I had a great experience with All About Air Heating & Cooling. I forgot the name of the tech that came out, but he was extremely friendly and polite. I tend to be overly interested in the things that theyre doing, and he was very accommodating to explain what he was doing while listening to all my questions. Their techs are great.All that needed done was to replace a capacitor, which makes the half-hour of time spent feel a little spendy, but to me its better than setting my house on fire and then having to explain it to an insurance company.When my HVAC eventually dies in the years to come, I think I know where Ill be headed.

The All About Air Team are great. Our AC died at the end of last summer. Since our house is 20 years old we knew the furnace would probably go soon too. We had them replace the furnace, AC and hot water heater. The whole team was friendly and professional. They even took the time to show my inquisitive son what they were doing. We will definitely be calling them when it comes time for doing routine maintenance on our system.

Weve been using All About Air to maintain our gas furnace for several years. When it reached the end of its life, we selected them to install a replacement and an AC unit. They were very easy to work with and professional.

I would not trust this company at all. We were purchasing a home and they came in to clean the furnace and AC to assure that it was in working order. They left a receipt saying they cleaned the furnace and that everything was working. When we closed on the house we noticed debri still in the furnace and called them back to clean it. They came back and vacuumed it out. Well a hot day came and we went to turn on the AC and it did not work. Luckily we had AHS insurance. Another company came out and discovered 1. the unit was never cleaned. 2. Not only was it not cleaned it was filled with cracks in the heat exchanger, one vent was completely blocked and so on. Basically the furnace was not working and it needed to be replaced. The furnace was junk. Since we already closed on the house it was now our responsibility to replace. Even with our insurance we still pay thousands of dollars to replace the unit. If they would have done the job the were paid to do we could have had the expense covered by the sellers. When I contacted the owner he was an Ass and basically told me the unit worked when they were there so something must have happened in the two weeks time we lived there......Yeah because everyone turns their furnace on in June!! Then he said we should have called them to repair it. Um no you couldnt even clean it properly the first two times. Dont waste your money you will regret it.

We recently replaced our entire HVAC system and All About Air was an amazing company to work with. They are a small, locally owned business that is focused on great customer service and quality work. The back office at All About Air did a great job with communications, follow up and scheduling, and they promptly completed all of the paperwork for our rebate. The install team did high quality work and Christian was laser focused on attention to detail. We could not be happier with All About Air and highly recommend their service.

Our AC quit blowing at the beginning of this 90+ degree heat wave. We have 6 kids and two dogs. We called another company and had to wait three days for a service call. When they finally arrived, they diagnosed the problem and charged us $200+, without it even being fixed, or telling us it was probably under warranty. They told us they would get back to us with an estimate. After waiting 24 hours for the estimate, and calling three times, I gave up.I called All About Air, told them what had happened, and they had a service tech out the next morning at 8 AM with the needed parts in hand! They charge us a $99 service call, and one hour of labor, and we had AC running by 9 AM! They even saved us the $400 part fee by telling us it was under warranty, and submitting the warranty paperwork for us!Lenny, the owner (I think), was amazing! Tony, the service tech, was also awesome, and a very pleasant young man. Excellent customer service and communication! They have my business for LIFE!

I actually took 7 bids to have my heat pump and furnace replaced. Since our house was built in 1979 everything had to be replaced, both units, pipes, and some wiring updated. All About Air came in around a thousand below everyone else. My brother owns a H&C company near Seattle Wa. He told me to send him all the bids and he would go through them looking for added on items we didnt need. On All About Airs bid, he told me that their bid was less than what he could do the work for. Because of that he gave me questions to ask them having to do with the proper installation where some companies cut corners. I emailed my questions to All About Air and received a reply within a short time. The answers I received were what my brother told me was the correct way to install the system.I was surprised that they offered us a portable AC unit to use until they could install our system. The removal of our old system and installation of the new took about a day and a half. Probably because some metal fabrication had to be done to connect to our existing cold air return.The units we had installed were the American Standard 3 Ton Platinum 18 High Efficiency Variable Speed Heat Pump 4A6V803 with the American Standard American Standard High Efficiency Variable Speed Air Handler TAM9A0B30. They sealed between the pipes, wiring and furnace, and the house where air could come from the attic and under the house. They did the same outside where piping and wires go through the foundation air vents. (Keeps critters from getting under your house)Had I to do it all over again I would not hesitate to have All About Air do the work. There is nothing bad I can say about this company or the installers. Their communication, installation, or care to keep our house clean during installation was excellent.Thank You Ann, Lenny, the installers and office personnel for your help and professionalism...

