Thank you to the crew that works by the Reed in tampa - today they took time to help me while I was in a pickle even though they were extremely busy. It’s companies like this that everyone needs to use!

I live in a gated luxury apartment complex that Kone services our elevators and the elevator in my building is constantly having issues. It also takes Kone a while to fix it. This last time the elevator was down for 8 days. I attempted to tell the company how their employees show up and relax in the vehicle most of the day on their phone and then when they finally start to work they get on a group phone call with friends using vulgar language, which you can hear yp the elevator shaft and then leave early for the day (2:21 pm) with nothing done, but they questioned me as though I made it up. Judging by other reviews it appears this company doesnt care whatsoever about the quality of their business or any type of professionalism. I hope and pray my apartment complex is not in contract with Kone much longer. My building has disabled residents as well as disabled dogs that require a working elevator. Something Kone doesnt appear to take seriously.

During a brown out to my building my 2 stop elevator was damaged. It burned up the motor. The cause of the damage was because the protection the 3 Phase Voltage Motor had been jumped. Jumped means bypassed. I have a maintenance with Kone on the elevator and before the brown out no other company had worked on the elevator. I called Kone the day we had the brown out for service. After calling and emailing my rep from Kone many times I finally 3 weeks later got a price to remove it and take it to the shop to see if it could be repaired. Since it was taking so long I got pricing for the needed repair from 3 other companies. They all told be it could be repaired and gave me pricing. I contracted with another company and got the repair done in 2 weeks. I have ask Kone for credit on my maintenance fees for the cost of the repair. They offered me 1/3 of the cost. They dont take responsibility for the Phase monitor being by passed. I was also placed a complaint with the BBB but Kone is not a member. It is only fair for KONE to refund the coat of the repair.

The building I live in has their service...if you can call it that. The building has had more outages & inept service for the past four years. Management is hopefully saving money, whatever theyre paying these people is too much. Takes them forever to show up, they leave without fixing it..and when they do fix it, it breaks within days.. I sure wish theyd switch back to the other company. The other reviews with no comments...and high ratings? I wonder if theyre real. One thing they seem to be good at is excuses & delays. Update 3 months later--Another break down, promised to be on site within an hour..its the next day..still no show.. Seems like they drag out the wait time until desperation point and then they can charge more for coming out after hours... All I can say is they are consistent. Once again without elevator, no response. Thankfully our Maintenance Director is getting new bids! Hope we get the old service back. We never went 24 hours without things being fixed.

Great company they are a very caring company.
