Updated review: Switched review from 4 to 5 stars. Had issues with a newly installed sump pump that kept failing. DGM came back out and fixed the issue by replacing faulty pump and installing a second pump to help eliminate water in the crawlspace. They did a wonderful job and will come out again later to verify crawlspace is staying dry. No more standing water and what water gets underneath the house so far is getting pumped out. James (the owner) is more than fair and will do what is needed to ensure the customer is happy with the work performed.Older review: Had mold remediation performed on my home crawl space in Strafford last May. DGM sent out a full crew who crawled around under my house leveling out the mud and laying rock and thoroughly scrubbing the floor joists that had mold. They did a beautiful job although I’ve a couple of issues since then of water still not pumping out. They came back out and replaced the drain line upgrading it to pvc and replacing the sump pump. Next, the pump they installed failed resulting in lots of standing water. They came back out today and pumped out the water again repairing the faulty check valve on the pump. Spoke with Derrick who will make sure to come back out again to check up. Although I’ve had some frustrating issues resulting in continued standing water that hopefully does not result in more mold ($6k in work done), DGM has been diligent in at least trying to fix the problem and they are very nice people. 4 stars for the beautiful and thorough job that was initially done. Their initial assessment of what they recommend having done was also very detailed and helpful. Even with the other issues I’ve had since then, I think I would still go with DGM over their competitors. You should give them a call for an evaluation of any mold remediation/encapsulation needing done.

Excellent Service! We had multiple companies evaluate our crawlspace mold situation and Dog Gone Mold came back with the most logical solution at a much better price. Great customer service on top of the service itself. We had crawlspace humidity ranging from 70% to 90% before Dog Gone Mold. They treated the mold and added a vapor barrier and now our highest humidity level has been around 67% after a heavy rain. We still have some landscaping/drainage issues that we are working on resolving, but Dog Gone Mold did a Dog Gone good job getting our main issues under control.

When we sold our home and an inspection revealed that we had mold, I was shocked and even a little dubious that we really did have mold! Our fantastic realtor, Stacey Saladin (thats for another review), suggested we have a professional come and evaluate the extent of mold. Ryan Duffy, with Dog Gone Mold, came out to evaluate our home. Upon meeting Ryan he was professional, punctual, personable, thorough and respectful. Communication was stellar and so appreciated! Ryan was able to clearly show me exactly where the mold was. We accepted his suggestions and agreed to his guys coming out to clean the area in our basement that contained mold. Ryan came with the men the morning the work began. The men were so thorough and worked very hard! After the cleaning, the area smelled so clean and fresh. In addition they cleaned our duct work throughout our home and scrubbed air vents. And finally they used a sort of bomb for any remaining residue of mold. After the work, Ryan came to inspect the work to certify that the mold was gone.And, Allen, who works in the office, was great in scheduling, taking payment and answering questions.My husband had some concerns regarding the extent of the work and billing. Ryan was completely focused in doing whatever necessary to be sure that we were taken care of and pleased. He really went the extra mile. Really quite unbelievable!If we ever need this kind of work done again, we would absolutely use Dog Gone Mold.
