The staff at Standby Personnel were very resourceful. I applied for a weld job, took a test the same day and got a job. They supply insurance and a pay card or direct deposit. Larry Wise the weld director is very passionate at finding jobs for those who come to him. I appreciate them very much.

I broke my Laptop and I was needing some extra money to get another, standby helped me by sending me on multiple jobs, I always do a good job for them, they always send me out, they have also been really consistent with sending others out, they help alot of peopleWho are looking for jobs but cant find jobs make it from day to day..I know they have helped me on many occasions, someone even picked up a tablet there and I got it back, the facility clean, bathrooms look good, microwave s, they even sell working gear, or have gear for you to borrow while you work, help with rides and bus tokens,I mean, they do alot alot alot, plus give prizes like $200 bikes or cash in a program called Safety Pays..Great Job helping the community Standby!!!

I spoke with Bianca on Monday over the phone. I told her that both my husband and I were in need of some temp. work. I made it VERY clear that WE were going up there from McAlester to apply. Upon applying, we were told that they will not hire couples (???) We only have one car. And there is NO guarantee that both of us would get an assignment, even if we were at different jobsites. We spent $30.00 plus tolls FOR NOTHING. So you would do well to ask PLENTY of QUESTIONS before wasting your time applying since they are obviously oblivious to details such as this. Theres no telling what other info they might forget to tell you.

They even provide you with whatever you may need to work on a job that day like work boots, hard hat, safety vest,gloves, glasses, tools they even provide transportation to and from the job! They literally think of EVERY thing to help you get to work!! And you get paid the same day you work!! Usually within 5 min of turning in your time sheet!!

This is a great place to work and right now they have TONS of work at the FAIRGROUNDS. You should come apply, it only takes a few minutes and you get paid daily.

Was told if I show up at 5am with ID and SS card I could work. Wrong they make you wait a day. Was told all jobs going out would pay 10$ an hour wrong again. Take these facts into consideration.

My son was contacted via phone by Stand-By-Personnel. He is a certified welder and they saw his resume. He told them that he currently lived in Texas and was looking to relocate for the right welding company. He filled out the application with his current Texas address and emailed his resume with his current Texas address. They received this information and called him. He spoke with 3 different individuals before traveling up to Tulsa. He traveled to Tulsa, got a hotel and the next morning went to Stand-By-Personnel. Everything was going well and then during his interview with the Manager of Stand-By-Personnel he was informed that he had to be a current resident of Oklahoma. When he explained the situation to the Manager, the manager replied Well, not all of our employees know the rules. That is GARBAGE. Any professional establishment should know the rules about residency. This is no way to run a business. I truly hope that people read this and never use your company again.

I have worked for Standby Personnel for over 6 years now. Its the best company Ive ever worked for. I get to help people find work to support themselves, and theres not much more rewarding than that. The people I work with have servant hearts and really wish to help people find the employment they seek. I would recommend this company to anybody looking for a job. From the top down, this company is in order. Mark and Jackie (owners) are there every day, and are actively involved in the day-to-days of the company and its growth. Mark will work right along side you, even though he doesnt have to, because he owns the place. He does it, because thats the kind of leader he is. He leads by example, and he wont ask you to do something hes not willing to do, himself. Great leadership and great teamwork! Honestly, as I said before, its the best job Ive ever had.

Best staffing agency BY FAR in Tulsa for manufacturing type work. May take some time to get one of the good jobs, but it seems like they work very hard to find you something and they are all very nice. I am very thankful for this place.

The wait here is unbelievable they will have you waiting for hours to result to nothing. I have literally came up here almost everyday for the past two weeks and had no job. The front desk lady Alexis claims they dont have any jobs everytime. But told the two men in front of me they had two propositions. I waiting 8 hours for her to give my job to a favorite. They pick favorites out and dont give any one else a chance to work. For every job that Ive work has been $8 a hour. This place is far overrated and has false advertisements everywhere. I do not reccomend Stand-By Personnel, Inc to anyone.

