My mouth is a bit of a train wreck cos I couldnt see a dentist (for 2 years - Covid scared me). They were kind & understanding!!! They mapped out a plan for my Whole Mouth - Wow!!! Most dentists work on one tooth only. I am getting my money together now. I am really excited & they even gave me some free toothpaste. Made my day!!! Yes I recommend this Staff. :)

AMAZING PEOPLE!! Every person that I had contact with was outstanding. They were friendly, had a smile, knowledgeable and patient. I have not been to the dentist in over 20 years...have a lot that needs to be done and they never looked down on me because of it. There only concern was that I received the dental care that I needed. I was told to be patient because they were backed up but it didnt feel like they were backed up. Everyone works very hard to meet the our (patients) needs. They were also very kind and considerate to each other so a staff as a whole was outstanding.

The service was good but I waited for a dentist over 1 hour to check my teeth and X-rays. When she came in, she did not say anything to show respect of waiting long for her. If she said something regarding why she came late, it was acceptable for me. So That is why I gave them 3 stars.

The Spring meadows location got me in a half hour after i called after trying the other 2 locations with no success. They were nice and efficient. I was very appreciative.

I walked in and I was in so much pain I couldn’t think straight. Everyone was so nice and I didn’t know any of these people! They took a bunch of scans, told me everything I needed to know. The doctor knew I was in bad shape and she MADE the time to pull the tooth for me!! It’s next morning right now I am in NO pain whatsoever right now absolutely none!! I need a few more things done already made the appointment!! My own dentist left me high and dry. Sorry we can’t get you in for at least 3 weeks!!! Thank God I found aspen dental!! Will never go anywhere else!!!

Although the waiting time is consistently long at this Toledo location of Aspen Dental, today, I waited an hour in the office after my scheduled appointment time before being seen (no explanation was given). I choose not to get the fluoride this time to save money; I noticed that they let two people in before me that arrived after me despite the fact that they were already about 45 minutes late in seeing me. I wonder if I would have been seen sooner had I paid the extra $50. I was minutes away from leaving and never coming back before they let me into the cleaning room. The dental hygienist, although a nice enough lady, didnt read my frustration at the situation well at all and would not stop talking about herself. Pro tip: when a customer is frustrated, dont narrate to them every detail regarding your life and your family members lives (it doesnt help and its not appropriate). I wouldve said please stop talking had she not had sharp implements in my mouth at the time. As a clinician myself, I know how to read a patient (its not difficult). Apparently, Aspen provides continuing education for staff; maybe she can take a class in reading social cues. Ill probably look for another dental office for my next appointment.

I had a great experience at this office! I came here as an emergency appointment. Called at 8am and got a 1:45 appt. I suffer from extreme dentist anxiety, but everyone at the office was so friendly and patient. They really put my mind at ease. The whole experience was great and I am actually looking forward to returning.

Although the staff is great and they have been very helpful most of the time they have now twice called or texted me to reschedule my appointment. Though I understand that this happens occasionally twice for one appointment is not acceptable. Especially when you are having problems with tooth pain.

They’ve been unsuccessfully working on getting my dentures/implants right for 2 and a half years and counting. They also constantly try to pull up new charges to get more money out of me. I can’t believe i havent sued them yet.

Wow the owner really ain’t nothing at this place!! I felt like I had welfare insurance but I don’t!!! The owner really just walked out the office while I was asking her a question about the service that my insurance company and myself paid for. Thank u doc for giving me info!!! Glad I canceled my kids appointment. I’ll stick with the small dentist offices

Dr. Calderon is super professional and most importantly trustworthy. There was no lack in explanation of the cause of my tooth issue or the treatment. Highly recommended to anyone in the Perrysburg, Holland, Toledo area looking for a Dentist.

Very friendly. The wait was long but they was sure to make it comfortable. Demerica was very enjoyable to speak with and made the experience great.

