I went in asking for stiletto nails and they gave me nails that looked like a child had put a piece of playdoh on my nail they were flimsy and horrible. I asked her to redo them because they looked horrible so I asked her to just do a Normal square shape and she was mad and started rushing that she ended up cutting the side of my finger with the nail filer. I have never wrote a complaint or a review on anyone’s business but this just made me mad I was in there for a long time and I spend my money for no reason!

My sister in law and I went for a pedi. There was greeting, bad attitude. After seeing that we decided not to get anything else done and we kindly told them we will not be taking any other services. The manager told us she doesn’t have time anyways. Everytime I ask a question the lady who was working on my pedi would roll her eyes. I will never go back to this place.

If you need a quick/good regular mani/pedi in an hour, this is definitely the place to go! I made my appointment same day, the nail tech did an amazing job, and paying was super easy (cash app/zelle/Venmo) and not that pricey

The facial was fantastic!! Loved how relaxing the entire visit was. Great design on the nails and loved how they took pride on their work.Will DEFINITELY come back for a full massage. :-)

The workers are untrained and the manager is the rudest person ever. They messed up my nail and instead of apologizing she attempted to blame it on me. Worst customer service. Don’t wast your money and time.

As soon as I walked into this place, there was no greeting and the workers had a bad attitude . When they were doing my pedicure one of the workers just brought the tool unwrapped from the back room to the lady who was working on me. When I asked them to please disinfect or sanitize the tool, the woman got really mad at me and said she took them out of the package in the back. She got even more upset when I said “I understand but I didn’t see it and it’s my first time here”. They then started to talk in another language to each other and continuously kept talking down to me while other customers were watching. The most interesting thing was that I was watching the difference between the way they were treating the couple of white customers the entire time and me. Not planning on going back to this place again, however I will be looking into speaking with the owner there about my experience.

Clean,calm,relaxing environment. The staff is very polite and professional. They painted my nails just the way I wanted. They took their time and very precise and neat. I definitely will be coming to this nail spa again.

Went to get a fill. I wanted something very specific which Mia thought she had but did not. She tried to make several other things work and even made her customers wait so she could be sure to take care of me. Although i didnt get exactly what i wanted the work was well done and i am satisfied with what i do have. Mia was very nice. Id give 4.8 stars if that was possible just because she couldnt do exactly what o what i came in for.

I am always satisfied when I leave here. They take their time while doing the pedicure and if something doesn’t look too good, they redo it. This is my go place and in fact, I’m getting ready to head over now!

I just went here this past (July 29, 2012) weekend after learning it is under new management (since approximately Feb 2012). They have updated their look and it is very clean and tidy. I had a Spa pedicure (the peppermint with cucumber, paraffin and hot stones) as well as my eyebrows waxed. The prices were affordable and comparable to other salons in my area.The staff was very polite and the gentleman that performed my pedicure did a great job. My wax job was very precise and quick. I was very happy with my experience and would definitely recommend this location to my friends and family.

I had a very bad experience. Mia the lady who did my nails wasn’t professional, tried to push me to smthg I didn’t want to do and argued with me when I told her I didn’t like what she did. Very disrespectful and argumentative. I will not go back to this Salon again don’t recommend it to others.

I recommend this place 100% today was my first time trying Escape Nails & Day Spa and I’m absolutely satisfied with the customer service! Julie did a wonderful job on my nails! I clean houses so my hands look rough and she made them look girly and beautiful!

Ive been going to Escape Nails for years now. Vincent does my fill and he is amazing, always a great job and very creative when I want a design. Mia does my pedicures and I simply wont see anyone else. She is a miracle worker with in-grown nails and gives the best foot massages. Theres is definitely the best salon in the area, reasonable prices and very clean!

I have been going to Escape Spa since January 2017 I have to say my first experience is what has kept me committed to coming back and not really trying another shop. Mia is by far the best nail tech & beyond amazing in waxes she is very nice she remembers all of her clients and greets them by first name . I stopped coming for about two months and when I came back she knew just who I was and was very concerned about why I haven’t been coming. The service is amazing it’s very clean relaxing I am pleased to say my entire wedding party will be using this facility for the Big Day. Keep up the Great Work I love you and Escape Spa you have a customer for life 💯

My nails and feet looked better before hand. Inexperienced nail techs. The powder was applied super thick and uneven, and the tech did not buff my nails well at all. The pedicure was done in 10 mins leaving my toenail beds sore because the tech was so rough.Extremely sloppy.Dont waste time or your money. Will never return .