Im really unsure about them honestly. I only dealt with the welding department so thats the only people I can speak on. I interviewed with Larry, then took an uphill flux test for him right after (he said I passed), and said he had somewhere to send me. He said hed get back with me after speaking with the foreman of the shop he had in mind. That was almost two weeks ago and I havent heard anything from them- even though I left several messages for him. I already found a job on my own and I dont need them but they dont know that. Personally I dont have the time to play those games- Ive got bills to pay and I wont go back.Until the point where they just stopped talking to me it seemed like a good place to get back to work. They even test you there before sending you to a shop which in Tulsa is unheard of.

Communication is also key. They strive to help everyone who walks in the door; however, there are several factors to take into consideration: Skills are based off of job history; drug testing and background checks; having your own phone and car to get to and from a job and to be contacted for a job. Also ATTITUDE IS EVERYTHING! Remember when a staffing agency sends you out to a customer, you are representing that agency.

I have been going through standby personal for a little over 2 months, and since day one I havent had any problems. If I have any request or information about anything they are quick with answers. I walked into standby February 23rd and the next day I received a call the very next day with an interview. I highly recommend standby personal for anyone looking for employment.

Not much to say here because they refused to even take my application! They say its because of my job history...well as a 21 year old just getting into the workforce my job history isnt going to show 10 years here and 15 years there. I am however currently working at a place Ive been at for 8 months and counting. Plus Ive had a few jobs Ive held for over a year. Thats still not good enough. Not even for a 21 year old. These people are EXTREMELY discriminatory. Just do your research and see what you find. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME APPLYING.

They practice favoritism and the pay is already low. The positive reviews are obviously from their favorites. Ive seen people turned away without work, particularly women because they werent favorites. The racism is passive aggressive in their organization...just like everything else is in Tulsa is based on RACE and NEPOTISM not skills or talents of individuals. But, thats expected in Oklahoma

I waited almost two hours before I was told I was on the alternate list for evening clean up crew. I am not sure why I wasnt told that up front. As I waited almost two hours (thinking I was going to work) I had to listen to one of the front desk employees swear off and on so that was super unprofessional. Its not fair to waste someones time who is trying to provide for herself and autistic son.

I did day-labor with these folks for three days and I told their client that I was going to have an interview with another company.This organization has a business model that is either monopolistic, asinine, or both. They separate their day labor from their skilled labor and when I made an arrangement with their client, they were so money-grubbing that they fired me as walking off the job because I was being paid $8 an hour but I had an interview with another company for $16 and hour. These are jobs that they have for which I would have been qualified in their skilled-division, but this malfeasant attempt at trying to monopolize and closet me from getting other employmernt is illustrious, even within their own organization is well illustrated by having employees at the front counter who had a bigger priority of playing on their phones rather than being attentive to me and others who had questions about their assignment protocol. I have seldom felt so dehumanized in my live by such an obtuse organization. They got one star from me because negative numbers werent an option.For a person trying to make ends meet these people were uncaring, insight lacking, an an insult to my intelligence.

The staff are consistently professional, helpful and friendly.

Stand by is filled with people who lie to you and make promises they cannot keep. they say you will be paid 40 hours for working 36, this is a lie. They also promise temp to hire after 60 days, its really 90, the pay and benfits are not competitive with industry standards at all. A termination from a former job because you as the employee were wrongly terminated, results in a no re-apply policy.

This place is a joke! I have applied with them on 2 separate occasions and get nothing but a run around, but no job offers. Some of the jobs on their webpage are a year old and need to be removed or updated. Their weekly ad in the Tulsa World contains jobs that dont exist. And Janice Wine will not return my phone calls, or give me a reason why they never have any work for me. Do yourself a favor, and dont apply here!

Stand by personnel is verry quick to respond to job availability the staff is verry polite and even friendly. Iv worked with a few temp agencies in the past and this one is the best in providing temp to hire service, the atmosphere is great too. If you have a problem with any of yourvassignments theyll still help you find a new one just a fast as before pending abailability, but as long as you have good work history you wont have trouble finding a job here.

I have been in and out of Stand-by Personnel for a few years now. Everytime I do go in though there is always something new for me to go into. I usually hear back from them in less than 1 week sometimes 2 weeks, but thats the most time ive been on a wait list. The people there are very informative if I have questions on anything or need help understanding the job requirements and such someone is always there to help. Ive been with them for 2 months now.
