Has to be the worst pizza I’ve had. Not trying to be rude but it’s just my honest opinion. Stale, cold, too much sauce, falling apart. Buffet was hardly stocked, it tasted like school pizza. I would recommend going to Ken’s over Gatti’s.

We have been to Mr. Gattis Pizza several times and it is great! The food is great and the service has always been helpful. For someone who is in a wheelchair, it is a huge advantage. Trust me, I speak with a lot of experience!The tables are spaced out just right. So that makes it easier to get a chance to sit down and talk or to eat a meal!  ...After the pandemic hit, most people would avoid going out to eat. But it is ok, I am excited to have the opportunity to get out and enjoy the town.  ...

We were in Tyler for a short amount of time to do a little shopping. It takes us 45 minutes to get there. I had already looked up Mr. Gatti’s before we left because we haven’t had it in years, there’s not one around us. After reading the reviews I second-guessed myself because they were less than great but we were near and decided to check it out anyway and boy am I glad we did! We walked in around 8 pm and the place was extremely clean. We got our pizza and sat down. Now remind you, it was 8 o’clock and there’s a note saying the buffet closes at 8:30 and I know that means no new food will be placed out. However, close to 830 I asked if there would be one more pepperoni pizza placed out I was originally told no ma’am but then one of the employees named Ross said yes ma’am absolutely we will get that for you. He not only placed out a completely fresh pepperoni pizza but also macaroni for my son. This young man named Ross was clearly in charge, extremely courteous and respectful. He was nice to the employees but also made sure things were running smoothly. Because of Ross, we will definitely be back. Mr. Gatti’s is a classic!

I have never had a bad experience here. The employees are nice and helpful. The place is clean and organized. Usually I dont eat at buffets because of cleanliness concerns, but I will eat here.They also have games to keep you entertained.Good prices!

A lot of the games were down. Pizza was.. Different. The taste is unique. Im not sure what it is but we werent big fans. Mac and cheese and salad was all we wound up eating. Then I got sick about an hour later. Not sure if the two are connected but it seems to be a food poison type sickness..

I honestly dont know how this place is still in business. The last time I went months ago it was awful too but I just had to give it another chance. All the pizza was old and hard to chew. The corn had been out so long it had turned a yucky brown color. The salad was alright but if I just wanted salad I would have went somewhere else. My toddler was with me who absolutely loves pizza and hes learning to talk in sentences he said a new word today- dont. i dont like.no good. Which was sad but true. It was definitely disappointing. Dont waste your money or your precious time.. Go somewhere else. I will definitely not be back in to give it a third chance.

We went today it had been 2 years since we last ate at Gatti’s .. and we were very disappointed the Sauces they had for the pasta we’re almost empty and dry.. they only had about 12 costumers there and about 6 or more employees working lots of dirty tables restroom were very dirty . 2 years ago we had celebrated my daughters birthday there and we liked it.. but after today we will never go back or even celebrate a birthday there ! Lol

Went to try this place out for the first time on a Monday just to find their doors locked and closed. Wont be giving it a second chance no reason to be closed on Mondays. Try Marcos pizza instead

Its ok. Pizza was good, salad not so much. The game room would have been perfect for the kids if they would have been working. Out of about 25 games only 10 were working, the rest were out of order. Bathrooms were not clean but thats to be expected when its a Sat and theres parties going on.

The pizza was fresh but didnt taste very good. The ranch was very watered down, the cheese tasted funny. They didnt have many prizes to choose from for the kids but candy.

The games are a little bit pricey, but thats really what you find when you go anywhere with games that are good. The variation is excellent. The establishment is clean, the staff is friendly and helpful. The bathrooms are big, and clean, and they even have thought of details like adding a stool at the sink for kids to wash their hands. The food is served buffet style so my kids who love pizza can get that, and I can eat salad for days if I wanted to. The price is moderate but fair, as far as buffets go. I really like the pay system they use here for games, eliminating tokens and tickets, and just loading points and keeping track of the remaining balance. Overall, a great place to bring the family. Well be back fo sho!

Prices were high and my 13 yr old is considered an adult. Food was okay. A lot of the games didnt work and I wasnt given the option to combine the meal and games like the promotional offer stated on their website.

We celebrated our daughters 2nd birthday yesterday. The staff was so great and made her day so special. The girl at the register was sweet and the boy cleaning tables gave her a dollar. Thank you so much.

Cost me 38.02 for old pizza,desert cinnimon pull apart was so hard I couldnt eat it. Salad bar was a mess and poorly stocked. I will not be back. Hardly any pizza on Buffet. Very disappointing. July 17th 4:45 pm. Wont be back.