Couldn’t pick a worse time of for the heat to go out! Thankfully we had quick response from All About Air. The young man who cane out was thorough and quickly determined that our issues were serious. Lenny, the owner, came out that same day with proposals for a new system. We made our selection and work began the next day. We had the 27 year old Furnace and Heat pump replaced on a house we just purchased this year (2019). We originally received a quote to replace both from 4 different companies and All About Air was by far the most affordable for the make/model/efficiency of the furnace and heat pumps. Then we found out that natural gas could be ran to our house and started the re-quote process again with 4 separate companies. And again All About Air provided the most affordable rates for a new high efficiency gas furnace and A/C unit. And since we now had natural gas we went with an on demand hot water heater, which again they provided the best rates for the unit, removal and install. After the install of the furnace the sound of the gas burner was fairly loud and we have very thin walls and count heat it in the master bedroom. We pointed this out to Lenny (owner) and he came out and listened to our concern. He said they would relocate it to the attic (fortunately we had the option to) above our breeze way and didn’t charge us! Talk about customer service. We defiantly recommend All About Air for HVAC and Water heater install.

We had an absolutely awful experience with this company. Short story: this company cost us several thousand dollars because they were dishonest when hired to do work as a certified HVAC contractor during the purchase of our home.Long story: we purchased a home about a year and a half ago, and were highly encouraged by our home inspection agency to have the furnace and heat pump further inspected by a licensed HVAC company, as both appliances were not in proper working order. We requested the “Seller have a certified HVAC contractor service and clean and repair/replace the HVAC (furncace, filters, and heat pump).” The seller agreed to our request, and hired All About Air as the certified HVAC contractor. Before signing papers on our new home, we received a copy of the invoice that All About Air sent the seller, which claimed that All About Air had cleaned and repaired the furnace. However, after moving into our new home, we started hearing a thunking noise every time the furnace would turn on; this noise was clearly not a normal noise for a recently repaired furnace to be making. My husband removed the cover on the furnace, and could clearly see that the furnace hadn’t been cleaned, let alone repaired despite All About Air’s cleaning and repairing charges on their invoice. The inside of the furnace was covered in a thick layer of dirt/dust and animal hair. My husband called his brother-in-law who works for an HVAC company, and he came out and looked at the furnace. He laughed when he removed the cover, and said there was no way that the furnace had even been touched. After inspecting the furnace and heat pump, he told us that the furnace and heat pump should have both been replaced, as they were so old that it wouldn’t be worth the cost of fixing them. My husband called All About Air, got the run-around between the receptionist and the owner, and after about a week of calling, they finally came out to “re-clean” what they had already charged someone for cleaning. The employee who was sent out was very rude, drug a garden hose into the house and sprayed the furnace down. My husband began to question him about the condition of the furnace, asking him why they didn’t fix it, and was told basically the same thing; it wasn’t worth fixing because it was too old. My husband then asked why it wasn’t recommended that the furnace and heat pump be replaced, to which the employee laughed and said, “The seller would have never gone for that.” Our realtor contacted All About Air and spoke with the owner. She was rewarded with swear words and was hung up on when she asked about the situation and the statement made to my husband. We ended up paying two other HVAC companies to come out and inspect our HVAC system, and both companies stated that the whole system needed to be replaced. It was too old to fix. Fast-forward a year and a half; the furnace is now leaking water all over, and the water is seeping underneath our flooring, creating a big bubble in the floor. Not only will we need to pay several thousand dollars to replace the furnace that should have been replaced before we moved in, we will also have to rip out all of the new flooring we put in, and will have to replace that and the subflooring as well.Bottom line; if you are looking for an honest HVAC company to do business with, we highly recommend that you don’t use this company. If All About Air is involved in the purchase of your new home, then pay the extra money to have another trusted HVAC company come out and inspect your HVAC system. It may save you several thousand dollars and a lot of unnecessary stress.In response to the companys response: It was the responsibility of All About Air to act as the expert and figure out what was wrong with the furnace and/or heat pump and either fix or recommend to the seller that it all be replaced. As the buyer of the property, we were depending in their expertise. They were not neutral to both parties, the seller and the buyer, as they should have been during the purchase of a home.

