I had my nails done on Monday. I asked the staff that I wanted to get a specific type of set of nails done...I showed her the picture. She looked and said yes we do everything here I have someone who can do them. (she was not able to do them because they did not have the crystals, so i chose something more simple) When i sat down I told the lady to be careful when filing off the dipping powder that I had previously because it was my real natural long nail. She made them super thin and kept burning me. I would let her know and she would keep doing it over and over and would comment you are so sensitive. Also I would politely tell her this nail does not match the other nail and she would say I will fix for you and left it still not looking the same. (In the process of me getting my nails done the costumer next to me was having the same issue but she just straight up stopped the lady and told her she was going to take her service somewhere else and they still charged her 15 dollars) I was in a hurry and did not have time to ask her over again to fix them. When I asked for how much for the manicure she said 75 dollars and I still tipped her 5 dollars. (I have been to other nail salons and gotten a manicure and a pedicure and paid the same price, I felt ripped off but it was my fault for not asking). The lady took 2 hours to do my nails. The next day the nail polish from the French tip of my manicure was chipping off. It has passed 5 days since I got my nails done. I called them to come in so they can fix the nail polish and if they can fix the shape. I hope they can fix them at no charge because the price is way to high for the poor costumer service and for not even a week passing by and the nail polish is already chipping off.

I went in today to get my eyebrows done. I was so happy that they were actually open. Sonny is quick and very skilled with wax lol she did an AMAZING job! Definitely my new wax lady!

Took my mom,wife and little brother here for mothers day..they quoted me 45$ on the phone but charged me 60$ instead..be clear what you ask for..#MIXED/FEELINGS

So long story short..I was here for 3 hours yesterday and the manager was who did my nails. It took her 3 hours to complete. Its like maybe she doesnt do nails that often? Im not sure but she was very rough with my hands. I told her my nails are very thin and to be careful with the drill, and she repeatedly burned me because she was pushing to hard on the drill. I had to mention to many times areas that needed to be fixed. In the beginning, she got mad at me because s they told me 3 different prices. Once on the phone, the next when I got a fill and then this time, versus what they have listed in their store. I definitely would not recommend this place at all...

Absolutely unpleasant experience the place smells like mold!!!!I was told to wait...waited 30 mins then she said she wont take me... than she took me... Ive attached photos of how she did them and me fixing them at home. Would NEVER go back. Than the salon flooded in the bathroom with water. What should of taken 1hr. Took from 6:20 - 8:45 !!!

The people were real nice even fixed my girlfriends nail that she broke the next day for free. High quality work nice people

Best place to get my nails done.

Got my nails done in Monday. It took 2hours Ave some change. Asked for coffin shape and polish set. Told tech that my nails were thin and to be careful. I asked him to build up my middle finger because it was very crooked he just told me he would fix it with filing ( not possible with how small it was already)Drilled my nail to close to nothing, mangled all of my cuticles and now on Wednesday with them all breaking. I will never go back there. Next time I notice they arent apply the acrylic correctly I will be leaving.Upset I was respectful and gave a $7 tip to get 3 days of bad nails and a few months of nail recovery and regrowth.

Linda can do a full, fresh set of solar nails WITH a design in under 30 minutes. On top of that, theyre completely perfect. I used to dread getting my nails done because typical nail techs are rude, get miffed at any modification or preference, and take so long, but I now look forward to coming in. Im always greeted with a warm smile, great attitude, quick service, and friendly conversations. Ask for Linda! Shes amazing! 😍😍😍

OUCH *Edited-THE DAY Of the visit I thought my nails turned out really cute..fairly fast, nice ladies too. I havent had my nails done in 12 years! I was happy with the look however my nailbeds were so sore.I took them off today instead of getting them filled because my nailbeds felt so sore. As you can see..nearly all of my nailbeds have deep sore ridges.No more fake nails for me 😢😔OUCH it will take months for the damage to grow out😢

Linda is awesome. So fast but still does a great job. My daughter and I can both get a fill with her in the time it normally takes for one of us. Give this place a try if you ate unsure of where to go😁

Dont bother with this place. Worst service Ive had in a while. I dont think they understand how appointments work. Made an appointment the day before for 11:30. I arrived a little before and was barely greeted. I stated I made an appointment the day before for 11:30. Then I was ignored for 25min. Decided to ask how long and was told still another 10mins. If I wanted to wait I wouldve just stopped by without calling. Businesses who disregard their customers time is a bad sign. Theyre not worth the prices they charge. Will never go back and I dont recommend it to anyone. There are WAY better places with a lot better communication.

