Rooms are spacious and clean. Staff were relatively friendly - not mid west friendly, but friendly enough. Located next to restaurants and a plaza with businesses. Room door didnt close tight so lots of hall noise.

Stayed for my birthday weekend. We had a king suite. Nice, clean room. The bed was super comfortable and the shower was huge. I liked that you could watch Netflix. Staff was nice also. Lots of restaurants and stores nearby.

Planned a day away with kids. Checked in late on Monday and planned to wake up Tuesday and swim before going to COSI but to much disappointment the pool is closed until the afternoon. They said it was to treat the pool but not sure why that can’t be done in the evening. Had some very upset kiddos. Also, was going to get breakfast but all they had was muffins and cereal, no hot food.

Very clean and well kept Marriott hotel. There are also plenty of restaurant choices nearby.

Fantastic stay! We met family here and had a nice overnight stay on 12/5. The hotel was beautifully decorated for Christmas, and sparkling clean. The service we received from the front desk attendant was TOP NOTCH! She put us in joining rooms, reserved us a pool time slot, gave us restaurant recommendations, extra linens, etc. as needed, all with a smile. You can tell this hotel takes pride in their property, and values their staff. Thanks for a great stay.

Absolutely phenomenal hotel with fantastic lobby/bar staff. The bar/restaurant/coffee bar was an added perk. Very clean, new hotel, big comfy bed, large TV and plenty of workspace/storage space. I cant wait to come back!

Room was clean and nicely decorated and arranged. Drinks at the lobby bar are a bit pricy but good and the woman working the counter was very pleasant. Check in was quick and easy.

A nice Courtyard in Toledo. Although I was here over Valentines Day. Lots of foot traffic, which isnt a bad thing just an observation. Im sure you can surmise why. Great modern Courtyard though with friendly Staff and a great location!

Room was nice and very quiet. No power at the coffee maker outlet was a little inconvenient. Overall very nice.

This hotel is really clean and sanitized. You can smell the freshness when entering the main space and room. Cleaning staff are efficient and front desks clerks are very friendly. Its a hotel youll want to check out when traveling through the area!

Hair in the shower, it wasnt very clean. I had to get some Lysol spray and clean the place.

Nice and comfortable room (1 king w/sofa bed and ottoman) reasonable priced. Will do sofa rooms again very convenient, dont have to sit on beds to eat pizza and cocktail!!!

Very nice hotel to send your out of town visitors. Stayed here as a local die to corona infection at home and cant think of a better place to stay and I live in town. Class act service.

New and clean but doesnt make up for the lack of respect for people. Didnt feel safe here after experiencing my first and last stay here. They have signs posted on the door for face masks being a requirement but no one enforcing this. We used the elevator twice and we encountered on both occasions guests NOT wearing masks. One who ignorantantly got in the elevator with us and another group of three individuals who were just as ignorant waiting to get on the elevator we had to exit. We had to walk by them to get through and not one person had a mask. Not returning.

Was part of a wedding party that stayed here very recently. The staff was amazing from front desk to housekeeping to the bar staff. Everything was done to accommodate our group and ensure great customer service. Loved the lobby area and the outdoor fire pit. Very clean as well.

I was visiting a friend in her room. It was very spacious. Ive never been in a hotel with a fancy couch/bed, nor shower! It was huge. Plus it had a wet bar. I want to actually stay a night now! Not sure if it had a pool or not. Location has nice restaurants super close.

Checked in, front desk clerk said here is your key, there is the elevator. Thats it. We called before we drove 2 hours to get here about the swimming pool, they said you have to reserve a time spot. We got up to our room, called the front desk and and all spots are reserved and pool doesnt open until after check out. So that was a waste of $130 and 2 hour drive. Wish the front desk would have mentioned this at check in, or when we acquired about it,, we could have made reservations early.Very disappointed

Nice and clean. Helpful staff. Disappointed in breakfast offering. Will NEVER spend my money on Starbucks. First time I stayed a decent place that by didnt offer breakfast.

Deposit is 30$ a day. Returned less incidentals. Room was clean and very spacious.

We stayed for a get-away and were really pleased. The facility is new and our room was gorgeous. Loved the TV and access to my Netflix account. We could have accessed Bluetooth to listen to music from our phone but ended up watching a movie. The room was perfectly clean, and the bed’s comforter and pillows were nice and plush - we both had a great night’s sleep. The decor is contemporary and fresh - really enjoyed the simple elegance. Next time we’ll get there earlier so we can have a workout and a swim. The pool wasn’t overcrowded. We went out for dinner in the city, but bought snacks at the hotel when we got back, which we liked. Starbucks is in the open air lobby, which had tables and booths with TVs showing the morning news. After I took a seat they brought my coffee out and I considered having some lemon blueberry pancakes from the Bistro menu. Check in and out went extremely smoothly without a wait. I made my reservation through their app, which allowed me to use my AAA discount- no complications. We’ve used them before and will again.

I love this hotel. The staff is so friendly professional and the rooms freaking spotless . & also close to the highway , restaurants , and Whole Foods .