Tony was here doing Maintains on my system. Everything checked out fine. I then asked him if they could work on my Heat Pump for my pool and after explaining the symptoms He know exactly what the problem was and had it running in minutes. Other companies in the past said they wouldnt touch a Pool Heat Pump. I went to All About Air over 5 years ago after bad experiences with other companies. Lenny restored my faith and been using them ever since. All of Lennys employees have been friendly and competent. Tony is another example of the high quality of people that work at All About Air.

I was very impressed when Lenny Hewitt (owner) came to evaluate what was required to remove our old furnace and replace it with a new American Standard heating/cooling system. The next day he provided three proposals and some financial plans for me to consider. He was very honest, said the work could be completed I two days, and his prices were great. His proposal and schedule was much better than what the other companies (four) proposed. I signed the contract (no hassles) and was able to schedule their work to start immediately.His professional crew (Thomas and Brad) arrived on time and were very courteous. First day they removed old furnace & installed new air handler and completed all ductwork connections. Second day they connected the heat pump and electrical connections. On the third day, the system was inspection and running. I am extremely satisfied with their professional workmanship!It has been a couple of weeks now since All About Air Heating & Cooling completed their work. We have enjoyed our American Standard heating/cooling system so much! Our home now is so comfortable with a constant temperature.

I have a house that I am getting ready to put on the market, and I needed a certified technician to check the furnace to make sure that everything was in good running order. All About Air was very accommodating about working around my schedule and providing the services that I needed for my house. I had a couple of scheduling issues that came up and they were able to work around the issues to my satisfaction. Tony was very knowledgeable and provided the services I needed to insure that my system was working and that the next buyer would be confident that it would continue working for many more years.

Our house has two heat pumps, and we had All About Air replace both of them (15+ year old outside compressors and 30+ year old indoor air handlers) over the past couple of years. The process wasnt perfect - they are a small family business and responsiveness can reflect that if they are busy - but we found them fair, reasonable, and trustworthy. Neither of our jobs were emergencies and we were flexible on schedule. In both cases, they worked in tight utility closets inside our house to replace the air handlers and were respectful of our home and our needs to keep using it through the job. They worked hard to ensure we were satisfied with the finished work. They followed through afterward processing energy rebate paperwork, and our annual electric bills are now lower and our house is more comfortable.I also recommended All About Air to a co-worker, who reported being very satisfied with the heat pump replacement done for his home.Summary: Recommended

We converted our home to natural gas and had All About Air completely remove the old electric furnace and ducting in the attic, Plumb the house for gas including stove, water heater and dryer stubs as well as install the new furnace, duct work and air conditioner. They were fast, professional and courteous during the entire process and left the house clean when they were done. The owner, Lenny was extremely helpful in helping us choose the right system and taking care of several issues he noticed (vents and drain lines) that were incorrect from the original build. On top of all that they gave me the best price of all the quotes I got. Highly recommended

They were different then a more well known company I wont name when they first came out to my house. They looked at it, took it apart and saw it running then properly diagnosed the problem. They also discovered brackets that werent secured and after fixing it and securing it the way it should of been it runs better than ever and doesnt make near as much noise as before. Thanks Tony

He was very courteous and informative. He arrived ahead of schedule and the repairs were done under the original estimate!! How often does that happen? Lenny and his crew are first rate. If I have any other repairs needed Ill be calling these guys. I highly recommend All About Air.

All About Air was recommended by a friend who had them install a new furnace. Lenny showed up at my house on schedule and I found their pricing very good for a new American Standard furnace and A/C. I gave them the order and the rest was flawless. They exceeded my expectations and the crew was very easy to work with. I could not be happier with the performance of the units and my house is very comfortable to live in now. My energy bills are noticeably lower. Great Job!!!!!

