My keys got stuck in my ignition and car completely died. It was a pretty chaotic experience on my end. Turns out it was my alternator. Gaynors was so helpful. They were accommodating, helpful, informative, professional, kind, and made the experience so much better. Most importantly, my car is fixed and running better than it ever has. Im super grateful my car ended up there. I highly recommend them. I have had to take vehicles in quite often for repairs (ha, yay beaters), but I have never had a better experience.

Ryan was very helpful in resolving a transmission overheating issue that I had been to two different dealers about. Ryan recommended complete cleaning of the cooling fins on the transmission cooler, and installed a larger transmission oil pan with a temperature gauge so I am now able to monitor the temp as I drive. My vehicle is a 2007 Dodge Ram 3500 with Cummins diesel. I use it with a 3000# truck camper, which is a maximum load.I have been using it this week and the transmission oil stays in the 140-180 degree range, depending on the grade. This is a great operating temperature range for transmission longevity.

The office staff at the Orchards location were very friendly and helpful. I dropped the car off the night before and the work was done by mid-day. I dont have the ability to evaluate the quality of the work done, but Ive had no problems at all with any of the work Gaynors has done on my vehicles.

They are closed on weekends so keep that in mind. That being said they were super helpful and will break every bit of information down that you need into bite sized pieces.They gave a full inspection of my vehicle with a lot of pictures so I understood exactly what was going wrong. They even worked with me on pricing and gave multiple estimates depending on exactly how much of my vehicle I wanted fixed.The cherry on top is that they had great customer service! They went out of their way to help me when I was in a bind and were always friendly! Also a plus that I dont feel like my car is going to explode on me now.

We dropped off our 1996 Ford 250 for a fuel line issue, ac not working and driver seat replacement. They replaced an ac leaking gasket and recommended steps for the fuel line issue and are searching for seat replacement. The truck was also vacuumed before we picked it up. We will return for future service.

Really like the transparency they provide with the inspection and diagnosis. They sent me a link displaying everything that checked out good, some things of concerns, some things that should be addressed, etc it included real pictures of my truck and the parts they were concerned about. There was no push to do anything, but rather just a thorough explanation. They did confirm the issues for me that I took it in for and fixed those. Truck has been driving great since.

The NE Fourth Plain team was really terrific to deal with (especially Tim). We brought our truck in because our air conditioning quit working. They not only fixed our air conditioning but went thru the entire truck & gave us a read out on what was working perfectly & what needed to be replaced and/or fixed. They also told us in what time frame these things needed to be done. Its really terrific how they got ahold of me before they fixed anything on our truck and before they charged us one cent. It shows how much they respect their customers and thats incredibly refreshing because Ive seen too many businesses that charge you and then let you know what they did and why. My sons car was having an issue and the folks here were able to diagnose the issue quickly as well as show me alerts about known issues on the car regarding my issue. During their check, they also gave the car a complete check of the car which gave me great piece of mind for my teenage driver. While I hope to not need their services, I will use them again if I have need without hesitation!

From start to finish my experience with Gaynors transmission was great. The 700r4 transmission in my old 94 GMC pickup was slipping between gears, but the transmission shop near my house that Id used last time in 2009 had closed. A friend recommended Gaynors to me so I gave them a call. Ryan was 100% professional every step of the way, both when I called and later when I brought my truck in for work. After dropping it off at Gaynors they had me all fixed up with the problem resolved in only two days. Now the transmission in my truck is working great. They were so fast. I had a car that hadn’t ran in over five years, and they could have easily charged me an arm and a leg and I would have gone along. Instead they told me it was a an easy fix, and had it back to me in two days, for under $600. I wouldn’t think twice about using them again. They also came highly recommend from another body shop that I have used before and I can see why.

Honest and no up-selling!My wife and I were looking for a new mechanic shop for the past 3 years. We were still driving to Sandy, Or to use our old mechanic.We were happy with our experience with the Transmission team. They looked over my vehicle and ran a couple drive tests. During this time they determined there was nothing to be repaired. I picked up the vehicle expecting to pay the diagnostic test fee. To my surprise they said nothing was owed. I drive away and noticed that the drive test mechanic also put gas in my truck! (Gas light had just came on when I dropped it off). My conversation with Steve was helpful and informative!Thank you for the great service. We will be back.

