H-O-R-R-I-B-L-E. Dirty - very rude and argumentative owner - I was unhappy with my nails and the owner decided to raise her voice and criticize me when I was unhappy with how my nails looked. Another lady tried to fix the shape and I’ve never seen such inconsistent shapes on each individual nail in my life. I also saw another young lady return to the salon with her mother - complaining that one of her nails was sticky and unfinished. The owner told them to wait outside (in the heat??). Atrocious! Do not go here! Horrible customer service - and horrible quality.

I haven’t gotten my nails done since COVID started. I felt like the salon took great pro-cations, everyone was wearing a mask and staying distance from one another. I decided to get the deluxe pedicure and it didn’t disappoint. House of Hue is a very beautiful salon: gorgeous lighting fixtures, big TVs you can watch, and comfortable massage chairs. My nail technician was wonderful and gentle, she got a lot of dead skin off the bottom of my feet. The hot stone treatment was just divine! She was very precise on getting my cuticles in order, too. She applied the nail polish great and got the access nail polish off my skin.House of Hue will be my go-to nail salon from now on!

It seems like there was a bit of a kerfuffle with the scheduling causing me to wait quite a while. However, once the confusion cleared, the team pulled together and got me taken care of in a very professional way. Nails look great and toes look great!

Its a typical nail salon. I opted for hard gel nails and they lasted for Literally 2 days before breaking in half. The owner is apparently pretty good at performing that particular service but I got someone else. And when I tried to walk in to get them taken of, after waiting the requisite hour, I was almost turned away Again. Not my favorite place but if you need a place to get nails done, theyre available

When you ask the owner of the store what their Venmo is, you’d expect them to make sure it’s correct before they tell you to send $50 to the wrong account. After they made me Venmo the wrong person they held me in the store until I sent them $50 more on top of the $50 they made me send to the wrong business. The male owner was so rude and treated the situation like it was my fault. Unprofessional although no hate to the girl that did my nails she did great. Just wish she had a better more professional boss. If I could select 0 stars I would. Never go here.

Customer service was horrible if I could give 0 stars I would. They were very arrogant and gave dirty looks to customers. My nails looked horrible, uneven, crooked and nail polish was bubbly. I would say if you want your nails to look good find another salon. Very unprofessional and very sorry I found this place.

I have been coming to house of hue since they first opened and Chelsea (the owner) has been doing my nails since even before them. I have always had nothing but great experiences throughout the years, the staff is always friendly and accommodating and the salon is stylish and sparkling clean. Service and quality is top notch. Highly recommend house of hue!

Came in for a pedicure on 4/3 and the person who did my toes hurt me..When I left my big toes were sore,by the next day they were red and discharging. Im diabetic so will now be calling my dr for antibiotics. Just really sucks..I waited over a year due to the pandemic prior to getting my toes done again. I have never had this happen. Very unhappy customer.

I have been to a lot of nail salons in Vacaville. I looked up different nail salons in Vacaville and came across some reviews of House of Hues. I seen some nails I liked done by Holly. So I decided to give them a try. I called yesterday to make an appointment with Holly and just finished getting them done. The service was great. Holly really took her time to explain what the baby boomer design I wanted was and how each time for a fill I can change the colors. She also took her time to do my nails and asked question about how I wanted them to look. Needless to say I have found my new nail salon.Updated review: after going to House of Hue four times (I liked how they looked the first few days) they lifted each time. One of the guys maybe the owner said to come back if they start to lift to get fixed. They lifted all of the times i went. Who has time to go to the nails salon multiple times because their nails lifted?

I have never had such a bad experience at a nail salon. I just moved to California from Georgia and have been looking for a new home nail salon. I did some research and from the pictures I thought this place looked the most clean and modern. To my surprise I walk in and it’s not really a room it’s a hallway lined with little stations. I was welcomed very kindly and checked in and escorted to my seat. I got to my little manicure station and it was visibly dirty and unclean. Also, I don’t know if “SNS” is not a known thing over here in California but I kept asking for SNS. They didn’t know what I was saying, they suggest gel dipping powder, which I happily complied with. I had SNS on my fingers prior to coming in so they had to take it off, it seemed they had no experience taking off SNS. I have never experienced someone take SNS off of nails that way, normally they soak in acetone and buff. She got cuticle clippers and cut off as much of the top layer as she could. She then began putting base coat on and she Had to RESTART 3 TIMES!!!!!! She could not figure out why it was not drying and kept messing up, so then she buffed my nails over and over with the nail drill to the point my nail is almost no more. She then finally started After the 3rd try and I encouraged her, “3rd times the charm! I believe in you”. From the very beginning I showed her a picture of the shape I wanted and she made my nails super square when the picture was a subtle square with narrow sides and a little rounded on the sides. She made it completely square. At the end I had finally built up enough courage to ask her to narrow it a little bit and round it out, then the male secretary and greeter came over and told me that I needed to communicate better, that I should have asked her in the beginning and so on and how my nails weren’t long enough for her to round out. I didn’t say a word and tried to just hold my tongue. He walked away and the 2 guests next to me looked at me wide-eyed like, “did that just happen”.So all this to say, not a great experience. Unhappy with the customer service, unhappy with my nails, and unhappy with the cleanliness.Save yourself and try somewhere else. Praying I don’t get a fungus from this experience.