It was not a good experience for me at all. The place was disgusting. I asked for a disinfectant wipe to wipe off baby chair and was told they had none. Instead of offering to wipe it off I was told to grab a rag out of the bucket on the ground. The water was so hot I couldnt put my hand in it. The only reason Im giving 2 stars is because of the friendly girl at the front. The one busser taking care of everything out front when 4 people are in the back standing around laughing. And the really nice ticket guy. We will not be back.

Food was great for a buffet. Sadly half the games seemed broken or out of prizes. Kids still had a great time but i hope they look into fixing the games.

This was the worste restaurant experience in Tyler!!!! The place was so dirty, food was stale and cold! The beer cans had dirty tops, salad bar food was old, dirty, with other food items mixed in it. The floors and walls looked like they havent been cared for in a long time. Not to mention, half the arcades would not work. I would not even eat there for free! My kids will never be back🤢🤮!

We came in around 2. The pizza was getting cold and the cinnamon dessert rolls were raw in the middle. The teen age guys that were cleaning up were playing around and mouthing back and fourth between our table and the buffet. One even repeatedly argued with the boss about changing the trash and whined about doing work. Then the other worker ofc made fun of him when he had to do it. ALL on the service floor...between our table and the buffet and lasted our whole visit.Idk whats happening from the time they first opened but the crust and quality of the pizza has definitely changed. Id love it to improve. We use to love Mr Gattis!

This place is terrible I highly DONT recommend, the tables were disgusting and the food was not at all fresh very bad service also it’s no telling what goes on in the kitchen bc the place is so nasty and trifling

We love taking the kids to Gattis so this pains me to write it as I normally dont leave reviews. We arrived right at 11am opening on Sunday as the first people in, and the entire place looked like it had not been cleaned from the night before. Tables and floors were dirty with crumbs everywhere. The soda machine wasnt working and cup lids were strewn on the cabinet. The trashcan in the restroom was overflowing with trash and beer bottles and there was urine on the floor. The 3 teens working in the front were more interested in goofing off than doing anything else. Very disappointing.

Great place! The pizza is fresh, and the games are great. A few baseball teams came in while we were there. I thought it was going to turn into craziness, but the manager on duty named Christana took care of everything.

The pizza set out way to long. The pizza tasted sour . And the manager even admitted to it. If you know it fix it. That’s lazy. Won’t be going back.

My 15 year old was working here for 3 months when all of a sudden they shut down and locked the doors. No explanation..no anything!

Birthday party attended, facilities were clean, staff friendly. Pizza was meh*, okay ish. Had a overall good time, arcade is pretty good for what space they have. Have to spend a pretty penny to get good prizes, thats the name of the game though

Good for and smiles on everyone, only thing bad was some of the games didnt work. So the kids were a little sad about it.

So I was super excited before eating here, I hadn’t eaten at Gatti’s in years but upon arrival we noticed there was hardly any pizza and the ones that were put out were extremely burnt. Most of the sodas were out and the tea was completely out. The desserts were over cooked and raw in the middle. The restaurant was clean but definitely not worth the $8 almost $9 for buffet not including drinks. Do not recommend.

The food was consistently coming out of the kitchen hot and fresh. Had plenty of workers to take our dirty plates. Fintan was helpful in getting us crustless, personal pan pizzas made to order.Good selection on the salad bar. The dressings were difficult to read however. Would love to see red onions on the salad bar.Kd and Atlantis had excellent customer service skills!We will definitely be back!!

In December of 2020, I almost got robbed at Mr Gattis Pizza. I had been at the DC coin pusher with my friends for about an hour and we were called to pack up and leave. I accidentally left my phone on the machine and gotten into my car. I realized that my phone was missing, so I walked back inside and noticed it GONE on the machine. I ran around the entire place over 6 times and asked people about it until these kids told me their dad may have what I am looking for. This black man was going to steal my phone and used the excuse I was going to give it to the front desk, then his kids ratted him out. I gave it two stars because the games were enjoyable but none of the employees stepped in to help, even though they werent busy and there were no customers left. Absolutely ridiculous.

We go on to Gattis in Tyler every Sunday at 11:30 a.m. The bathrooms are a mess, the salad dressings are empty from Saturday night. No plates out. We wont be back until it is managed better. Back to Kens Pizza.

The pizza was not very good and they had very little out. The salad buffet was not kept stocked or cleaned. The tea containers did not have a lid on them so they were open for anything to fall into or for something to be thrown into.

Covid central. Most disgusting nasty unclean eating establishment. The owner should be ashamed and get in there and give some expectations.... just gross

No masks were worn by any employee in the whole restaurant save the young man doing the cleaning. The pizza was pretty awful. Gave two stars because my son enjoyed the games.

