Moved into our home a year ago. Sprinklers around pool landscaping did not work. Two other companies wanted to charge us a couple thousand dollars to add a zone. (heads and water access were already there)! Ryan Lawn and Tree game out, spent some time investigating and were able to fix problem for a fraction of the cost!!! So knowledgeable and they were willing to play detective and find problem.

This year Ryan Lawn installed an irrigation system in my yard before installing sod. My initial visit from my salesperson, Ryan, was very positive. He was friendly and seemed knowledgeable. Apparently Ryan did not take any notes about our conversation about the work to be completed. Months later, the irrigation system was installed and the crew came out to install the sod. To no fault of their own, they had no instructions as to the details of the work to be completed. Ryan had severely underestimated the amount of sod needed for my yard, meaning the crew could not install sod on a small strip of my neighbors yard as I had requested and agreed to pay for. It seems like there wasnt even enough sod to cover my entire yard; some of the sod installed was already dead and two months later still has very noticeable dead brown spots. When I asked about sod for my neighbors yard, the head of the install crew acted like there was no way he could order more sod to complete the project. When I paid my bill I asked to speak to someone about my negative experience and was assured a manager would call me back; they did not contact me to remedy the situation. This was really a mixed experience and I expected better from such a well reviewed company. Ryan provides great customer service and recommendations. We were looking to enhance some landscaping and lighting and the whole team really helped enhance our homes curb appeal.

The team did an excellent job of aerating my lawn. They were punctual, thorough, and completely competent.

I had some dead limbs in a pine tree and the top of the pine tree that had broken off during a storm and was hanging in the tree because it was still attached. A team from Ryan Lawn and Tree came out and removed all of the affected branches. They did a great clean up after they were finished. I am also very pleased with the work they have done in other areas of my yard.

They did some major tree trimming for me. They arrived on time and went right to work.I had some new plants under the tree and they were very careful of them all. They cleaned up after themselves and left everything looking good.I would definitely recommend them and would use them again.

Our Ryan team was the best. They arrived early (worked in rain) pulled all old landscaping, old landscaping material and stone. Prepared the beds. I am so impressed with this company ! From giving quotes, lawn care, billing, and stump removal every one of their staff has been so courteous and eager to please. I have to brag on Logan and Dallas who came this week to remove 7 stumps in my yard. They were prompt, efficient and did such a good job of cleaning up the grinding sand putting down dirt that we were able to plant grass seed on it right away without turning a rake or shovel. They left the yard immaculate. So pleased with them. I have had the yard sprayed for weeds also this spring and was surprised that it got rid of the wild strawberries that we have been fighting fir years. For several years we used another service and cancelled since it seemed to not do that much good. After having Ryan Lawn & Tree do some tree trimming we decided to try their lawn service. Ryans takes care of my trees. Recently they have been treating my crab apple and Hawthorne for a fungus. The trees look great and Clayton is always top notch. Contracted to have a tree cut down, and leave the wood for me to cut up. Ryan’s scheduled the job quickly and showed up on the day scheduled. The tree had grown over my house and was removed without any contact with the house or deck or even pavers. They put the wood where I could get around it. Cleaned up nicely. This company was all around top notch. The estimate, the work supervisor setting up the date to remove a large tree stump, the 3 man crew who performed the actual work. Everything went smoothly. They call when they are supposed to and show up when supposed to and work quickly. Would definitely use them again.

It is a relief to know my irrigation will work correctly in the spring and not freeze in the winter. Also having Ryan Lawn take care of my grass has been so helpful. The older I get, the more I realize that my time with family is important so having a trustworthy company take of my lawn is a relief. BTW my yard looks great. On the night of fourth of July, in the middle of the fireworks show, I had a pipe burst in my irrigation line. I called my personal lawn guy from Ryan Lawn & Tree (Cody) and he arrived to my house within 20 minutes to fix my burst pipe in the dark. I will recommend Ryan to anyone without hesitation. They did a fine job of trimming the trees. There was a large improvement in the willow tree. Other 3 were above average.

Update: While we have enjoyed great service from this company for several years, as of spring 2021 we were very disappointed when they increased an estimate from last year 300% with really no good exclamation why. When questioned, the representative made several disparaging remarks about the previous person who we had worked with on this landscaping project. This has been a burr under my saddle for the last couple months. We continue irrigation services with Ryan’s, but even that has taken a quality dip. At this point we will not be contracting any more landscaping projects with Ryan’s. I invite Mr. Ryan to try and make this right in order to preserve the relationship. I want to support this employee owned business, but these experiences make it very challenging to do so.

Absolute raving fan of this company!! Being young ahome owners we where definitely hesitant to get on the annual fertilizer program but it has been worth every penny so far! The one down side is I’m the first person in the neighborhood to start mowing already because of how well my grass is growing!

They are flat-out excellent. First I had a thorough consultation with a professional arborist, outlining roughly what I wanted done. The same day we received an estimate with several options and price ranges, and made our selections. Within 10-14 days, in the midst of the quarantine, a crew descended on the property and in just half a day sited, planted, and mulched nine trees, removing two, and very meticulously cleaned up after themselves. Cannot recommend them highly enough.

I’ve heard great things about them as far as tree work and such. My experience with lawn care/fertilization was less than satisfactory. Everything I wanted to do, never got done. No follow up, no care. They sell you what they think you want I guess and don’t listen to your concerns or expectations. Called another company and it was half the cost for same services. Money wasn’t the issue. Service and lack of results was why I looked elsewhere.

Kevin repaired the connection to the sprinkler head by the entrance of my driveway that my nephew from NM accidentally ran over with his SUV a few weeks ago. Kevin also checked the irrigation system and found one zone was not working. He replaced the solenoid and the zone was back up and running. I am so happy that Kevin was able to fix my irrigation system.

Ryan Lawn and Tree of Springfield is great! After our initial call they sent a tech out to look over our tree concerns. Well thought out, no pressure solutions were discussed and a proposal was prepared on the spot. It was very reasonable, we agreed. Our trees were trimmed and removed the following week. Everything was professional, organized and fluent from the first phone call to the final cleanup. Doing what you say youre going to do is very important to me and they did it! We will use them again and recommend their services.

My only problem is that I tried to pay the day of the service but was told I’d get a bill but I don’t think I did. The email I got a bought about me forgetting to pay made me feel bad. Also I originally wanted an estimation for redoing my yard. I was told you would give me a call, it never happened.