I just went here for the first time because my dentist couldn’t get me in for an emergency and they got me right in, now I know why.. huge nightmare. No one seemed happy to be there, no one was friendly at all or even trying to be other than the dentist, she was nice. The rooms were extremely dirty. There were other areas of patients getting work done out in the open, no rooms. I got called back and they did about 20 x rays right away, didn’t ask me or tell me why. I just got x rays so this was unnecessary radiation. Then I go back to the dirty room where I didn’t even want to sit on the chair because it was so gross. Waited about 30 minutes for the dentist. Got told I have cavities when I was just seen by my dentist a month ago that didn’t say anything. Could be genuine or could be money based on other nightmare reviews. After that, I was told to stay in the room I couldn’t leave, they had another girl come in and check my gums.. very odd and never had this done before. I was there an hour and just wanted to leave, I didn’t come for any issues with my gums but whatever. Then I waited in the room longer so they could walk me out to some finance lady to try and set up a treatment plan. No thank you! Was the most bizarre and annoying experience I’ve ever had at a dentist. Sitting in the room for multiple people to do unnecessary things was very annoying and a waste of my time. Can totally tell this place is after money and all the sketchy reviews out there about this company, stay away! Reviews say you’d be better off going to a dental student, now I know why!

The staff were all very pleasant, helpful, knowledgeable and answered all my questions. Everyone at Aspen Dental made me extremely comfortable except the female Doctor that did my exam. I told her about my medical history in which I experience daily for over twenty years and her reply was like a O WELL thats not what history says about what your going threw. But the male Doctor that did the service listen, tried to make me comfortable, asked about the way I was feeling while doing the work on me. As well as tell me I did good after the service was complete.

This was my first and last time going here. Absolutely horrible experience with the office staff. The dentist and hygienist were very nice, knowledgable, and seemed to do a great job on the treatment. Which is a shame, because I will not be returning due to the horrible experience dealing with the office staff.Appointment times were not booked properly. And frankly were a disorganized mess.After booking, I was called by the office staff and asked to move my appointment time. Unfortunately I couldnt adjust due to work conflicts. I apologized but said I needed to keep my original time. The person on the phone sounded annoyed and basically hung up on me. No clarification of when the appoints were actually booked for - which is pretty normal for any kind of call like that. Rude but whatever, not that big of a deal.When I booked the appointment I was told I may have a small wait (20min or so) between the two procedures. That was a flat out lie.After my first procedure, I was told the staff was running behind so it would be a little longer - no problem. I asked how much longer, and received a vague answer. I figured about 45min. cut to 1hr and 30min later and Im still waiting ... all this time there has been zero communication or update from the staff.I asked again about the wait time.This time they told me that my appointments were booked with a 2 hour window between them. WHAT?!?! That was never communicated to me. And not only that, but I was blatantly lied to about the booking times.No one apologized or acknowledged any kind of error or mix up. The person I spoke with was actually not even making eye contact with me during all this. The office manager (assuming there was one around) never engaged or acknowledged anything about this situation. And when I left no one said a word to me.Again, the dentists and hygienists were excluded from this poor and unprofessional behavior. Once I was finally seen for my second procedure, they acknowledged the frustrating situation and reassured me that theyd do all they could to make sure I was taken well care of as quickly, and painlessly as possible.

I would not encourage people not to go to aspen dental. Firstly, the rooms are not private, so I could hear another patients entire consult, including some pretty personal health information. Additionally, the entire experience felt very transactionally focused. I was ushered out to go through treatments after a very quick visit with the dentist (and after a very long wait), but not from a medical perspective but from a financial perspective (and the list of work “required” was extensive). On a second opinion, almost all of the work that was recommended to me by aspen does not appear to be required. I’m also having issues getting access to the original xrays they took for me. Overall, I had a pretty negative experience and would not recommend.

I suppose I should have put one star but the dentist was so nice. Extra star for him.The office person... They said my insurance Did Not cover what I desperately need. They DO COVER IT? How this would serve them makes no sense! Very, very angry!

This place is terrible, all they want is your money! You can go in and request a service but you cannot get that particular service unless they upset it. I went in for a tooth cleaning but they would not just provide that, nooo they had to add a gingivitis treatment onto that. No thank you, that is no what I ordered! This is the second time they have done this especially knowing that they dont except Medicaid! I will never take my kids there again.

