Our son been going to summer camps and classes for over 3 years now. He loves being there and it has always been a safe and healthy place for him to be. The instructors staff have consistently been amazing. We appreciated how they handled camps during the pandemic too.

InCourage Martial Arts - Burke is an amazing place! Recommend 100%. They truly take the time to get to know each child and truly care about kids. My kids have been going here for almost a year for martial arts classes, and spent the entire past summer at their camp. It has been a wonderful experience!

We just started and my sons love it. They have never been in any classes before and the instructors did a great job welcoming both of them into the class. The facility is very clean and the transition in and out of classes is very organized. They also seem to take COVID safety protocols seriously, which is extremely important given the state of affairs. The staff learned and remembered both kids names in a matter of a day, which goes a long way with kids.

My children both did the 2 week trial and the first time we went, we felt immediately welcomed and as if we were long time customers. My 7-yo daughter has been going to InCourage Martial Arts for summer camp this year and loves it. The instructors are always happy to see her when she arrives in the morning. They are so engaging with the kids and really seem to make the days fun for the kids. I wasnt sure at first how I felt about a Martial Arts studio for summer camp, but they have creative weekly themes and a nice mix of structure and fun, including field trips to get the kids outside. I highly recommend this studio.

My two sons, ages 5 and 8 have had a great summer at camp. We actually took them somewhere else for two weeks and they just kept asking to come back to incourage. They love the counselors and activities. We will definitely be coming back next summer and will probably sign them up for weekly lessons.

Walking in the door, you are greeted by instructors that make it a point to know your childs name and immediately make them feel welcome and comfortable. My son looks forward to his class, and I know this is because of the way they instruct and care for the students. Highly recommend!

The school is a fantastic and truly encouraging martial arts class. My daughter has had a pep in her step and sounding more confident since starting class. I would incourage parents to really explore this school. Its a great way to keep your kids entertained while learning a great self-defense.

Im most frustrated with their prepaid processes and technology. I was not able to used my credit on-file toward camp and uniform costs this week. To secure the only spot, I had to pay out of pocket again when I have over $1,400+ in credits from 2020 spring and summer camp cancelations due to Covid-19. Its a nightmare between calls and emails getting this corrected. Its still not corrected this week. Ill be surprise if Ill ever see this money again or will be able to use the credit in the near future for camps or services. It has sour our overall experience! As a parent, Ive lost all trust Incourage will do the right thing by their families. 🙁🙏

I am very happy with the staff and their professionalism. The staff in the front door is always happy, and knows every kids by their names. I moved to this area about 11 years ago, and I so happy that my six and ten years old sons are able to go to InCourage Martial Arts in Burke, Virginia. They are always so happy to go and eager to go there. My friend who sent his son here recommended us to send our kids here. Since my kids started taking afternoon and Saturday classes their confidence, strength, and excitement levels have grown significantly. It is really fun to have them at InCourage Martial Arts. My wife also recommended our mutual friends to send their son here, too. Their kid is doing very well and happy to be here.

My son is easily distracted but he actually stays focused during TKD! He likes to demonstrate what he learned to his toddler sister when he gets home.They offer a variety of plans so you can find the right fit - 1/2/3 classes a week, monthly or a discounted rate if you commit to six months upfront, a la carte or all inclusive.

We did the 2 week trial and signed up at the end - they have a promo where if you sign up during your trial period they waive the uniform fee. My son has enjoyed the classes and it gets his energy out!

I signed my son and I up for classes in February 21 and we both have enjoyed it thoroughly. We have very much enjoyed our time so far with InCourage! The staff made my son feel welcome - even helping him get over the first-day jitters by spending the first class one-on-one with him. Since then, my son has been looking forward to class each week - and after watching him in action, I can see that he is getting a 45-minute cardio/HIIT style workout, but in a fun setting centered around building kids confidence and skills. The staff are the highlight - they enthusiastically meet kids where theyre at, patiently teaching them the skills they need to advance to the next belt level, and taking the time to learn kids names to build relationships with them. Highly recommend!

We signed up our 7 year old for InCourage after moving to the area and it was one of the best decisions weve ever made. Originally he was just going to go there after school, but once FCPS announced the school year would start out virtually, InCourage reached out and offered to facilitate distance learning during the day. They have been a Godsend! They communicate regularly and clearly outlined their social distance strategies, cleaning plan, and classroom set up. Our son is enjoying the peer interaction (even if distanced) and we feel great about our decision. Highly recommend InCourage!

My kids rate this location 5 stars. I registered a week camp here in July 2020 for my kids, then it was cancelled due to Covid. InCourage staff proactively followed up with me on that and let me know I have the full credit to use at later time. I decided to enroll my kids on Martial Arts. And the kids love it. They said this is as good as Great Wolf Lodge!Mom also rates it 5 stars.Pros: The facility looks clean; staff are friendly and have positive attitude; communications are clear and quick; uniform included; app is 95% user friendly; some Covid precautionary measures are in place - masks required, staff asks for Covid symptoms before entrance; parents cant walk inside but do have a window view to see kids activities.Con: Complaint is a must as nothing is perfect, right? :) None at the moment though; weve joined the class for less than a month.

My son loves Incourage!! He started with the after school program and has continued with virtual classes during this trying time of 2020. They make classes fun even online and he’s continued to progress through belts and tips because of the great instruction he receives. We do miss the one on one lessons of the summer but appreciate that most instructors will stay on a few minutes longer to clarify any moves he is struggling with. Master Kim, Master Mun and instructor Josh are his favs! Recommend for anyone looking for a fun activity and place that will love your kids too.

InCourage Martial Arts in Burke is fantastic! They have flexible class schedules so you can go any day of the week if a class is scheduled. Their staff are great and keep lessons age appropriate. They are very communicative and very patient. They also have parents night out once per month and day camps for students when school is closed for teacher planning!

We started at InCourage over the winter and my son is enjoying it so much he wants to go to martial arts class every day! We are just finishing up our one month trial at InCourage and could not be happier. Our 4 year old son loves the classes and has been very motivated. Hes enjoyed every teacher he has had. My favorite part is that there are multiple classes a night. Like if my youngest is napping late, I can take our 4 year old to a later class. Or if we want to be home earlier in the evening, I take him to an earlier class. That is a huge plus for us!

A warm and welcoming environment. All staff have high energy, patience, and skill. They genuinely care about each child and motivate them to think better of themselves and others. The varied attributes of physical developed help create a well-rounded athlete as well as provides opportunities for growth. My little girl loves the encouragement, challenge, and self-confidence.

We have our twin girls, age 6, in the summer camp. I never would have thought of putting them in a martial arts program but when I researched the schedule of activities, wanted to give it a try. The sign up process is also very flexible. My daughters have been having a blast and the instructors are really friendly. They have gone to museums, launched rockets, gone to pools and sky zone, and if course some martial arts. I highly recommend InCourage for summer camp.Also, I recommend their birthday parties. I personally havent booked one myself, but I have attend parties for friends kids. The staff fills the hours with games, activities, and food. The staff does a great job.

I was looking for something that would help my 4 year old daughter gain confidence and come out of her shell a bit to interact better with strangers. This class so far has exceeded expectations. We signed up for the 2 week trail as with a 4 year old their interests change and didnt really want to commit to anything. This class is a keeper, she looks forward to her next one class and likes to talk about what she learned. The instructors make the kids yell and pair up randomly with other kids, which is exactly what I was looking for to help my daughter gain the confidence interact with strangers.
