I brought in a pocket watch that has been in the family for generations but unfortunately at the time I received it it didnt work. The people that I spoke with were very kind and knowledgeable about my watch and did a complete overhaul to get it working and looking the best it has been in a long time. They even took the time to talk with me about pocket watch etiquette and showed me everything I needed to know to keep it running smoothly. They also guarantee their work for 1 year.

Brought a piece of jewelry in to be sized. Was told 7-10 days. 3 weeks is what it ended up taking, which was a little disappointing. However after finally receiving the ring it did not disappoint at all, they did a beautiful job and the price was very reasonable. I would have def given a 5 star review if only the amount of time was more accurately quoted. I would recommend, and I would go back because the quality was worth the wait, however if I were to return Id be hesitant to believe any quoted time frame.

This is the first time I have ever given a review. The jeweler, Tom Cardano, made my wedding ring into a beautiful heart pendant that I wanted made for my granddaughter for her graduation and going into the Coast Guard soon. He was very easy to talk to, made the pendant earlier than was anticipated since he knew my granddaughter was leaving for the service soon and made the pendant with the inside engravings in a perfect position to be read. A true treasure for her and we all are very grateful for his talent. Thanks

There are two in-house watchmakers, also there is a Seiko section, a Rolex and high-end watch section, a antique pocket watch section, and a micro brand section for watches. There is also and assortment of wedding jewelry, rings, necklaces, and pendants. Andy is knowledgeable at what he does And I feel very comfortable with the service that I receive. Walked in to try and get a new band on my Citizens Watch, the associate was talking with a customer and said she would get to me after her, cool no problem. Went to sit while I waited, another elderly woman came in and the associate helped her right away. I said ok then, I understand and dont mind this older lady going first. But then a man and his son come in and she goes to service them and take their watches for repair. I sat there in disbelief. Maybe because I wasnt a WASPy type customer they didnt think I needed anything.Zeroooooooo

Awesome, family owned and run jewelry store. I went in to get an engagement ring for my now Fiancee. Andy and the team really took the time to walk me through the Diamond buying process and within a short couple weeks found me the perfect one. Not being a diamond expert myself, Andy really made me feel comfortable and protected through the whole process while taking the time to explain all inside secrets to finding the right stone. What impressed me the most was how I had an idea of what i wanted and only few photos from google of similar items and the ring I received in the end was perfect, every detail I was looking for he took into account. Along with his expertise he really does his best to maximize what you get within your budget. I couldnt recommend them enough!

Finding a good jeweler is as hard as finding a good mechanic but Smith & Son makes it easy to trust who you are going to. They reset some Yogo Sapphire earrings for me in 14kt gold after the sterling silver settings they came with started irritating my ears. The new settings are absolutely stunning, same design as the original but better, and they honored my request to extend the posts. They are so comfortable now. It was a fair price to have them redone and the quality of the backs they gave me is amazing. They’ve also changed watch batteries for me, fixed a broken bracelet for me and reset prongs on stones and the prices are extremely reasonable. I can’t speak highly enough of this jeweler and the staff is all phenomenal. They are really a standout jeweler, they are always busy when I go in and you can see why. Prices on jewelry they sell also seems very reasonable and the quality and selection is stunning.

Went in to get a new band for my watch. Phenomenal service from the Jeweler and Front Desk Associate. My watch looks a lot better than it did when I walked in as well. They provided top-tier service and I only spent $40. Will be visiting again.

My husband took me there to buy a necklace for my mom that passed away got great service and people were helpful. I bought a $300 locket that i found out was not really gold. Now they are avoiding giving me my money back. I will never be going back and will NEVER recommend them to anyone

Been there numerous times and the guidance and time spent helping choose an engagement ring and bringing in different stones to look at was unparalleled. Diamonds for life trade up program has already come in very handy for occasions where I wanted to bump up the carats of my wifes diamond earrings so great only having to pay the difference to the next size up rather than the whole amount each and every time. Lets face it once you go with a bigger earring will they ever put the smaller ones back on? At that point why do you need multiple sets. The Smith family has been great to us and well find ourselves going back all the time!!

I had put off going to Smith and Sons since its a 45 minute drive. But I had 3 watches now that I needed them to look at, so I made the trip. One my jeweler said a new battery was not helping. My watch had died. The second, a battery helped, but the second hand was hitting something. The third is a year old and needed a battery, but my jeweler did not have a square press, just a round one, and using it might break the crystal. Upshot? All 3 watches are working. Paid $15 for 3 new batteries. They are a great team down there. I will make the trip in the future as they have the magic touch and I do not trust my local jeweler anymore!
