Book my appointment at 11am, show up early and was taken into the chair right away. The hair stylist, (forgot her name, blonde with arm tattoos) she greeted me, ask hows my day been, just small talk before she ask what kind of hairstyle I wanted. Throughout the haircut, she was very nice and pleasant. She didnt rush me out of there as we chatted about our kids and family stuff. Overall, my experience today was great and she definitely deserve a praise by the management. Just wish I remember her name, but Ill definitely return there for another haircut!

First haircut here was not horrible, not great, but I decided to give it another shot. I went in about an hour and a half before closing on a Wednesday, with no other customers inside and the two employees were hanging out. The guy told me that they were “all booked up for the night.” I pointed out that they sure didn’t look busy and above that, their “walk-in” neon sign was on. He quickly turned it off after I left.You guys wanna cut hair and make money or not?

I’ve been going to The Barbers for over 10 years and have always been pleased with the quality, friendliness, and value I receive there. I personally like to see Gloria, but my experiences with other stylists there have been equally fantastic. Gloria is professional, attentive, personable, and makes sure I walk out with a haircut I’m proud of every time. She never fails to ask me how my family is doing, and now they come to see her, too! I always take my husband here because Alfredo always cuts his hair and beard so well. Were always so happy with his work!! My husband has early onset Alzheimers, and Alfredo is so gentle with him and very kind to him, too, especially when giving him directions. Not many people are patient with my husband, but Alfredo is great! We will only have Alfredo cut his hair!!

I arrived early so I waited outside. When the time came for my appointment, I was called into the store and had a great experience. The only thing I would suggest is having a chair or two outsider.

The worst Haircut Ive had in 10 years The difference in the length of my hair at the top of my ears is over a quarter of an inch from side to side. I got a scissor cut on one side and a trimmer cut on the other. Either shes brand new and has no experience or she just doesnt care. At the end of the cut I enjoy the massage you supposed to receive which I didnt. I doubt if Ill be returning to this location again.

We love it here. We’ve been coming here on and off for almost a year now. It’s a family friendly environment. All of the ladies are absolutely amazing. Super professional and they take their time to make sure you get exactly what you want. Jordan and Kate have been doing my husband’s hair and they’re the best! They’re always looking for ways to get better and appreciate any honest feedback. It’s hard to find a barber in this area that can do ethnic hair and they knock it out of the park.

I do not like changing barbers whenever I or my barber move. In the past I have driven 20 miles to stay with a barber. When my regular barber for three years left Cascade Park, I followed her, despite the length of the drive. Twice I made the drive: 1) instead of my barber, it was another by the same name. Why, when I called wasn’t I informed and asked, “which one?” 2) I made the drive the next day (based on information I was given) and not my barber again.Tomorrow, I am going back to The Barbers that I have patronized for three years for a new barber!

Lady seemed very u experienced, her hands stunk of cigarettes and I never noticed her wash them she only used sanitizer which is not the same, she never put a hard part in my hair and the fade looks bad, she was nice but I had to go somewhere else the very next day

The Barbers at Hazel Dell has deteriorated substantially over the last six months. I’ve been coming to this location for six years and have some consistently great haircuts. Lindsay, Kate, and Katie were all phenomenal. These ladies are now gone and have been replaced by people who are terrible. The last three cuts I have had have gotten worse and worse, culminating with my cut today that is the worst I have ever received in my entire life, while my son’s cut was also awful, even though we had two different people cut our hair.How difficult is it to do a fade or blend hair so that it doesn’t look like it’s been hit with a weed whacker? I just spent thirty minutes at home attempting to clean it up, but there is only so much I can do. To add insult to injury, it cost me $50. What a waste of time and money. I will never go back to this location and will advise everyone to do the same.

We have been coming to this location for years and simply love it. My son feels comfortable with everyone here. The staff here is always friendly and know exactly what they are doing when it comes to a haircut.We definitely recommend this place.

Really felt like my “barber” had no clue what she was doing. Had to cut the sides three different times because she didn’t listen and left it too long because she chose to use scissors the first two times. The third time she used sheers but still left it super long. Asked for my neck To be shaved, it wasn’t done. I’ve never been so frustrated and disappointed with a haircut. Will not be going back.

Used to come here twice a month a while back until I found a different barber. Came here recently for a quick fade and trim but quickly realized why its been so long since Ive been back here. Giving this place two stars really sucks because they do have great barbers working there but the gal who cut my hair just needed a bit more experience for the price they charge you for a regular haircut.

I came in with two of my friends today to get haircuts and I’ve never received such bad customer service. While I was waiting to be helped I was sitting on my phone to quickly pass the time. After waiting 30 ish minutes the girl with the palm tattoo said she had been calling my name 4 times and I didn’t answer. Which was not the case because I was sitting in the building the whole time. And then she said “sorry but now we’re closed so maybe you should come back tomorrow”. It was a huge waste of my night and I didn’t even end up getting my hair cut. Definitely do not recommend this place. Work on better customer service.

I have been a regular here for about 2 years now. I have had consistently great service and always enjoy it there. Great people, and they allow me to call ahead when Im on my way so I almost never have to wait.

This location is filled with a great staff and professional people. The barber I always go to is Jordan cause she knows her profession. She has given me the best hair cuts Ive had! She knows hair and how to cut it. Only reason I pick her is cause had told me what my hair does and she makes me look and teaches me how to tame its little things.. Outside of the cut itself its great fun to converse with the crew. Thank you Hazel Dell crew.

