My wife and I recently purchased a truck through Taylor Kia Findlay and our initial reason for going in was because we were prompted by “winning” a money prize from a mailbox flyer. We live an hour away so traveling all that way was a kind of big deal for us on a work day. When we arrived it became extremely obvious they had no interest in this contest flyer we brought in. Immediately the man helping us asked about our cars and upgrading our vehicles and didn’t seem to take no for an answer. Before we knew it they had taken the keys to my current truck and started doing an appraisal and promising us that we would save so much money if we upgraded. We decided to at least hear him out and what seemed to be very sudden, formal paperwork was drawn and were asked to sign and initial them. All the while we don’t even have possession of my current keys. It seemed extremely overbearing. Before we knew it we were owners of a truck. We were able to say no but it didn’t seem like no was even an answer as multiple people were running around with paperwork and we’re walking away paying $200 more a month than we did with our old truck. Are we happy with the truck? Yes. Are we happy with the service we were provided? No. We will never go through Taylor Kia to purchase a vehicle again and we will definitely not be recommending Taylor Kia Findlay to anyone. I will note that the whole experience was so impersonal we didn’t even catch the names of the people helping us, I want to say one of their names was Alex, but again, the whole thing felt as though we were being rushed and pushed out the door. Bad for business.

It started off great when I purchased my new car. It turned sour when I needed to talk to someone about my warranty. I call three times and left a message but no one called me back until the fourth time I call and I had to state that no one will call me back and that this was my fourth time calling. Finally they connected me to someone I could talk to right away. My next experience was for a key fob. I lost one and needed to order a new one. I put my order in and they said they would call me when the key was in but never did. I called them a month later to find that my key was in but never received a call back or even an email. It seems they only have great service when selling you your vehicle other that that, they have little professionalism in customer servie.

Taylor Kia has had my Kia Soul for over a month now for an engine recall. I was told 2-3 weeks and Id have it back. Ive gotten nothing but misinformation and lies from the day it was taken in. I got a call today to tell me the parts STILL arent in and they cant guarantee the parts will be delivered on the truck this Friday either. No one will address this issue. Never again will I deal with this dealership!

Great service. Pleasant atmosphere. Chris Molnar was great.. Only drawback is after we had agreed to buy the car, they wanted to add $1500 paint & fabric protection. We went in because the advertised price was what we were willing to pay, as we were looking for an inexpensive used car & planned to pay cash. . This extra charge put us above that figure. When we declined it, the sales manager was VERY high pressure, telling us they already had paid for it & we needed to help them defer the cost. He just wouldnt let up. We were buying an inexpensive used car for a young driver & didnt feel it was necessary. Almost walked out.

The service that was performed was ultimately perfect. I was disappointed as I couldn’t see where the complimentary car wash was actually completed. There was still bug residue on windows and headlights and hood and the outside of the car still appears dirty. Otherwise the service, maintenance and customer service was awesome.

Everyone was very friendly and the quality of vehicles available was great. My only real gripe was that I made it very clear from the beginning of my experience that I was not interested in talking about monthly cost but was only interested in talking about the total cost of the vehicle. When asked, both the salesman and sales manager explicitly stated a vehicle price that turned out to be several thousand dollars lower than the actual cost when the figures were revealed. I feel like I was very open about my financial approach to making a purchase, and the more I reflect the more it feels like I was outright lied to when asking the straightforward question: “what is the total cost of this vehicle?” I completely appreciate that it is only fair and just for the salesman and dealership to make a profit. I tried to be as transparent and honest as possible about the price I was willing to spend. Instead of offering vehicles that fit my price point, I felt that the dealership tried to hide additional costs that could have been forthrightly revealed to better stick to my budget.
