Honest and have never bullied me into getting extra stuff done that didn’t pertain to the issue. They also ask all the right questions and have even saved me from a simple inspection cost because they double checked certain information. Love these guys.

Be it a cringe worthy issue, or a good laugh, Luke has taken care of every issue no matter how small, with a smile on his face. Good pricing, honest words, and timely repairs. One of the best experiences I have had.

Had been awhile since I had a car worked on by them. They exceeded expectations. I worked with Luke a lot and he was very nice and had no problem explaining things. I had my steering column replaced and also my serpentine belt and a wheel bearing. Will be doing further work with them.

Man these guys do it all. I have several cars, including a classic and a foreign. None are a problem for them. They are honest, which is the number one thing to me in a mechanic.

The only shop of mechanics in town I trust. Their prices are reasonable, service is outstanding & they are up front with vehicle repair costs. They wont tell you that you need service that you dont. My husband called to ask how much to re-glue the tire to the rim because the sidewall was leaking - he was told $10. 5 minutes later he went there and they said it would be $50, they are very shady people. There was a woman in front of him, which they were trying to charge $35 to do a taillight bulb change, when she heard the price she said she would rather do it herself and the guy gave her the bulb back - holding it with his BARE GREASY HANDS- and told her it would be pretty easy to unplug and plug in the new one and be sure to wipe the bulb so it’s not greasy... if it’s so easy why couldn’t you do it and not try to rip her off for something “so easy”. Would not recommend to anyone - especially if you don’t know anything about cars. We also tried to bring my car here a few months ago to patch a nail and they wanted like $60 to do it, took it to a shop in Portland that fixed it for $10. RIP OFF!

I have been using EVA for many years. On Saturday 12/26/20, Jeremy was able to replace one of our cars windows after it was busted out on Christmas day. Whether you need repair inside or outside of your vehicle, these guys will do an excellent job.

Great mechanics, honest business. We originally took our car here because we had a car failure and it was nearby, but since then we’ve gone back again and again for things from oil changes to a new catalytic converter after it was stolen. We even moved about an hour further away and still stick with them. Wouldn’t have trusted anyone else to do the post-purchase inspection on our new (used) car 👍

I took my traverse in for new catalitic converters. It needed 3 of them. Pretty hefty repair bill. 10 months after the repair my driveline fell out of my car in the safeway parkinglot turns out the bolts were not tightened. It was too far after my repair to pursue a claim.

These guys... I could not say anything bad about them. I bought my first car for college not even a year ago, a 2014 Honda Civic with extremely low miles. In the second month after buying it the transmission went out. My parent has come to them for their car for a while now so I thought why not go to them too. I have never really worked with cars or understood them but when your spending money on them its good to know or have a general knowledge of what is happening. These guys will really sit with you and explain, draw pictures, and even search up what parts are being discussed so you know exactly what is going on. They are very knowledgeable and so patient i couldnt say that enough. I truly trust this group of guys to be truthful and honest about what is going on with ones car. they have never disappointed!

Everyone I met at this mechanic shop was very nice and patient, they took the time to explain everything that needed to be done to my car and why it needed to be done. Which was really nice. I will definitely be taking my car back to the shop for any future work I need done.

The work is very good, the people are friendly, and the prices are reasonable. They didnt try to upsell me or put high pressure on me. Have taken two cars here for repairs and have been very happy with their work.

Ive been coming here for over 100k miles. They pulled me in with a free oil change and Ive kept coming back for all my repairs from belts, to brakes, to anything.Great service and never feel like Im paying for something that isnt needed.Highly recommend.

Asked them to replace a clutch. Charged me 1200 dollars and did the repair over a weekend. Day I drove it away the clutch blew again. Brought it back. One weekend later they put another clutch in. Clutch made a god awful rattling sound that was not there prior to them working on it. They told me it would cost another $400 to fix the problem. Safe to say I did not bring my car back there to have them attempt to fix it again. Not happy with this work.In addition, they told me that I had an oil leak that they would fix for free if I brought it in for an oil change since a family member of mine was a frequent customer. Upon me bringing it in for an oil change, I was told the person who promised me this wasnt here today so they couldnt fix the leak. They preformed the oil change for around $40, which was reasonable, but did not fix the leak they promised to fix.Overall I would not recommend this place for repairs. The run around I got from them personally was disheartening, and Ive heard similar stories from my family members going here for repairs. It was disappointing because me and my family have been frequent customers for a while and it felt pretty bad to be treated this way despite this. In addition, the way they did my larger more expensive repairs was an outright nightmare. Nobody should have to worry about their car blowing up when driving away from a professional shop following repairs.Personally, Id look elsewhere if you need expensive work done.Will give them 2 stars however because they are super polite as they give you the run around.

