Pretty trash company, pun definitely intended. We missed our payment by one day and then paid it and they still took our can away because it’s their “policy” we called them and asked for a can back and they still haven’t brought one after a full work week. They are very unprofessional and hard to get ahold of and when you do get ahold of them they don’t take care of your needs. I would highly suggest looking into other companies for your trash services. Unless you want to waste money on a terrible company. If I could give them zero stars I would.Edit: We missed the payment by one day and then paid in full the next and it was trash day. You still took our “cart” even though we paid in full. And then we contacted one of your associates today and you put a note that we owe $20 more even though we had already paid our amount. Your company is a scam. Maybe you should consider not replying back to every review because it makes you look terribly unprofessional. I dare you to post the bad reviews along with all the good ones you post on the website. Bet you won’t do it.

Suspended trash service without notice, owner nick is vindictive! He called us back when we had a issue with a echeck. Said there would be a 25 extra charge on next months bill. Then suspended trash service after I get off phone with him. 3 weeks go by with no trash service even thou I paid up til I be of augest. Bad company they will cut you off for 25 dollars and are mean about it . That’s fine I will pay someone else to take my trash and that will actually recycle ♻️

But not returning a phone call to explain is absolutely unprofessional. 2 weeks of missed pick up is excessive, especially when I called you the very first missed day and never heard back and had to keep calling until I got a human on the phone.They didn’t pick up last week, so I called and left a message and never heard back. They didn’t pick up again this week, so I called again and was told that they can’t pick up yard waste (the ex emptied the bed of his truck before he took it and threw sticks in there). While I feel like this is a reasonable reason, if I had received a call back the first time I could have taken care of it then. Now I have to wait another week, meanwhile I have trash piling up. Extremely frustrating.

I’ve been using Queen City Disposal for weekly pickup service over the past 2 years. I initially chose the company based on their low rates, but I’ve stayed with them because of their dedication to quality services. I’ve recently rented several large dumpsters from Queen City due to a major house remodel as well. They have always been extremely prompt, well exceeding my expectations on scheduling drop offs and pickups. It’s always easy to get in touch with them and simple to start services. They offer a convenient autopay option as well. And the staff is always friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for regular pickup services or in need of a large dumpster rental.

The service is wonderful but the beautiful lady who took my payment today was amazing! Rarely do you find someone, that within a few minutes, you can tell how kind they are. In giving her my payment, she was kind, sweet and thoughtful. I would continue our services with them just because of her. To the lady I spoke with, Thank you for being a sweet light in dark times!

Queen City Disposal has the best rates I’m aware of in the area for general trash service. I’ve used them for years and my rates have stayed constant and pick up is always done on the day I expect it. Great service and great value.

The woman I spoke with when I set up my service was very nice and professional. I havent had reason to speak with them since. I pay my bill online and they pick up my trash every week on time. No complaints!

We have been using this service for about 1 1/2years. They have always been on time, taken everything we put out, and been really good at customer service. Their rates are normal, billing every 3 months. Keep up the great service.

I appreciated the ease of communication when setting up service and when needing to speak with customer service. Pickup for weekly trash is always on time. I would recommend them after using other trash services that were difficult to contact.

I use Queen City for my household trash service. I have been a customer for two years and unlike other companies they have not raised my rates once. Got Got a bill for $14 called them to let them know I was going to be paying it on Friday Wednesday they came and took my trashcan and then when I called to get it reinstated all the sudden they tell me I owe them $174 somehow I’m thinking they’re not getting paid they said oh I’m sorry whoever set this up and put it in the computer incorrectly and you haven’t been billed properly but for you to get your trashcan back you have to come up with $174 I think I’m gonna pay the bill that I have for $14 and then say goodbye

Its the cheapest service Ive found in Springfield and the transactions are so easy peasy..you can pay online or over the phone. My bill is for every 3 mos. So its a really great deal.

We still do use this trash service. The girls are so nice that work in the office that answer the phone. We were out of town for the weekend and didnt get are trash taken out the night before the driver had already been by before we got it out by the street Monday. So we called the office to see if he could come back around to get it and he was real nice and came back to get it. I recommend this trash service.