I’ve been going to Chelsea for my nails forever she is fast and amazing. Tracy is awesome for pedicure, especially nice massage. Nice vibe and look of salon, next to a Starbucks, and the variety of colors, glitters, and art is awesome.

The lady that did my nails was SUPER nice. However, I came to the salon at about 6 and it closes at 7. They obviously wanted to go home and the lady rushed my nails. All I got was a gel manicure. My nails weren’t even and the polish pooled to the front of my nails and left big bubbles. The polish on one of my thumbs already came off! I was not satisfied.

Ive been getting nails done here once a month since May 2018. I have never had a bad experience, the longest Ive had to wait was 15mins. Ive had 4 different technicians do my nails, and they were all great. I am sad to be moving because I will have to find a new place hopefully as good as this one!

I paid $120 for a full set and a pedicure my pedicure was extremely messy and it was gel some of it was on my skin! One of my nail broke not even two days into having the full set, two more nails broke before the first week. Im very dissatisfied

I have been going for over 3 months. Each time it is something different with the manager. He is very rude and disrespectful to people. One time he was very disrespectful and rude to his wife in front of customers. Not at all professional. I called today to inquire about hours since it is holiday weekend and once again he displayed his rudeness and replied I can look it up on line. Well that is it for me.

Went here with my sister to get a LONG full set! Their tip werent long at all. The nail lady spoke to the others like she had to get permission or something lol she let me know it was Xtra which I didnt care about. She tried shaping them as best she could but I still wasnt happy, than she let me know that they dont do LONG NAILS!! But she was doing her best to make me happy. The Swarovski crystals she put clear gel polish over it so now you cant see the shine of the crystals! Most of my nails are different lengths and shapes. I wont be going back!

Nice atmosphere, many services available and friendly staff.

The place is clean and the people are nice. But... dip powder is supposed to come with a gentle buffing of your nails, and you dont use shellac top coat and the uv dryer. Dip Powder is supposed to have its own polish and bonder. And there is no uv lamp used. Thats one of the benefits of it. Doubt Ill be back.

I went to House of Hues due to YELP reviews, and to be fair, I was not initially pleased with the work quality. HOWEVER, the owner, Mr. Phuong, took care of me, and I contacted him directly via Yelp messenger and he was very apologetic. I came to realize that the disgruntled worker that initially did my nails, was careless, and it was no fault of Mr. Phuong.They redid my nails for FREE, and yet I still tipped them $10.Positives:---I was genuinely pleased that Mr. Phuong hired not just Vietnamese, I saw Caucasian, Spanish specialists and was kind of shocked, which told me that Mr. Phuong has an open mind of who works for him at his salon.---Very pleased with the high tech equipment, cleanliness and the variety of choices that one can choose from---The owner and his wife, Chelsea (who runs the Chelseas Nails in Vacaville) are a husband and wife team that just expanded to another location which is currently House of Hues (therefor there is still adjustment being made with the technicians, however they are handling it nicely)Last thought...the recent Google Review from an obvious racist, unhappy and disgruntled person (making comments about speaking in a different language ---this is actually normal for a nail tech shop---(if you actually frequented them you would know that), and making accusations about not paying taxes (which we ALL know is a federal crime) is unwarranted, and it is quite obvious that the review is bogus.Perhaps Google will see this (in which my confidence level in them in 1000%) and flag your review.

This is such a great family owned nail shop. I used to go to their old spot near the police station, but since they moved I had to follow them, of course. The staff is so friendly and start up conversations with you while they work on your pedi or mani. The owners are super awesome people, the last time I went in the husband helped me find the perfect Pedi for me without trying to upsell, which tells me he cares more about customer satisfaction rather than money.I read some reviews about people not enjoying them speaking in other languages... lol Which is something you will likely get at any nail shop in the area. Its easier for them to speak in their native language, especially when it is work related. This is America, we are a boiling pot of humans from all over the world. Get over yourself.Will definitely be back!
