Last time I worked with this agency was December 2019.They gave a welcoming experience and my recruiter Megan was a great amount of help.Megan found me a job at Church & Dwight and Im grateful for that.A month before my contract would have ended I started to have health issues so I called the express office and they were very sincere and very understanding that I would not be able to continue.They asked me if I wanted them to look for another position for me or if I wanted to take a break till I got better.If I had to choose an agency thats great and understanding, this takes the cake.Thank you Megan and all the omployees at express :)

Express Employment Vancouver branch helped me find the perfect career position, and I was able to start my new job immediately after being paired with a local company. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and they made the process of applying and getting started very easy. After working with them, I was hired on as a full-time employee for the company I was contracted with, and I’ve loved my job since.

Was called and informed by them after applying for a job online that I need to choose between the Vancouver or Longview office when Im looking for a job between Salmon Creek and Castle Rock. Longview office told me to call Crista who apparently owns the franchise, and I wasnt put through because her employees said she was busy. All they care about is covering for each other, they dont even care if they find you a job. Fact is they called me this morning and I dont appreciate them wasting my time or phone battery. I can only imagine what they would do if I was actually working for them and called because of a mistake on my paycheck or something! If you so much as complain the employees tell you that you are offending them when you are just trying to talk to whoevers in charge!

I came in to Express absolutely frustrated. I was given an extensive amount of patients. I would like to thank ALL the staff that I interacted with on July 11, 2019. I really appreciated this place the first year and a half of work I was given , but to fire me right when COVID hit and I was coughing blood at work . Never got a cent of unemployment either . Thanks for lying to unemployment you guys are awful

I am a property manager at a local apartment community and I received a call from Krystal this week. She was simply reaching out to see if there was a way she could help any of our residents who might have fallen on hard times. With the rental market the way it is, she understood the struggles with income that many in our community are having. I was so impressed by her initiative and how inviting she was in our conversation. Hi, This has been the ONLY employment agency Ive found that authentically wants you to succeed. Megan, Alex, and Natasha have spent great efforts to help me land a job and, hopefully, a commensurate career. Not sure what the company is paying them; but it aint enough. This staff is a blessing.

So far, my experience has been great. You (Alex) have been incredibly responsive and quick to reach out as soon as I updated my application on the Express website (looks like its been over 10 years). After talking to you on the phone, you did great on asking me questions and really listening which is super important. Best of all, despite my confusing answers, you were still able to make sense of what I was wanting to do! Then coming to the office, everyone was super nice. Letasha was extremely friendly and did great on asking me questions about what I wanted, my expectations and great if questions to get a feel for what I was looking for. Despite me being indecisive, she was very patient and kind in working with me. Afterward, Alex quickly found a fantastic job opportunity that I feel matched what I said I was looking for but figured I would take on a different challenge to see how it goes (since I officially got hired on by a company in Portland doing something completely different). Regardless, my expectations were definitely exceeded by the team at Express and would like to continue working with them to find a second, graveyard shift, opportunity and will definitely stick with Express if the current day shift employer doesnt work out

Im glad that most reviews for Express are positive ones, but I had nowhere near the same experience. I walked into the Portland office to seek employment (which was a great experience!) and was told that Id be kept in touch. However, after not a single call or email, I was then contacted a week later by another recruiter asking to be a resource for me as if I never signed up with them. I played ball and told them what I told my first point of contact.Again, no contact for another week until ANOTHER call by ANOTHER recruiter asking to help me find employment. By this time, I was fed up. I told them I no longer wanted to be contacted as it seems nothing is being done.Finally, just today, I received an email from a recruiter in the Vancouver office saying that although you no longer wanted to be contacted, I do have a position you might be interested in, so apparently my wishes to not be contacted just didnt matter.Again, Im happy that people are finding work through Express, I just wish I had the same level of professionalism and competency that many claim they received.

Express was very friendly from the minute I walked in the door. They were able to place me on a temporary assignment the day I applied with them. Meanwhile Stacy Lees was very diligent in forwarding my credentials to other employers more closely matching my specific job search in my chosen career field. Ultimately within a couple weeks Stacy found me a perfect fit! She negotiated with the employer way past my expectations and got them to settle on an hourly wage $3.00 more than I had even requested. I was shocked to say the least! I ran into Aaron, a rep for EEP in Safeway this morning. I explained to him that my son recently moved to the area and has had difficulty finding a job. Aaron was kind, knowledgeable and very helpful and I left our conversation feeling like there was a light at the end of the tunnel for my son. The staff in this office are not efficient! The way they seem to “forget” about the employees who work in the field is disappointing. After 10+ hours dealing with this company and never actually being referred to a job, I threw in the towel. The process is cumbersome and arduous in jumping through their hoops.I kept receiving e-mails from no-reply style e-mails. I called and asked if they could have one person e-mail so that I could have a specific point of contact, know who I am dealing with and easily respond back. They declined. E-mails were constantly overlooked and it was hard to effectively communicate. I never made it past the receptionists.Another issue: they asked me to an Excel test. Ok, no problem. I take it, do above average...then what? I had to call them to tell them I took the test they asked me to take and then they did not even follow up. Its like, What was the point of taking the test if youre not going to respond? I never even talked to the original person who asked me to take the test. It was constantly talking to someone random person each time, with each interaction, with one person not knowing what the previous person had said. They were completely unorganized. This was a complete and utter waste of time dealing with this company.In an area with a plethora of staffing companies, this one falls short of what a good company should be.