Ahhhhmazing pedicures!Only thing that sucks is if you wanna leave a tip you need cash.The tech who did my toes was so awesome, and it was very affordable. She did an amazing time on my feet, especially since I had so many calluses. Ive never had someone pay so much attention to trimming and filing my toes; great experience.

Dont waste your time. My pedicure was rushed and sloppy. My technician was extemely unfriendly and rude. If I spend my money ($30 for a terrible pedicure), I expect at least a greeting and eye contact. Also ask how much before you sit in the chair. If not, they will upcharge. I will never come here again.

I have had great experiences here. Its very clean, and Ive had nice mani/pedi and SNS nail color and Mia is awesome.

If there was anything lower than a 1 star and that’s exactly what this place deserved. I showed up 40 minutes before this place closed and thy turned me away and all I wanted was a quick Pedicure. Had 3 workers sitting there doing nothing but I guess they don’t care for new customers.

They get 2 stars ONLY because the people were nice. But I’d give zero stars if they weren’t. I had a gel mani and standard pedi done. The nail tech super nice was rushing. The next day my gel mani started chipping. So I went back to get it fixed. By the time I got back there 3 nails had chipped. He kindly fixed them. But by the end of the night they all had chipped including the ones he just fixed. Nice person. Not great at his job.

I usually dont give reviews but I liked this place alot. It was my first time here and Tracey was my nail technician. I have had pedicures for the past 20 years and this was by far my best experience. She took her time, made me very comfortable, and fixed my broken toenail.😊 Beautiful outcome!

Ive been told to ask for Mia. I havent had Mia yet but if shes better than the other two ladies that Ive had for a pedicure and manicure shes gotta be awesome because the other two were pretty good. But I dont get any polish or anything like that but I was told by a 3 women on my way in to ask for Mia and while in there at least 3 women came in and asked for Mia and one of them left when they found out she had already left for the day.

I went in and asked for acrylics, however the person helping me began to give me a gel manicure. When I told him that I was seeking acrylics, he told me it was too late and continued applying the gel. Despite all of this, he still made me pay full price for a gel manicure that I did not ask for in the first place.

Ive been coming here for a long time and was so disappointed today. I completely understand that different services are different prices, but when I asked how much a pedicure would be I was given ONE price, and upon the finish of my services was charged $25 dollars more. My technician was pleasant and courteous as always, but Im very disappointed in the lack of communication about pricing. I was never given a piece lists the word extra was never used, when we spoke about the cost of my pedicure multiple times. When I spoke with the manager, she apologized about the confusion (which was nice), but made no effort to refund any of my money and pretty much told me that I should expect to he nickel and dimed....because thats how it works. Whats even more annoying is that my mother-in-law is visiting from out of town and on the way to Escape Nails and Day Spa, I raved about how great they were. For the price she paid here for ONE pedicure....she could have gotten a manicure and pedicure at her home salon.Infuriating. Ill be looking for a new salon after today.

STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS! I went in today for a pedicure and decided to get a manicure afterwards. The pedicure went fine and hurt a little when she was cutting my nails but I didnt think anything of it until I got home and noticed that one of my toes was bleeding and the nail polish had just hid the blood. But that wasnt the biggest issue. The thing that BROUGHT ME TO TEARS is when the manicure started. The technician asked if I wanted a cut down and I said just a little to even them out since a couple of my nails were shorter than the others (and by shorter, I mean about a millimeter difference, nothing dramatic). When I looked at my first hand to see what she had done (because I couldnt see until she was finished), she had cut my nails so low that there was hardly any white at all! My nails had gone from extending out past the tips of my fingers to now hardly having anything left to them. Why would someone think it is ok to do that to a client or that a client would want that to be done unless they EXPLICITLY said so? When I started to cry (because it has taken me a very VERY long time to let them grow strong and out that far after years of habitual acrylics), another woman came over and asked if I didnt want them cut and when I told her that I said I just wanted them evened out, I held up my other hand to show the drastic difference of my now ruined nails. They kept asking if I wanted tips to make them long again but why would I now opt to get tips and pay them for something that resulted from THEIR actions? I asked to just have the other hand evened out so that the two hands matched and even in doing that, the second woman didnt bother to cut the nails on the second hand straight at all and I had to fix them myself when I got home. THEY HAVE DESTROYED MY NAILS. My bloody-toed and nub-nailed self has already sent pictures to all of my friends in the Springfield and Alexandria areas, but hopefully this review will save others from making the same mistake of going here as I did.

If I could do NO stars at all, my nails started breaking about 24hrs after I got them donw, so far 3 of them have broken its only been a week When I called and ask to have them fixed they said I would have to pay, I will never get my nails done here again horrible