DO NOT USE THIS TRASH SERVICE!!! We were customers for 5 years. The service was fine until we decided to move. We called two weeks before our move in date to have a new canister at our new address and keep the old one at our old house until the end of July. Upon our moving day, no canister at our new address. Being the weekend, we had to wait until Monday to call. Called Monday, was told it would be here by the end of the day, it wasn’t. Called Tuesday morning to cancel service, by the evening, there was a canister. Called and spoke with the male owner, he was very rude and short. He wasn’t interested in hearing why we were canceling and said it didn’t matter since we already canceled. Wednesday morning they came and got the canister but dumped all the trash that was in it in our yard. Upon calling one last time, we were told we would not receive a refund for our remaining months of service. We are paid through September but terminated service at the end of July. Apparently their website says no refund, which we never looked at their website when choosing service. Not very professional in the way they handled this situation!Update: We requested to have the cart delivered on a Friday, the cart was not delivered until Tuesday, NOT late Monday! And they DID dump the trash that was in it in the yard! My wife was NOT rude to the ladies! Your response and lies makes me very glad we dropped you.

They have never skipped my house, unlike my previous waste disposal company. I also appreciate the drivers. I dont see them often but when I do they always wave and smile. They are also nice about helping if you have a bag or item that doesnt fit in the bin.

I am new with them but my first impressions mean a lot, my wife and I have used their residential and roll-off dumpster services and it was as smooth and pleasant as could be. The person I talked to on the phone was so nice and helpful and it was great to feel like there’s a real local person I can call unlike the big service in town which has their calls answered by a call center. Also the price was better than the other service I was looking at. I’ll update if I have any issues with service but so far I’m impressed.Edit #1, one month later: all has gone well until today, when I discovered our trash was not picked up yesterday, our normal day (the bin was put out two nights early). The recycling was picked up. I tried calling to see what was up and got a message that said “This phone line is temporarily unavailable.” This does not bode well....will update when I have more info! This last week I got into a small argument with one of your employees Heather Pool. She broughtOne of your trucks to my home for a personal visit. She has since attacked us, texting us 30 different times from 12+ different numbers. Calling myself, my child and my mom names. We asked her to leave us alone multiple times, and blocked her. So she messaged us through a third party friend on Facebook! We have so many screenshots I could make a harassment file. To think your employe knows where we live because she came to our home on the job nun the less! We are so sad such a wonderful company is employing such horrible employees who can continue to keep their jobs after pulling stunts like this lady did.And no. They were not neglected, nor were they abused. She specifically told me that she’d be the one responding on here so. Lol

Made an honest mistake by entering bank account incorrectly by 1 digit and they assessed a fee almost equal to an entire months service. I tried calling the day I realized the error and the phone was busy the entire day. I understand the fee if the payment was returned insufficient funds, but the very last digit was entered incorrectly and I admitted this as my error. Nick told me just to skip paying the bill and theyll just pick up the cart. No call to ask about the issue, no offer of courtesy waiving of fee, theyd rather just skip being paid all together instead of eating the fee as a courtesy. Tried to blame the fee on their computer software that they have to use and rambled about all the monthly fees they have to pay. Doesnt seem as though theyd like to keep long term customers or provide a decent or caring service to the community. Truly disappointing.

We switched to Queen City for our trash removal & have been very pleased with their service! Our former trash removal service was very poor & we did not want to use the out of town service since they have been buying out local trash companies.

Youll be getting a call from me today so i know my last day of service so you can get your cans. I paid 3 months advance and not only do you guys now leave my cans in the street you dont bother grabbing the bags YOU knock out! Not to mention the first time I set up my services yall doible charged me. Im over it and I know there are way more reliable companies out there who wont leave garbage all over when they pick up the garbage!

The owner knew my address and said they serviced in my area. Then proceeded to take 3 months fees up front. I wanted a small, local company. He then called the next day and said that we really dont do much business out in your area, we will refund you credit card as soon as possible. You bet he will, or I will bother him daily! No hook, bait and switch here!

