I had a tankless water heater that last winter had burst a copper line. I met a tech to potentially repair it, but the line turned out to be soldered to an aluminum heat exchanger. The tech would not be able to make the repair without damaging the heat exchanger. Instead, he told me to go to an auto parts store and buy some marine-grade high-heat epoxy. He walked me through all the preparation steps for the epoxy to get a proper grip. And, he didnt charge me anything! Even after driving all the way across town to meet me. I followed his instructions and my water heater is back in business. Thank you, A&D!

Dan and his team installed 4 central AC and Heat units and replumbed the entire building. He also added washer and dryer hookups in each unit. They did a wonderful job sizing the units and I am very impressed with the quality of their work both with regards to plumbing and AC/Heating.Dan was very reliable and communicated often about their progress – this was a huge job. During the winter months of the project, we even had a pipe freeze. However, he used PEX so everything worked as expected when the temperature thawed – and without any damage to the piping and other structures.

You couldnt find a better plumber 🪠 if you tried. Amber was so nice to talk to when setting up our appointment and was able to schedule us really quickly. Jen showed up and immediately got started restoring service to our home. She was very comfortable explaining what was wrong and what was done by her to correct it. We are keeping A&Ds number in our contacts from now on. Thank you so much for your excellent service!

A& D is affordable, reliable and honest. They are the only heating & air & plumbing company I will use. Period. End of story!

What a blessing A & D Mechanical was to my wife and I when our AC went completely out! For nearly 2 weeks we found ourselves waiting on our home warranty company to come up with the equipment that was needed. During that entire time, A & D Mechanical made available to us two portable units to help us get by with outside temps of 95 and inside the house temps of 87. We couldnt have made it without their help and concern. When the AC equipment arrived at the supplier, A & D immediately picked it up and came to the house and began installation. In just a few hours we were fully operational again. During the time our AC was down, we received numerous texts and phone calls from our service technician, Dan Clubb (what a great guy) and even a phone call from Mary, the owner of A & D Mechanical. A & D Mechanical is not just in the heat/air business - THEY ARE IN THE PEOPLE BUSINESS! Without hesitation, I recommend them to you know that you will NOT be disappointed!

We have referred several customers to A&D and they were taken care faster than the customer even thought and with great care. If you truly want to work with a company that cares about you as the customer give them a call and they will take care of you! They even offer a plan to come out and check your system each year!

Dan came out as soon as he could, a couple hours before his projected ETA! He was quick, explained my issue in terns I could understand, and showed me how to prevent any similar future issues! If any other problems arise, Im DEFINITELY calling A&D Mechanical!

Do not use this company. We were disappointed to find out we have been ripped off. We had a sump pump installed, it was consistantly running, we asked them to come look at it and they wanted to bill us for it. It went out and they would not honor the warranty. We had a different company come out, they replaced the pump with a better one. The company showed us the old one and it was a cheap plastic pump but we were billed for a more expensive pump. We trusted this group only to be taken advantage of and they do not honor their work. Be advised to stay away.

This company is a good honest company and will do everything they can to make a customer happy. Ive been very grateful for them in helping me with my AC needs. If I have a problem they are here within the hour most of the time a half hour. Thanks Guys your the best!

I own a cleaning business and when I was in my customers home I noticed water running from their coil under their furnace. She asked me if I knew how to fix it, she is a missionary from South America and was only here for a brief time to get her house ready to rent. Thats not what I do so I gave her A & D Mechanics number and they should up really fast. They had her problem fixed and she was so grateful, it looked good for them and it looked good to on me, because they did an outstanding job.

After being without heat for about a week I called A&D Mechanical. Daniel diagnosed the problem quickly and gave me a very reasonable quote. He had my furnace running within the hour and worked with me on the payment. It brought me to tears. They will be my go to people for anything in the future. Its great to finally know an honest company.

