A great place to live as an MSU student! Clean, safe, close to campus and I love having access to all 4 building’s amenities such as the pool, gym and game room. The management and maintenance teams are extremely friendly and responsive to inquiries. Dahlia in the office was so friendly and a huge help in getting me settled in.

I moved in not too long ago and have loved loving here. Everyone is so nice and helpful!

Been here for a couple of months so far. There was some miscommunication when trying to move in with the office. Some areas around the building are a bit unpleasant, like the Sterlings parking lot entry, smells musty and moldy. And parking is rather scarce, so you might have to park at a lot that is 5-10 minute walking distance away.The staff are very easy to talk to, as stated before had some miscommunications about move in dates and other issues.Good location, discounts at local stores, my unit has had no extreme issues.

Just moved to Springfield into one of these apartments and it’s been a really well experience so far. The apartment was clean when I moved in and the people around are goof people as well.

My son is an MSU student searching the area for off campus housing. He has been researching for a couple months for the 2021 school year. From his tour of the property to the numerous phone calls he’s made to the office, he has been greeted by a helpful and accommodating staff. As a parent calling for details, each time I’ve called I have talked to a different staff member and each of them has been to extremely helpful and polite. It has been a pleasure to work with them and my son has signed a lease!

I like living here quite a lot! I signed my lease during the early part of the covid pandemic, and they made it very easy to tour remotely and sign documents electronically. I love my unit, and gladly signed up for another year! I’ve been burned by landlords before, but I’ve been very pleasantly surprised here! I was promised early move in, and they followed through with it (unlike other places I’ve lived). I highly recommend

I love living at Park East. It’s conveniently located close to campus and in the heart of downtown. The living spaces are modern, affordable, and comes with many amenities. If your a student in college this is a great place to live.

Ive been living here since May. Its a great place to live for college students - super close to everything downtown. You can basically walk everywhere. The bearline is also right across the street so you dont even have to walk to campus. Highly recommend living here.

First time living here and it has been great! Maintenance is quick and does the job well, everything is clean. The staff keeps tenants happy, informed, and fully appreciated.

I moved in mid May of 2020 and I absolutely love living here! They have plenty of amenities and bonuses when living at their 4 locations which helps make it worth they stay. Perfect location for college students who plan to go out frequently as well!

The apartments are so beautiful and in such a convenient location. I literally walk everyday downtown and its really nice not having to drive and find parking. The Park Central Market is very convenient being next door and my roommate and I treat it like a bodega. Although there were lots of maintence issues when I moved in, maintence was really quick to respond and efficient.

I’ve been happily living at Park East since January of 2018 and if that doesn’t say enough, then here are some other reasons! The downtown location is perfect and convenient when needing to get around along with it being so close to all of the neighboring colleges (MSU, OTC and Drury), the rooms at all Park East properties are updated/modern and very well kept and when it comes to the office staff, they’re always friendly and engaging along with the maintenance staff who are always quick to respond and even quicker to take care of any and all maintenance needs (Ask for Jimmy, such an awesome guy). I have enjoyed everything Park East has to offer and plan on living here for many more years to come! I would highly recommend Park East to many friends and family!

Park East (Cresco) is my first apartment and I’m extremely pleased. Super nice building and the studio apartment is actually bigger than expected. Maintenance is super helpful as well!

The staff is soooo helpful and friendly. Perfect location being in the center of Downtown. Super affordable as well and perfect for students.

Dont fall for the free rent trap. The free rent is real, but if you dont catch all the fine print you could end up paying a lotttt more than you expect! And if you try to back out they will use their fine print to get money from you. Sometimes fine print is there to protect a business sometimes its there to take advantage of the customer. In this situation it feels a lot more like the apartments are have figured out a loophole to lock people in and get money.

Park East are located in downtown Springy. They allow your furry babies to live with you too and have been nothing short of incredible. Thrown a wrench in their peak season (i.e. Covid) they’re still thriving and making all of us who live here feel welcome!

I really enjoy living at sky 11! I’m so thankful to be here instead of on campus, and the Park East crew really do care about their residents.

Staff is wonderful & very helpful! Have lived at Sky 11 and Cresco both. I loved living at Sky 11 very well-kept and quiet. Cresco has been an ok experience, not ideal for people who arent pet people like myself.

Each of the properties at Park East has their own unique vibe, so youre bound to find one that vibes well with your lifestyle. I really like the ample parking (which is hard to find downtown!!) and the security (all buildings require a fob to get in). Park East is truly amazing.

The staff at Park East are so friendly. They host lots of resident events (FREE FOOD!) and they are always willing to help. They are also doing lots of upgrades to the property, which is AWESOME!!

