process of moving to Washington from a different state. I hounded them and they were kind enough to rent my current residence in the country. Any issues I have had they have addressed with the owner and taken care of it in a timely manner. If you are a renter or an owner this company is very thorough for both sides. They do inspections on the property for owners as well as address any mechanical/electrical/structural issues you are concerned with for renters. Giving this company 3 stars as the person who answers the calls and the maintenance crew are very nice, helpful and respectful. However, we had very bad experiance with Chris and Torsten. Both of them were always very confrontational and made it very apparent they did not care about the law or us as tenants since they could find another person to rent the house in a heartbeat in the current market. Even the property own disliked dealing them. As a potential tenant or property owner, I would suggest you look else were for an honest company.

Chris and Torsten at Blue Key worked hard to make our experience with Blue Key top notch. We werent thrilled to find a loophole in the contract that allowed the owner to sell the house and terminate our lease contract within 5 months of moving in, right as school was starting (Only reason this is a 4 and not 5 star review). However, Torsten made a diligent and good faith effort to help us transition out of the house and was always fair and honest. We wish them the best of luck and would recommend doing business with Blue Key.

We needed to rent a home temporarily while some work was being done to our home. When we contacted Blue Key we were able to look at the home we selected the next day. Torsten understood how important it was for us to find a place to live right away. It was a nice home clean and move in ready. The microwave quit working and Torsten had someone over to fix it within a day or so. We hadnt rented a home for many years and were a little leery about it, but they made it a good experience and I would highly recommend them. They get two thumbs up from my husband and I.

As a property owner, I highly recommand Blue Key Property Mgt. They are very responsive and professional. Extremely quick on the response to any question. Always available. Provided good advices and get properties rented in two weeks or less. I had different property management property companies handled my rentals. But they were not responsive and have lots of fees such as web site fee, admin. fee, truck fee, direct deposit fee, overcharged on maintenance with low quality work. So far I am very pleased with Blue Key. I will switch all rental properties to Blue Key.

When you tell them that there is a n issue, i.e. the fire place does not work, or the toilets clog constantly, there is no response or some ridiculous Wikipedia copy and paste of how a fireplace works. I dont usually go out of my way to write reviews, but these guys have earned this and every other excellent review here in my opinion.Five days ago, my wife and I found a house on Trulia (or maybe it was Zillow) that we were very excited about, having looked for the right place in the area to move to from California for several months. The property looked really nice and seemed a great value. From day one, Torsten gave me a ton of detail over the phone, and was extremely personable and courteous throughout. He was also accomodating and very friendly when my friend, a former realtor, visited with him on Monday (something he agreed to do on very little notice) to check out the house for us.By that evening, my wife and I were filling out applications online and submitting them along with our application fees by Paypal. By yesterday, we were docu-signing our lease.Beyond their being really nice guys and presenting zero hassles or attitude you sometimes get from realtors or property managers, one of the real values in Blue Key is their very efficient use of technology. It is very, very nice not to have to mail a ton of stuff around when youre doing out of state relocation. They had our lease countersigned within, I kid you not, *10 minutes* of my wife and I signing it online. Done.Oh, one more item. I was very pleasantly surprised to get an email within hours welcoming me to my online account, where you can view your rent and deposit, upcoming rent, and setup autopay.Based on my experience so far, zero complaints. I will definitely use BlueKey wherever possible in the future, up to and including having them manage any properties we might one day invest in, when the time comes! Thanks, Blue Key team, for making the wife and I really happy!
