I was in a bind late Friday afternoon. I had a stove top installed that needed parts that had a long lead time. Gas Masters stepped in on a Saturday and brought the right parts and had my stove working in 25 mins! Yay my gas was turned back on (I have an instant gas hot water heater and had to take cold showers for 3 days) Yikes! I cant say enough great things about them!! Thank you Frank and Team!!!!

We are using gas for the first time and had gas masters install the lines, meter and hookups. They did an OUTSTANDING job! They were a good amount less then many other companies I called so that was obviously great but they also did a super job. Their office and employees were extremely friendly and the crew actually cared how things were going to look where the pipes were going when they installed the hot water heater and connected to our new gas spa. I really appreciated that as a home owner. Highly recommend them!!

Dustin did a great job! What we’ve been trying to get done for weeks, him and his coworker got done in 1 day. We’ve had multiple trips out to get a gas line in the backyard going in the right direction for our grill, and they worked hard to make sure it was done today, and done the right way! I normally dont right reviews but in this experience I needed to give my word. , I was impressed on how detailed they were on laying out the gas line pipes, Do you believe me that they used a level on the pipes making sure everything was nice and leveled, simply amazed by the job.Richard and the crew that was out here are Very highly recommended !

She is always prompt and communicates prior to her scheduled arrival time as requested. She is responsive even to any unexpected issues and works hard. I use GasMasters as a subcontractor for gas hook-ups to pool heaters I have sold and installed. In some instances Toni deals directly with my clients and is always professional, pleasant, and courteous.

Toni came by and fixed the the water heater in such a quick efficient and effective manner where hot water has returned. I am grateful especially having a child in the home. The technician gave me excellent tips regarding the unit and took their time repairing it and I truly appreciate it.

Our old gas water heater stopped working and we needed to replace it with a new tankless type. Couldn’t be happier with the service. Gasmasters answered all our questions and installed it within 3 days after we called (Saturday!). The price was very fair compared to other quotes we received.

Most customers write only negative reviews. But I really want to thank and praise Gas Masters for not only their professionalism, punctuality, and work quality, but for their flexibility and willingness to help us getting our project scheduled. With this COVID pandemic, we had to schedule and reschedule the pre install, inspection, and final installation of our gas range three times. Every time something happened, they worked with us and tried to get us next available dare, even if it meant to come in late in a particular date. As I sit and wait for my gas range to be delivered Friday (confirmed), we are all set up for final install next Wednesday. Great group of people out there.

I’ve been waiting for days for Gas Master’s to come and fix the broken heater that they installed. I haven’t had hot water for at least a week.

Called last week and scheduled an appointment to have a new gas appliance hooked up. I was given a quote and an appointment time with a 3 hour window. I called to verify 2 and a half hours into that appointment window and was told he would be there in the next 2 hours and would call 30 minutes before. I called a second time near the end of that 2 hours and this time was told there was no one in my area and they had zero ability to reschedule. No availability to have someone connect a gas appliance in Brandon ever. They seem like a nice enough company that I would have liked to hire but as others here have said they are either mismanaged or simply do not value your time. Look elsewhere.

Gas Masters is a very unprofessional company. They left my elderly mother without hot water for weeks. When she called them, a guy name Bill was very nasty to her and even hung up in her face. Im seeking consultation from a lawyer for racial discrimination against them. I cant believe they would be so cruel to their customers.

During construction of a house next door, my gas line from the meter to the house was cut leaving me without the stove, heat, dryer and grill. Gasmasters came out on a Saturday, charged me a very fair price and did an excellent job restoring my services. Thank you!

The best! Very honest hard working people. Not too sure how theyve gotten any bad reviews. I would recommend Gasmaster to anyone for their gas service needs. The girl in the office is so personable, I really enjoy talking to her.

Seems as most of the postings are definitely accurate. I contacted Richard and at first he was extremely helpful with the work I needed done, but then he was ghosted. He never replied to text messages or phone calls, so I went to Hawkins for service. I am not sure if Gasmasters is just too busy, or if this is their norm. I would advise that they improve on customer service ASAP! They are not the only gas company out here and are only doing a disservice to consumers and their name as a company.

Bad customer service. They came out to quote a couple of jobs and a week later I called back and they didnt have any idea where our quote was or even remember they came out. Dont waste your time and call someone else!

After reading reviews, I was a bit skeptical to go with Gas Masters, but I had heard that their rates were very reasonable. I am so happy that I went with Gas Masters. From the very first email, they were responsive, polite and professional. They also provided the absolute lowest quote to install a gas line to our new gas range.The folks in the office answered every question and were very helpful with scheduling. The initial gentlemen who came out did a great job, but the technician who came out to finalize the installation of our new gas range was FANTASTIC. He was not only very professional and thorough but absolutely pleasant! Im sorry other customers have had bad experiences - I cant even imagine those. Maybe there is new management, or they are taking reviews to heart...I just know I would definitely recommend Gas Masters and absolutely use them again! Thanks for everything!

AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS. You may get a better price with Gasmasters than you will with other companies but expect the service to match that. If you are given this company by TECO, ask if they can provide another company to do the job. Their technicians are rude, nasty, and condescending. I only give them a 1 rating because there has to be at least that in order to leave a heed of warning to future victims of this company, the true rating is a ZERO, hands down. Good luck to anyone who decides to use them anyway, hopefully your experience was better than ours, it certainly couldn’t get too much worse.

Gasmasters is fantastic! I called on Thursday morning after having no hot water, two guys came to my house late Thursday afternoon to check out my 15 year old hot water heater, and a brand new tankless hot water heater was installed this morning (on a Sunday!) at 7:30! The customer service is phenomenal, and Gasmasters handles everything with TECO’s $26.99 plan. I wholeheartedly recommend Gasmasters!

I could not be happier with the quality of service and the pricing of my new gas water heater. I stress that the installation was very professional and the installers had great personalities and explained the answers to any questions with ease !!! As far as pricing is concerned , it was fantastic. I would recommend Gasmasters to everyone !!!

Similar to other complaints, Gasmasters came to our house in January to fix our fireplace. Charged $85 trip fee and told us that would be applied to the cost of the repair once they ordered the necessary part. Months went by with multiple phone calls and emails made to Gasmasters checking on status, only for them to tell us in September that their parts person left and it was his fault that they never received the part. They came out later in September, ignored the $85 prepayment from the January visit, and the original instructions that included a replacement remote control. Another $85 trip charge was added plus the excessive repair charge. The repairman had no information on the remote request until I asked him to go back to his January paperwork where it clearly stated new remote was needed. They proceeded to come back a 3rd time and attempted to charge us ANOTHER $85 trip fee. In between the last 2 visits, I talked to Richard to schedule the remote visit. Expressed my concern that we were overcharged. He said he would look in to it. We scheduled the visit for the following week. No one showed up. I called and he had no recollection of our conversation and insisted no appointment was scheduled.BOTTOM LINE: IF I CHARGE THEM FOR THE AMOUNT OF TIME I TOOK TO GET THEM TO DO THEIR JOBS AND PROVIDE GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE, THEY WOULD BE PAYING ME!I STRONGLY URGE PEOPLE TO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

They were amazing! After our tankless hot water heater stopped working we contacted Gas Masters who provided awesome customer service. They educated us on a program available through TECO which we found extremely helpful. They spent over an hour on the phone with us trouble shooting & trying to help us at no charge. They walked us through an unfamiliar process from the beginning to the end. Within a very short turn around time they came out on a Saturday to install our new unit. The men who came out were extremely professional and efficient! I can’t express how impressed I was with their knowledge and communication throughout the installation. We have had various workmen out to our home over the years and they were by far the best! I felt very comfortable with them working in and around our home. I have recommended them to my friends & neighbors who are also pursuing work to be completed by them.

**BUYER BEWARE - Do not waste your money on this company.** They take weeks to provide estimates for their work. When they are finally done making a simple estimate, they give you a vague date range of when they *MAY come in. The truth is, they are not being run effectively and are completely disorganized. Dont believe what they say about deadlines because they will not deliver and when you ask them for specific answers, they literally say I dont know. Go elsewhere for your business.

The estimate I was given for water heater replacement looked good, but my bill doubled after completion, with no warning during this process. I dont know how this is legal but calling to speak to a manager was no help. It was as if they expected to hear this issue reported, and there was no negotiation or anything offered. Please do not waste your time & money. The low estimates are a scam to get you stuck.

Used this company twice when Ive switched from gas to electric. Theyve always come just before Ive had the electric company in, which is great. Ive had two different workman, both have been nice guys whove done things swiftly. What can I say, they came on time, always very nice, reasonably priced and when Ive asked them to do things like remove their shoes to walk through the house theyve been more than happy to do so.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They’re technicians take weeks to get back to you with estimates. If you contact them regarding the job, they either don’t know when they’ll start the job or they’ll tell you “sometime next week”. Not to mention, the staff is extremely rude and disrespectful, they aren’t helpful and do whatever they can to avoid getting to a solution. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY WITH THIS COMPANY.

I called to see what happened and the lady on the phone was rude, yelling at me then put me on hold without telling me she was putting me on hold. I will never use them again. I just hired gasmasters stay away the worst decision. Service personnel was great but the office REP before install I was quoted 1372.00 and after install I was told to pay 2567.00 and was threatened to be sent to collection. I paid my bill and told the owner I would report his company to better business bureau. Please save your money and stay away.

