I own several gas operated power tools. There are many places I have gone in Clark Co for parts and service over the past 25 years. If you want warm and fuzzy feelings Harrys may not be your shop. If you want knowledge and experience - although a little colorful a times - you wont go anywhere else.Have I had a dance or two with Harrys team - yeah. Have they always delivered on product repairs and parts support - always. Understand one thing in this day and age - many tools are now throw away. For those of us that buy high quality and serviceable items the support for them and the parts cost have increased. Harrys does a fine job in balancing value and support. Which is no easy task.They have supplied support for my chain saws, weed whackers, chipper and tillers.They are my first choice for new tools and for service. Why just 4 stars ? Always leave room for improvement.

They charge way too much. 65.00 in labor on 20.00 in unnecessary parts. Spark plug was new. Only used the mower 5 times. It could have been used again. Home town feel with what is well over corporate type prices. Sad. Just SAD. Probably did 10 mins worth of work for 65.00. I guess thats how some folks stay in business. Ripping off the little guy.Never again.

Great place to go courteous and knowledgeable staff. Theres another shopper to around but I find Harrys to be the most reputable and knowledgeable honest shop around. It is where I go to get my mowers and machines serviced there a little high priced for the average Jon / Jane Doe landscaper but I truly believe it is worth it.

Had a very hard to start Toro mower so I decided to take to these guys for service. First time and very impressed. They did a full tune up and blade sharpening. Now my mower runs like new again, one easy pull to start. Couldnt be happier!

I buy get through Harrys for work on a fairly regular basis for our stihl equiptment. They have a few employees that are knowledgeable and quick with finding the parts we need. Also ordered parts are usually in store in a few days . There service is usually really good, and good prices as well.

I love living in downtown Vancouver and a big part of that is our wonderful local businesses. I bought my lawn mower and weed eater and Harrys (I dont mind paying more- support local!), but Im sad to say I wont be a customer there any longer. Heres what happened. The lawn mower they sold me breaks (not their fault, its a few years old) and my boyfriend called to ask about repairs. They said to bring it in, they can take a look at it. Great. Twenty minutes later, we show up with the mower. I say we just called about the mower repair. Were 2 weeks out on mower repair. Oh, I thought you said you could take a look at it. Practiacally laughing at us we wouldnt have said that. Then they find the tech in the back that talked to my boyfriend and he aggressively says I said you could drop it off, not that wed take a look at it. Were 2 weeks out unless you want to come in the back and fix all the mowers yourself. No joke, he literally said that. I told him his attitude was pretty hostile for a misunderstanding. We are talking our business elsewhere, and you should too.

Came in asking to replace the deck belt and drive belt. I had my own drive belt, they replaced the drive belt but not the deck belt. So when I get home and go to mow the lawn it doesnt work because they didnt replace the deck belt. They didnt tell me this and I drove 30m each way to get this done. They dont answer their phones and communication is awful. Dont recommend going there.

I gave 4 stars for being Friendly and helpful. Couldnt go 5 cos they didnt have the part for my Rancher 55. Online search says theyre a husqvarna outlet, but they apparently are not. They can order what I need however .Faster for me to just buy off eBay.....

This place was very poor for repairing our mower. We had a mower that has rarely been used, less than a year old, and under Toro warranty. These guys are supposedly an identified warranty repair shop. However, it is probably worth your time to drive to Oregon for repairs. They charged us a ridiculous amount, talked down to my wife and blamed her for the mower issues, and would not even file the claim with Toro. Shame on them. They made their money but sometimes fair service and reputation are more valuable. I wouldnt use them to fix a broken rake in the future!

The only way for small independent dealers to compete with the larger stores is to beat them on the customer experience. I bought a Titan from Harrys and promptly hit a huge bolder the second time using it. I called in on a Saturday to get on the schedule for a repair. That Monday they called me at about 7:45 am. They had it picked up, repaired and returned that same day. I couldnt be happier with their service and wont be shopping anywhere else.

Very good service. Took my lawn mower in because it wouldnt start. Also had them change the oil and fix my drive system on my self propelled mower. It cost me a little more than I wanted to spend on my 15 year old mower but it was still alot cheaper than buying a new one. Then after I got it home I mowed my yard 3 times I noticed my drive system wasnt working on the left side so I brought it back they looked at it right away and noticed it just needed one of the cables tightened up and I was up and running again. I would diffinately recommend Harrys to anyone. Shop is clean and employees are friendly.

Needed a new carb on my Stihl 55R, had some issues the first time, they made it right on the second time and while I hate this cliche , but it actually runs better than when it was new! It was always a cold start b!tch and required warm up, now its pull and go and easy, thanks guys!

Best stihl dealer in Vancouver. I run a tree service (Arborcity tree care) in Clark County. Either these guys are great, or there competition is just really bad. Regardless I only shop here.

Had been taking our lawn equipment to Harrys for over 30 years. The last 2 times for a Troybuilt lawnmower tuneup the price went up quite a bit. They also charged for a blade without calling to authorize it. They had replaced the blade 2 years before and it only needed sharpening. When we asked they just said oh well and we had to pay the extra $100. Will not be going there or reccomend them again.

I am very disappointed with Harrys I had brought an old tiller there for some carburetor work and they kept calling me saying it was going to cost more, cost more, cost more. The final straw is that they told me I need a new points/condensor when they should have already replaced that after their last call three days before. Checking the spark on a small engine is one of the first things you do as a mechanic and the fact that it took them two weeks to do that is just wrong. I wuld not reccomend them to anyone and I will not be going back ever.