Im a resident of Park East at Cresco Apartments. They caused me a huge headache. I have 2 parking passes that they charged me for every month and as a reward they towed my car to an expensive tow truck company outside of town and made me go out to pick up the car in the middle of the night far outside of town and cost me a lot of money to get it back. There staff also got my scooter all dirty from powerwashing the dirty sidewalks. They blew that same dirty water under my door. When I called the office to tell them what happen they said they couldnt help me. I dont recommend making this your next place to live.

Love the location. Perfect for if you wanna explore restaurants and shops downtown, especially with discounts provided by Park East. Friendly residents and GREAT staff and maintenance. Very accommodating and understanding. You can tell they love their job and their residents. Good sized rooms and a GORGEOUS view from the higher up apartments. Study locations in each apartment complex which is cool. 10/10.

Would recommend to any student in the area, close to downtown life and schools, plenty of restaurants, cafes, night life, and entertainment all within walking distance. Staff was super helpful to me during the signing process.

I love living here I currently live in the U and my apartment is nothing but amazing and I love the management staff they are the best part of living at the U. The manager has been nothing but helpful to me and I wouldn’t live anywhere else. I feel if I was having any problem it would be fixed immediately. As soon as I put in a work order it is fix within two days, the maintenance staff does an amazing job!!

There are definitely pros and cons to living at Park East. Pros are location, location, location. Close to campus and great for people who like to go out downtown. Despite being downtown, I mostly feel very safe and appreciate how the apartments are only accessible to those who live there. Cons are parking and the price. There are very few spots outside the apartment and you will mostly be walking from the parking garage. It is pricey to live here and they keep raising the price. Overall, Im pleased with my time here, but also wont be sad to leave.

Park East is easily the best location as far as apartments go in Springfield. Walk home from restaurants/bars and close to campus. Doesn’t get better than that.

If youre looking to live downtown, this is the place to be! Location is unbeatable, and with onsite parking you dont have to ever worry about finding a parking spot! Theres so many great ameneties such as a gym, printing, multiple study areas and even a market right next to Sky 11 (and speaking of Sky, the views are INCREDIBLE). The new management is so nice and friendly, and they are doing lots of resident events (they just did pizza and wings!!) Park East is a fantastic place to be!

Park East is a great apartment building especially for the college student who is tired of the dorm life. Everyone is super nice here plus theirs an amazing heated pool, surround sound system and fire pit for when you and your friends want to hangout! I love living here!

I really enjoy living at park east, I currently live at The U in a 3 bedroom with 2 of my friends. I love having my own bathroom and being downtown. It’s close to campus, and I love the rewards that come with living here!

I love living here at Park East. I have made the best friends of my life here and my little pup loves all the places he can venture to! The Sterling building is the best building hands down. The sterling has a chill atmosphere and can’t forget about the STOOP CREW.😋

Really disappointed in this place. I love the location and that its pet friendly, but safety is a HUGE issue. My cousin and my fiances cars both were broken into in a years time frame, and there are no security cameras in the area to help with this issue. They are willing to charge rent out the @#$ but wont help their residents with some security cameras.

Park East is a wonderful place to live with such a great location! They are so welcoming every time I go into the office! They also have great aminities and put on awesome events. Waffle Wednesday is my favorite!!

I have lived at The U for almost a year now. We had some issues with the elevator being out of service but, Park East was on top of getting it fixed. I love the dog friendly atmosphere, my little pup loves all her new friends!!

I’ve had problems even months after moving out if I could give 0 stars I would. I lived in Cresco. I had mold grow on my clothes/shoes, homeless people dig threw a dumpster that was put next to our internee gate, had homeless people bathe in the sky 11 pool that I had access to, had my move in unit wrong, moved into a nasty apartment, maintenance didn’t fix my washer for TWO months, and the trash service people quit frequently so trash would sit outside the door in the hallway way too long so it would smell awful and animals would get into it.

DONT LEASE WITH PARK EAST! Worst management out of all the Springfield apartments. Also, they have the worst rules. You cant even have a guest or relative over for more than 3 days in a month! Dont even worry about living with a pet cause you have to pay out the butt just for it to live with you. If you want an affordable place to live, this is not the place.