I called them for extending an existing gas line service, they came to take a look and told me they would call or send me an email the quote and schedule of the job. I waited, waited and waited, have not received any call nor email after one week, so I called them to check several times, everytime I called I got the same answer we can not make schedule, we will check your location and call you back tomorrow morning, until I now I still dont hear from them. I give up.

Have used this company twice. First to install tankless water heater. Second to repair it . The tech showed up the first time and said that they dont work on things over 5 years old. Took a look and got snarky about not having a clean out hook up. I didnt install any told him they did and said it was maintenance free. Wrong! Took 3 more times to get hot water to stay on. Found out needed new igniters. On last trip he cut the cover door to keep it from shorting the old igniter. Also found that to keep the door from shorting the unit he left the base partially unsecured. Now not waterproof and this unit is mounted outside. Didnt have the correct part and have me the numbers to order myself. Told him to order before he left. Have been waiting 2 months and have decided to report this to the manufacturer and get another company. They destroyed the unit and dont care. Only one star as no negative stars available.Update 2-23-19Finally got fed up with no response from Gasmasters and contacted Hawkins Service and Tommy Yates took 15 minutes to assess and repair the damage to the unit. They crimped a wire that caused the unit to short out. Unit now works properly; even though the door was cut up on the inside. Will NEVER use Gasmasters again and shall inform TECO and Rinnai of the shoddy work.

I have used Gasmasters 2 times in the last year. They did a great job hooking up the gas line to my generator, and recently installed a new tankless water heater. Both times they went above and beyond to do the job right and charged me exactly what was quoted. With the water heater the techs stayed until after 8pm to get us hot water again. I have a family of 5 and everyone loves this Rinnai RL94 and I am happy we made the switch to tankless. I can recommend Gasmasters services highly.

I have had a horrible experience with the company. I even spoke with Frank Winters the president who told me he would take care of this. We have had a fireplace waiting for repairs and parts from these guys for 7 months. They took the money though. Nothing should take 7 months. Cant get a call back or refund. GO to anyone but these guys! What a terrible company.

My cousin called gasmasters go one estimate sent him and after tech install tankless waterheater he was charged 1000.00 more than was threatened to get sent to collection if it wasnt paid. Poor business practice and they are know for doing this stay away they are in business to rip hard working people. Owner was also disrespectfull and no admittance its wrong doing. STAY AWAY THEY A CROOKS.

We had our gas hot water heater go out on Monday. Reported it to Service America, who made an appt to come out on Thursday. Instead of coming out, the technician called us instead and told us based on information given, that he would have to order parts. I explained that we have already been without hot water for 3 days. He said to let him see what he could do and then would call me back. Service America tech didnt call me back, but he had the scheduling dept to call me back to advise that they would not have the part(s) until June 13th and that is the earliest we could get this repaired. They charged me the service charge, even though he never came out. I knew the useful life on a water heater is about 10 yrs, so I started calling around. I called 5 places, and out of 5 places I called, Gasmasters of Tampa was the only one who gave me options. They made arrangements to have a new water heater installed that day. They even made me aware of a service from TECO Gas where we can get a new water heater for $599 with arrangements from TECO that we pay $10 extra each month for 5 yrs. To be paid in full if we ever sell the home. We can even pay it off if we chose to, and those options helped us a lot. I can not say enough great things about Gasmasters. When Home Depot wanted to come out that day, but charge us $1280 for a new water heater, and every other company saying they would have to send someone out to look at it first , then come back another day to repair or replace, I just couldnt wait for hot water any more. Gasmasters is who I will call from now on. Hands down.

Dont go to these guys with any kind of timeline in mind. over 6 weeks ago i set up an appointment for them to bid a small project. i had to email them two times for the bid after they came out. i should have known, that if you have to chase someone to throw money at them, it will probably be a headache over the entire project.Then, i had to change something and asked for an update, and asked for an update, and called for an update, and then 11 days later i got the update. i accepted the new lower price but they were backed up for weeks to fit you in. two weeks later after accepting the new proposal, they show up to do it with the old proposal but didnt bring digging equipment. that will be another week and a day at the earliest to get someone else who can dig out. Ive got something going on that i planned over six weeks ago, what if i pay overtime nah they are fine. they dont want money, apparently, they just want the pride of Mastering Gas, time frames be damned.

Canceled due to the weather and truck not working. Didnt even apologize for the inconvenience. When I told him that he should apologize out of professional courtesy and the inconvenience, he said he was old enough that he didnt need a lesion on etiquette. Seems like they dont care since they are recommended by TECO but as you can tell from the other reviews, others are not happy with them.

Went to a tankless heater. Paid as quoted, servicemen were very professional. I would use them again.

The man that came out told me he would find parts needed. After three phone calls to him, he never followed through and could care less. We had to start all over.
