Always a good experience at Dollar General. And, so important esp now, their employees are pleasant! They are always willing to help me find something or get it off a shelf thats too high, etc. Lately, it seems like nobody wants to help anybody so its refreshing to go to this store.

Good quality and quantity of low priced, cleaning products, clothing for adults and children. Cosmetics and everything you can think of. One of my favorite stores.

Shelfs were totally empty an had barly anything i needed. Very unsatisfied. This isnt the first time its been like this for months.

Nice little store, friendly staff. Can usually find anything youre looking for, they have a good selection of inventory for the size of the store but also makes the shelves and aisles pretty cluttered usually

Looking for containers they did not have.

This place is always a mess. They leave sale tickets up. This was up at my visit. Also is the clothing aisle it was 50% off white and yellow tags. Well not only myself but others in the store had clothes in their hands. The clerk had an argument with a customer about the sale. The clerk then walked into the clothing aisle and ripped the signs down. As I continued to walk the store I found another tag. I was in there on August 3rd and the sale ended August 2nd. These sale tickets were everywhere. Employees getting mad at customers because they failed to do their jobs and remove expired sale tickets. Rude employees, messy store, they obviously need to go in and check this place out. And I dont understand why they have different sales from the other on Stafford Rd.

The workers are ignorant besides the two young men that work there. I wish that I knew there names. But theyre very helpful. The ladies are disrespectful and rather smoke cigarettes than help customers.

Cashier who was an older woman with long dark hair was rude and short with answering questions when I inquired about an item. I will not go there again. Horrible customer service.

Oh my God it was my first time in the store and I loved it I fell in love with the stuff in the store the prices are amazing its a good store to go to if you trying to save some money and buy name-brand stuff for your house

The little store is fully stocked, clean, helpful workers and managers. I was able to stock up on body wash, wipes, and personal items for my self and family. I would recommend this store to anyone who likes to shop in a quiet setting. Did I mention the manager was able to do everything in one transaction with coupons for everything I bought 😊👍

Dont waste your time getting emails. Big 50% off sale, nothing in stock and employees at 2 stores knew nothing about it and had an attitude when asked. Basically told, Go look in clearance and Im supposed to be stocking shelves

This store has alot of run to the store quick items and makes it very convenient. Very affordable. My only complaint is I wish they opened at 7am instead of 8 am. I stop before work and have to go to a different store instead.

The staff at this particular Dollar General are always pleasant. Theres an older gentleman who is always so nice, hes there a lot and still always ready to help find something or to listen to my cheesy jokes. I live literally 30 seconds from the store in Portsmouth but always drive to the Tiverton location because they seem to actually want to help. The manger at the Portsmouth site IS very pleasant but shes not always there.

Cashiers are way to slow especially the one on stafford rd there is one lady that drives me crazy when counting the change out.

Good assortment of merchandise. Items that need to be kept on hand,staples, like bread and milk are often not in stock. Prices are reasonable

This is a great place to go to when you need something cheap, they have a little bit of everything, this location took over an old Brooks Pharmacy that had been vacant for years, tiverton lost Grand Central and years later got Toms market that is rather small And over priced, so it is nice to have an alternative that has better deals! They just opened another location on the other side of tiverton where Ranger school my childhood elementary school used to be, I only wish that they would have made this location look like the new one (modern) it would be nice to see some more fresh and frozen foods as well but the selection is pretty decent. They could also benefit from a paging system as well as a dedicated stock person and at least 2 cashiers on any given shift. When a line forms cashiers yell to the other employee working which isnt always affective. The staff are friendly i would just like to see more people on especially during busy hours.

Theres always a lot of people there and the story is usually typically dirty no matter how much they try to clean it because of the process of people and kids fluctuating all the time theres not enough staff to obtain workplace

Pretty convenient for the town of Tiverton to have a store like Dollar General to go to apart from our usual small convenience store (i.e. Cumberland Farms etc) so to have a place that has more variety in town is nice. All in all I think Dollar General is a great store to have access to, their hours are great and they usually have what I need at a decent price albeit if you are looking for a legitimate Dollar Store. This is not that, they do not have as many items for a buck as say Dollar Tree would but they do have some decent deals. I purchased a Dirt Devil with all the attachments for $20.00 + tax and I still use it daily a year later in my kitchen. To the looker goes the spoils. Look around on the shelves for steals on household items you may need... otherwise... if your looking for dollar items only, you may end up disappointed.