I got the most amazing haircut and neck rub. At first I walked in and wanted to leave because it was very busy but I stuck it out for a while. Kate cut my hair and she was amazing. Beautiful girl, very very meticulous and took her time. She didnt talk to me much. But I didnt care because I felt and looked great when I left. Will be back to see her next time I pass through.

Great place for a haircut. They listened to what I wanted and did a great job. After the cut you get a brief shoulder massage with a motorized device. Its a little odd, but feels pleasant.

My experience was not great at all. I brought my 22 year old autistic son in for a hair cut today. He has bad dandruff and oily hair. The hairstylist we got decided he must have lice and would not cut his hair. Even after showing her that it was dandruff, she still insisted it was lice. Unfortunately, everyone there knew her opinion as well by the time we left. At one point someone else did offer to cut his hair instead but I was not interested. I will not come back. I did go to another establishment who happily cut his hair and did not agree with her opinion. It might be a good idea for your hairdresser to be knowledgeable about the difference between lice and dandruff so this doesn’t happen to another person.

I just got a haircut here recently and was very pleased. My overall cut only took about 20 minutes and I was in and out in a snip... I mean, snap! The one feature in this place that is an improvement, are that the TV are lowered to eye level for when youre getting a haircut. Every other Barbers shop Ive been to in Vancouver has them located up above the mirrors, so your struggling to watch them during the cut.

This was the worst haircut my boyfriend has ever had. She not once asked him what he wanted and immediately started cutting his hair. He then told her the exact size cut he wanted and she was confused. When he asked her to line his hair how he ALWAYS gets it, she said she wouldn’t do it for him and had someone else do it for her. The sides of his hair aren’t even faded like he asked either. No wonder you guys only do walk-in’s! Definitely do not recommend this “barber” shop.

I came into this store for a fade told the young lady I wanted a 1/4 inch on top and 1/8 inch on bottom. after conveying that i needed to change the seat to a bench seat cause i am too wide ( fat ) my barber started to giggle and talk in Spanish how fat i was to her. hearing Spanish speaking and being from San Diego i had no trouble understanding what they thought i didnt understand their rudeness. . I tried in vain to converse with the barber when i was getting my haircut that she kept getting wrong.. first asks me how do i like it with this huge 2/12 inch cow lick looking swirl on top of my head. I asked her if she know what a fade was and how to give one.. told me yes.. but 2 more times asked me how i liked it.. told her no.. shorter.. 1/2 inch please.. after 3 times i just figured she didnt know or didnt care what i wanted. I moved to this area and was going to the fisher landing area barber shop for 10+ years. thinking this place would be just as good but it was lacking.. no popcorn or soda or water offered.. at $19.95 i was charged for a crap haircut... steer far away from this place.. I myself will be driving the extra distance to go back to the 164 barber shop then this one.. I know that they are privately owned by one guy and I hope he reads this in the hopes he can train his staff better at this establishment in hopes of making someone elses experience better. 1 out of 5 stars. .

My boyfriend gets his haircut here and the girls always do an amazing job! But i went to get an undercut, because of past good experiences, and a man i have never met did it. He was very nice and i tipped him 20% because i thought his customer service was awesome! But when i got home and had my sister take a picture of it, i saw that it was completely uneven, and uncentered. Im sorry but for 15$ the least you can do is check your lines to make sure that theyre even. 1 star only for customer service.

The staff at the Barbers do an excellent job. I only had about a 5 minute wait, which was enough time to see how patient one of the hairdressers was with a screaming child and an overly controlling mother. I was impressed, because I know that the kid was annoying me, and I wasnt trying to cut his hair while he screamed, squirmed and yelled. BTW-my haircut was perfect as well.

Young lady left hairs all over my boyfriends face. Took some convincing to get him to have a professional haircut. Back to the drawing board.

I have moved to vancouver recently and was getting tired of driving back to pdx. I did a little checking and found the name Kate being mentioned often. So I made a time for later in the afternoon. Long story short, Kate was amazing. From the cut to the extras, getting The Works from her is the best. I have found my barber!

Very disappointed!!! I waited almost an hour, then I just left. There were 4 people waiting when I walked in. I was okay to wait a little, but as more people walked in and they were seated before me was not very professional. The most disappointing part of all. Was the that each stylist who took a customer before me looked right at me before they seated the customer. As if they knew I had been waiting. I will not recommend this shop to anyone!

Ask for Brice or memory. Only problem is they dont do Beard trims now due to covid. So you basically get a haircut and nothing else. Better off just doing it yourself and saving the 22 dollars for just a fade..

I walk in today, ask for a head shave and the girls look among themselves like who knows how?I just changed my 5 star review to a 1, totally unacceptable to come to a barber and nobody can shave a head? I looked in the back and 2 girls were cutting each other’s hair , a few were counting tips. I’m currently still waiting and 2 ppl got ahead of me because nobody can cut my hair or knows how. The people here who can’t shave a head need to me immediately retrained or fired. It’s a simple request.Not happy and I think I may start going somewhere else. Which is unfortunateWorst experience so far

Place is filthy. Its has hair and trash tracked out the front door. Waited over an hour. Request a certain barber and I guess you serve friends that walk in with red bull first not waiting customers. A real joke, I stopped coming becays the haircuts were marginal at best, but what can I do when nothing else is open on Sundays my only day off. Barbers used to be my favorite place, but now there are three Ill never set foot in again. I recommend any place else