The best in the business!!I have been getting my nails done by Linda for over 5 years and I am always so pleased!! Linda and her ladies are awesome! They are so sweet, and my nails always look awesome, I get compliments all the time! I have been getting full sets since I was 16 and have been to many salons over the years and they are by far the best! I can get a full set, that will stay on and look great, in an hour or less and Linda has my specifics memorized! I just get to sit back and relax! Good service but the lady gave me a different blue color gel and even the bottle had a different number. I asked her about it and she yelled back same color different number but it was clearly a darker blue... I wanted a light blue and she did blue blue. 🙄🙄🙄 not going back.

Finally!!! I have been looking for a nail salon that is friendly, they speak and understand English, listens to what you want and does not try to sell you 14 things you do not want! Sunny did my pedicure today and she is marvelous. I brought my daughter in law with me for some well deserved pampering and both of us are pleased to no end. I expect high standards and highly recommend this salon - and ask for Sunny. 😍

I’m not one to bash on company’s or really go out of my way to make one seem terrible. I sat for 2+hrs for a FILL and I get my nails super short due to work. I mean I get a BASIC acrylic manicure, usually not hard to mess up. Besides the time I spent in here, they jacked up my price at the end, & I have 4 fingers with cuts due to them not being careful with my nails. You’ll pay for a bad time I promise you that. Friendly staff just seems like they need to all go back to school.

I looked at the reviews for this place and saw everyone saying how awesome one of the girls was, but Hana did my nails and she was amazing. She was able to get me the Matte black I wanted and didnt rush through it like Ive experienced at other places. I will definitely be back!

I went in for a pedicure and it was amazing. The lady was super nice and constantly kept a conversation asking if I needed anything. Plus my toes looked and felt great. Ive also got a full set and it was still nice, but definitely recommend something common and simple, or bring in a picture of what you want.

I came in an hour and a half before closing for a full set and i didn’t leave until 6:40! my nails came out super thick and sloppy. i didn’t notice how bad of a job they did until i got home, will definitely come in for a refund! also they cut me multiple times !! i’m very angry.

They take long and don’t even end up giving you what you asked for. They start doing other people’s nails in the middle of yours, and leave you. The nails don’t last.

I was about to leave for a 2 week cruise. I was there 2 hours. I was told an oval shape was too hard, too much work when I realized she intended to give me squares. Absolutely NO manicure prior to acrylic application. During pedicure where the guy was actually doing it right, the same girl spoke to him in another language and I left having only 2 toes properly cared for. No cuticle work. I understand they were busy... but at the end of the visit... I paid 110 dollars...The 2 older people seemed to do a good job, or want to.. but the girl at the front that seems to run things... made it a horrible experience.I will NEVER return.

I needed a chang in nail salon so I called right after work and she was able to get me in right away. Linda did my shellac and fill and just like everyone else is saying she is fantastic. She is very fast and very efficient. I didnt feel rushed, and I really do appreciate her asking if everything looks good through out the service. I definitely will be coming back :)

I love coming to Nail Design & Spa to relax and leave with the most beautiful nails and toes in town. Linda does my nails and has been doing them for about four years. And she is fast believe me. I have never been to anyone that can do such a beautiful job in such a short amount of time. Sometimes Sonny does my pedicures and I feel like I am in heaven.

Clean and sterile environment with kind and caring staff. Lots of techniques including gel and shellac Linda is amazing! For five years she has consistently provided me with the best nails Ive ever had- enough to travel cross town to get there. She is also super fast which is a huge plus when life has precious few spare moments. Comfortable and pleasant experience time after time. AND you can get your waxing done. Win!

