Professional service close by St Marys Hospital

The phone answering system at the St. Marys location in Tuscon is still screwed up. Worse than inaccurate, it is misleading and confusing. I hope the staff doing the work there is more competent than the people responsible for management of this testing location.It appears that hiring practices for this location place high significance on the ability of staff to enforce rules and regulations - even while being untrained in certain nuances of administrative procedure, as the difference between mailing and physical address, and the need to enforce procedures guaranteeing the integrity of urine samples in situations where the need for the sample is strictly medical, with no law enforcement implication at all.The result is that the operation has the flavor of a police substation, more than a medical services provider.

Got my blood drawn here last week on Thursday in the morning, the lab tech was digging/wiggling the needle around the whole time. Now I have pain all the way down to my wrist, my nerve was definitely damaged/hit. The needle insertion site was also hissing with air. Not sure if she was impatient or needs to be re-certified. Beware

The St. Marys location sucks. I tried calling before I went in and each time the call was sent to voicemail. I wasnt able to find the info I needed online. After an 1 hr bus ride I get there just to be informed that that location doesnt preform the test I need. So frustrating.

Despite very clear instructions from my lab paperwork - they refused to provide me service without giving them my drivers license. They also kept asking me out loud in front of other patients what specific tests I was in for despite having the paperwork in front of them. I will never be back. They have no regard for patient privacy.

Dont ask them to go even slightly out of their way. Went to drop off sample 1 minute after 12 (they are closed for lunch 12-1) three ladies just looked st me through the window.

Was second in line. Girls are just sitting here talking and havent even called the first person back yet. Mind u they have been open for 25 min. Wont come back to this one. What are they waiting for??

Terrible customer service at this location plus the Lady is busier on her mobile phone. Where is management

As far as Lab Corp goes, this is the best one Ive been to. Friendly staff , and clean, had an appointment and it was quick!

These girls have worked here for years & I have no clue how they have kept their jobs. They are beyond rude & act as if you are an annoyance to them. I should have learned the first TWO rounds when they messed up by labwork, but stupidly I went again (because they are close to home & I was fasting) only to have them argue over who was going to wait on me, then converse rudely in front of me in Spanish. Not only was my experience horrible, the bathroom was filthy & they NEVER submitted my labs. There are plenty of people who need jobs. They need to replace these two girls with people who are friendly & CARE. Lesson learned. I will never go back & will tell everyone I know my bad experience.

Employee at the desk on 5/14/14 could not possibly have cared less about the patients in the waiting room (who, after all, are paying her salary). After being ignored for 15 minutes, I went next door to Sonora Lab, which was as different as night and day.