No matter what the weather, they are always reliable in picking up my trash on the scheduled day and the bin is always fully emptied.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. We wanted to use a local company for our small business. We were required to pay three months upfront (seemed standard) then after less than one month we received a bill because they didnt bill us for the partial month in which we started. Then the next month we received a due upon receipt bill for service that would not happen for 60 days. After a few months we forgot to send in a payment (sorry that we are human) and our trash was not picked up. I called and apologized and put a check in the mail as soon as we hung up. I was told it was not a problem our trash would be picked up the following week. It was not. When I called back the girls in the office told me they had no idea why our service would have been suspended they had made note of everything that had happened I was told the owner would call me, he didnt I had to call his office for two days before he decided to call me back. At which point he told me my service was suspend for nonpayment (check had been chased) and it was not his fault that I didnt pay my bills after this conversation we decided to quit our service. We told QCD at the end of the month/after our last pickup to take our dumpster. Last day of the month was on a Friday which was our pickup date. On Thursday before 730am our dumpster was gone. When I called to ask why it was taken early, I was told I would have to speak to the owner again. I had to call 5 times in two days before he decided to speak with me. I was told that I paid for 4 pickups and I got 4 pickups. It didnt matter what day of the week it was on.If an owner doesnt care at all how he treats his customers, he will be out of business soon. They are supposed to provide a service and there are MANY other businesses who will gladly take their business.

Best price in town, not great at much else. They must have an organization issue. The male owner isnt the nicest man. I was being over charged for the service because I was paying with a credit card. I was never told when I paid with a card the company would charge more to take care of the fee. I called upset and wanted to cancel at the beginning of my 3 month service. They said I had to wait the whole 3 months and they would not be issuing a refund. I told them I wanted to cancel, after calling around I found this was the cheapest service and because of their price I figured Id give them another try. I called and canceled my trash can pick up they came and picked it up Monday anyways. My service bill is due that Friday. I called and the lady said they would drop it back off I specifically asked for it to be dropped off before Friday so I wouldnt need to put my trash bags at the end of a busy street where people walk and it would make my house look trashy and possibly litter. She assured me they would drop it off asap. I called today (Friday) and had no further contact since the last call, the man picked up and said he wouldnt drop it off until he got payment for this month. Well to pay him Id like to have a trash can. Im not getting my full service and if I get charged a fee for littering Ill forward that to them. Im not changing my review until something happens to fix my issue.

Ive been with them over two and a half years didnt realize my bill was due never got an email phone call or anything in the mail saying it was due they picked up the trash can. Im a truck driver Im on the road every week would have been nice to at least get a phone call. Very unprofessional

I am tired of seeing these carts sitting by the road for a long time without getting emptied. Its an eyesore for our city. Please hire a reputable company that actually shows up to empty the carts on a regular schedule. The city should put a stop to this trash company and fine them for littering, it makes me cringe when I see someone in our neighborhood hire this company.

Very disappointed in their service. We told them we had extra bags the first week and they said that was fine just sit them out. I got home at 5:30 after work and there is still trash by our driveway, they never showed up and of course their closed now so they dont answer their phone. I would not recommend this company. Worst company I’ve personally done business with in Springfield. They sent the shut off notice 2 days before trash pickup. They failed to contact after paying bill. Had to call after realizing that my trash wasn’t picked up again just for them to say it’s because of the $8 late fee that I was never informed about. Seriously would use anyone else this place has no clue of what they are doing.

This place is horrible. They left the dumpster in the street on S. Hilton. Then he wants to blame me for my mirror being shattered when I had a car behind me and an oncoming car speeding. He proceeded in telling me I should have stopped with a car behind me. Which would have resulted in the car behind me hitting me and my 3 year old daughter. He blamed me and not his driver for leaving the dumpster 3 feet in the street on a street not really made for 2 cars. When I asked for his name he said he had to go over and over. A name was the worst question I guess but it would have been alot easier than I have to go not 6 but 7 times. I had my mom listen on the call. When I tried to call back for his name they just let it ring and let the machine get it. This is the worst man and even worse truck drivers. They are irresponsible and very rude to say the least.