This review is long over due!! They are AMAZING!! Just use them for whatever you have going on with plumbing, AC, heat, gas lines, water lines.. or possible projects or changes you may be looking at doing around the home... We have not used the appliance repair but if that comes up I know we would use them for sure based on everything else (I met Jen the repair tech for appliances and she was very good, she gave us advice on what new fridge to get!!)... here is a history of our experience:We moved into our new home the second week of January, it had snowed, I was a week from delivering our third baby, we had a three year old and a one year old.. we got to the house and there was no heat and all the sinks had burst water lines... a TERRIBLE situation AND it was also the weekend.We told them the situation and they worked it out for us no problem. They showed up three workers and two trucks. Ended up the previous owners hadnt fixed a propane leak in the supply line coming into the house. The propane line had to be replaced, the sinks all had to be fixed and toilet was clogged and bathroom faucet was broken (no this was all not found by two different inspectors) and we were out of propane because of the leak..Dan and his techs stayed until way after dark IN THE SNOW and very cold weather fixing everything, then came back the next day to checked in and went through everything in the house with us. The billing was reasonable for all they did and working at night on a weekend. They were kind and sincere and trustworthy. You can tell they cared about doing a good job and have integrity. We felt comfortable with all the techs.Since, we have had other things come up, the sump pump needed replaced. They took pictures while under our home to show us what they replaced and all the where, why and hows that that entailed. This was a small job but they knew I was curious about what they were doing and what the previous owner had done too. Again I feel this was above and beyond. The sump pump they used had really good reviews which made me feel good they used quailty product.Dan is awesome! He has experience and a clear interest in making sure every detail is well done he has always been able to give a clear timeline and cost. The techs are all great as well! And Mary in the office walked me through all the upset of our new move and gave great advice and worked out scheduling to get us taken care of during our emergency. J.J. has been great with getting scheduling for us as well on our new project were working on.Overall, great employees, great ownership, great workmanship.

After seeing a Sunday evening TV program where 6 different companies were called to come check out a single mothers AC unit they had serviced and then cut one wire and ALL 6 told this woman the repairs would cost from $800 to completely replacing her AC unit, I was leery of anybody in this business! I was very impressed with the service person sent to give my unit a check up. I was very pleased with all the checks the service person did. I knew something was not quite right with the outside unit as it seemed to me maybe the fan wasnt quite balanced. After removing the outer shell of the heat pump and checking things out and cleaning coils etc... he checked all the bolts on the fan and found several were loose which was causing the vibration. My system was given a clean bill of health and the cost of this service was very reasonable. I do recommend this company.

I knew what it should cost to do the job we needed done before we ever started getting bids...A & D was right on the money!!! We got 3 bids before we found them and the other 3 companies overbid $500-$1,000 each. We will always recommend them to anyone who needs an HONEST company to do work in their home. Thank You A&D!!

The technicians at A & D are super helpful and very efficient. I never have to wait for them to arrive because they are always on time! A and D Mechanical has serviced my furnace and air conditioner as well as many of my clients at Rhoads Real Estate. So far, it has always been an easy fix and the bill was an easy one to pay! I think it has everything to do with having them serviced by A and D Mechnical in the spring for air and fall for the furnace. When the furnace or air isnt working, you literally have to trust the repair man not to take advantage of the situation. I am confident that each and everyone I refer to A and D Mechanical will indeed be taken care of in a timely manner and in a ethical way too.

I was referred to A&D by another HVAC professional that didnt work with radiant floor heating systems, but knew that A&D did. I just moved into a home with radiant floor heating, so I didnt have anyone I could depend on to service it, and its very difficult to find honest, dependable, experienced help in any service business.Im thankful to say I was blessed or lucky to find A&D first. Gary, who runs the business with is wife, Mary, is a true-blue professional in the space of plumbing and HVAC. He has 35 years of experience, and whats equally important, he has a heart to serve and deliver value for his fees, which I found very reasonable.He got me out of a pinch (coming out on very short notice) during the coldest snap weve had in years and my radiant floor heating system wasnt keeping up with it, and then, when I ran out of propane, not only was he willing to have one of his team come out on a Sunday morning to take a look at it (before I knew I was out of propane), and he connected me with a propane company that would do an emergency refill once I figured out what was wrong, because the propane company I had worked with previously didnt have an emergency refill system, and most propane places require youve worked with them previously to do an emergency refill. (This only works if you own your propane tank; you cant have them refill someone elses that youre leasing).This is two interactions Ive had with A&D that have had highly positive outcomes, and Gary has never tried to make an extra buck off of me, even though he easily could. So, in short, I found my service company for radiant floor heating and HVAC and plumbing in general, and Id recommend them for all of the above to anyone else, though its especially hard to find someone who has so much experience working with radiant floor heating systems.

Gary and Mary are such wonderful people and do such great work! I would recommend them to anyone!
