You get a 4 star cause I dont remember what me an my friend went in the store for. Id never been in there. The employees were so nice an FRIENDLY. I just let my friend get whatever he was needing an looked around the place. They had the most beautiful Front Doors Ive seen in a while. They were also displayed very well so you could actually open an close them. It was fun for me. Another great Building supplier that treats customers like theyre your neighbor. I will go back to this store.

Strait lumber that seems to be of good quality. Builder stuff here so no fancy woods but if you got a project, they have the materials. Excellent service from the people up front and in the yard.

I called to inquire about purchasing siding in a set size.Melissa told me their supplier had in stock..should be a few days.. And would call back to confirm that day. ..she did not. I called to order from another salesman and was told Melissa would order next days and should be in in a day or two.I asked Melissa for a delivery as well and to call me after ordering to le me know delivery date as I had someone scheduled to put up as well as a decking crew to follow siding install.She never called once over the 6 days it took to deliver..even though I would call each day..I wake up today to delivery truck and i was never called about that. Lucky I was here...I guess they think I have waited here 24x7 for 6 days.Stuff happens.I get it...people who are hired to communicate with customers do this....critical business thinking 101..Not Lees or Melissa.How hard is it to call me Monday and say your order will be here Tuesday am ?Total customer service fail.!!Please reassign Melissa as she could mot have done a worse job at doing her job for a customer...Lazy !!!!

I recently had some remodeling done at my home and used Lees Building Center for the majority of the building supplies and was very pleased with there service and experience. I would highly recommended these folks for your building supply needs

Very helpful staff and when Lees did not have the specialized item I was looking for they quickly located a business that could fulfill my needs. Also, as a first time customer recently very surprised and impressed at the amount of products they carry: especially the Milwaukee brand products, items I had not seen at other major retailors.

Their always nice and a very personal atmosphere,they know you by name.

Ive been dealing with these guys for years. They are very knowledgeable and very easy to deal with. It doesnt take them long to get to know you on a first name basis. If there is something unusual that you need when it comes to outdated lumber (trim,old siding,ect.) Most of the time they know what you need and will do their best to aquire it. They are a full service lumber company.

As a delivery driver. I never have problems here. Sometimes they are busy ,but always in my experience they hustle and get em in and get em out

It’s such a joy to walk into a home town store and be greeted and have someone happy to help! I needed lumber cut to specific lengths. Even brought in a few pieces and they remeasured and cut to size! Thank you for helping with my project!

At first I was please with Lees Building Center. I just moved to Springfield, TN and I try to support the local city stores. However after buying and renting several items from them things turned sour over one employee. I had purchased several pieces of lumber material setting up and completing a 12 x 24 shed with great service working with the regular front desk employee over several visits. I had inquired about some R11 insulation from the buyer for Lees and she had stated they were trying to move it so I could get a deal if I bought some. I had made my purchase for the day and wasnt ready for the insulation. I had been given a business card with the regular price and discounted price. When I returned the regular front desk person was not on duty but the buyer was at her desk. I told another counter person what I was wanting and gave him the card explaining the discounted price. The buyer brought the insulation to the counter. I paid for it and loaded it. I glanced down at the receipt and they had charged me the full price. I went back in and questioned why I didnt get the discounted price. The counter person became very belligerent stating he did not know which price to use since there were 2 numbers. I ask him to honor the discounted the price. He walked out from behind the counter very angry and stated let the buyer fix the problem. During the process he kept badgering me at which point I told the buyer to cancel the buy and unload my vehicle. The counter person came out to my vehicle while I unloaded the insulation. Another employee came out and had to stand between us to keep the situation becoming a physical confrontational. Needless to say I will never go back to Lees Building Center. This person should have been fired on the spot but it seems the other employees condoned his actions. Buy doing so it must be Lees policy to allow employees to badger employees instead to CUSTOMER service.

Good prices exceptional service

Needed some materials for some wood to box around old porch posts. Lees had a far superior quality (not a board was bowed or warped) and a lot more sizes of trim and finished lumber than lowes. My contractor called lowes and prices were 60$ more at Lowes (300 vs 360$). Lesson learned. Shop local!
