I got my new homeowners policy in May and by September we were putting it to the test as we evacuated from the Holiday Farm Fire. My agent contacted me 1 day after we evacuated to help get us stated with our claim. We werent even sure if we had damage at that point but his quick thinking got us in the adjusters queue. By the end of that day , Allstate wired $2,500.00 into our account as an evacuation benefit for food and housing, which we didnt even know we had. We did end up with ash in our house and they were very fair with our claim. I would highly recommend Allstate to anyone who needs protection for their home.

This insurance company has been extremely fair and very straight forward with my family and I. They are very personable and have a great sense of humor. I have never had a problem with them returning calls promptly and being able to answer any questions i have had. I would highly recommend them to anyone. Five stars all the way. I’m very upset with this agent and his staff. I needed to change my payment dates to the end of the month. So i called and asked to change them. The lady who answered and was working with me said that would be no problem and wouldn’t affect my policy’s. She told me it wouldn’t be in affect for 30 days so I’d have to pay this month on the original date but then I’d be good to go. So thinking this was all settled, I paid on the original date and went about my day. The next day, I get an email saying my bill is ready to look at, I check the Allstate app and now I have another bill to pay at the end of the month!? I call them and Bill treats me like a child, saying “Before you were paying for the previous month, now you’re paying for the present month. That’s the way it works, kiddo.” That’s so unprofessional! Now I have to pay 2 bills this month which wasn’t explained to me before when I wanted to change the date. If I had known this previously, I wouldn’t have changed the date!!!!

We had a great experience, and a nice surprise when we added our 16 year old daughter, and her new VW to our policy. We dealt with Kassey, here at Always Ins. Agency & Bill Cavinee Insurance. Kassey was able to bundle our Home and Auto insurance (which we had separately through Farmers and Progressive). We are now paying aprox ten dollars more a year, after adding full coverage for the VW and our 16 year old daughter to our policy. Woot!