Dont Lease at Park East If:1. You dont want to lease under the sketchiest management in town2. You dont want to break the bank paying for your rent3. You expect your utilities to be included like they say4. You want good security (Love our security guard but not always on duty)5. You like a quiet living environment (Constantly loud neighbors that party until the sun comes up, LITERALLY, have been doing this for months and have yet to have been quieted by Park East. Even after the security guard has been called multiple times.)6. Youre not buddy-buddy with someone who works in the office. (Park East loves to make special exceptions for those who have an inside connection.)7. You love animals (Park East responded that they make exceptions for people that can not afford the $500 non refundable, yes nonrefundable, pet deposit. Yet, when signing my lease, I expressed that I could not afford the pet deposit and nothing was said about helping me finance the cost or to assist me in any way like they responded to another review.)8. You like having your friends spend the night (You can only have a guest spend the night 3 days a month. If you want someone to stay longer, you have to pay an additional $200 a month. Worse than your dorm rooms policy right?)9. You are an adult (If you get mad at Park East about any of these outrageous policies and complain to them in the office, theyll call your parents to tell on you)10. You expect maintenance to be done on your unit (Not only has maintenence ever come back to my unit from the first day I moved in to fix my light and other issues, they frequently lie about performing maintenance on your unit.)11. You want nice management (Management always treats me like I am annoying them and I avoid them at all costs, dealing with residents is your job. The only nice employees are Jason and Eden.)P.S. @ Park East: Dont bother replying to this review, youve said enough to the others.

Elevator breaks down all the time. WiFi out for days sometimes. Always smells. New management doesn’t care. Threw away my stuff after I forgot it when I moved out because it “was under $50”. Not a great experience.

Its honestly really disappointing because I lived with park east last year and I loved it but a new management team took over this year and it has been absolutely horrible. The office is incredibly rude because when you go in there to talk to them they make you feel like an inconvenience and not welcomed at all. The manager, Tamara , has yelled at a couple of my friends via phone. They never get back to you even though they say they will. Barely any of the windows in my unit actually shut so we have to stick plastic sacks in them to keep the cold air from coming in. Its just ridiculous. I do not recommend living here.

The old managment was awesome. However, since the new management has started it has gone down hill majorly. All they care about is partying. No joke. If you go into the office to ask a question they are always rude and never give you a straight answer. You can tell their focus is on having the coolest college pad. The owner of the building made a big mistake by chaning managment. If you wanna live here, go ahead and look for somewhere else downtown. The staff says the care but they really dont.

This place is the college version of the Belagio. The office staff is amazing and commit to giving the tenants better service than a f***ing Chic Fil A worker. Each apartment is spacious and smells of rich mahogany, making you feel right at home. It’s also downtown so you can walk to and from Finnegans, vintage, Pbar and Dublin’s anytime you want.

Very nice looking place. Location is good for college students going to either MSU, OTC, or drury. Its like a five minute drive to any one of them. Staff is helpful. Many of them live here too. The maintenance staff is really nice too and they know what they are doing. You do have to call the leasing office if you want the maintenance done that day. To lease with this company you pay a deposit and first months rent. I moved in when there was a special going on so I had gotten two months free but I still needed to pay the deposit and first months rent before I could move in. I was charged an additional fee to change rooms after the summer because when I moved in originally it was a temporary room until the previous tenants moved out of the apartment I signed my lease under. They do have a system called Simple Bills where you are allotted x amount in water and electricity and pay the overage. It normally isnt any more than $10 a month. Granite countertops, stainless appliances, washer and dryer in the unit. The shower temperature gets hot enough to produce steam.During the summer 10p.m. to 2 or 3 a.m. gets a little louder because of the bars and clubs. This is a good place if you like to go out to party and drink. During the school year Thursday, occasionally Friday and Saturday nights can get a little loud during the same times. Since youre right next to the Gilloz you do occassionally get the crowd of any concerts and those can get pretty loud. Occassionally you have downtown festivals that happen and get loud. If you work nights and sleep during the day it isnt too bad of a place to live. If you work early mornings and go to bed early, ask for a unit on the back half of the building.Lastly, there are a few flaws in the construction of the building. The lower trim sits a little too high off the floor, if something gets stuck behind a draw in the kitchen it can be tricky to get out because taking the draws out are impossible without the proper tools. The inside doors are about an inch off the floor. The main door is heavy and sturdy and requires a code to open so that is a plus. There are some flaws to the walls and the floor is uneven in many places. But this is just being picky.Oh! And this leasing company DOES NOT have an option to break your lease. If you do want to break your lease you have to peraonally find someone who can finish your lease. If you move out to a different place during your lease you are still expected to pay rent unless you find another to finish out your lease. I do believe that this is one of the few leasing companies that does not have a breaking your lease clause or option.

Our apartments at the U are really big and open and have an awesome view! The staff is friendly and the maintenance fixes things pretty fast.

Probably the worst managed real estate company in springfield. Over-priced units, terrible security, and they refuse to take action when neighbors are blasting music at 5am. Additionally, they show favoritism towards the tenants/employees they prefer. We had to give up our dog over 40lbs, but an employee of Park East who lives in our building owns a massive dog. Dont lease with Park East unless you want to be severely disappointed. I would never suggest to anyone.

Best part about Park East is probably the location. But tons of other perks too!!!