They were really quick at getting my car fixed up and the price I ended up paying was over $100 less than their estimate. I highly recommend Gaynor’s and I will be taking my car there for any other maintenance it needs.

I didnt give them a good rating due to the following:I had an appt and dropped my car off at 8:30am to have the AC looked at (told them its been recharged twice and still doesnt blow cold after a day) and I believed it must have a leak. They said they would look at it and call me within a couple hours with an estimate before making repairs.At 1:45pm, I still hadnt received a call. I called Gaynors and was told my car was currently being inspected and they would let me know when they had an estimate.At about 3:00pm, Gaynors called me and told me my car had a leak in the condensor and would cost $950.00+ to repair. They could order the part and if I left my car there they could fix it first thing Tuesday morning.If I opted not to repair, it would be around $128 for the services performed to locate the leak.I was expecting it to cost something to diagnose but was surprised they didnt mention that until after the fact.I decided I could not afford the $950+ and ended up paying the diagnostic fee and picked up my car.I would recommend they spend more time explaining the process and potential costs before someone leaves their car there all day.I will say the guy had good customer service by phone. He was polite but not very informative.It would have been helpful to get a break down to explain why a condensor replacement costs almost $1,000 when the part is about $60. If I knew the breakdown about how much the labor costs and how many hours, that would have helped.

I have a 51 year-old car. As such, parts are not readily or easily available. Ryan and the crew at the Orchards location did a great job in identifying and then tracking down the parts necessary to get my baby running properly, including fixing several things that had been jury-rigged or just plain done wrong by previous owners of the vehicle. I highly recommend this business.

It is easy to obtain an appointmentThe mechanics are certified and experienced. They do a though inspection and reset the electronics.

Two separate times they worked on my 57 T-Bird. It was a lot of varied work that involved electrical and some mechanical. They did a great job and Id recommend them to anyone.

I dont understand this business.I needed an oil change and a coolant exchange, as per mfg guidelines.They wanted $250 to exchange coolant. Thats twice the price of competitors.They also said I needed to replace my automatic transmission fluid and serpentine belt. An independent mechanic looked at it and said neither were necessary.So weve got a way-over-priced business that tries to drum up unnecessary work to pad their profits.So, again, why is this business a thing?

This place IMPRESSED me!!!! I had a headlight and a taillight out on my Venza. They got me in quickly, handled the headlight in a minute - I had brought my own bulb (two previous places stated that I needed to take it to a Toyota dealership because it’s very technical). He hands me my keys and no charge. Schedule the taillight for the next day. This is the technical one. They spent hours on it and charged me $90 for the bulb and service. I complained that he didn’t charge enough! He said, “Hey, I promised you under $100!” Integrity, quality work, friendly, efficient, and to boot, they had a driver take me home and pick me up while they fixed my car! Mediocrity is rampant in this country, it’s almost expected - not at Gaynor’s in Orchards! They go above and beyond while maintaining professionalism. I received a complimentary oil service from Gaynors Automotive. My vehicle takes a synthetic blend which can get expensive. I dropped my car off for a 9 a.m. appointment and didnt have a way to get to pick it up as I was working for the day. Ryan made arrangements for them to drop my vehicle off to me which was very helpful! He took the time to explain the complementary work that was done, and what would needed to be done in the future for my next visit. Very happy with my service and I will definitely use them in the future! Great job Gaynors!

I made an appointment for alignment and they couldn’t do it because I lifted my truck. They were very polite and professional however I just wish they would have told me over the phone they can’t do newer lifted vehicles. There’s an hour of my time wasted. Can’t speak to work quality, but again very polite and professional to deal with.

Pleasant to deal with. Returned 9 months later after transmission rebuild, with continuous shifting at 40 mph. The shop dealt with us professionally and returned it 2 days later fixed, We will drive over next few days to see if our truck has been fixed.

Great price. I was recommended to this location from Precesion Tune Autocare. I went in to get my thermostat/ cooling system checked out, they found a small leak. Even though I didn’t go through with getting my radiator replaced with them they still fixed my underguard that was hanging below my car. Very friendly and communicative.