Another local company came out for service and told us that we needed a new A/C unit because our lines were leaking, the refrigerant had an acid smell, we needed more refrigerant (around $900 worth) and our lines and coils were freezing. Total cost to repair was over $1,200 and just wasnt worth it on a 12 yr old unit.He gave a quote of $4,352 & $4,752 for installation of new units.Thankfully, I contacted two other companies to come give me bids. Today, Lenny of All About Air came out and asked if I wanted to replace or repair. I told him everything that I was told by the original company. He said that he would take a look. He didnt find a leak and our refrigerant was fine. He cleaned the coils and our house is cool again! He charged me a couple hundred dollars, well under the $4k!!! I bet you can guess who I will be calling for service next year!Lenny could have easily jumped on the band wagon and sold me a new system but instead took the time to figure out if that was what I really needed and saved me a TON of money.I understand that companies need business to make money but taking advantage of people is not the way to do it! An honest company that I can trust will get my future business and a referral to everyone I know! Thank you for your time and honesty Lenny!! It is greatly appreciated!!

INCREDIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! I called this morning knowing the chances of getting my heat fixed today would be unlikely due to the fact that just about everyone I called said it would be a minimum one week before someone could come out. These guy were here within hours of my phone call. I was beyond amazed. They were so freindly and helpful. I know very little about furnaces and whatnot and they were more than happy to describe everything to me and what needed to be done. Turned out my motor and fan had died. Within an hour of diagnosis they had bought the supplies in Portland and came back to my house to fix everything. The two gentleman that fixed my furnace were quick, friendly, and professional. Quick installation of a new heat pump a few years ago and will remind me when a tune-up is due...then come out quickly get that done so I no longer need to worry when the heat of summer ir cold and rain of the winter.

We heard about this company through the Home Services Network of Southwest Washington. They returned our call promptly and a very nice technician serviced our HVAC system. They came an additional day to attempt a project that had been recommended by a third party. It became apparent that the project could not be done after they spent the entire morning trouble shooting. They did not charge us a dime for that morning of hard work. They showed a high work ethic and integrity in addition to being pleasant people to work with. We sure appreciated them and would highly recommend them to anyone.

Had an emergency on Saturday and these guys answered right away and were very courteous. The tech arrived in under an hour and was very friendly. I would recommend these guys!

Their technician came over to repair the furnace last week and found out a part needed to be replaced. Initially I agreed with the quote so he left to get the part. Then, I told him that we will get the part online when he later returned. So He did not install the part. I apologized for wasting his time but still paid $89 for the trip. He left but did not put the wiring back and left the cover of the furnace open. I feel the technician did this on purpose to punish us. After all, he should put everything back to the same place because I still paid for the trip. My husband could have been able to installed the part himself when the part we ordered finally arrived. Later I called All about air if they can come to replace the part for us and we will pay. Lenny was very rude. He said we dont know how this industry work and they do not want to do business with us anymore.

We just had Chad @ All About Air out to our home. We expected the visit to cost a lot but after Chad diagnosed the issue it was simply a few bad parts. I appreciated the honesty as he could have nearly told me anything and I would have had no way of really knowing.I cant recommend All About Air enough! Skip the other guys and give them a call!

Lenny, Ann, Tom and Jon were wonderful to work with. They have always responded when my old system has difficulties. And they were GREAT at recommending the perfect system for my home. Installation was only a few days, and Lenny and Tom were very attentive to every detail. I have already recommended them to my neighbors.They even clean up after themselves!

Had All About come out to fix our air conditioner. 12 days later it was not functioning again. I called and left a message on their 24 hour emergency line. Did not hear back. Called Monday and was told we werent even on the list. I was then informed by Lenny that I would have to pay another service fee. I dont mind paying for the repair but did not feel I should have to pay the service fee when his tech spent very little time on the machine to begin with. At this point Lenny became rude and condescending. He argued with me about what his tech had said while here. He laughed when i told him his tech had diagnosed the unit as a gnat fart. He told me he will not guarantee anything on an old unit even though his tech never said that. When I told him I was frustrated he informed me that he was way more frustrated dealing with people like me and that he would be happy to take my name off the list as he has more than enough business. I would like to also mention that we have used him in the past so this is how he treats repeat loyal customers. Well, Lenny you will be happy to know you can take me off that list for good.

