This is a wonderful neighborhood garage. They are so helpful and give quick service. I have had car battery problems which they corrected. The routine oil changes usually only take a half an hour .

I highly recommend this shop. It’s a family run business, and they are very honest and to the point. My parents and I bring all our vehicles there. They take the time to explain the pluses and minuses of the repairs and they do not hide anything. Very honest. And reasonably priced. 85,000 thumbs up!!!!!

They charged me almost $100 dollars just to look at my car and then tried to get me to pay over $1,000 just to get parts replaced when they didnt absolutely need to be replaced and would not cost me as much jf I either took it somewhere else or did it myself. Theyre such a rip off. Do not take your vehicles there!

Quite simply put, yes, there are still honest auto mechanics out there, and owner Dave Trubey is just that. You will not find a more fair and honest mechanic than the Trubeys. If they say that something needs to be done, than you can take it to the bank that it needs to be done. They dont nickel and dime you to death. This is a family owned business and they strive to do right by their customers and stand by their work.

I am so happy that I have finally found an auto repair shop I can trust. They can be a little high in their pricing, but I would rather pay a little more labor for quality work and honesty. They have gone out of their way to help me in whatever way they can and that goes beyond words! Thank you Trubey Family!

I have been relying on Trubey Auto to fix my vehicles ever since they started.They are honest and priced right. They also go above and beyond to make sure you have good service.I drive many miles because I only trust Dave and his techs.

I did not go there, I just called to find out that they want $20.00 per tire just to mount tires without balancing them that you bring in which is at least $10.00 more than most charge for this service. This is done because they are tying to make up some of the money that they did not make when you did not buy the tires from them, they figure that they have you over a barrel since people dont usually have a tire machine in their backyard, but you can get them mounted *and* balanced for half that price if you just shop around, which I would highly recommend for all their services if this is an example of how they do business.In response to the owners comments below, I would note that they are charging about $100.00 per hour to mount tires @ $25.00 per tire since a decent laborer can easily mount and balance 4 tires in an hour. Like I said, shop around...

So knowledgeable and respectful. Priced very fairly. Felt totally comfortable using them and will happily return for any other services or repairs in the future.

Great people who do quality work

Finally, an auto repair shop I really trust. I have gone there a few times now, with both our vehicles. I had our older minivan towed there after it threw off its serpentine belt and it was fixed quickly. A few weeks later, when it developed a fan belt noise, I sprayed it with belt lube and thought it didnt help, but by the time I drove it there the noise has gone away. Still, since I was there I had them look at it. They found no problem and didnt charge me for checking it over.An even bigger repair was needed on our Mini Cooper. It hadnt been shifting easily for long time and I had balked at having an expensive Orlando Mini dealership or European Auto repair specialist replace the clutch for thousands of dollars. Trubey looked it over and rather than the clutch it needed two clutch cables. Still an expensive job but not as much as the clutch would have been. Along with turning a brake rotor and replacing a bearing to eliminate some noises another shop told us wasnt caused by a bearing or the brakes, it was a big job, but now it is quieter and shifts like a new car again..On one of my Trubey repairs, however, rusty parts or some complication came up that made the job take longer than estimated. But the repair was still performed for the amount of the estimate. What a relief to have found Trubeys.

Love this place! They did an awesome job repairing the damage done to my car. I had been hit and the person who hit me pushed my car sideways damaging all that stuff holding the tires. Yeah, Im not knowledgeable about what does what and what they are called, but the people at Trubey treated me with kindness and respect. All the repairs cost $400 LESS than I expected to pay and my car has never driven better. While I was waiting, the owners kept checking on me to see if I needed water or if I was hungry. They even offered to get me food. I dont live close by, but they are more than worth the drive for the excellent service they give. Trubey Auto is truly AWESOME!

I am very impressed with Trubey’s Auto Repair! I brought my truck in and they diagnosed the issue quickly and had a solution just as fast! My truck now runs at the level it was before I had issues!

These guys are great! They installed a flowmaster exhaust on my truck ,and it was a quick and easy process. The truck sounds great and Ill definitely be returning in the future .

I could not ask for better service. I was able to tell Trubey that my lower ball joint was broken. These guys had my part ordered before I arrived! They immediately began working on my vehicle to fix the problem and had me on my way in no time. We were on our way from out of town and broke down on the side of the road. We were so pleased with the honesty and professional service we received.

I take my blazer.to be look at because it was. Motor. Was die on why diving. They had it for 9:30am to 12 pm and said they didnt see nothing worge with it now my truck not starting. I have 6month old son I have find rides for to doctors office. Looking for other shop to really look at my truck they didnt even test dive it

We just moved to Tavares. I needed work done on my 2014 Chevy Cruze. I had showed Trubeys my work estimate from Chevorlet in Flagler Beach. My cost was gonna be $1300.00 from Chevy. I was extremely happily surprised when Trubeys called to say my car was ready: my cost $299.00. I am highly recommending Trubeys.