Nice place to stay in Toledo. Central location

Nice clean rooms and friendly staff. Located close to family there and many restaurants nearby. Didnt have to go far at all to any of my destinations. Definitely will be staying again next year or maybe sooner.

Nice stay and nice staff .

The place is really nice clean, & roomy , I think its a great area restaurant surrounding the area . Also other hotels like the Hilton, Regency Court , Hampton inn & Quality in and a few others surrounds the Courtyard by Marriott. When we checked in they never us informed us of the pool policy , they waited until our children were in the pool to tell us we needed wristbands and to sign up for a time slot which consist of 1hour for so many guests at a time. . This should have been addressed when booking my room.. I would recommend but Customer service is rude and unorganized.

The room we shared was awesome.The shower/bathroom was awesome.The couch and king sized bed were amazingly comfortable.I wanted to stay longer, but we had to come back to reality and get back to work.

I have stayed at Courtyards throughout Indiana, Ohio and Chicago. This is probably the newest location and it is superb! I visited shortly after grand opening and just this week. The service is great and food is delicious. There’s a beautiful fire pit which is a nice feature during the fall. The pillows are too soft and are down feathered. That’s the only flaw.

Courtyard by Marriott Toledo WestI had been used to a few stays at the downtown Renaissance Marriott which is a superb location; however, the new Courtyard Toledo West location lives up to the high standard set by the chain. The environment was clean, stylish, and well planned. The lounge and lobby is comfortable, handsome, and clean. The bistro’s menu was loaded with delicious, quick, healthy options. I loved my room, the bathroom was clean and well supplied with towels and necessities. The fitness area was clean, superbly supplied with newer equipment all in functioning order. I loved the presence of medicine balls and kettlebells! Can’t wait to return to my home away from home.

Stayed for one night at the courtyard Toledo West. Check in was quick. The room was spacious and very clean on arrival. Enjoyed a nice glass of wine with my wife in a nice lobby area before heading off to bed. The bed was very comfortable and the room was quiet. Enjoyed Starbucks coffee in the morning before checking out. Check out was a breeze. Will definitely stay again at this location when visiting our daughter in college.

One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed with a decent price. The room and hotel was very clean and up to date. They have a 50 inch tv in the rooms with great apps to watch movies and videos. The lobby is very nice also with a huge tv. The staff that we came across was very friendly and helpful. The fire pit area outside was nice and cozy. There is just about every restaurant, Target, Walmart and anything you can name very nearby. The hotel was great and would choose to stay again.

The location of this hotel is very good, close to University of Toledo, many restaurants near it, the hotel is very clean, beautiful, and the stuff very friendly if I have to stay in Toledo again I will go to this place again.

In town for a competition for my daughter in downtown. The hotel was close, easy to get to. A lot to offer in the area. Hotel was new, well kept, clean. Would definitely stay here again!

So I have more than 600 nights of Marriott stays under my belt and have stayed at this property four times. Three of the four times I stayed here I have had issues, which is pretty unusual.Twice I’ve been assigned rooms which smelled like cigarettes.Once they gave me keys to a already assigned room and I walked in on some poor guy.I always book and check in via the Marriott app. They have never had my room ready on arrival. They also assigned me a room which reflect a greeting for another guest on the TV when I walk in... so I was kind of wondering when/if he might show up in the middle of the night.Twice the key they gave me didn’t work and another time they logged me out of my room before my requested checkout time.I think they must have some serious local management or training issues.Anyhow, I’m Titanium and have stayed at several other Marriott properties in the areas, with no such problems. I’m done with this one. Good luck.

Staff was great. Had to stop in a snow storm. Being a Marriott Rewards member, it was nice yo be made to feel important at this location. If in Toledo again or know other people swinging through, will highly recommend this location!

Our 2 night stay turned into 2 stars. Our air unit went out at home so we decided to stay closer to home. The room is amazing but we had a terrible experience here. 12:30 in the morning and our whole room smelt like marijuana from someone on our floor. Teenagers telling our family we weren’t allowed to enter the pool area. And then people running up and down the hallway and knocked on our door making my 1 year old cry. I most likely will NEVER stay here again.

The hotel room, fitness center, lobby and restaurant, along with near by restaurants made this one of the best hotels I have experienced. Staff was extremely helpful. Room, pool, fitness center and lobby was extremely clean, comfortable and modern. Honestly, from now on for any trip in any state, Ill be looking for a Courtyard Marriot!

Nice and new in 2019This is a nice courtyard as it is new.The lobby is spacious with better food selections from the bar/restaurant compared to a standard courtyardRooms have similar layout to many of the courtyard although bathroom seems larger.Location is nice, close to university of Toledo, shopping and restaurants.Happy travels

Guess times have changed since John Denver wrote the song. Loved the Courtyard. It’s only been open a few months so you can never beat new but the staff we interacted with were super friendly and the room was awesome. Great place to stay. Took in the zoo - also awesome - and enjoyed a Mud Hens game. Toledo is a small city but has a lot to offer.

We spent a short evening here as we were driving cross country and are very happy we stopped here. It is a new property that is extremely well appointed and thought out. Spacious bath and room. A six minute drive off of the freeway. The beds are comfortable and super clean.