This was the second year my furnace was faulty. Last year I had another company come out and they could not figure out the problem. We kind of muddled through last winter with a drafty and cold house. When the freezing weather hit this year I called All About Air and was impressed from beginning to end. Lennie, the owner, is professional and friendly and Tony, the young man that fixed my furnace went WAY beyond the call of duty. He discovered that my humidifier filter was so mucked up that it was not letting water flow through - rather it backed up, filling up my air ducts which subsequently broke completely off so the warm air was being directed out under my house instead of into my house. The reason the other company never found this problem is because they were not willing like Tony was to get dirty and investigate underneath the house. So, he not only ordered me a new humidifier filter and will be installing that, he repaired my broken air ducts, installed a new circuit board and did maintenance on my furnace. All with a mature and professional attitude, in spite of his seemingly young years. I highly recommend this company and hope you are luck enough to get Tony as your serviceman.

Once the work order was in they had someone out same day and the office stayed in constant communication. And they resolved my problem.

We had no issues whatsoever. Lenny and everyone are great, friendly, helpful, and knowledgable. We had them install an AC unit, have them come out for yearly servicing on our furnace, AC, and gas fireplace. They do a wonderful job.

They worked on my home and a rental property. Honest, reliable and quick to respond.

I called at 7PM one day and they had a guy come out by 940AM the next.also told me about any of the other issues that my central air unit had.

Would not recommend. Wasted 1 full day of my time waiting for Lennys quote that he promised and I called him back to only find out he decided to change his mind. Now we are behind on our contract on closing a new home. Very unprofessional.

Our heat went out just before Christmas. Lenny came out the same day, and drove to Portland to get a part the Vancouver store didnt have so that we wouldnt be cold for Christmas! Cant express enough how much we appreciate the customer service. Fair pricing, easy communication. We wont use anyone else again!

My furnace is about 20 years old which is at the point where you start considering replacement versus repair when things go wrong. Of course they can last longer but you may be paying more over the long run if components increasingly continue to fail.I have recently had intermittent issues with it the last couple of winters and became familiar with how to do some basic troubleshooting and maintenance (replace igniter, check limit switches, clean flame sensor, replaced blower motor capacitor, etc). However it got the point where it was going into lockout repeatedly and I determined it would be one of the more expensive or complex components which was the culprit.I did everything I could within my comfort zone but it was time to call in the professionals. All About Air had left a card after doing the inspections and tune-ups at the behest of the previous homeowner when we purchase the home. I checked out various other options before circling back and calling them.The receptionist was easy to work with and was able to schedule a service appointment for the following morning, which was great as I can only assume this was a busy season for them. I got a call next day from the service tech that he was en route and would arrive within a small window of time. I dont recall his name but he was a younger guy, presentable, listened to me with full attention as I described my symptoms, experiences, and steps I had taken along the way, and I actually felt he took what I said into account which is not always something that happens when you have a professional interacting with any old Joe.I left the garage to let him do his work, he quickly did a series of tests, and determined what the issue was. He mentioned he was able to duplicate my results, with the blower motor intermittently starting and occasionally stopping on its own. The control board had a bad relay or connection and would need to be replaced. He located the board locally and one was in stock. He quoted the part and labor costs which were reasonable, I agreed and he was off to pick up the part. All of this within 15 minutes.He returned within the hour as he said he would, installation was another 10 minutes or so. He was able to confirm after removing the original board that it had probably shorted at some point since there was black scarring only visible on the back side of the board. Installation went off without a hitch and everything left as it was prior to his arrival. The unit has worked like a charm ever since, not one hiccup.He answered some additional questions I had about the furnace following the fix and again was attentive and knowledgeable. During his testing, he also took a look at the overall health of the furnace, including doing testing on the heat exchanger, and said everything is in good order. That was certainly a confidence boost when worried about having to pony up several thousand dollars for a major repair or replacement in the near term.Ultimately I could have fixed the issue on my own had I been more diligent but the house had been freezing for a few days and I wouldnt have had the confidence in the furnace I have now having had someone with experience give it a look. You never know what you dont know. The money spent was well worth the result.Based on my own personal experience, I would definitely recommend All About Air to anyone I know.