If i could give this no stars I would. We came in at 7:20, paid for our family of 5 to eat and once we walked in, the entire buffet was being removed. When I asked the cashier about this, she said, well there is a sign on the door that says the buffet closes at 7:30. Either way, they let us pay for a $50 dollar meal knowing there was no food. The cashier also dismissed my concerns and began to ignore me while talking to the person behind me. Not to mention, the whole restaraunt was nasty. Bathrooms were disgusting. Game card machines did not work. The prize section was bare.Would NOT recommend this place.

This place was so disappointing. My kids have been begging to go. About a third of the games werent working and then there about 15 choices to get with tickets. It was also not very clean.

Not one employee was wearing mask not even the owner! The cashier did not want to take orders. After standing there for over ten minutes I ask to please let us pay so we could eat. The owners son was running around touching all the pizzas with his dirty hands and the owner was not fazed. DO NOT EAT HERE!!!

They close at 8. We didnt know this and got there at about 745. Upon paying the guy says we have 10 minutes to eat and they wont be putting any more pizza out. I said lets go somewhere else but was overruled by my Mom because wed already paid. Two other families came in behind us and there were already quite a few families already eating. There were 4 partial pepperoni, 1/2 combo, a partial spinach, 4 pieces of tthe dessert pizza and the salad/pasta bar was almost empty.And no, they did not put anything else out and we all paid for an all you can eat buffet.Imo, if youre going to keep letting customers come in and take their money then you are obligated to make more pizza.

We went in around 530 in evening so may be the reason, but all the pizza and mac and cheese was horrible and stale. Half of the games are out of order, and they literally only had candy to buy with tickets won whole prize wall was was empty. Pretty disappointing

Seems to be under new management and new management doesnt like to spend money to make money. There was absolutely no good pizza or dessert at 12 o clock. We were there for 40 min and no pizza was set out. Only 2 ppl working and one was cleaning tables. The place has gone down hill fast. Just go to grandslam!!!

Love to see salad and pizza as well as the atmosphere during covid as they have attempted to make it an easier streamlined and protected approach. I felt safe coming here with my family of six and we enjoyed a meal for under $50!

We showed up to the restaurant on a Saturday at 2 p.m. There were no pizzas on the line so we were going to get a salad until the pizzas were ready. The salad bar was bad. The lettuce was brown, cauliflower was rotten tasting and an absolute mess. Only a handful of tables were clean.

Had never heard of this place so decided to give it a try...NEVER AGAIN!!!.. Salad on salad bar was brown...spaghetti noodles has sat so long they were dried up...pizza was half burnt and COLD....They need to go check out how pizza inn does it...oh and lets not forget the coca cola that was FLAT.

Pizza was good, we did have to wait about 15 minutes for anything to be put out when we got here, there were like 3 or 4 half pizzas when we arrived, but once they started filling the buffet it was really good.

Our experience was super great! Manger asked for our favorite pizza and had it made and brought directly to our table!! He spoke to our grand kids and helped them with their points cards and games. Kids felt important.

My first impression was actually pretty good. They have a fairly nice atmosphere and layout, and the staff was very friendly and helpful upon arrival. It didnt take long for things to go downhill though. The pizza selection was minimal and the pizza was mediocre. Most of the fruits and vegetables on the salad bar were wilted and gross. Every detail was far from clean, especially the restroom, and plates were never once cleared from our table. It didnt take long for us to ditch the buffet and head for the games. The games were all at least a dollar each and several of them were malfunctioning. Twice we requested partial refunds for the games and one of those times it took about twenty minutes because they couldnt locate the manager. After reporting the malfunctions, nothing was done to deter other patrons from attempting to play the games. Since all if this took so long, my elderly mother who was in a booth in the restaurant area showed up and reported that she was feeling overly pressured by the staff to leave the booth. Since she was unable to carry everything from the booth, our drinks were thrown away and my jacket was left unattended. Someone did clear the booth and had to have seen my jacket, but rather than take it to lost and found or attempt to locate the owner, they just left it in the booth for someone to potentially steal. I did receive a replacement drink upon request, but it didnt really make any of the experience any better. Staff was mostly friendly towards me and my son for the most part, but they werent exactly professional. By the time we were done spending the money we loaded onto our game card, we didnt even want to mess with the prize store. Pretty sad when a four year old doesnt even want to collect his winnings.