On jan 22 202I went in to have 2 teeth extracted. I told him they were my second from the back left side upper and lower. The next day when I woke up I was still in pain. I looked and realized he pulled the back ones instead. I finally got ahold of him on the 26th and he said it was my fault because your wisdom teeth are your last teeth. I had my wisdom teeth pulled 38 years earlier in the military. He never took a xray when I went in. Maybe if he would have I wouldnt be going through this now. I scheduled a appointment at a different place to have the right teeth pulled

Dr Badam is amazing! She has filled cavities and placed attachments for my aligners with almost no pain at all! She and her team are outstanding and I highly recommend them

Had a great experience. I had zoey as a hygienist and she did great. Also Dr. Badam saw me after the cleaning and explained my xrays to me. She was very helpful and they both seemed to really care about me as a patient. I am also going to recommend them to my family and friends.

If anyone is looking for a dentist my advice is do not go to Aspen Dental. They told me that I needed to have a healthy tooth pulled and wanted to charge me over $3000.00 to pull it and put an implant. Went to another dentist and had a filling.

All staff were courteous. Appointment was efficient. Hygienist Zoey and Dr. Badam were great, explaining treatment well. Office staff explained billing well. Will go again and recommended friends/family.

I didnt have dental insurance for over 3 years and of course, DURING THE PANDEMIC for Covid19; I BREAK TWO TEETH! Well, thank goodness, I DO have dental insurance now through Medicare. I called; they got me in the next day and got a root canal and crown on the first broken tooth. Absolutely fabulous employees and doctors! They actually LISTENED to me when I said I dont numb up like most people! It takes about 3 times the amount of medication to numb me. Literally pain free and the crown matches PERFECTLY to my other teeth (its the first tooth next to the two front teeth). I still have to get the second tooth fixed but I am not afraid because of my recent experiences there. FINALLY, found the PERFECT dental office for me - from start to finish - awesome!

My first visit to Aspen Dental was yesterday. From the moment I arrived in pain and scared each and every person treated me with sympathy and respect. Forgive me because i dont remember every name but Damerica who took my xrays and the dentist a woman Dr. B the 2 receptionists Karissa and a young blonde with glasses and the office manager who went over my treatment plan. My family went to the office on Talmadge Rd in Toledo. Dr Badam is an excellent dentist and she has amazing clinical staff. With that being said, the office manager and billing staff are severely overcharging for estimates. The first time this happened, my son was overcharged nearly $200. After the insurance processed the claims, we had to prove that Aspen owed us money. They did the same thing with my husband, but the overpayment was over $600 and I had to call the corporate office 3 times to get the last refund processed. When my daughter went for dental work, based on previously processed claims, we would owe $57.90. The office manager was demanding over $180.00 even though we had copies of previous claims showing our benefits. If you chose to go here, watch your money and processed claims very carefully and be prepared to send copies of your EOBs.

I went to the one on Monroe street and my experience was terrible. I went there about 5 months ago with an infected tooth, I was in alot of pain. They said I would have to come back in a week to set up an appointment to get it pulled and discuss my options. The manager was very short with me and mean to me. Especially when She found out I didnt have money for implants or a bridge. Plus it was on a Friday morning and I had to ask her if I could get an antibiotic at least and she said she would TRY to call it in. Which I had a feeling she wasnt going to call it in, and she did not, until Monday. So I was in pain all weekend. And she told me I had gum disease, which I did not. I go to a real professional place now, and they are soo nice to me. The manager at Aspen was the one who was mean to mean to me. I hope she is no longer there, so no one else has to suffer. My new dentist assured me that I do not have gum disease!

Had my teeth cleaned 2 years ago. 2 months later I get a bill for 54.00. I call to pay the bill and was told it was a billing mistake and that my insurance covered everything. Then 2 months later it happened again and I called. Got the same answer. This has been going on for 2 years. Now I just got a collection notice from an agency. How do I pay a bill when they wont take a payment. INCOMPETENT

Well, I set up an appointment online. I filled out all the paperwork which included my insurance information. I had to call to change the city where I lived because it seemed convinced I was in one place when I actually live in another. During that call all my info (including my insurance) was gone over. I went to my appointment where they made a copy of my insurance card. I went through the x-rays and exam and was told Id need dentures, which I was expecting. Then I was taken up front to talk to the office manager about financing. Why? It was only then they told me THEY DONT ACCEPT MY INSURANCE. Thanks for wasting my time and making me feel like a jerk.