After receiving 3 quotes we decided to use All About Air. They had the best product with lowest cost. This was a big job since we decided to go from electric to gas. They also installed a tankless water heater. Lenny even made sure to add vents to our 2 bathrooms.From beginning with dispatch to install with the Meticulas Thomas then finally Lenny doing an overview of the entire install, it just doesnt get better. They were professional and took very good care in what the do. Thank you so much Thomas for the beautiful job and to the entire crew.

All About Air Heating & Cooling told the sellers of the home we were buying that the furnace was working. On February 16, 2015, they documented that the “operation of the unit was tested.”Seventy-two hours after we closed on the home (March 6, 2015), the furnace quit working. We had All About Air Heating & Cooling come out to take a look at the furnace on March 11, 2015. They jumped the furnace to facilitate consistent air flow. They also documented that the ignition control board needed to be replaced.Two days later, we had a different company come out and take a look at the furnace. This company discovered that the heat ex-changer was cracked, turned off the gas, and condemned the furnace. (Can send copy of receipt) The furnace should not have been turned on by All About Air Heating & Cooling because it was most likely leaking carbon monoxide throughout the house with the cracked heat ex-changer. There was no way that the heat ex-changer could have cracked in less than 48 hours.It would be best for my future clients if All About Air Heating & Cooling’s license were revoked. When my husband and I bought this home, I was 6 months pregnant. We mostly likely had carbon monoxide leaking throughout our new home trusting All About Air Heating & Cooling first report that the furnace work. We were also without heat during a cold month of the year for 21 days.Because of All About Air Heating & Cooling incompetence or negligence, we had to pay $7,500 for a new furnace. This cost should have been worked out in our negotiation with the seller after the first inspection on March 11, 2015.If you are selling a home, this would be a great company to use cause they will not check all the problems of your furnace and you can save money when negotiating on the price of the home.We would like All About Air Heating & Cooling to cover about ¾ of the cost of our new furnace. Most likely this company will come up with an excuse so they will not have to help us out with their negligence.

It was a great experience dealing with All About Air. Very knowledgeable and competitive in price and they did a great job with the installation. Very Pleased with the product and would definitely use them again.

Gas furnace wouldnt work ,I called the Company that put it in....recording said they had gone out of business..gggggrrrr...called All about Air..Bre Anna the dispatcher immediately sent Tony out to take care of the problem..he turned to right away segregating the challenge..even calling the maker of the furnace for input....after two tries the problem was found and the proper part was ordered. These folks were attentive, clean and responsive to the needs of the customer. Call them....they nailed the problem. .......as I sit in my nicely heated home....aaaaahhhhhhh!

I found this company on the internet. I have an Accuclean unit that is out of warranty; it is 12 years old and giving fault codes. I called and spoke with Lenny because the dealer in our area wanted $1300 to repair the until, telling us that we needed a new control or that we needed to change out the filters for a 5 filter that are $60 each time they are replaced. I have had issues with the company who installed and repairs our unit. Lenny was very helpful and understanding. He explained that the $1300 to repair the unit was $100 more than he charged for a new unit with a 10 year parts warranty and that I might should get a 2nd opinion. I am in another state, or I would have them take care of my unit. However, since I am in another state, I am planning on contacting American Standard to find another provider in our area so we can better determine our options. I certainly appreciate the help All About Air Heating and Cooling gave me, especially knowing that I am not even in the area or their potential customer. They are very caring, honest, and helpful. Thank you very much.

I had All About Air retro-fit my house with ducting and a heat pump (2nd biggest purchase I have made). They did a great job. Lenny goes above and beyond to make sure the job is done right. Very honest and reasonable too!

Our furnace quit working at our office, not a good thing in the middle of winter. I called All About Air before their advertised working hours hoping someone would be in to help us. My husband is a Facilities Manager at PDX. One of his clients, Hawaiian Air, needed service work done on their commercial HVAC rooftop unit. My husband spoke to the friendly gal at dispatch and they had a service man onsite within 2 days. He troubleshooted the AC unit, fixed the problem on the spot, and provided recommendations of what should be done before winter. Excellent service with future jobs to be directed their way!

