They hired me for an electrical testing job at $18.50 an hour. Confirmed that was the job I was hired for at the jobsite the day of my orientation. My first day of work they said there had been a mistake and that I was actually going to be working as an assembler for $16.50 an hour and that there was nothing they could do. I wasnt very happy about that but its still decent money so I said fine. I worked for almost 2 weeks before I was pulled out of work told I was doing a great job but they had to let me go because my background check came back unsatisfactory. I have only 2 misdemeanors on my record and neither are very serious. I said I have no felonies or serious crimes and they said i was told you have 3 felonies. Again, nothing they could do. They completely screwed me around from day one.

Adecco always provided great places for me to work. And to counter Hamlets post about them taking advantage of immigrants and always cancelling your jobs before 90 days that is false. His perceptions on how the hiring process works is flawed and he doesnt understand the system or hiring process by contract. The employer Adecco sends you to at has the choice whether to hire you and to buy out your contract after 90 (or whatever time_ or not hire you. They choose whether or not you remain at the job, not Adecco. Adeccos job is to find you a job, match your skills to a company and get your foot in the door, not keep your job. That is up to you whether your an immigrant or not. If the Company doesnt not renew your contract they notify Adecco to let you go. This is the nature of temporary work. Most of the time it is the employer not Adecco who is underhanded and not seeing value and saving a buck.

Adecco gave me a good job that I am happy with. I liked working with Nick. He also helped one of my family members get work. Thank you

Unprofessional. Underhanded. They hire disadvantaged/immigrant types, and then proceed to take advantage of them. You WILL be laid off before your 90 days, regardless of whether youve missed time, and you will not receive your raise. Dont despair, they will suddenly find work for you a week later, but at the starting wage. They staff for only the most paranoid clients, who care nothing for your workplace safety. Apply only if you are very desperate, and then quickly secure employment elsewhere. You have been warned.

This place would email me with new job opportunities and ask for my resume, then i would get no reply. I would email Misty again and she would say she lost my application and to send it again. Then about another week later she says she gets it but there are no jobs now and she would keep letting me know.Out of the year i was with them they only got me 1 job, and mentioned 2 others (ALL WAREHOUSE WORK) but only 1 of them they actually set me up with. They just stopped emailing me suddenly and say they only had that 1 job