East Vancouver Auto is one of the very few places I can take my car for repairs and trust they will do everything promised. If They find another problem while under the hood they are honest about how long you can put the problem off or explain why you shouldnt. Even if I could find a cheaper shop the honesty and quality are priceless, but are far as cost Ive called around and found they charge just about the same as everyone else. I think what makes them stand out from the rest is that they keep the same employees, and its a friendly environment where everyone feels respected so the guys doing the work take pride in what they do and make sure everything is just right before giving a car back.

Had to replace front wheel bearings on my wife’s car and wanted to do the work myself but had to have the bearings pressed in so I disassembled the car and took the parts to Jeremy he installed the new bearings and spindles however the spindles were wrong so I took everything back and talked to Jeremy and that is when we discovered that the spindles were wrong. There was nothing really wrong with the old spindles so Jeremy pressed out to the wrong spindles and reinstalled the old ones and didn’t charge me for the rework.I want give my thanks to Jeremy and East Vancouver Auto for great work and for working with their customers to achieve satisfaction. Great people to work with

Front desk clerk is very friendly. Jeremy the head mechanic is extremely skilled in his profession and I can tell he takes pride in his work. Prices are what you would expect to pay for automotive work. Very busy shop so turnaround time may reflect that. I will continue to use East Vancouver Automotive for all of my vehicle maintenance and repairs from now on.

These guys went above and beyond for me even though I didnt have them do the work needed. It was way out of my budget the car was mislabeled during the sale so Im disputing the charge and trying to return the car. They sent all the information they had on the car and offered to speak with anyone, if needed, to state the condition of the car and my statements about it being mislabeled to them on the day that I picked the car up. Jeremy has been super helpful. If I need any work done in the future I would go out of my way to bring it to them. Good service from someone who cares is hard to find.

Let me start off by saying I had a very hard time trying to find somewhere to get an alignment, since my work hours coincide with business hours to many repair shops.After speaking to many rude people from various businesses around the area I found these guys, who not only could get me in same day but at my lunch hour! They got my car done faster than they quoted me and I paid exactly the price they said I would pay. Which in itself was awesome. They even offered to drive me back to work if they didnt get done in time.Great experience here and will for sure be returning.

Way overpriced, dont believe they are experienced enough 2 diagnose a vehicle correctly. Did work I didnt need done and overcharged also charge for Diagnostic which most shops do not when they do the work. Still have the symptoms after picking up vehicle and have progressively gotten worse. Very shady people did not give me my parts back when I asked. Drop $700 on a few maintenance things that I could have done myself and were not the problem. Owner just wanted to argue when contacted. Wont be back and would not recommend this place especially to women.

I have never been car saavy and most people would take advantage of that but not these guys. They have always worked with me to get the best deals & explained everything thoroughly so I knew what I needed done to my car. My entire family goes to them for anything from oil changes to tires to other car needs. Highly recommend.

I asked the 3 stores right next to this place for the same work, they all wanted 2-3 days, and almost twice as much cash. Give this place your business. I got a flat tire and was told to put fixaflat in it to get me to a tire shop. After doing so the first shop i went to told me they could not fix my tire due to the fact that i had put fixaflat in it and that destroys the inside of the tire. My only option was to buy a new one. I declined and sought out this wonderful company. They not only repaired my tire. But it took them less thsn 5 min. And it was free. With a smile. I will be coming back here for sure. But most of all, I trust them and they make me feel like my business matters to them.....not just my business, but I feel like weve established a friendship which makes me feel like they have my best interest at heart whenever I bring my car in for service. Went in to get an oil change and an alignment they told me I’d get a call back in an hour 3 hours later call me saying I need over 2400 in work done, tried to sell me parts I didn’t need to replace and then wouldn’t even just do the alignment and the oil change. Took it somewhere in Portland and paid $39 for the alignment. I have the paper with their quote and a the receipt for what I paid. Do not go here they will try to take advantage of you, especially if you’re a woman.

These guys are the best!!! Very friendly and personable dudes, and theyre fast and have quality work. Ive been screwed over by mechanics in the past, so i was nervous to have to find a new regular shop to go to when my 98 Malibu acts up. But these guys are my go to from now on!!! Replaced a component which functioned just fine. I have a feeling they were aware of this yet they still chose to do it OR they werent aware of this which means they dont know what theyre doing. After they finished working on my car, it still ran quite the same before it went into their messy garage. The only difference here is Im out a couple of hundred bucks. Either way, Im not taking my car to these clowns again. I wouldnt recommend you do either.