Dr. Badam and her assistant went above and beyond for my procedure. Reassured me throughout and even gave me a blanket! I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a dentist. ☺️❤️

Every time I have come to the office, I have been treated with respect. Every procedure was explained in detail, and Dr. Badam and the assistants were vital in keeping me as calm as possible. Went in with the express interest of getting a cleaning, but was told that I could receive a cleaning only if someone was available. I left suspecting that Aspen Dental was trying to up-charge with additional rates. Reading other reviews, seems others have had similar experiences. Would not recommend Aspen Dental. Provide better transparency and explicitly state what services will be offered and rates during check-in.

The doctor I saw was caring, and explained all the options I had, and made sure I clearly understood . I liked him a lot. Sorry I dont recall his name, although he introduced himself. He was a partime employee at Aspen, at Secor Rd office in Toledo. I left with a different outlook from my previous visits.My hygienist was also very nice and answered all my questions about my how I could improve my daily dental care.I always liked , Ashley, my previous hygienist, but the one I have had the last 2 times has been super nice and efficient. I had one 3 times ago, that I didnt feel my teeth were all that clean when I left. And I was thinking of changing dentist.With my last visit with this doctor and hygienist I will keep coming as long as they are there.

I had a wonderful experience each time I went there. The staff is always warm and inviting the moment you step foot in the office. Dental staff are amazing. Ive dealt with Demerica both times I went and she is very professional, friendly, and ready to answer any questions you have and explains the procedure step by step, making you more comfortable in the process. Another employee Zayna again exhibited the same respect and work ethic as her peers. I had a great experience with the staff and doctor at Aspen. The doctor was quickly able to remove two teeth that needed to come out.The only concern I have is with the billing of those removals. They were billed as surgical removals but they were not surgically removed. They both came out with 1 to 2 minutes. No incisions were needed.Everything else was great.

Dental work makes me very nervous, and the staff at Aspen Dental takes such great care in assuring and explaining all procedures, and are just so helpful with insurance/payment info. If anyone else has anxiety about the dentist, I definitely recommend them to come to this location. I would especially like to thank Ashlie for taking care of me my last two visits. She is extremely knowledgeable and patient in explaining the procedures and recommending ways that I can better care for my teeth at home. Also so is extremely gentle with the scary tools! 😂 The office staff is great as well, I truly appreciate all you guys at Aspen Dental Toledo, thank you for somehow always making my dental visits pleasant ♥️

Staff is so very very kind and the doctor was so focused on making sure I was comfortable and making sure not only was I told what was being done but also understanding why and how it was done. I have found my dentist for the present and future. This place took every fear away that felt towards dentist. Great job, great staff, great dentist, and once again I was so very very happy.

Sad to say, its been a while since Ive been to the dentist, but was not disappointed. Everything was explained to me before and during any procedures - very thorough. I thought Ashlie was very personable, professional, and knowledgeable and that any concerns I had were unnecessary (I was made aware of what to expect). Every person I talk to from the time Im was making my appointment to walking in the door and tell him the lady at the front desk the lady that took my x-rays the doctor and everyone that I needed tooth pulled the doctor told me well after you talk with the office manager we will remove that tooth and they had no intention on removing this tooth at all they jerked me around and never remove the tooth I dont know what happened to America people have zero compassion for a person that is in extreme pain and then we wonder why people lose their mind and do stupid stuff today

She explained what she was doing before and during the procedure. This made me less worried about what was going on. Aspen dental would get 5 stars if i could give them. Ashlie deserves 7 stars :)

I was happy with the outcome of my visit. They gave me choices on which dentures I wanted. Then they gave me my financial options. I am glad that I decided to go to Aspen Dental

If I could select -1 stars, I would. Absolutely awful customer service, left in the waiting room for hours, overcharged me over one thousand dollars and then argued with me about overcharges. Had to get insurance company involved in order to make them refund me for the overcharges, 7 months of agony and they still did not make the dentures properly. My advice, don’t go to aspen dental, it will be an awful experience.

I have had two visits to Aspen and both went well. The staff all seem to work well together and everyone explained things thoroughly. It was a good experience after not going to a dentist for several years. Ashlie was thorough, friendly and made sure I was do okay, while cleaning my teeth. Thank you Ashlie