Very nice accommodations!!! A lot of work space, outlets, and USB ports.

Nice newer hotel

The location of the hotel was in walking distance to many restaurants and fast food places. The Hotel was new as of June of 2019. Hotel was clean and neat. No free breakfast but had a Starbucks Coffee outlet in the hotel. Had a pool, exercise area, but no hot tub.

Very nice stay, very clean. The beds are very comfortable. It wouldve been better if they had continental breakfast. They have a small Starbucks instead.

Excellent property. Shiney and new. Well cared for. Good staff. Meets all the Marriott standards. It is located in a very commercial area so there is no yard or quiet walks nearby but there are many good restaurants within walking distance.

Awesome new place! Love the courtyards! Great room, service, amenities, lounge areas and it’s so close to great food (Bubbas, Texas Roadhouse, breakfast place called first watch, and a Whole Foods). My only complaint is there’s a pool but no hot tub. Highly recommend!

This was a very nice and clean hotel. The pool was at a perfect temperature. The price was a great deal and the staff was wonderful! This is what customer service is all about!

This particular hotel is in a great location. The friendly staff is welcoming and professional. The rooms are immaculate , beds very comfortable. Amazingly the small restaurant offers delicious fare!

The rooms were clean but the constant pot smoking outside the lobby when we were walking in and out with our children really doesnt make me ever want to go back.

I cant rave enough about the Courtyard Marriott on Secor in Toledo!!! Tasteful decor, classy design, absolutely clean, sound-proof windows -- the AMAZING fire pit on the outdoor patio... fabulous place to stay -- youll feel spoiled!!

The best hotel I have ever stayed at, they don’t have a free breakfast but this place is definitely worth the price as far as neatness and service.

The bathroom light and plug did not work. The staff said there was no maintenance available and did not know what to do. I had to use my phone light. The room looked nice (except the garbage still on the floor under the desk and the wrinkled sheets). The hotel had alot to offer but I didnt have the opportunity to use the amenities, as it was a short trip. Breakfast is not included. It looks fairly new so Im sure they are still working out the kinks. I would like to give them another try in the future. But please, turn down the heat in the halls and elevator. It made it really stuffy.

Housekeeping was the main issue I had. Upon arrival I had to call to report clothes that had been left in the room. The bathroom wasn’t clean (floors). My room wasn’t cleaned the first day I was there. I waited a while at the coffee bar to receive service. Overall the staff was helpful in resolving issues, but I would say the housekeeping needs some work.

Great location

A beautiful new property. The property reservation system had messed up our reservation date. Luckily, they still had space, even though my Marriott app and email from Marriott had the correct reservation date. I wasted my time waiting for the issue to be resolved, when the check-in process should be quick and seamless. While wasting time is always disappointing, I found it more upsetting when it was my personal time while traveling with my family and it delayed our schedule, for no good reason. On top of that, I didnt find the management staff all that helpful, apologetic or customer friendly.

The entirety of the hotel from the patio, to the gym area/ pool, to the rooms exceeded my expectations! Everything was beautiful, modern, and clean! The layout of the room/ suite flowed; and I was very impressed by the smart tv! I don’t want to stay at any other hotel!!

I came back home to Toledo for my 50th class reunion and enjoyed this new and lovely hotel. It was convenient to the venue for our party and it was close to the expressway asHeaded back. We would probably stay there again when we visit.

Very nice hotel. And the gentleman at the front desk is awesome. I dont remember his name now but he was super friendly and helpful.He even hooked our son up with candy for his birthday. And everytime we went through the lobby he was sure to talk to us and our boys.Clean. Nice pool. And not too far from the zoo. Well definitely be back again. 😍

Visited Toledo for a weekend wedding trip and was fortunate to stay at the Courtyard Toledo West. This is an excellent, well appointed, reasonably priced facility with a top rate staff. I appreciate that it did not include the free breakfast that deceptively lures in many travelers. I was extremely pleased with everything about this property.

I was asked at check in if I was told it was LOCAL hotel policy to take a $250 deposit. I was not and since I made the reservation on-line I’m not sure who should have told me. Luckily, it was not a problem for me, but it could be for some people. I found this to be extremely inconsiderate. Also, there was no complimentary breakfast, making it not family friendly.

This hotel is in the perfect location. You have restaurants and nightlight around. Very easy access to the highway and less than five minutes to the university of Toledo. I will be staying at this location again!

Nice hotel

An outstanding new building, very, VERY clean. The night I stayed, 01.17.20 the area was hit with a heavy, wet snow storm, six-inches or so. By the time I went out in the morning, 8-ish, the sidewalks were already scraped clean, plenty of ice melt tossed around. Quality staffing for the snowmageddon.

I have hyperacusis...the hotel was quiet in a peaceful location yet close to the highway and the fridge was inside a cabinet blocking some of the noise. Staff was enthusiastic and seemed to like each other.

This hotel is not following COVID protocols. Guests are not required to wear masks in common areas and some front desk staff did not wear their mask.

This hotel is incredible. It’s very modern and welcoming. I couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay.