Made an appointment for pedicure and manicure for two. We had to wait for quite a while and it took approximately an hour-and-a-half just for foot soak and a pedicure. She then told me that she didnt have time for the requested/promised manicures.Thanks for burning a hole in my Saturday afternoon!!!!!I saw another lady wait for an hour and not receive any service and finally leave.I would only go back for the massage chair I am not really happy with the service, at all! 😑

My mom and I came here for a gel manicure and a pedicure and were so pleased! Everything was so clean, everyone was so nice and spent a lot of time and care to make sure our nails turned out lovely. Definitely will be back!

Sunny has been doing my nails for 3+ years. She does such a great job and is fun to chat with. My gels last until they grow out so I get fills. Price is reasonable too. Very accommodating.

Omg Linda the owner was absolutely wonderful and kind. I called her for an appointment that morning n she got me in immediately. Once there long standing patrons did nothing but rave about the services. Im going to return every two week because she did such a fabulous job just like right out of Hollywood and best part it was under 35 even with a tipThis was a brand new full set now for a few dollars more I will now get the gel but to try her out this was perfect. Some of the ladies there incredibly nice but they reuse tools from person to person with out disinfecting them. I watched two other people behind me have the same tools used on them as they were used on me. Also they dont listen to what you want, you can show them a picture of what you would like but youll end up with jagged, horribly painted nails not even close to what you showed them. Also the place is filthy, mold in the bathrooms, nails all over the ground and overall just not clean at all. Im definitely not returning.

Ive been to a lot of nail salons in Vancouver. This salons prices are slightly lower than most, but does not lack in quality at all. The business is clean and looks nice. You are even offered a free beverage when you come in. Linda usually does my nails and she is fast and accurate. I do acrylic fills and shelac and my favorite thing is that she asks me all along the way if everything looks good so I know Ill get what I want.

I have been getting my fills and pedicures at Nail Design & spa for 2 years now. They spoil me rotten and are very good at what they do. Ive been all over Vancouver, and have settled down with them as MY spa. Prices are fairly priced, in fact lower than most. I highly recommend them for your nails needs.

Went in to get pedi done, and not even 12 hours past by and nails polish began to come off. They have a great friendly staff, but not the quality!!! Never coming back here.

I don’t recommend this place because when they were doing my nails, they cut me. the ending result was like a toddler did them. the nails were uneven, chunky, and bumpy. i told the lady that was doing my nails that there was a dent in my nail, she didn’t care to a point where she forgot and was about to put nail polish on them til i had to remind her again and all she did was shave it down, and now they are slanting downwards. and when i got my eyebrows done, they hurt me there also. so from my experience, i don’t recommend this place at all.

I came in to get a gel pedi/mani and it started chipping within 24 hours. My gel manicure didn’t even last a week. They had really friendly service but I won’t be back.

My daughter and I were walk-ins at this shop on a Sunday afternoon, 2 hours before closing. They had quite a few customers, but most seemed to be near the end of their service, so when they said 20 minutes, I believed them. I told them I would like a pedicure and full set and my daughter wanted her nails painted. Thats it. Just her nails painted.So, 40 minutes later, I finally am sat in the pedicure chair. I sat in the chair, without service, long enough for the massage chair to run two complete cycles.This is all fine and dandy, my husband had dropped us off, so I couldnt go anywhere anyway, but what made me the angriest was the fact that FIVE PEOPLE who came in after us got served before they painted my daughters nails. I mentioned to them several times that all she wanted was her nails painted, but they just kept saying In just a minute.She finally got her nails painted by the lady who did my pedicure. Which was the fastest pedicure Ive ever received. I was not offered my choice of pedicure, but reading other reviews, that wouldnt have mattered anyway.Again, we were walk-ins, on a Sunday afternoon, so I expect a little wait. But an hour and a half after being told 20 minutes is UNACCEPTABLE. Also, my daughter being skipped has me furious.I did not tip, and they followed me out to the car to offer me $10.00 off, which was kind of them, and I told them so, but there are too many nail places in Vancouver to choose from. I dont need to go back somewhere this disorganized.(Also, they did nail art on my daughter, without asking, and she hates it, so now I get to take off the nail polish I just paid for and do it myself anyway.)