Pizza was just okay maybe it was the time we went on Sunday around 1 p.m. the desert is pretty good salad bar was decent games were a lot of fun, one of the employees left a set of keys in one of the games so I returned the keys to the long haired kid behind the ticket counter he didnt really seem like he cared too much kind of figured it was him that probably left them in the machine glad I found them before some kid stuck their hand up in the machine.

Owner is very nice! When we went in between meal times, he offered to put fresh pizza on the buffet in whichever kinds we would like. Checked on us frequently and the food is great! Super clean and the game room has a good selection. Been multiple times and I always leave happy. It’s one of my husband’s favorite places.

Call 459-2222 to have Mr.Gattis pizza delivered. Haha Dont call that number but this is another Austin TX restaurant to join the stage here in Tyler. The price for all you can eat Pizza is about the same for any buffet in town. I say give it a try and enjoy the pizza and games.

Food was ok but the options seemed meh. Not sure how you get corn dry and overly wet at the same time. For the price it is not really worth it.

What a wonderful place! Super nice, clean, kid friendly environment... Almost all games are $1 and Mr. Gattis has great food too. I will be doing all of my pizza buffeting here.

Pizzas are lukewarm, nobodys wearing either a hat or hair net, Male employees with facial hair wearing a gauze facial hair mask.

Outstanding pizza, clean arcade and most wonderful staff of any restaurant in the area!!!! I seriously cannot say enough about the entire staff here- we are grateful to have such a well run place to bring the kids.

I dont think I would return for the lack of hygiene they have. Every time they would bring out the pizzas to the buffet bar the guy bringing them out did not use gloves and when he called out he did not have a mask and spoke all over the food.Another thing is that once there were just a few slices left at the buffet, the same guy as before would take them to the back and eat those slices of pizzas. The worst part is he stuck his hand in his mouth to unstick food from his teeth I believe he was doing.He did not wash his hands after that.And when transferring pizza from the oven to the serving trays he would tap them with the same hand he put in his mouth. With no gloves.Covid or no Covid it is a very dangerous unhygienic thing to do.

Mr. Gatti’s pizza is amazing. The Buffalo Chicken Pizza is delicious. Hands down best in Tyler.The server Prompted us in a good amount of time when we walked in the door and was very friendly.The atmosphere is very nice, and relaxing. Great space to have huge parties.The place is very clean!

Really good supreme pizza on the buffet. Very good price. Nice, clean restaurant with many helpful associates to serve you.Second time there on 11-1-19, around 3 pm, and food wasnt nearly as good as the first time I visited here. I guess if you dont come at peak time, the quality of the product may not be the same.....

My wife and kids and I had a great first time experience! Food was real good, the kind you back for seconds, even when you’re full!The game room looked great! Two games wouldn’t play, and the staff had no problem helping me with that. Money well worth it.I don’t know the manager’s name, but she was very energetic and fun. Encouraging the workers!Coming back for more!

I took my step son here for spring break last year and it was fun, he enjoyed it very much. The staff were helpful and I didnt even have to ask for high chair for my baby. The food was not as great as I was hoping but I enjoyed the service enough for it not to bother me so much. The arcade room was super fun as well.

The food was really good for the most part. I used to eat Gattis a lot growing up and I think they must have changed the recipe or something. It was good just not what I remembered.

Mr. Gattis is hands down the best pizza around!!! The crust has a distinctive taste, and the sauce is amazing. I wish there were more around. We visit everytime we come to Tyler.

2 workers and manager standing around talking. Beans, mac & cheese somewhat cold, ordered 2 pizzas waited and waited until I asked and they were at the bar getting cold. The entire time we were there they were all gathered together talking. Only 4 customers in the restaurant. The one pizza we ordered was throwed together, bacon was not evenly on the pizza and the chicken was piled. Worst experience we had at this location. No excuse. The employees have to put some of the food on the plate and we are just standing waiting for their conversation to end. I waved a few times to get their attention and I came very close raising hell.

Food was fresh, staff attentive. Prices were about average. A lot of games were down and the bathroom was a mess. Overall, its a lot like CiCis with better food. We will definitely go again.

I am personally really excited that Tyler finally got one of these again.. This location is very Spacious!! They have an awesome arcade area.. The pizza is good too (so many options).. Don’t forget about the salad bar..Another plus is, they serve beer and wine.. this will make it a little easier for all of us to get through our kids birthday parties..They also have for private party rooms.. Probably have to book them in advance..I was actually most impressed with how many young people work there & the outstanding customer service I received..All-in-all I would definitely recommend it.. I believe it will be a big asset too anyone lookin to build some memories with friends and family

Really good place to grab lunch, or dinner. Nice areas to sit and visit, or watch some TV. Prices are very comparable as well! Staff is friendly and accommodating.