Its turned into clockwork . They send me the bill , I mail em the check the same day , they pickup the trash for the next three months on Tuesday without fail . We rented a big dumpster from them and they told us they would pick it up in seven days. We asked if they could pick it up earlier they said they only do seven. Well today he took out a huge fee and said we were supposed to call him when we were done with it. WHICH THEY DID NOT TELL US. Do not do business with this company. Read the reviews and you will see that they are sketchy.

Best trash service in Springfield.

In the last two weeks my trash can has sat on the curb full more than it’s sat in my garage empty. The driver has missed it for two weeks during regular route. I have called five times trying to get this handled. No reasons given why driver keeps missing my service and no apologies. Nick called and was just as rude with no reason why trash hadn’t been picked up and then said he was canceling our service when they caused the issue. Not a company you want to deal with.

Ordered trash service last week, a bin was delivered. We set our trash bin out to the curb Sunday night. Monday trash was not picked up. My wife called, spoke with a female who advised it was likely the driver wasnt made aware we were on the route and they would return that same day to pick up trash. They did not return. Today my wife called in the morning and was again told they would be back to pick up our trash. They did not, at 4:30 PM i decided to call myself. I spoke to a man who kept me on speaker phone the entire call. Explained the situation and gave the address. He advises that the driver noted our bin was not out which is absolutely false, we put our bin out Sunday evening. My first experience with this company and they missed the first pickup, failed to deliver on two promises to come back and pick up our trash, then lied stating our bin was not out and they would not return till Monday of next week. I did not choose this company for their pricing, i literally just picked a service and signed up. Well now i know to check reviews first, will definitely be going elsewhere.

As a veteran I was hoping this guy was ok. We’ve had them for about a year, and most of the times things were ok. Last week we did have a couple of extra bags, instead of taking them, they dumped the container and put the others in the container, and left them, leaving us with less room for this week. This week they didn’t pick up at all. Just skipped us all together, when I called to see why, the owner told me the driver had put down that the trash was not out. This was a complete lie. We had a couple extra bags, due to the extra bags from the week before being left, and he just skipped us. I am about to cancel my service. I called once and the owner told me it was my fault and I should’ve had it out earlier. It was out 2 hours before the guy came by. He came at 9:51 and I took out the trash at 8:15 before taking my kid to school.Part 2, called the guy hoping things could work out. He continued telling me it was my fault, and refused to refund the money I had payed him, and said the last day of service would be the last week of May. I’d rather not use him as he continues to offer less than quality service and has horrible customer service as he and his female assistant both hung up on me.

Always pick up residential realiably

Ordered service a month ago and they said they pick up on fridays and Ive watched them pick up my neighbors on Thursday...Ive had my trash sitting out for 2 weeks now the lady says her daughter is the one picking up and she says there is no trash out! She would rather argue than try to do good business and find out what the problem is!

Be prepared to get overlooked! They only way to get them to pick up trash on time is to be mean to them. They wont respect traditional transactions like rendering a service theyve received payment for.

I am amazed by this company more and more. It took me two weeks of calling their office and finally leaving a message to receive a call back about what my account number was. I then called for over a week about them missing my trash pick up. I put my trash out in the extremely early morning or previous night. But I was to be blamed. Then I was cussed at by the person operating their phones. This man is so disrespectful he will talk over you constantly until he is heard, and when his 5 year old tantrum is finally over he just hangs up on you after saying have a good day. They told me because of how I asked them to call me back as soon as possible please that I had basically cussed them out over the phone trying to get them to answer their phone. These people have lost my business, my friends business, and my coworkers business. I will talk anyone out of ever using their service again. Which is something he was so apt to point out. Over 8000 people in a 160000 town use their services but hes big game. These people need to be out of business and they will surely get there soon enough. The only reason I chose this company is because its veteran owned. Whoever the veteran is i thank you for your service but your personnel are lackluster.

Just set up trash with Queen City and have called 4 times at different times today to tray and speak with someone and there has been no answer at all. I really wish I had read reviews before starting services with this company. I do not see this being a company I wish to work with for long, will be cancelling as soon as possible.
