Dan is an excellent mechanic. He is honest and affordable. It’s hard to find a mechanic that won’t try to fix a bunch of non-existent issues. Dan is the man! I wouldn’t hesitate to refer anyone to him for automotive work.

After 6 Auto is a one-man operation owned by Dan. A few weeks ago Dan fixed my jeep by replacing the ignition switch because my jeep was intermittently not starting. Day after I picked it up the problem continued. Now my jeep is broke down and wont start at all. When I called Dan he tried to claim he never worked on my jeep. He said You expect me to remember every car I work on? I asked him to look in his records which he said he found no record of me. Either hes lying, or hes the only mechanic that doesnt keep records of the cars he works on. So I paid for a repair which did not fix the problem and my jeep is broke down in a parking lot. I dont have a problem with a mechanic who may not diagnose an issue the first time around, I know that can happen, but I do have a problem with him not wanting to admit he even worked on my jeep because hes too proud that he may have misdiagnosed the problem. Plus he doesnt want to stand by the warranty on the new ignition switch which he told me about before he fixed it. A friend originally recommended me to him and when I called her today to tell her what happened, she said at church last Sunday she heard another bad complaint about Dan. Very dishonest unprofessional service.

Ive been taking my vehicles to Dan for several years now. I recommend him to everyone I know. Hes honest, transparent, and does high quality work at a fair price. Whenever I have issues with my vehicle, hes the first person I call.