I used to come here for Mani/pedis and full sets solars and fills every 2 weeks....I started noticing that most staff had bad/Negative attitudes, each and every time we came here. Let me also say that when I get my nails/feet done I also bring my 2 daughters. Every trip is always over $100... Which isnt the problem...u would think theyd be happy to see me coming in! So I stopped coming here for about 2 years... today I figured Id try again.... once again... majority of staff cant figure out how to smile or small talk. Its also very obvious they r talking about you in a language u dont understand. I made us appointments for pedicures. When I arrived they acted like I was intruding on their time. They told me to have a seat in pedicures chair. The last started working on my feet and never asked which pedicure I would like, so I stopped her to show her that I wanted the extra massage.....she very much appeared appalled like I was asking too much! Very rude... especially the chick that sits closest to front door and appears to run the place. I will not return for a 3rd chance/punishment and I wish u luck if u attempt this place .... very dissatisfied!

If I could give them negative you bet I would! I took my mom here for mothers day, we got the deluxe pedicure so the works, plus a half an hr massage. Normally a pedi is $20 here, for the half hr massage on top you pay double. Normally thats fine. Where to start, my foot bath water was not even warm. I asked them for hot water, they put some in, soon it became cold fast. The door was open and wind was blowing hard enough for the plants inside to move, I was freezing, I has goosebumps. I mentioned that I was cold 3 times. Finally I had to ask them to close the door. The half hr massage that I paid $20 extra for was not good , not at all. She kinda just rubbed her g ands around, no pressure no skill. My cuticles were not cut, my nails were not cleaned up. THIS IS THE REASON TO GET A PEDICURE TO CLEAN IT ALL UP AND MAKE THE FEET LOOK NICE!!!!! I can do way better. My mom didnt get her full massage, her feet were not cleaned up. She still had wax on her feet when we got home. After this terrible excuse for a pedicure my bill was $85 for both of us! The girl asked for the freaking tip. To be nice my mom tipped her! I am so angry writing this as I look at my terrible toes, there is paint on my skin. I wish I could post a picture! Now I have to go freaking pay more money to go get it fixed somewhere else!!!!! I am so angry! Terrible establishment. Trust me this is leaving out everything terrible about the experience!Update! One day later my nail freaking chipped even. I have never had a pedi this bad. They always last at least a month. I want my money back for this bull!!!

I love to go tho this salon . I have linda as my favorite. She is very fast but also makes my nails look amazing everytime. I have been going for about 4 years now .I also like the one lady who has the dog I forget her name she is funny and nice

Disgusting & Dirty.The Nail Tech Tried Using Dirty nail file & also tried to cash me out after being elbow deep in a pedi bath, without washing her hands and NO gloves!!! My polish looked like a regular basic job... Place needs to be shut down!!!

Have gone here twice now and been extremely disappointed both times. This last time was the worst. The lady didnt talk to me at all. She was on her phone with headphones in the whole time. All of my nails are uneven and the paint job is a wreck. My cuticuals werent touched and she got glue all over my fingers!!!! Worst experience ever. Would never ever recommend.

I only came in today because my nail shop was closed. The salon seemed to be remodeled and appearance wise, it looked very nice. The tech had to remove old nail shellac and was very impatient due to being NYE holiday/it was close to the closing hour. She scraped my nails so hard that my skin tore, she did not make me wash my hands before she painted my nails and used the UV light, and the worst part is she tried to use a used file and buffer; which is non-hygienic. I did ask her to replace the buffer and file, which was done, but only after I asked. The manicure was rushed and honestly I did not want to pay. I will never come here again and frankly, I wish I hadnt.

LINDA IS THE BEST. I GET GEL NAILS, WAXING AND PEDICURES DONE AND GET COMPLIMENTS HOW NICE MY NAILS LOOK. I FEEL FORTUNATE TO KNOW HER. I REFER CLIENTS WHO CONTINUE TO SEE HER ASAP WELL. VERY PROFESSIONAL.