When I went in for my interview, I was helped quickly and with such fantastic service. The whole office was smiling and welcoming, and it really made the job interview process feel comfortable and less stressful than a typical interview. I met with Tanesha, she got me a job the same day, and I couldnt be happier with my placement. I know its going to be a tremendous long term fit for me. Plus they give away free stuff all the time!! :)

I dealt with Eric and he was awesome!! Anytime I had a question or a concern I could email him and I always got a response. He took the time to find me a job that was just the right fit for me and my skills and made sure that it wasnt just a temp job but a spot that I could become a permanent employee in. Complete waste of time. I kept giving them chance after chance to prove me wrong. They tell you one thing and do another, consistantly. No trust in a future with them. No follow-up. They promise you a job and give it to another. Maybe favoritism, maybe?

They did not get me one single job that match my experiences or any around Vancouver area I went to their several times and they told me will give you call.... or call to check I did and the person I call everytime trying to avoid me by not their or our for lunch. I am very disappointed. Ive been looking for job opportunities they should do their job. I do look for myself on many companies unfortunately they refer me to employment gancy. Not this one . Next time I go to different one because my time is wasted.

About a year ago, the Express in Woodland, gave me a job to start on Monday. So I gave my notice at my current job. Then Express told me that I was not hired after I signed all the paper work. Now, about a year later, I tried the one in Vancouver, next to Safeway. They told me they had a job for me so I filled out all of the paper work, again, which took 3-4 hours, including the drug test. Then after they made their quota, they told me the truth and gave me the true hours of the job, that they knew that I couldnt do in the first place. SO they lied to me again, to get me to sign up again. I wont be their fool a third time. Both offices are running around trying to get people in the door with false hopes. That says a lot about management. Now I have only a few hours to get sleep for work. Which they knew I had today. They should make 0 an option for stars...Im just saying.

Was offered a full time position and summoned in Tacoma to interview. Office is gaudy and PACKED at all hours. Staffers are petty, curt and nasty. The cute girl at the desk is nice but the recruiters are rude or completely nasty. I never got their names either. I didnt realize this until I went back into the waiting area and saw a guy walk in late. The whole office sounded like a war zone after that. I can understand them simply turning him away but the girl interviewing me really tore him down. This energy is too negative. Express has been okay elsewhere but this office doesnt deserve employees. The recruiters lack social skills and I overheard one of them say how they absolutely dont care about anyone coming in. This is a waste of everyones time. AVOID!!

Just wanted to give a shout out to Krystal, Kylie, Levi, and Nan, as well as all other Express Staff members at the Vancouver office located on 114th Ave. They have been sooooo helpful, understanding, patient, very friendly, and eager to always talk with me no matter what circumstances I have gone in to see them for; whether it be for their advice, knowledge, work options, needed time off, or job placement. There have always been smiles, appreciation for staff, thoroughness, and welcoming conversation, with motivation to get me into an available position as soon as the same day if I wanted to accept. Being new to the area, i had gone to Express a little over a year ago, completely frazzled, anxious, hopeless, depressed, SCARED, and extremely frustrated with trying to figure out employment and the really annoying and time consuming online job site application processes. I am so thankful Express was there to help ease my worries, and reassure me that things would work out. The staff I have coordinated assignments with have all taken charge to relieve all the stressors I have dealt with when seeking either short-term, long-term, or temp-to-hire employment that would suit me. They have allowed me the freedom to take or leave jobs without question, and have been supportive during the times I needed to take several weeks off at a time. She had me do testing, one week she said she scheduled me for an interview but had to wait to send the email, and the next week said unfortunately the position was full. and than gets back to me to tell me she can put me in for the next training class and said she will schedule me for noon on monday. Today over two weeks of going back and forth she calls 30 minutes before they close to tell me the position did not consider me for a candidate because I have no customer service experience. I have been in customer service pretty much my whole working life she should of came up with something more. The person who told me about to job was out of work for 4 years and they hired her! All of this mess could of been so much faster if she would of just sent my resume over the first time she said she scheduled me an interview.