Let me just say TOP NOTCH they first called in the morning to confirm our appointment and they arrived on time very friendly and professional. I was told by another HVAC company we would needed to replace two air ducts. Turns out we had hole in a main air duct to our guest bedrooms. When we called they told us their hourly rate was $89. Okay. When they came to do the work the tech was very rude, said he didnt know is he could fix it. Okay. Try. He worked for four hours... then presented us with a bill for nearly $2000! He said he was giving us a break and not charging for the 1 1/2 hours he spent sitting in his truck waiting for me to get back to the house so he could get a check. He was charging $149 per hour NOT $89. I then called the company and asked if I had them come out and repair my heat pump what do they charge per hour? $89... HMMMM. He wouldnt even let me see the bill. He said they would send it. Two weeks later.... we still havent seen a bill. If we hadnt given him a check that day he said he would go out and tear apart whay be had put together!! VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. VERY RUDE.

I live in southern Oregon & have a rental house in Washougal, Wa.My renter called with a heater problem - again.My tenant suggested we try a different repair company & he said he had heard good things about All About Air Heating & Cooling. So we tried them & the problem got fixed right this time. What a relief, that I did not have to go up there to handle the problem.Lenny did it right & I am grateful.Would I recommend Lenny to a friend ? YES

I called Lenny at All About Air on a Saturday because my HVAC unit was down, I trouble shot the problem by researching the web and found that my capacitor was bad. I could not find one anywhere on a Saturday. All About Air was closed until Monday, knowing that he was going to miss out on the repair for my HVAC he still went out of his way to sell me a capacitor. After I first made the call to Lenny my HVAC was back online making cold air in only 2 hrs. That is what I call customer service, it does not get any better than that. I scheduled an appt. with Lenny to fix my a/c unit and talk with him about a new system. He said he would be at my house at 10am the next day. Well by 12:30 no one had showed and no one had called me to say they were going to be late. So I call. No answer. I leave a message. 1:30pm still no call back and no one at my house yet. I call again. Leave another message. 2pm I get a call from the office girl saying someone would be at my house sometime before 6pm. So I tell her I have to catch up on errands since I waited home all morning, and to call me before they were on their way. 15min later she calls back and says theyre on their way. I stop what Im doing and drive back home. Chad is there and filling my A/C unit with freon. He explains that the unit was turned off and he had already filled it with 2lbs of freon. Im positive the unit was on as we had been using it the prior week. After approx one hour. He says we may have a slow leak but he didnt know where it would be, and that he could put leak stop in it for another $100 plus another $89 labor charge, but it was up to me. He didnt seem to really want to do it, so I told him I would just wait and see how things went with the refill of freon. So he gave me the bill of $300 for the hour it took him to fill my unit with 2 lbs of freon, and I asked if he offered any kind of warranty for the work done today.. He explained that if the unit should stop cooling, there would not be another $89 service call fee, only a charge for any parts and labor. Well 7 days later, (wed.) the unit stops working. I call Lenny and again leave a message. No call back. So I call again the following day, (thurs) and leave another message. Fri. afternoon, Lenny calls me back, I tell him the problem and he says hell have Chad come and take care of it. Chad arrives and immediately tells me there will be a $134 service call charge and $134 per hour charge because of the holiday. (I guess they took a holiday the day prior to the 4th.) I reminded him that he told me there would me no additional service call charge if the unit failed to cool. He said that Lenny told him he would not warranty my unit because of its age. I told him that was not stated on the invoice anywhere and never mentioned in my conversation with Lenny that morning. He said I would have to take it up with Lenny and that he was probably going to take the heat anyway for showing up at my house. So I call Lenny and leave a message. No call back. I call again 6 hours later and leave another message. Today is 3 days later and I still have not heard back from him. This in my opinion is as unprofessional as they come. On one hand I am very grateful that Lenny never showed up to talk with me about a new system. I would have really gotten shafted. I do not advise using this company. Chad is very good at passing the buck and Lenny is great at not answering calls. I will be posting this review with every other site that receives reviews for All About Air. There are many other reputable companies out there and it was my mistake to base my decision on a few biased reviews on this companys web site. Perhaps they only allow the positive ones. But seriously consider what Im saying before you spend a lot of money and they no longer honor their word.
