Been intending to write a review for this fabulous repair shop for a while. My Toyota RAV was having serious electrical issues to the point that I couldnt even drive it, because it kept cutting off. I jumped online and found that Munsons is an independent Toyota and Honda repair shop and had great reviews.Had the vehicle towed to shop and they found at least 12 check engine codes with the scanner. Instead of getting charged a diagnostic for every codes, the mechanic realized that I had an electrical short due to a stray wire touching my starter. And after this was identified and removed, the vehicle was completely back to normal. I am grateful for their expertise in diagnosing this problem. They made it look easy, but I know that electrical issues can be tricky and take skill to decipher.Thank you Munsons for saving the day! Really great people who care and who are honest and have fair pricing.

The people at this place really know their stuff, and they use good OEM parts, not cheap knockoffs. Mike and Mitch are fantastic technicians, they are not crooked or dishonest, and Tracy in the office is fantastic with her customer service skills and fixing problems or issues. The specialize in Honda and Toyota but really if you bring any import in they can probably fix it or steer you to a shop that can. If you want to support a small business then this one is highly recommended.

Very good shop to have work done at. They’re honest which is a lost art these days. Can’t count how many shops are scam artists out there. Munsons has consistently been the best for the many years I’ve been a customer

I have used Munsons to service my Honda vehicles for many years and have always been more than satisfied with the service, workmanship and value. I most recent visit today, it was because a high profile, multi-brand car dealership, when I went in for a recent oil change, advised me that I needed multiple services, totaling $1500. The quote I received was more than 50% less at Munsons so I made an appointment there. On the day of the service, Mike at Munsons called me, after looking the car over, to say that none of the services the dealership had recommended were necessary. To top it off, he told me there was no charge for his time. I cannot recommend Munsons enough!

Ive been too Munsons twice and each time Ive been impressed. Most places try selling you on future so called maintenance woes, which to me is a clear sign that they just want your credit card on file with a blank check. Munsons addressed the issue and didnt add too just because I was coming up on a certain mileage. I appreciate that, since I kind of have to get repairs as they come, not just fix parts that might be on the way out. I hope that makes sense, thank you munsons

Contacted the owner via email with an estimate inquiry for a gasket replacement. After a few replies, I decided it may be best to stop by the shop to provide the vehicle in person for an assessment. The owner wasnt there, and an employee had told me they were too busy, and to leave my contact info to receive a call from the owner. Its been over a month now....my business is going elsewhere.

Extremely helpful & honest staff here. Familys been customers for years. The owner literally wrote a small book detailing ways typical places try to upsell or scam non-car-savvy folks like myself.

Great shop. They serviced our 2010 Acura RDX and did a great job. Turnaround time was very fast and they didnt try to upsell. Even told us something I wanted done wasnt completely needed. We did it anyways, but it was telling how honest they were. Car feels brand new again. Thank you all! Definitely will be back.

First off I would give them 6 stars if it was an option!!! If you have a Honda/Acura theres not a better, more knowledgable, or HONEST shop around. Theyve proven themselves time and time again. Ive been going there (as well as several family members) for close to 2 decades now for anything thats to big of a job or that i just dont want to do in the drive way.

Lady on the phone did not know what a tune up is, and would not give me the price for one. She may not have had her coffee yet, but she was kinda rude! Didnt make me want to talk further or bring my business there.

We tried Munsons because of all the highly rated reviews. So glad we did! They were quick, friendly and kept us informed every step of the no contact repair. They have our business. Will gladly recommend.

Reasonably priced, they dont recommend repairs that you dont need and honest. I wouldnt take my vehicle anywhere else.

Munsons has always been honest, quick, and courteous in working with us. Ive always had a hard time trusting auto repair shops (especially after working at one), but Munsons is the rare exception. This is the only shop Ive ever trusted 100% to be honest about the work needed, and the work done.

My daughter’s car recently got vandalized and they broke her fuel tank and stole her gas. Her car was fixed a lot faster than we anticipated! The total ended up being a lot cheaper than what we were initially quoted. We can’t thank you guys enough as it’s very stressful while my husband is on deployment. Just had an engine rebuild done by Dick and his crew: Mike and Michael. Great service and communication during the whole process. Work was finished on time and within the budget limits that were set ahead of time. My 2001 Civic EX is running better than before and is fun to drive again. Munsons is THE PLACE for any Honda repair work that you need....really!

I went in and told them I needed certain things done to my truck. They called back in less than 4 hours to tell me that I didnt actually need most of those things. It really wins people over when they realize you were completely honest with them and not trying to make a quick buck on work that doesnt need to be done. Thanks to these guys, I saved quite a bit of money.

Mr. Munson has been my mechanic for five years now. He and his dedicated team are professional and efficient. Their prices for service are out of this world generous and I have always felt as if my best interests were at the forefront. This business is a family and I will always highly recommend them. I am a mid-twenties female and I have had some bad experiences elsewhere. That has never been the case with Munsons. They give it to me straight, with options. These guys will tell you if you dont actually need something. Good people, GREAT mechanics!!!!

I took my Acura in because of a feeling of losing power. I had asked Dr google before I went to Munsons and I thought the repair was going to be very costly. Munsons charged me a lot less than what I thought it would cost and my problem was solved. Years ago, I took my car in to Munsons also and he told me I didnt need what I thought I needed, and the repair I did need was a lot less, then too. Hes a really honest man and I trust Munsons completely with my cars. Both times I could have easily been taken advantage of, but I wasnt. Ill always take my cars to Munsons.

Munsons is amazing! I told them about a squeaky noise coming from my AC and a few other minor things they fixed for me for free. Now my 97 Accord is running flawlessly. If you ever buy a honda and it needs something done def. go here. They fixed my issues in an hour and I didnt pay anywhere near what I was expecting to. Highly recommended to me by Reddit and friends as well!

Hands down the best Honda/Toyota shop Ive ever experienced. Dick Munson literally wrote the book on how not to get fleeced through your auto. Ive had more than 10 occasions that myself or someone I know have an insane ($$$) quote at another local shop; only to have Munsons find the actual part that is broken/defective, and use quality parts, due to experience and accurate troubleshooting they are much cheaper for very high quality maintenance. Soichiro Honda and Kiichiro Toyoda would be proud of the attention to quality. Cannot recommend these guys highly enough.
